Shoot me! Amaravati farmer Urges Police
With the AP Assembly approving cop ‘Three Capitals’ proposal, farmers of Amaravati fumed in anger. From all of the 29 villages, farmers surrounded AP Assembly in all corners despite the police tight security. After the bill getting passed, farmers stormed without even bothering about the iron fencing and stuff.
The police warned the farmers not to enter the restricted areas but the farmers did not care. With tense situation, the police held lathicharge to drive away the farmers who were carrying black and Indian flags. A few farmers got injured in the lathicharge and one farmer asked the police officer to shoot him instead of stopping them.
This video of the farmer asking the police to shoot him and he would die peacefully instead of living such uncertainty life, is going viral on the internet.
At Velagapudi and few other places, police held lathicharge and still many restrictions are being imposed at Assembly surroundings.
Chandrababu’s Amaravati is a fraud: Kodali Nani
AP civil supplies minister Kodali Nani came down heavily on TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and hailed AP CM YS Jagan on proposing ‘Three Capitals.’
“A myth was created by Chandrababu that Amaravati lies in the centre of AP state. Did he measure with a tape? Where is India’s capital, New Delhi? It’s in the north and people from south will go all the way to New Delhi for work. Likewise where are Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru? Aren’t these days in the border of their respective states! So there is nothing wrong in having Vizag as Executive Capital and Amaravati as Legislature capital,” said Nani.
Mocking the TDP chief further, the YSRCP leader said, “Yes Amaravati is a divine place but this Amaravati is created by Chandrababu, not by Gods. Chandrababu’s Amaravati is fraud and he effortlessly bluffed the farmers of this region. CM Jagan had then cautioned the previous government not to hurry up in deciding the capital but Chandrababu did not bother about it. It’s Chandrababu who promised to develop Amaravati and how he can demand current CM Jagan now.”
Nani added that with help of his media, Chandrababu is doing false campaign that Jagan is targeting a particular community politically and financially. And it will be that community which will be loss, if Vizag is made capital. “To be honest, eighty percent of businesses in Vizag are being own by that particular community. So there is nothing loss for the particular community, if Vizag becomes capital and in fact they will benefit from it,” stated Nani in the assembly.
On asking Jagan to resign as referendum, Nani humiliated Chandrababu. “For Telangana agitation, KCR resigned twice despite being in opposition. He won and proved that there is Telangana sentiment. When Congress party is troubling Jagan, he resigned and won with a record majority. In the first elections, he won 67 MLAs and second elections, he became CM. If Chandrababu is seriously sincere in his efforts, he should resign first and go for by-elections,” said Nani.
Lastly the Gudivada MLA supported the ‘Three Capitals’ bill and hailed CM Jagan for making efforts for all round development of the state by developing three regions equally.

#ThreeCapitals: Pawan asks to oppose, Jana Sena MLA supports
As expected the only Jana Sena MLA in the AP Assembly as supported the ‘Three Capitals’ bill introduced by AP government. This is a surprise as Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has sent clear instructions to MLA Rapaka Vara Prasad to oppose the bill in the assembly. Caring nothing about Pawan’s order, Rapaka supported the bill.
Speaking in the assembly, Rapaka said, “These days wherever I’m going, a majority of the people are in favour of ‘Three Capitals.’ Whatever I’m saying is also the people’s opinion, not that of individual opinion. Like Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna said that he is not worried about his political development and wants state all-round development, I too want the same. I congratulated CM YS Jagan and whole-heartedly support the bill.”
With Rapaka’s clear cut statement in support of ‘Three Capitals’, the only Jana Sena MLA has crossed the party’s line. Will Pawan Kalyan take any action on Rapaka at least now?
India’s richest 1% holds over 40% of national wealth
Mumbai: A recent report on Monday showed that India’s richest 1 per cent of the population hold 42.5 per cent of national wealth while the bottom 50 per cent, the majority of the population, owns a mere 2.8 per cent.
According to an Oxfam report, India’s top 10 per cent of the population holds 74.3 per cent of the total national wealth while the bottom 90 percent holds 25.7 percent of national wealth.
The report said that the number of billionaires since the global financial crisis has nearly doubled with a new billionaire created every two days.
“Over the last year, the total wealth of India has increased by US$ 625.5 billion. The wealth of the top 1 per cent increased by 46 per cent while the bottom 50 per cent saw wealth increase at just 3 per cent.,” the report said.
Analysis of billionaire wealth showed that there are 15 billionaires from the consumer goods industry and more than 10 billionaires from the pharmaceuticals industry in 2019.
Another figure that shows growing inequality in the country is that the wealth of top 9 billionaires is equivalent to the wealth of the bottom 50 per cent of the population.
Persistent inequality has negative implications for macroeconomic stability and inclusive economic growth. Wealth concentrations can lead to decision-making power being restricted to a few while also resulting in significant adverse social impacts such as rising crime, the report noted.
“Rising inequality also compromises the pace of poverty reduction and compounds inequalities between various social groups such as men and women in terms of access to health, education, and opportunities,” it said.
According to the report, it would take a female domestic worker 22,277 years to earn what a top CEO of a technology company makes in one year. With earnings pegged at Rs 106 per second, a tech CEO would make more in 10 minutes than what an average domestic worker would make in one year.

Nabha Natesh Demanding 80 Lakh?
If rumours are anything to go by, iSmart Shankar actress Nabha Natesh is demanding huge pay. According to industry sources, Nabha is reportedly demanding a whopping Rs 80 Lakh as her fee for her forthcoming films. Given her high remuneration demand, many producers and directors having second thoughts of roping her on board.
Nabha is cast opposite Ravi Teja in Disco Raja. Though Payal Rajput is also there, she is doing a de-glam role. So, Nabha is pinning high hopes on Disco Raja and hoping that the film would overturn her fate and take her into top league. No doubt, there is nothing wrong in having high hopes. But one should also be equally practical. Other than Puri Jagannadh’s iSmart Shankar, she has no other major success.Seeking nearly 1 Crore as fee at very early of her career is certainly not going down well with producers, directors.
What’s more? She is reportedly saying no to act opposite young heroes. She wants to only cast opposite big stars. These demands of Nabha are drawing criticism from industry folks. Let’s wait and see, what is in store for Disco Raja.
Cheppam, Gelicham, Kottam – Thaman’s Satire On Whom?
SS Thaman has delivered a spectacular music album for Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and the numbers – Samajavaragamana, Ramuloo Ramulaa, Butta Bomma, Oh My God Daddy have topped the charts and made music lovers go berserk with the audio.
Amidst this Thaman has made an interesting speech at Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo success celebration at Vizag the other day. He has heaped praises on Trivikram and Allu Arjun and gave them full credit for the success of music. He said Trivikram is the soldier who is protecting Telugu language and culture. Thaman went onto praise lyric writers Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry, Ramajogayya Sastry, Kalyan Chakravarthy, Kasarla Shyam and etc. He has praised producers Chinna Babu and Allu Aravind for believing in him so much and standing beside him like a solid rock. He said over 300 musicians and families who worked for Ala music album are very happy today.
All is well with Thaman’s speech until he has thrown a satire/jibe. He said the film demanded “Nijayamayina” Music and which he and his team have given. He said the film asks them to talk only “Nijam” (Truth) and only asks them to talk about true collections of the film. Thaman reiterated that they are only announcing true Box Office collections of the film. “Cheppam, Gelicham, Kottam Eeroju. We Won’t Stop,” said Thaman.
Now, netizens and twitterati are indulging in a debate over Thaman’s final words in his speech which appear to be a satire at the competition. Let’s see what would be the counter from the other team now.
Tarak’s funny banter with a photographer at the airport!
Celebrities are under public scrutiny in each step of their life. Wherever they go, the paparazzi follows them and there are some media organisations who employ photographers just to get celebrity clicks at the airport.
After completing his ad shoot in Mumbai, NTR flew down to Hyderabad along with his staff and a photographer tried to take pictures of him even at that odd hour. Usually, celebrities ignore them and move into their car quickly but NTR proves to be different from the rest. He asked the photographer to come near him and had a funny chat with him. Tarak asked him sarcastically, “Do you live here? Food, bath and everything, here?” After speaking to him, he left in the place in his vehicle. Tarak’s friendly banter with him will definitely bring a smile on your face.
On the work front, he is playing the role of Komaram Bheem in Rajamouli’s ambitious ‘RRR’. This is one of the biggest films in Tollywood and the entire industry is waiting for this flick. After that, he will be teaming up his ‘Aravinda Sametha’ director Trivikram for a light-hearted entertainer.
