When Jagan Congratulates Kejriwal, Naidu Stays Mum
Congratulations are pouring down for Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal as AAP retained power in the national capital for the third time in a row. The likes of Mamata Banerjee, Uddhav Thakceray and others have wished the best for Kejriwal and so did AP CM YS Jagan.
Taking to his twitter handle, Jagan wrote, “Hearty congratulations to @AamAadmiParty & @ArvindKejriwal on the remarkable victory in #DelhiPolls2020. Wishing you a successful tenure ahead.”
Surprisingly, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is silent on the Delhi polls results. In 2019 before the assembly elections, Chandrababu campaigned extensively against BJP and in New Delhi, he staged ‘Dharma Porata Deeksha.’ To this protest Kejriwal extended solidarity and also made it to the event. Chandrababu also lauded Kejriwal’s fight against Modi and BJP then. Now the scenario is different and not even a formality congratulatory message was posted by Chandrababu.
The non-BJP allies are celebrating AAP’s victory but is Chandrababu absolutely silent. Politics are always unpredictable, they say and it is turning out to be true.
Vijay Deverakonda Joins Hands With Myntra
Considered as a powerhouse of talent, Vijay Devarakonda created a niche for himself by opting for performance-oriented roles. Known for his multitasking abilities, the actor launched his clothing brand ‘Rowdy’ in July, last year. The ‘Rowdy’ app crashed on the fifth day after launch due to remarkably huge number of downloads.
Vijay Deverakonda who hosted his second Rowdy Sundowner Party has announced to join hands with India’s leading Fashion e-commerce brand Myntra. He spoke to his Rowdies (as Vijay fondly calls his fans) about the progress of his brand and thanked everyone on the huge success of his venture Rowdy Wear.
Rowdy is a lifestyle brand that aims to bring street fashion into everyday lives. The brand boasts of a majority of products being Unisex. The brand’s streetwear range includes shirts, tees, sweatshirts, kurtas, jackets, hoodies, joggers, sneakers, caps, belts and more. The merchandise will be available on Myntra from February 12th.
On the film front, Vijay Deverakonda’s next outing World Famous Lover will hit the screens on 14h of this month. The actor is working with Puri Jagannadh for a Pan India film which is expected to make him a household name across the country with Bollywood ace filmmaker Karan Johar being part of it as one of the producers.
Ram Charan Lauds Jaanu, What About Ala?
Mega hero Ram Charan is back in the town from his USA and Europe visit and the seriously joined the shooting of #RRR such that film will not miss its deadlines. And then, the actor started watching the pending list of movies he has to catch up.
Other day Charan heaped praises on Samantha and Sharwanand’s latest film Jaanu, which got rave reviews from all the quarters. He stated that taking up a remake which is already a classic is a risky thing, but hailed Sam and Sharwan for nailing the film with their clinical performance. However, these comments of Charan led to another discussion altogether.
Earlier, Allu Arjun has claimed that Ram Charan hasn’t watched the movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo as he is in the USA. Now that the actor is back, many thought that he would watch Ala and give his feedback on it. Despite the fact that the film turned out to be an industry hit, many wonder why Charan maintained silence on it. That’s what worries even fans too as they are posting the same on Twitter now.
Charan has earlier wished Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo all the best at the time of release. Maybe the star hero hasn’t really got time to catch up with the movie.
Sarileru Neekevvaru 50 Days Event Will Give A High
Despite the fact that Mahesh Babu has stopped promotions two weeks after the film’s release, Sarileru Neekevvaru is getting good footfalls at the box office. This is due to the fact that the commercial entertainers will always be first pick of audiences who are still in that Sankranthi holidays mood.
And now, Mahesh wants to give another closing gift to the fans when it comes to this film directed by Anil Ravipudi. After claiming the movie as an industry hit, actually they haven’t done any press meet or neither Mahesh nor Anil Ravipudi met the media to share their happiness. We are hearing that they are going to do that at Kurnool very soon.
By the end of February, Sarileru Neekevvaru which released on Jan 11th is going to complete its 50 days run at the box office. Producer Anil Sunkara and Dil Raju are said to be planning to do a grand 50 days event at Kurnool on this eve on March 1st, Sunday. Already arrangements are being done for this ‘blockbuster ka baap’ event, they say.
A source in the know revealed that the excitement will be new high at this event as Mahesh is going to make couple of new announcements about his upcoming projects there.
‘Aha’ Review: A Great Start, But Quality Over Quantity Needed
At a time when OTT apps like Netflix, Prime Video and Hotstar are literally shaking the Indian market with their terrific content including movies, web series and other entertainment content. Taking a cue from their success, Indian apps like ALT Balaji, Zee5, MX Player, SunNXT slowly started taking a share in the market. Though all these apps buy Telugu content as well, there is no exclusive app dedicated to Telugu folks.
Working on that aspect, mega producer Allu Arvind has simply stunned everyone with his ‘Aha’, the first ever OTT app that has only Telugu content. To start with, the mega producer pulled off a great surprise because Telugu producers often stay away from such technology based things as they known only producing movies and distributing them. So what is the content of this app is like?
The app has all the movies that Geetha Arts owns and definitely that is worth subscribing to. Coming to the web series part, so far they have concentrated only on pushing a great deal of content into the app rather focusing on quality content it looks like. The much hyped Krish’s Mastis didn’t fail to click as the content lacks real emotional punch.
At the same time, Viva Harsha and Sanjana’s crime comedy #ShitHappens failed to evince interest. Also, the new version of Geetha Subrahmanyam web series that created a raze earlier on YouTube is only partially good. Similarly Kotha Poradu is a series carved in Telangana region with authentic local flavour but nowhere it catches our attention.
For the now, it is great of Allu Arvind to provide such an interesting platform for Telugu folks to showcase thier talents where there is no worry of Censorship. Maybe down the lane, Aha might bring us content that has uniqueness and freshness like we see in Netflix or Amazon.
Buzz: Pawan ‘orders’ Producer’s Presence!
When a leading hero is on the sets acting in a film, generally its producer is also definitely available on the sets most of the time.If under any circumstances he is compelled to go out, he ensures that somebody responsible will be there to take care of the production requirements.
This is very common in the industry, But it is difficult for the producer to be present on the every time whenever hero is there on the sets.
The reason is simple: if the producer is making a film with a big hero, it is a question of spending hundreds of crores. So, the producer has to undergo a lot of tensions in arranging money, apart from other business works.
Heroes should understand the situation of the producer and has to adjust himself with the situation. But power star Pawan Kalyan is learnt to have given an “order” to producer A M Ratnam to be present as long as he is on the sets.In the last 10 days, Pawan took part in the shooting of Ratnam’s film being directed by Krish Jagarlamudi.
He has completed one schedule, but when he noticed that Ratnam was not visible on the sets in the initial days, he reportedly made it clear to the director that the presence of producer on the sets is mandatory as long as he was participating in the shooting.Till now, Pawan has completed shooting of his part in two different schedules in the two films that he is acting in.
While the shooting for the remake of “Pink” is going on for the scenes that do not have Pawan, the next schedule of Krish’s film has not yet been finalised.
