Akshay Kumar’s Viral Gutka Remark at Jolly LLB 3 Launch

Share

Bollywood’s association with pan masala and gutka brands has long been a controversial subject, with several top stars facing backlash for endorsing harmful products while earning massive paychecks.

However, Akshay Kumar recently set himself apart with a firm stand against gutka consumption. At the Jolly LLB 3 trailer launch in Kanpur, when asked about the city’s infamous gutka connection, the actor promptly replied, “Gutka nahi khana chahiye” (One should not consume gutka).

When the journalist pushed the point further, Akshay snapped back, saying, “Interview mera hai ya tumhara? Main bol raha hoon, gutka nahi khana chahiye, that’s it. Next question.” (Is this my interview or yours? I’m saying one should not consume gutka, that’s it. Next question).

The video of Akshay’s sharp response quickly went viral, sparking debates on social media. While many Bollywood stars are usually trolled for promoting pan masalas, Akshay drew attention for flipping the script — shutting down the reporter instead. The moment also revived memories of his own past endorsement controversy.

On the work front, Jolly LLB 3 brings back Akshay Kumar as Jolly Mishra, locking horns with Arshad Warsi’s rival Jolly in a gripping courtroom drama. Saurabh Shukla also returns as the beloved Judge Tripathi. Packed with witty exchanges and intense arguments, the film is all set for a grand theatrical release on September 19, 2025.

Samantha Finds Happiness Beyond Films

Share

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, last seen in Citadel: Honey Bunny (2023), has embraced a new chapter in her life, one that no longer revolves around the race for back-to-back film releases.

Speaking at the All India Management Association’s 52nd National Management Convention in Delhi, the actress opened up about how her battle with myositis — an autoimmune condition — reshaped her perspective on both life and career.

“The earlier version of me would probably have five films releasing in a year. Today, I haven’t had a film release in two years, but I am the happiest I have ever been,” Samantha shared.

She admitted that there was a time when her self-worth was tied to Friday box-office numbers, but her focus has now shifted toward wellness and mindful living. “Keeping a gratitude journal for one year changed my entire personality,” she revealed.

Beyond cinema, Samantha is investing her energy into projects like her podcast and wellness-driven ventures, reflecting her commitment to long-term health, positivity, and personal growth.

Samyuktha Menon’s Busy Lineup of South Films

Share

Samyuktha Menon has quietly risen to become one of the most promising actresses in South Indian cinema. Making her silver screen debut with the Malayalam comedy-drama Popcorn in 2016, the versatile star soon expanded her horizons into Kollywood and Tollywood, delivering back-to-back hits.

Currently, Samyuktha is one of the busiest actresses, with as many as eight projects in different stages of production. She is set to appear in Balakrishna’s highly anticipated pan-India action drama Akhanda 2, the Puri Jagannadh–Vijay Sethupathi collaboration, Sharwanand’s Nari Nari Naduma Murari, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’ Haindava, Nikhil’s Swayambhu, Lawrence’s Benz, a Bollywood venture Maharagni alongside Kajol, and a female-centric film under the Hasya Movies banner.

Her Tollywood journey has been particularly impressive. She made her Telugu debut with Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak and went on to deliver memorable performances in blockbusters like Bimbisara, SIR, and Virupaksha. Most recently, she was seen in Kalyan Ram’s Devil and Dil Raju’s Love Me.

At a time when many young actresses are still finding their footing, Samyuktha has carved a unique path, securing roles opposite leading stars across industries. With her strong lineup of films, she is poised to scale even greater heights in the coming years.

Aamir Khan Clarifies Weight Gain Reason

Share

Aamir Khan has recently been spotted with a bulkier frame, sparking speculation that the transformation was for his much-talked-about biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke. However, the actor has now set the record straight.

In an exclusive interaction, Aamir revealed that his weight gain is actually due to a medical condition. “I’ve been dealing with severe migraines for a while, and the treatment involves steroids. Unfortunately, steroids cause weight gain, and I can’t avoid it. But I’ve already begun my diet and workout routine because I need to be fit for my upcoming projects,” he clarified.

When asked if his health issues have been resolved, the actor admitted that doctors are still searching for the root cause. “No, the problem isn’t fully cured yet. The steroids do suppress the headaches, but I can’t stay on them forever. Sometimes it’s tough to diagnose why exactly these things happen. It’s complicated,” Aamir explained.

Despite the challenges, the superstar remains optimistic and focused on returning to his best shape for the big screen.

Bucchi Babu Sana Confesses His Fear of Ghosts

Share

Bucchi Babu Sana hardly needs an introduction. The director made a remarkable debut with Uppena, instantly making a mark in the Telugu film industry and joining the prestigious “100 Crore Club” with his first film. A protege of renowned director Sukumar, Bucchi Babu Sana’s directorial debut was a massive success, capturing the attention of audiences and critics alike.

Now, for his second film, he has roped in none other than global star Ram Charan, which speaks volumes about the scale and ambition of his next project. Currently, Bucchi Babu Sana is directing Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor. Despite juggling busy shooting schedules, he also makes time to attend various film-related events.

Recently, he attended the pre-release event of Kishkindhapuri, a horror film directed by Kaushik Pegallapati and featuring Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and Malayalam actress Anupama Parameswaran. The film is set to release on September 12, and the makers hosted multiple promotional events leading up to it.

During the Hyderabad pre-release event on September 10, Bucchi Babu Sana surprised everyone by revealing his own fear of ghosts. When anchor Suma asked, “What scares you?” he shared a hilarious personal anecdote:

“I am extremely scared of ghosts. Once, I went to a theater in Tiruchchirappalli to watch Chandramukhi. I watched the entire movie sitting with my legs on the chair because I was so scared. The show was at 11:30 PM, and I called my friend saying, ‘Ray Mama, I’m coming; open the room door for me.’ My friend had set the ringtone to the ‘Varay’ theme from Chandramukhi, and by the time I reached the room, hearing that ringtone made me even more terrified. I thought, ‘Do we need all this fear, Babu?’ That was when the fear really hit me,” he recounted.

The video of Bucchi Babu Sana sharing this experience has gone viral on social media, with fans both amused and surprised. Some joked about how he directs horror films yet gets scared watching them in real life, while others speculated how he would handle shooting a horror film himself. Regardless, his candid confession about his fear has left the audience laughing and entertained.
