These Two Remakes Failing To Find Heroes
For some reason, Telugu heroes want everything in a movie. For example, if we take other day’s release “90ML”, the film would have been interesting if the director (and hero) stuck to the concept. But they want introduction scene, item song, fights and everything, and the film failed to impress for the very same reasons.
This type of mindset is there almost in all of the star heroes as well though occasionally they do movies that have something different. The latest buzz is that the remakes of Bollywood hits like Badai Ho and Andhadhun are actually struggling to find Telugu heroes.
Though Nithin acquired the rights of Andhadhun quite passionately, he’s not daring to take up the lead man’s role for obvious reasons. The hero should act blind, he will have no fights and songs. And now Nithin’s father who owns the rights is said to be trying to get the likes of Naga Chaitanya or Raj Tarun to do the lead role. Same is the case with Badhai Ho remake also.
A leading production house acquired Badhai Ho rights, but as the protagonist of that film has to compete with his father character (who makes his wife pregnant at 50 years of age), none of the heroes are said to be coming forward to do it.
Like Puri Jagan aptly said in Pokiri movie, only films like “Kadapa King” will run and our heroes love to do such subjects.
Bigg Boss Talk: Rahul-Sreemukhi night party
The Telugu Bigg Boss S3 went well as expected with exciting content for the viewers but the after-effects of the relationships and bondings in housemates raised concerns among ardent fans of the show. The winner of the show, Rahul Siplingunj and runner up Sreemukhi had the challenging time and hostile bonding all the while.
In fact, after completing the show, Rahul even gave a statement that Sreemukhi is not taking his calls and she is staying isolated from all other contestants as she is upset about not winning the show. But, the latest picture posted by Rahul on his Instagram gave a big relief to the fans. At last, the duo had partied hard together with good food and dance moves, leaving netizens happy.
The picture shows Rahul and Sreemukhi taking a selfie with big smiles and Sreemukhi reposted the picture on her timeline as well. She captioned the pic as “Gatham Gathaha! Asalu relationship ipudu modalaindi!”. Another video, posted by Vithika, shows Rahul, Sreemukhi, Vithika, and Varun dancing their hearts out. Sreemukhi, who gave strong statements in the house like she will nominate Rahul every single week and even after going out of the house, is not interested to have any friendship with him, is now seen celebrating the reunion.

Fans who were upset with Sreemukhi before for her childish like attitude, are now happy to see her changing for good. It’s been more than a month the show ended and though Sreemukhi took a long time to mingle with her housemates, it is still laudable for her gesture today.
Burnt Alive: 23-Year-Old Unnao Rape Victim Dies
After battling for life for almost 40 hours, the 23-year-old Unnao rape survivor breathed her last on Friday night. She was burnt alive by the rape accused on Thursday and she suffered from 90 percent burns. She succumbed to her injuries on Friday night at Safdarjung hospital in Delhi.
The victim had been on ventilator and she suffered cardiac arrest at 11.10 pm and finally died at 11.40 pm. The two rape accused Shivam Trivedi and Shubham, who allegedly raped the victim last year December, had attacked the victim on Thursday while she was on her way to a local court in Raibareli of Uttar Pradesh to testify against the criminals.
In a brutal manner, the victim was attacked, stabbed and then finally burnt alive with kerosene in broad daylight. Immediately, the victim was rushed to Lucknow’s Civil Hospital at around 10.30 am on Thursday and she was airlifted to Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital in the evening for better treatment where she succumbed to her injuries on Friday night.

After a gap of nearly 3-4 years, finally, Singer Suchitra, the one who has enthralled Telugu audiences with the song ‘Saar ostara’ (Businessman movie), is back to the media glare. Earlier due to #SuchiLeaks tweets, she got nationwide attention as the tweets from her handle threatened to expose the sexual links between some actors and actresses.
Recently when her sister filed a missing complaint on her, she’s back to the talk, as she says, “I’m not missing, but my sister is cunning”. Saying that her sister wanted her sing badly over a document and hence the drama, Sucharita feigned ignorance about how #SuchiLeaks has happened. She stated that someone intentionally did such things, as she doesn’t know about any video or photos of celebs like Danush, Trisha, Anirudh or anyone as tweets posted on her timeline accused of having illicit relationships.
So where is Suchi all these days? “Firstly the social media scandal affected me big time, and later my divorce from Karthik (comedian/actor) added to it. To beat the depression, I’ve gone to the UK to do a French cooking course and soon I’m starting a Youtube channel ‘Suchi Cooks’ where I teach cooking international dishes in Tamil” she avers.
Apart from #SuchiCooks, Suchitra will be back to singing as well, as she’s readying some singles that will be released soon.
Disaster Debut Of Comedian
One by one, comedian Srinivas Reddy is fulfilling things from his wishlist it seems. After turning into hero that ended up as a bad experience overall, Srinivas Reddy has donned director’s hat for a ‘comedy’ film Bhagyanagara Veedhullo Gammathu. It is a futile and tad boring. He has chosen a wafer-thin plot for his directorial debut. It is further destroyed by lazily written scenes, badly narrated and directed scenes. The slapstick humour has failed to evoke laughs at any given point of time.
Poor production values, bad humour mar this film that has an assembly of comedians such as Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Praveen, Chitram Sreenu, Dhanraj, Satyam Rajesh, Shakalaka Shankar, Chammak Chandra, Naveen and etc.
Had Srinivas Reddy lift some Jabardasth scenes and imbibed into the film, it would had been a little better as audience would at least laugh at some point or the other. However, the Bathuku Jatakabandi and Rasagulla episodes are the only saving grace for the film which provide little relief to audience.Otherwise, Bhagyanagara Veedhullo Gammathu is outrightly poor attempt. As it is being publicized as “Manchi Rasagulla Lanti Cinema”, it can be called as bad and bitter Rasagulla offered by Srinivas Reddy. It is better to stay away from this head-ache.
Interesting Story: Akshay Kumar Applies For Indian Passport
The constant criticism around Superstar Akshay Kumar holding a Canadian passport is known to everyone. Recently when he didn’t go to the polling booth to cast his vote in the general election it has come out that he holds Canadian citizenship and that’s the reason why he didn’t vote.
This discussion led to netizens accusing Akshay of hypocrisy as he preaches about nationalism and patriotism in his films but actually gave up Indian citizenship. Since then, Akshay tried to answer the question whenever possible, and recently he clarified the reason behind applying for Canada’s citizenship.
“Back then, 14 of my films flopped in a row, pushing me into thinking that my cinema career is over and I need to look for alternate businesses. A best friend of mine stays in Canada and he advised me to come over there to start a business there. Then we have applied for Canada citizenship. But it’s been seven years I’ve gone to Canada, as my fate changed after I got a hit, and there’s no looking back since then” said Akshay, at a conclave.
What is Akshay’s permanent answer to criticism? “We have all applied for Indian citizenship now, and soon I will get Indian passport” he concludes.
‘Rendu bettam debbalu’ Is Poonam Tweets About Pawan?
Actress Poonam Kaur is back in news. She has targeted Pawan Kalyan yet again, albeit indirectly. Poonam’s deleted tweet is going viral online where she indirectly referred to Pawan Kalyan’s recent comment. By mentioning ‘Rendu Bettam Debbalu’ cited by Pawan, Poonam seems to have taken an indirect attack on Pawan.
Poonam’s deleted tweet reads, “Early morning good news…Thankyou @TelanganaCMO @TelanganaDGP for #justiceforpriyankareddy. I Hope U will punish some Tollywood aka Political people who Humiliated and Cheated Somany woman’s like me…Pls Rendu bettam debbalu.”

Linking the ‘Mee Too’ with the recent Disha episode, Poonam has yet again highlighted her plight and how she was ‘cheated’ in film industry. While YCP activists are promoting Poonam’s tweets to the core, Janasena activists and social army is caught off guard. Janasena leaders have now started counter attack on YCP MP Gorantla Madhav who was accused in a rape and has been highlighted by the national media.
Preserve bodies of accused till Dec 9, orders T’gana HC
Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Friday directed authorities to preserve, till December 9, the bodies of all four accused gunned down by police near Shadnagar town during investigation into woman veterinarian’s gang-rape and murder.
The court issued the direction after an emergency hearing late Friday evening. Various human rights and women’s organisations made a representation in the office of the Chief Justice, requesting judicial intervention into what they called “extra-judicial killings” of the four accused.
The matter will come up for hearing before a bench headed by Chief Justice R. S. Chauhan on December 9.
All the four accused were killed by police in an alleged exchange of fire near Shadnagar town early Friday. Police claimed that the accused snatched weapons from police party and opened fire and in the retaliatory fire by police, all four were killed.
The bodies of the four youth were shifted to government-run hospital in Mahabubnagar, where the autopsy was done. The bodies were preserved in the hospital’s mortuary.
Advocate General B.S. Prasad informed the High Court that a team of forensic experts from Hyderabad’s Gandhi Hospital conducted the autopsy and the entire process was videographed. The court directed that the video be handed over to the Mahabubnagar district judge, who, in turn, will submit the same to the bench.
The petition, signed by as many as 15 organisations, alleged that the encounter was carried out in violation of the Supreme Court guidelines.
They sought autopsy by experts from New Delhi or from states other than Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. They also sought orders to constitute an independent court-monitored committee to examine FIRs registered in the case, records of government vehicles used by all police officers engaged in the encounter, their call details records and the preservation of evidentiary material.
The groups also demand that all police personnel who participated in the killing of four accused be immediately arrested and prosecuted. They said the investigation into this case should be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) since the Telangana Police cannot be trusted to be fair in the matter.
