Mass Raja Should Give Up This Bollywood Picchi
Some heroes have some fetishes and always they end up showing that in their movies. For example, Mass Raja Raviteja is a huge fan of Hindi because he has grown up in Mumbai for years and also he is a huge fan of Amitabh Bachhan too. For that reason, he comes up with lots of Big B and Bollywood touch in most of his film.
Even in his latest movie Disco Raja, Raviteja appears as a don in Chennai but a huge fan of vintage disco songs of Bollywood and Amitabh Bachhan. Not only he uses these Hindi songs, but also he speaks Hindi dialogues at times with his villains and others. Despite the fact that Tamilians (at least of the 80s) never loved Hindi or Hindi speaking persons, Raviteja is shown growing as a don in Madras in the 80s quite easily. These logicless character arcs don’t work as audiences are quite intelligent about the facts these days.
Also, the new generation of the audience is not connecting to that Amitabh Bachhan and Bollywood bhajana here. Back then, Raviteja did a similar kind of Bhajana in many movies including Don Seenu and others without understanding the fact the Telugu audiences of the modern day are not even a remote fan of Big B. Maybe the mass star should give up that Bollywood pichhi to make sure that his films work.
Prabhas And Rajamouli To Clash At The Box Office?
One of the hell-like combination in the entire Indian film industry is none other than Rajamouli and Prabhas. Though they have collaborated only once (barring Chatrapathi) for a big budgeted bonanza, their union has rocked the nation as Baahubali franchisee emerged a never-ever kind of a legend in the history of Indian cinema. What if these two compete with each other?
Of course, Telugu cinema audience wouldn’t want Rajamouli and Prabhas to compete with each other as they want the two to collaborate. But then, we are hearing that the upcoming films of these two big superstars might hit the box office around the same time in case if Rajamouli misses out the said date like he always does.
Actually #RRR is set for July 30, 2020 release but news is coming from close quarters that the film might get postponed to October month owing to some delays that took place earlier as Ram Charan got busy with Sye Raa promotions. And then, Prabhas has recently kick-started the shooting of his next film, tentatively titled Jaan, after a lot of gaps. He is now said to be focusing on releasing the film in the month of October on Dasara eve.
Both #RRR and Jaan will be focusing on a pan-India release and even if they don’t crash into each other, they might release with just a week or couple of weeks gap. But what will be the use of this clash is the question of the hour as the one who is a bit slow with content might end up losing big time due to the clash.
Anyway, it’s too early to talk about the release date of these two biggies as both Prabhas and Rajamouli doesn’t carve out films so easily and swiftly.

We did not get many updates about Ileana during her serious relationship with Andrew Kneebone except for her sea diving and bikinis from Fiji tourism promotions. Post-break-up, Ileana is back to flaunting her sultry side and here is the hip beauty doing it yet again.

Ram Charan As A Cop! Only For 5 Minutes
The true roles of both the superstars Ram Charan and Jr NTR are yet to come out, but they are playing the characters of Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem in the upcoming magnum opus #RRR. However, there are plenty of scenes in the movie where some stars like Ajay Devgan will be seen as a cop. Here is another interesting snippet.
Apparently Ram Charan will also wear the Khaki uniform, appearing as the British-India policeman in a part of the movie, say sources. However, his role might last only for 5-8 minutes in the movie as he will be wearing khaki only to deceive other police folks around him. While Ajay Devgan and Jr NTR are shooting for their parts already, Charan will be shooting for this cop part in the next week, they say.
On the other hand, already lots of expectations are kicking up on #RRR due to the fact that it is Rajamouli’s next after Baahubali franchise. While none other the Baahubali troupe including that of Prabhas, Rana and Anushka have lived up to the expectations post Baahubali series, we have to see what Rajamouli will do with this mega-multistarrer project.
‘Industry hit’ Posters Embarrassing Sensible Fans Of Mahesh?
With a very ordinary story, Sarileru Neekevvaru definitely achieved a rare feat with huge collections, that too when a blockbuster like Ala Vaikuntapuuram lo is running along. Instead of enjoying the great success, the team’s enthusiasm for claiming the ‘Industry Hit’ is turning into a big joke.
Though it is the weakest of all Anil Ravipudi’s films, Mahesh Babu’s stardom has become the savior of Sarileru Neekevvaru. Right from start, the team of Sarileru Neekevvaru had been constantly trying to put up numbers above that of Ala Vaikuntapurram lo.
The latest posters from Sarileru Neekevvaru mentioned ‘Industry Hit’ and ‘Non-Baahubali 2’, which means they claim to have taken over the collections of the first part of Baahubali. Even staying miles behind Ala.. in many areas, Sarileru Neekevvaru’s posters claiming to have beaten Baahubali 1 in AP and Telangana, is purely absurd.
The ‘Industry hit’ posters from Namrata and Sarileru team were hit back by sensible fans of Mahesh babu. They are asking not to defame Mahesh babu and his true fans with false numbers.
Well, if Mahesh’s next turn out to become a real blockbuster, then they should be showing many larger-non-existing numbers to prove it as a bigger success than Sarileru Neekevvaru.
Chiru Watched ‘Ala..’ Alone & Felt This
Till now, there is no talk about what Megastar Chiranjeevi felt about the film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo that features Allu Arjun in the lead. Though he wished the film a super success while speaking at the pre-release event of Sarileru Neekevvaru, there is no official word if the matinee idol has seen the film or not.
Talking about the same, Allu Arjun revealed that on the release day afternoon, Megastar has watched the film at his home-theatre. And the big thing is that Megastar watched the movie all alone with his wife and a couple of other relatives as Ram Charan is also not there in the town. So what did he felt about the film?
“Usually celebs watch films in mass-theatres and based on reactions of people, they will guess how much this film could make at the box office. But Chiranjeevi garu is a ‘megastar’ and even after watching the film alone, he stated that it will collect a huge number and popped a number. We thought that he is saying so to encourage us, but that is happening in reality now” says Allu Arjun, adding, “He became a Megastasr because of his judgemental abilities mainly”.
Amidst claiming ‘industry hit’ status, Bunny didn’t revealed the number predicted by Chiranjeevi. On the flip side, trade circuits are putting up Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo collections that are not close to what Geetha Arts is claiming.

Happening hero Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘World Famous Lover’ started its musical promotions with a feel good vibe and it’s time for the second song.Announcing the song launch details, a poster is released and it has Vijay with one of the female leads Catherine Tresa.
Both are seen lying in a dump of coal and the song is aptly titled as ‘Boggu Ganilo.’ The lyrical video is scheduled to be out on January 29th.
Gopi Sundar is the music composer of the film.
Coming to the film, Vijay is doing a different role which is connected to with four ladies and the romance with them is going to be intense.
The tale with Catherine has the backdrop of coal mines. Director Kranthi Madhav has penned a unique love story laced with many layers.
‘World Famous Lover’ is slated for Valentines Day release i.e, February 14th.
Pawan angry with Dil Raju bargaining?
When he entered into active electoral politics two years ago, actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan made a tall claim that he had given up acting in films that would have fetched him crores of rupees every year just for the sake of public service.
He projected as if he had done a great sacrifice for people; and expected that the people would vote him to power to compensate for his sacrifices.
However, when the people rejected him outright in the elections, he threw all his vows to the wind and came back to the films to make money again.
Now, he is trying to defend himself for returning to films, as if somebody had earlier demanded him to stop acting.
He is making a counter attack on his critics saying whether politicians were not indulging in other business activities.
In any case, Pawan is quickly into films with remake of Bollywood hit film “Pink” whose shooting is going on at a quick pace.
It is learnt he has also given dates for a week to director Krish for his next film in the first week of February. However, everything is going in a hush-hush manner as Pawan does not want to make his returns to films a public affair.
Meanwhile, there is a talk in the film industry over some controversy with regard to remuneration being paid to Pawan for “Pink” remake.
Initially, it was proposed to rope in Trivikram for this film as stroy writer and remuneration for Pawan was believed to be Rs 50 crore.
But now, Dil Raju who is producing the film, is learnt to have proposed to pay only Rs 35 crore to Pawan for his 35-day shooting.
Apparently, he is learnt to have told Pawan that the dubbing rights for the film might not fetch much revenue and hence, Pawan should scale down his remuneration.
However, Pawan reportedly fumed at Dil Raju’s proposal and expressed anger as to why the producer was bargaining on remuneration after agreeing to pay Rs 50 crore initially. It is learnt Pawan threw his coffee cup down during this bargaining.
Nobody knows whether this is just a gossip or has any iota of truth in it. But industry sources say this film would easily fetch Rs 100 crore in theatre and non-theatre markets.
If that is the case, paying Rs 50 crore to Pawan is not a big thing for the producers.
Republic Day Celebrations at Gandhi Memorial in Dallas
Dallas, TX: Mahatma Gandhi Memorial of North Texas (MGMNT) organized the 71st India’s Republic Day Celebrations in Dallas (Irving) at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, the Largest Gandhi Memorial in the USA.
More than 400 Indian Americans including several children participated in the celebrations with great excitement and enthusiasm.
Mr. Rao Kalvala, Secretary, MGMNT welcomed the gathering, introduced MGMNT Board and expressed his joy over seeing several community members at Gandhi Memorial to celebrate Republic Day of India.
Dr. Prasad Thotakura, Chairman, MGMNT, hoisted the India flag in the midst of jubilant cheering crowd who recited both Indian and US National Anthems.
He cited the importance of the Republic Day being the day of the Constitution of India came into effect 70 years ago on January 26, 1950.
Dr. Thotakura in his keynote address stated that “India attaining its Republic status was the second major milestone in our nation building process, first being attaining the independence. With the framing and adoption of the constitution and the birth of the Republic of India, we truly achieved the ethic of equality among all citizens, irrespective of religion, region or community. Under the leadership of Father of the Constitution Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, – Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr. Babu Rajendra Prasad, Sardar Vallabbhai Patel, Moulana Abdul kalam Azad, Shyam Prasad Mukherjee etc., leaders worked hard for about 3 years to bring out the best constitution for the country. We have achieved a lot as a nation, but much remains to be done. We need to work on this in the spirit of the generation that gave us our Republic. About 600 million people, more than half of India’s population, are under 25 years old; no country in the world has more young people than India. Our Indian youth are coming to take over and change the world in a positive way.”
Mr. Abhijit Railkar, MGMNT Board of Director, conveyed his Republic Day greetings to the community and remembered the sacrifices of Mahatma Gandhi who got independence to India with only peace methods.
Mr. Shailesh Shah, MGMNT Board of Director, in his closing remarks thanked all volunteers and community members who helped to make the event successful.
He invited everyone to gather again on January 30th at the same place to observe the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and pay floral tribute to Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. MGMNT provided refreshments and breakfast to the community after the event.
