Star Hero Rejects To Take Money for RRR?
Back then, there is a huge buzz that Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgan is being paid the amount he actually charges for a full-length film in the Hindi industry for Rajamouli’s upcoming magnum opus #RRR. And here is another interesting snippet coming straight from Film Nagar regarding this paycheck.
After acting for a couple of days, Ajay Devgan has successfully finished the guest role he is playing in #RRR without any delays. And just for the record, Rajamouli wants the producer to give him super-sized remuneration even though he has worked just for half a week, out of respect that Ajay is a big Bollywood star who said yes to his proposal immediately. But Ajay felt, taking money for a guest role in a Rajamouli film is not a respectable thing.
Sources close to #RRR revealed that Ajay felt that Rajamouli is such a great director every actor in India wants to work with. And just for three days of work, he can’t charge that way. Though the producer is ready with the cheque, Ajay is said to have refused to take a single penny from #RRR team. If that’s true, it is quite stunning we must say
I Want To Follow Akshay Kumar’s Formula: Sharwanand
Hero Sharwanand is quite elated with the unanimous positive talk his film Jaanu that released today received from critics and audience alike.
Sharwa was initially hesitant to do the film, because there will be huge risk involved in remaking classics. However, Dil Raju who had great conviction in the subject convinced him.
“I initially was hesitant to do the film. But, Dil Raju had the belief of the film could do wonders in Telugu as well. In fact, his judgement turned true for Shatamanam Bhavati as well.”
Sharwa says he didn’t do any hard work for the film. “Director Premkumar used to narrate me the backstory for every scene, so that I could understand the depth.”
According to him, playing Ram was the toughest work for him so far. “The role has fewer dialogues, but has more expressions. I used to be in the same mood while working for the film.”
Sharwanand who learnt lessons spending huge time on Padi Padi Leche Manasu and Ranarangam which ended as disasters has decided to do more films in a calendar year.
“I want to follow Akshay Kumar’s formula. I want to do as many films as possible in a year.”
Sharwa also revealed plotline of his next film Sreekaram. “Why can’t a farmer’s son become a farmer is the plotline of the film. It’s a genuine film.”
Jagan To Restore Deleted Pensions!
Following negative reports from different parts of Andhra Pradesh that names of several thousands of people were deleted from the list of pensioners in the state, the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government has started taking corrective measures.
The chief minister, who held a review meeting on the subject, instructed that the officials take special measures to do justice to those who have not received pension.
He asked them to launch a special drive for a week to identify eligible persons for pension who were left out.
Minister for panchayat raj and rural development Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy said in a statement that mandal development officers and municipal commissioners would personally visit the houses of applicants who have been left out and after scrutiny, if the beneficiary is eligible for pension, he or she would get two months pension in March including that of February.
In all, 54.68 lakh beneficiaries identified as part of Nava Sakam survey, the minister said and added that volunteers had personally disbursed pension of Rs 1320 crore at the door-steps of the beneficiaries on January 1 which amounts to nearly 87% of the pension and thereby created a record in the disbursal of pension.
A record number of 6.14 lakh new beneficiaries have been identified this month for pension as part of Nava Sakam survey in the state.
The names of 4.80 lakh people who were ineligible were deleted. The minister said the government aims at providing pension at desirable level as part of YSR Pension Kanuka.
“If any eligible person has not received pension, there is no need to panic, as a comprehensive survey was being conducted on the eligibility criteria,” he said.
Capital shift is already underway: Botsa
AP Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister, Botsa Satyanarayana said that the day when the YSRCP government took a decision on ‘Three Capitals’ the works to shift have begun from then itself.
Speaking to the media in Amaravati, Botsa said so and when the presspersons asked about the cases pending in AP High Court, he replied that they are taking decision within the Law limits. “We respect High Court and our government will abide the law. All the decisions taken by government are part of administration and the government has the power to do so,” added Botsa.
Interestingly Botsa’s comments come in the wake of High Court expressing its anger on the YSRCP government when it issued a G.O. of shifting offices of Vigilance and Commissionarate of Enquiry ot Kurnool while the case is pending with the court.
The AP High Court has postponed all the cases related to ‘Three Capitals’ and ‘Capital shift’ on February 26th.
Mega Hero Gets ‘DC Superheroes’ Gifts From HBO
Mega hero Varun Tej received goodies of his favourite comics brand DC and he is super elated with the special gesture. Taking it to his Instagram, Varun shared the pictures of the stuff he got.
There is a batman eye mask and a car, a mug with logos of batman, wonder woman and Superman. Then a pillow compromising of all the heroes and a few other stuff. These gifts were sent by HBO India and in a small note they wrote, “We know your love for ‘SuperHeroes.’ So Batman, Superman and other Superheroes are coming your way.”
“Some amazing guests decided to pay me a visit ! Thank you @hboindia for noticing my love for DC superheroes!!!,” tweeted Varun.
On work front, the mega hero will be seen in a sports drama. For this Varun is getting trained in boxing and the regular shooting of the film will kick-start from next month.
‘Not True’, Kia Motors Clarifies Rumors On Relocation
Kia Motors India issued a clarification on rumors that emerged about their manufacturing facility relocating outside of Andhra Pradesh.
The Korean company denied all the rumors about moving away to Tamil Nadu, in their recent statements and asked the consumers to refrain from reports that do not cover the facts or official confirmation. The Kia Motors assured that they were receiving full support from the state Government.
Rumors emerged after a major media house wrote about Kia Motors relocating to Tamil Nadu vexed after the AP Government’s non-cooperation, though the news was reported as ‘from sources’.
AP Government yesterday denied the rumors emerged in media and affirmed that Kia Motors is very much in Andhra Pradesh and that has a long term commitment to the Indian market.
Buzz: Puri Jagan Impact On Vijay’s Attitude
At the trailer launch event of his latest movie ‘World Famous Lover’, hero Vijay Devarakonda not only stated that this film is his last love story but also stayed very calm and composed throughout. He stressed on the fact that his career is entering a new phase so he wants the content to speak rather doing the hungama himself.
It was quite a surprise for everyone to see that Vijay is pretty calm and spoke simpler words rather exaggerated dialogues and showcasing lots of aggression. But how come this change? People close to the actor are calling this as an effect of director Puri Jagan who is currently working with him.
Usually, Puri’s heroes explode on the silver screen but he will never explode that way at press meets or pre-release events. And he stays calm and composed no matter what, even when he met the media after his infamous drugs-related questioning episode, the director maintained utmost calmness. Maybe his philosophies and friendship would have changed Vijay Devarakonda too.
While waiting for World Famous Lover release on Feb 14th, Vijay is working with Puri on ‘Fighter’ which is being shot in Mumbai and co-produced by Karan Johar.
Heroine Gets A Call From Jabardasth Team!
Recently, Telugu girl Madhavilatha is in the news after she posted on her Facebook page about imminent death. Later she deleted that posted and blasted media reports for exaggerating her general comment. Also, she clarified that neither she is suffering from any illness, nor there is any other issue.
Until then, there are no offers in Madhavilatha’s hand other than the fact that she has unsuccessfully contested in 2019 general elections on BJP ticket for Guntur Loksabha election. But then, the FB comments and the subsequent media coverage made the actress get a call from Jabardasth team.
Apparently Hyper Aadhi is said to have approached Madhavilatha to play a role in his skit, and the actress agreed to do it immediately. No doubt, she still looks like heroine material and has those sensible expressions we saw in ‘Nachavule’ movie intact. Whether she will get further break into films or not, continuing in Jabardasth is also a good option if she could do it.
On the other hand, cinema offers are also said to be coming Madhavilatha’s way post the controversial FB post.
