Deverakonda keeps his promise to Stylish star
It is a well-known fact for Telugites that our ‘Stylish Star’ Allu Arjun’s style makes him supremely the most well-dressed actors in the South. On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda’s fashion sense something beyond our imagination as the actor plays with colours, patterns and volumes. Moreover, these two handsome hunks also share a good rapport. With Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikuntapurramlo releasing tomorrow, fans are pretty exciting and going berserk over the grand release.
Amid the anticipation, Vijay Deverakonda presents a few shirts from his label ‘Rowdy’ and Allu Arjun shared the pictures of his gift on his Twitter. It is learnt that Vijay has gifted custom-made rowdy shirts to the Stylish star and wished him good luck for AVPL. “THANK YOU VERY MUCH MY DEAR BROTHER VIJAY @TheDeverakonda . VERY SWEET GESTURE. AS PROMISED U SENT ME CLOTHES . YOU WILL BE SEEING ME WITH IT DURING #AVPL CELEBRATIONS #ROWDY #Manofwords,” tweets Allu Arjun.
To this Vijay replied with – “Stylish Star x ROWDY Wishing you a Rowdy good time and Blockbuster Success Bunny Anna.. Can’t wait to see how this custom made pullover looks on you and look forward to #AlaVaikunthapurramuloo tomorrow”. The conversation that these two gorgeous lads had on Twitter made Allu Arjun promises that he would be wearing one of these shirts on AVPL success celebrations. How exciting is that?!
Arjun and Vijay are one of the good friends in TFI and just a few days ago, the former also praised that he would never be able to do Arjun Reddy like Vijay. Directed by ace filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas and Music by Thaman S, AVPL is all set to release tomorrow.

The songs of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ have gone viral. But music director Thaman says Trivikram’s ideas were the reason for the best output. However, Trivikram has given all the credit to music director Thaman for success.
Actor Rahul Ramakrishna has also pitched in between their conversation and informed that each song has been designed by one particular theme.
Trivikram has also given clarity on the rumors that he wrote the first four lines in the song “Samajavaragamana”. Except for the hook (first word), it is entirely written by Seetharama Sastry Garu, Trivikram said.
Thaman revealed that the toughest composition was “Ramulo Ramulaa”.
“There was no scope for a mass number in the film but people expect a mass number from us. Hence we have designed a song that can be groovy as well as a melodious. Being a music programmer myself, I could achieve it,” Thaman revealed.
Coming to the performance of Allu Arjun, Trivikram said he wanted the performances to be natural.
“In commercial films, the expressions of actors have become over the top. I wanted to bring a certain real-like feel. Rahul Ramakrishna has started his career very recently, so he was not corrupted by the commercial moviemaking yet. Navdeep is still as frivolous as he was at the beginning. So, I asked Bunny to try to match the natural shelf of these actors and it would become a natural performance,” Trivikram revealed.
YSRC MLA Calls Naidu As B****rd
The abusive language in Andhra Pradesh politics seems to be crossing all limits with leaders belonging to different political parties hurling choicest and vulgar abuses at one another, giving a damn for decency in public life.
On Saturday, YSR Congress party legislator from Kakinada City Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy kicked up a storm by hurling choicest abuses at Telugu Desam Party president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
He also targeted Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, using foul language, for making a big issue out of Amaravati farmers’ agitation.
Stating that Naidu had taken up ‘bus yatra’ to protect the interests of his “benamis,” Dwarampudi suddenly raised his voice and said: “I feel like calling him La… Koduka (b…rd) and Vedhava Kaanaa (Stupid fellow),” much to the surprise of the people who attended his rally in Kakinada.
Even a woman leader standing beside him on the open-top van was found covering her mouth with her hand while Dwarampudi was abusing Naidu.
He said the people had taught a big lesson to Chandrababu Naidu in the last assembly elections.
“If that old jackal should not get up again, we should all work together strongly and defeat the TDP in the local body elections,” he said.
Dwarampudi said the party leaders and cadre should explain the people about the “vedhava panulu” (stupid action) of Naidu to the people.
“We should also teach a fitting lesson to Naidu’s son Pappu Lokesh and see that his fat is burnt,” he said.
On Pawan Kalyan, he said the power star was a package star.
“You follow the footsteps of Naidu. Are you a leader at all? Pawan Kalyan is a Donga Na Koduku (a big thief) and he only does “Lanja panulu” (deeds of a prostitute),” he said.
Stating that that the government should expose the benamis in Amaravati, Dwarampudi demanded that Chandrababu Naidu, Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan should be thrown behind the bars immediately.
“The chief minister should take steps for immediate shifting of capital to Visakhapatnam,” he appealed.
Malladi Vishnu To Head Brahmin Corporation
After a long wait of over seven months, senior YSR Congress party leader and MLA Malladi Vishnu is going to be nominated as the chairman of Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation.
According to sources, orders to this effect would be issued shortly. Though there is nothing much for Vishnu to do in the capacity of Brahmin Welfare Corporation, it is definitely some recognition for his loyalty to the party.
Vishnu, who won the last assembly elections from Vijayawada Central assembly constituency over Telugu Desam Party candidate Bonda Umamaheshwar Rao with a slender margin of 15 votes, was hoping to get a berth in the Jagan Mohan Reddy cabinet in the Brahmin quota.
There are only two Brahmin legislators elected on the YSRC ticket out of 151 MLAs – Malladi Vishnu and Kona Raghupathi. Since both are strong loyalists of the party, Jagan had a tough task in selecting either of them for inducting into the cabinet.
Since Vishnu is a senior of the two with long association with Jagan’s father late chief minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and is also believed to have taken care of YSR’s personal interests in Vijayawada, he expected that Jagan would take him into the cabinet.
There was also a talk that Jagan would make Malladi Vishnu the Speaker of the state assembly and take Raghupathi into the cabinet. But he avoided both.
He made Raghupathi as the deputy speaker of the assembly and kept Vishnu’s request in pending. Now, he has honoured Vishnu with the post of Brahmin Corporation chairman.
Local polls: Pawan to join hands with TDP?
If the reports emerging from Jana Sena Party camp are to be believed, the party is likely to have an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party in the forthcoming local body elections in Andhra Pradesh.
A decision to this effect is understood to have been taken at a meeting of senior leaders convened by actor and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan.
Many leaders reportedly suggested to him that it would be better to have an alliance with the TDP rather than going alone, so as to give a tough fight to YSR Congress party.
They brought to his notice that YSRC could get more seats in the last assembly elections only because YSRC and Jana Sena had fought separately. They also told him that there was no point in entering into an alliance with the BJP as it hardly had any presence in the rural areas.
“We have to win considerable number of seats in the local body elections to retain our political identity. If we don’t do that the party would gradually lose its recognition among the people and nobody would take us seriously,” they reportedly told him.
Though Pawan did not immediately react to their suggestions, he gave them a patient hearing and said he would take a call at the earliest.
The state high court recently gave the approval for the conduct of elections to mandal parishad, zilla parishad and gram panchayat elections.
The State Election Commission will issue a notification for ZPTC and MPTC elections by January 17.
The elections will be held on February 8 and the results will be announced on February 10. The Mandal Parishad president and Zilla Parishad chairman would be elected by February 15.
Likewise, the notification for the panchayat election would be issued on February 8 and the election process would be completed by March 3.
‘Deepika can go wherever she wants to go,’ Kangana

Yesterday, Kangana was invited to Hyderabad by the FICCI Ladies organisation as part of their theme for the year – “Reframing Women Empowerment”. And during her interaction with media, the actress was asked about Deepika’s recent issue in the press conference. She replied she extend support to the actress and it is a fundamental right of Deepika to go wherever she wants to go. “It is her democratic right. She knows what is best for her,” she said.
She added, “There are two sides to the story. It is a gang war between two student groups. Let’s not give political colour to it and make it a national issue.” However, the actress comparing JNU issue with gang wars has triggered outrage. On the other hand, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel called Deepika’s visit to JNU as a move of publicity and just a part of her film’s promotions.
#AA20 Making: Sukumar’s interesting set up
Director Sukumar and Stylish star Allu Arjun are collaborating for the third time. This film had completed a single schedule and we have glimpses of it.
Marking the birthday of director Sukumar, producers of #AA20 have unveiled a short making video. On the backdrop of waterfalls, rocky places and full of greenery, the shoot commenced and Sukumar is full busy with scouting the best places to capture the visuals, explaining things to his cinematographer, action choreographer.
Touted to be based on the backdrop of red sanders smuggling, this film is likely to have more of the above mentioned premise. Allu Arjun will sport a new look with beard and long hair. Currently busy with ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ promotions, Bunny will resume shooting for the film later this month.
Rashmika Mandanna has been roped to play the female lead and it will be Devi Sri Prasad who heads the music.
Jersey hero gets 13 stitches to lower lip
We are not talking about Telugu ‘Jersey’ hero here but about the Bollywood one. Shahid Kapoor will feature in the Hindi version of ‘Jersey’ and for the last one month or so, he is intensively getting trained in cricket. However, it is taking a toll on him and now he got injured.
According to the national media, Shahid was shooting for the film at a stadium in Mohali and the ball unexpectedly hit his lower lip. The blood started flowing and Shahid immediately rushed to hospital. The injury was deep cut and so the doctors have sutured with 13 stitches. But the doctors confirm that he is fine and nothing to worry.
Getting to know about the injury, Shahid’s wife Mira Rajput reached the hospital to take care of him. Meanwhile the ‘Jersey’ team is hopeful that Shahid will be back on the sets in another four to five days.
‘Jersey’ is being directed by Gautam and is slated for August 28th, 2020 release.
