Bollywood’s Hottest Girl In Talks For Pawan Kalyan

Share

The thought that Pawan Kalyan is back to acting is actually exciting his fans to the core. And his lineup of almost 5 films, which includes three officially confirmed movies, is like icing on the cake. One of the ambitious projects Pawan has taken up is Krish’s movie, which is said to be a period drama with lots of action content.

Though inspired by patriotic content, there will be a few commercial elements and a cute love story, if reports are to be believed. Earlier names of many starlets are heard in connection with this project, but then, Krish is said to be approaching Bollywood starlets such that the film will get the pan-India appeal.

Buzz has that Krish has reportedly approached sexy siren Vaani Kapoor to play the leading lady’s role in the movie. She is popular for her bikini looks on the silver screen for films like Befikre and War, and also acted in Nani’s Telugu version of Bang Baaja Baarat, which is titled Aha Kalyanam.

Like how Rajamouli got Alia Bhatt for #RRR, looks like Krish is also planning things in a similar manner.

Ghastly Incident Behind Sekhar Kammula’s Love Story?

Share

Director Sekhar Kammula is known for carving out sensible films that have feminism as a major element most of the times. Running high with the success of Fidaa, he actually started a film with newcomers, but then replaced the cast with Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. And this film is titled “Love Story” which is set for April 2020 release.

Though Sekhar’s carves simple love stories, this time he is said to have borrowed the theme of the movie from a really ghastly incident that has shaken Telugu states last year. The honour killing incident of Miryalaguda that involved the brutal daylight murder of Pranay is said to be the inspiration behind Sekhar’s new movie.

While Pranay hails from a Scheduled Caste, his wife Amrutha is from an upper caste. Irritated with their love marriage, the girl’s father hatched a plan to murder the boy even after knowing that his daughter is pregnant with the boy’s child. The incident has not only shocked people but led to various debates on TVs and Amrutha’s every single word made many roll down tears.

Taking a cue from this incident, we hear that Sekhar developed his “Love Story” on caste-basis theme. Though films like Sairat have similar theme, we have to see how this talented directed approached the subject and carved it.

Teaser: Not just a ‘Pitta Katha’, but a big story

Bhavya Creations is a renowned production house and the fact that they are bankrolling a small film like ‘Pitta Katha’ is raising many eyebrows.

The film stars budding actors Viswant, Sanjay Rao, and Nithya Shetty in the lead roles and superstar Mahesh Babu launched the teaser of the film today.

Going by the teaser, this film is not just a ‘Pitta Katha’,but it has a rather big story indeed.

‘Pitta Katha’ is a triangular love story based on innocent people in a village backdrop.

However, things take a big turn after the lady lead goes missing and thrilling elements come in. This was showcased in the teaser and speaks volumes about the content of the film.

Debutant Chandu Muddu gave the story and also directed the film under Bhavya Creations banner.

Noted actor, Bramhaji’s son Sanjay Rao acted as one of the male leads, and Viswant, who previously acted in ‘Tholu Bommalaata’, ‘Manamantha’, and ‘Kerintha’ played the other male lead role.

The film will be hitting the theaters in the month of March.

Andhra Talk: Kiya nahin kiya, tho kaun kiya?

Share

This is the question everybody has been asking for the last 24 hours.

The so-called “sensational” news reported by international news agency Reuters on Wednesday about South Korean automobile giant Kia Motors is planning to wind up its first car plant in India in Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh and negotiating with Tamil Nadu to shift its plant there turned out to be hoax within 24 hours.

While Andhra Pradesh government, Tamil Nadu government and Kia Motors India management strongly refuted the reports stating that there are no plans whatsoever to shift the plant from Anantapur to anywhere in India, the correspondents of news agency Reuters remained tight lipped, without even defending themselves.

It clearly showed that the report on Kia was a planted one. Now, the question is who could have planted this story.

According to some sections in the government, it could be a deliberate plant by Kia Motors management itself as a sort of blackmailing tactics, in order to bring pressure on the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

There were reports that the government was planning to withdraw certain concessions given by the previous TDP government to Kia for its expansion plans. May be, the report was planted to force the new government to continue the same.

There are also reports that it could be the plant by the Telugu Desam Party to malign the image of the YSRC government and project it as a villain for industrial investments.

Social media reports indicated that Thomson Reuters, the parent organisation of Reuters news agency, had signed an agreement with the state government during the Naidu regime for setting up its unit here.

Naidu enjoys good relations with Reuters management and there is every reason to believe that the TDP might have got the story planted through this news agency about Kia’s possible shift to Tamil Nadu.

In any case, the Kia Motors episode gave the much-needed fodder for the Telugu media, which has been getting monotonous with the repeated coverage of Amaravati farmers’ agitation for the last two months.

Both Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy gave a common headline: “Kia Kalakalam” but the coverage was huge in Eenadu which made it as a banner story. While giving both the versions of the government and Kia management, Eenadu report also raised several doubts over Kia’s plans.

Expectedly, it also gave a big coverage to Naidu’s press conference, in which he alleged that the YSRC leaders were intimidating Kia management.

Sakshi also carried the Kia story as a banner, but it was a sort of strong rebuttal to Reuters story. It suspected a big conspiracy behind the planting of the news story.

Amidst this “masala” news, there is also another news that got prominence in all the three dailies – it is about Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank which agreed in principle the proposal of the state government to borrow Rs 21,000 crore loan from the bank for various infrastructure projects.

Similarly, Jagan’s review meeting on Rythu Bharosa scheme, in which he said the government itself would purchase the food grains if the Centre did not give enough support price.

Besides, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pot shots at Rahul Gandhi and his aggressive speech in Rajya Sabha holding first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru responsible for the partition of India also figured prominently in the Telugu media.

Yet another shock to Balayya’s son-in-law!

Share

Telugu Desam Party leader and chairman of Gitam Group of Institutions Matukumilli Sri Bharat, also happens to be younger son-in-law of senior actor and TDP legislator Nandamuri Balakrishna, received yet another shock on Friday, when he received a notice from Karoor Vysya Bank for payment of Rs 124.39 crore which his family had defaulted to the bank.

According to the notice, Bharat’s father Pattabhi Rama Rao, Lakshman Rao and other family members had taken a big loan from Karoor Vysya Bank in Abids, Hyderabad for operating a private company called Techno Unique Infratech Private Ltd.

So far, they had not repaid even a single rupee to the bank. The dues to the bank, including principle and interest, mounted to Rs 124,39,21,485 till now.

The bank served a notice on Bharat and others to repay the loan before January 21, 2020, but till now, there was no response from the defaulters.

As a result, the bank authorities issued a notice in the newspapers stating that they would auction the properties of Bharat and his family members pledged with the bank.

It is learnt the defaulters had pledged lands located at Gajuwaka and Bhimili mandals in Visakhapatnam.

In the past, too, Bharat had allegedly defaulted loans worth Rs 100 crore taken from Andhra Bank. This bank also issued a newspaper notification seeking to auction the assets of his power project at Garividi for allegedly defaulting the loan repayment.

Apart from Sri Bharat, the bank named his wife Tejaswini and a few others connected with his 3 MW power plant – VBC Renewable Energy – as the defaulters of the loan.

Bharat, who contested as TDP candidate in the recent Lok Sabha elections from Visakhapatnam parliamentary constituency, blamed it on AP Transco for the losses incurred by the company.

Yeddyurappa to follow Jagan policy!

Share

When YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy enacted a legislation in the state assembly seeking to provide 75 per cent reservation in jobs for locals, the opposition parties raised a hue and cry.

Telugu Desam Party described it as a retrogressive step and his favourite media wrote several articles questioning the move.

Even the national media found fault with Jagan for bringing this legislation saying it would adversely affect the investment climate in the country.

In fact, on Thursday, too, TDP president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu raised this issue and alleged that Kia Motors had planned to shift its base from Anantapur to Tamil Nadu because of this clause of 75 per cent quota for locals.

“Local YSRC leaders have been bringing pressure on Kia Motors to give jobs to their party supporters. If Karnataka, Gujarat and other states also impose the same rule, will our Telugu youth get jobs there?” he asked.

Around the same time, Karnataka government led by B S Yeddyurappa also came up with a proposal for providing 75% reservation for Kannadigas in government and private jobs in his state.

Karnataka labour minister S Suresh Kumar announced that the state government was soon going to prepare a draft legislation on 75 per cent quota for locals in factories, shops, commercial establishments, MSMEs and joint ventures, besides government recruitments.

He said though the government would not want to discriminate against any section, but had taken a decision only in the interest of the Kannada people who feel they are being discriminated against.

“They feel they are not getting jobs in the state, as people from other states were knocking away their opportunities,” he said.

Not just Karnataka, even Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat governments are planning to follow Andhra model to address the unemployment in the locals.

Now, what will Naidu say about this?

Negative Campaign Is Not Good for AP

Share

The TDP has a special style and strategy of pushing forward its line of thought, mostly in its favour for its political prospects.

The party leadership, particularly from the time Chandrababu Naidu usurped power in August 1995, the party has an innovative way of taking its “word” in its own “format” to the people. The strategy is to make people believe what it tells or propagates.

It had unleashed a campaign against Jagan Mohan Reddy that he had amassed wealth to the tune of Rs 1 lakh crore through quid pro quo when his father Rajasekhar Reddy was the chief minister.

The campaign made people to believe that Jagan Mohan Reddy had indulged in corruption of Rs 1 lakh crore. But the fact is that the CBI, ED and IT have only found properties worth Rs 1600 crore. This is how the TDP launches and spreads its campaign making people believe it.

The campaign against one individual, Jagan Mohan Reddy, was acceptable as he is their rival and it is for Jagan Mohan Reddy to prove himself or face the punishment.

But, the dangerous of all the campaigns is what is happening in Andhra Pradesh these days.

To target the political rival, the TDP is spreading its malicious campaign against the State, to create panic among the people and think as if Jagan Mohan Reddy is failed and they voted for a wrong person.

Take for example, the sand issue that the TDP started its campaign against the government.

It is everyone’s knowledge that sand is not available during rainy season and there would be a slowdown in the construction activity.

In addition to this, the government was designing a new policy to avoid sand exploitation, a crime committed by the TDP leaders in the past.

Despite these facts, the TDP tried its best to make people believe that sand is not available and Jagan had failed.

The floods to river Krishna and the flood threat to Chandrababu Naidu’s rented house, which is located right in the river water, too were used by the TDP to throw mud against Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Now, having failed in all these and in an attempt to protect their investments in Amaravati, the TDP is spreading a malicious campaign as if industries are leaving the State and investors are running away.

The Kia Motors episode is one such malicious campaign that was aimed at causing panic among the people and turning them against Jaganmohan Reddy.

If the TDP continues such malicious campaign, it is the state that would lose the investment and not Jaganmohan Reddy or Chandrababu Naidu.

Such campaign might help Naidu to come back to power in the next elections, but it would certainly cause greater harm to the State as it would get the brand image of anti-investor and anti-industry.

The youth sensation Vijay Deverakonda will next be seen in an intense romantic entertainer World Famous Lover gracing the theaters on 14th of this month.

The film’s trailer was released yesterday to tremendous response. Nonetheless, the suspense over Vijay Deverakonda’s character and the film’s plot still continues.

Currently, the film’s trailer is trending top in YouTube with over 5 Million real time views and 186K likes in 24 hours.

Vijay’s various getups; especially the character of Singareni worker impressed one and all. In fact, we learnt that, this is the most entertaining character among four characters of Vijay.

Vijay Deverakonda will be seen uttering dialogues in typical Telangana slang. Director Kranthi Madhav who did some research is said to have taken extreme care on this character.

Vijay’s scenes with his on screen wife Aishwarya Rajesh and boss Catherine Tresa in the Singareni episode are going to be thoroughly enjoyable.

As observed in the trailer, Vijay is hilarious in the role of Singareni worker. His body-language and attitude are completely atypical from the kind of roles he has done so far.

Interim, the young hero who doesn’t want to do love stories at least for some time is promoting the film vigorously.

The pre-release function will be held in Hyderabad in a couple of days on February 9th.
