#Maha Breaking: Ajith Pawar resigns as Deputy CM
In one more twist, NCP leader Ajith Pawar has resigned to his deputy Chief Minister post and gave a shock to BJP. This is an interesting turn ahead of the Assembly floor test which is scheduled tomorrow following the orders of Supreme Court.
Ajith Pawar’s resignation came after NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s wife met the former. Also media claims that MLAs supporting Ajith Pawar have changed their mind and decided to walk with the party to avoid disqualification. With MLAs not backing and Sharad Pawar’s wife meeting, Ajith has changed and resigned to the post.
However, it is yet to be known whether BJP has acknowledge about Ajith Pawar’s resignation. CM Devendra Fadnavis has called on the media at 3:30 PM and he is likely to make a statement on the support BJP has. There are also rumours that Fadnavis might also offer resignation.
BJP has issued a whip to all the MLAs and asked them to assemble at Wankhede stadium tonight. At the other end, Congress, NCP and Shiva Sena are confident that BJP will fail the floor test and their coalition government will be formed.
Pawan Kalyan On Wrong Track!
Janasena President Pawan Kalyan is one politician many looked up with awe before the 2019 elections as they thought that he will be easily winning 20-30 seats pretty easily. But the reality of it has shocked everyone as the powerful cine hero himself lost at the two places he has contested.
Since the election defeat, many are actually advising Pawan to focus on building the party, creating the cadres at the root level, creating other leaders in the party except his own face in the front row and try to build some confidence among the people. However, though Pawan is actively taking up many issues through his social media page, he is forgetting these core things.
In the recent times, we have seen how Pawan Kalyan is taking up various causes including that of a fight against the YS Jagan Reddy led AP Government regarding their stand on replacing Telugu medium in government schools with English Medium education. That’s pretty good of Pawan to stand up for mother tongue, but the fight is getting extended too long that it is not interesting anyone.
Frankly speaking, most of Telugu people are educated and most of them studied in English medium at some stage of their life if not fully from kindergarten. The Telugu ideology and thirst for mother tongue that is Pawan advocating will not be appealing to these sections because they are already well-versed with English. Maybe should give the advice to save Telugu rather continuously criticising YSRC leader for his decision, is what this section feels like.
Also when the state is moving forward to other important things including that of Amaravati issues, liquor policy and others, Pawan sticking only to the ‘Mana Nudi, Mana Nadi’ is not standing out.
#Maha Politics: After Pawar, CM Fadnavis too resigns
The political developments in Maharashtra are witnessing twists after twists. Few minutes ago Ajith Pawar resigned as deputy CM and now Devendra Fadnavis has also offered to quit from the CM post. Fadnavis called on the media and announced that he will be going to Raj Bhavan in short while and tender his resignation.
At this press meet Fadnavis criticized Shiva Sena for joining hands with Congress and Nationalistic Congress party (NCP. “In elections clear majority was given to BJP and Shiva Sena alliance. Our party got maximum 105 seats and we are the single largest party. But Shiva Sena wants the CM chair and so they are teaming up with parties like Congress and NCP,” said Fadnavis.
He then added that the government of Shiva Sena, Congress and NCP will be an unstable one and will not last long because there will big differences among them. BJP will work as an effective opposition and try to raise the voice of people.
Jagan Houses Repair: 1.2 Cr For Tadepalli, 35 Lakh For Hyd House
After splurging close to Rs 15 crore on Tadeplli residence, CM Jagan has sanctioned another Rs 1.2 crore to it towards its annual maintenance. AP state government has issued a GO No. 307 towards this. And another report says, Rs 35.5 Lakh has been sanctioned (GO No. 306) from public exchequer towards the electrical and electromechanical works and to install CCTVs at Jagan’s Hyderabad residence at Lotus Pond in Banjara Hills. This is to strengthen the security at Hyderabad residence.
Earlier, at Tadepalli residence, the state government laid a road for Rs 5 crore, the bill for electrical works came to a staggering Rs 3.6 crore. Another Rs 1.89 crore was reportedly spent to build a helipad and other security arrangements. And Rs 3.25 crore was said to be spent to acquire extra land for construction of view cutter. And special aluminium doors and windows worth Rs 73 lakh have been installed at the home-cum-office in Tadepalli (GO No 259).
While CM Jagan has been asking officials to cut down the expenses on construction of projects, buildings in capital region citing the financial position of the state, splurging on the repairs of his houses are drawing huge criticism from Opposition leaders and common people. Will CM Jagan cut down the expenses on his houses first before asking others? That’s the moot question.
Vamsi meets CM YS Jagan? What’s up!
Rebel TDP leader and Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has met AP CM YS Jagan at the latter’s camp office in Tadepalli. Civil supplies minister Kodali Nani accompanied Vamsi in the meeting with Jagan.
Very recently the government has announced the schedule of winter sessions and ahead of it Vamsi meeting Jagan garnered importance. Vamsi has quit TDP but not the MLA post and declared his support to Jagan and YSRCP government openly.
As per CM Jagan’s policy any MLA who wants to come into YSRCP should resign. We hear that Vamsi is not ready even though he is claiming that he is ready to resign and call for by-poll. How to go on with it is what the three have reportedly discussed in this meeting.
Post meeting Jagan, Vamsi left the place without talking to the media, so no detail of the meeting is known to anyone.
80s: Sr Actor disappointed for not being invited by Chiru
Class of 80’s hosted by Megastar Chiranjeevi, went on as expected with a full-on entertainment and amusement. As reported earlier, almost all the superstars of 1980s were present at Chiru’s newly renovated and awesomely decorated residence in Hyderabad. We saw bigwigs like Victory Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Jagapathi Babu, Ramesh Aravind, Suman, Jayaram, Khushbu Sundar, Jackie Shroff, Ambika, Menaka, Radha and a few others from Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam film industries.
The fans were excited to see their favourite celebrities pictures all over on the internet too. But, the famous actor and director Prathap Pothen expressed his disappointment and dissatisfaction in not receiving any invitation for the reunion. Stating that Megastar Chiranjeevi failed to invite him for the party, he updated it on his Facebook timeline – “I’m a Persona Non Grata with the 80’s stars nayybe i am a bad actor and director …so they didnt invite me to their get together i am sad 🙁 what can one say ….only that my career in films ment nothing ….well some may like you some hate you …but life goess on.”
His friends and fans on Facebook commented on the post saying that he is a beloved actor and the world cannot take his talent. One user wrote, “You are of a different class than them”. Pratap Pothen was a famous actor in Tamil, Telugu films and he was seen in Aakali Rajyam and Chukkallo Chandrudu to name a few in Telugu. He also directed quite a few films in Telugu.
While celebrities like Radhika and Mohanlal, who attended the reunion posted their joyous experience at the gathering on their Twitter handles, Pratap Pothen expressed his disappointment. He also later satirically posted a video update of him with a caption “I was sleeping in the 80s”.
Class Of 2000s: Why These Actors Are Not Meeting?
Bollywood’s former heroine Poonam Dhillon who has attended the “Class Of 80s” reunion party hosted by Megastar Chiranjeevi other day has revealed to Hindi media that she enjoyed the superstar’s hospitality. And then she revealed that Ram Charan has wondered by looking at all of them if their generation could ever meet like that.
Well, that brings us to the question, why is the “Class Of 2000s” not meeting up like the way heroes and heroines from other industry meet up? Especially the likes of Allu Arjun, Charan and Prabhas who have debuted in the 2000s could easily catch up provided with the chemistry they have. Though seniors, Jr NTR and Mahesh are also those fun-loving guys who would like to party always. On that note, imagine how these heroes catch up and hang out like their predecessors.
Sometime back, Allu Arjun was said to have hosted a special meet of young heroes and heroines at his farmhouse in the outskirts of Hyderabad. But later, no such meeting got continued and our heroes started to live in their individual glass palaces without mingling with others. At least the likes of Charan-NTR-Mahesh who party together, should think of such ‘reunion’ stuff, as that will promote more harmony in the film industry amidst this huge competition.
Rare Honour For Chandrababu Naidu On Telugu Screen
Only after a politician retires, most of the times biopics and biographies of them come out. But in the present times, we are seeing films on PM Narendra Modi very much when they are in power. And similar there are films on former AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu too.
Well, not exactly any biopic on Chandrababu, but actually some of the films in the recent times have this President of Telugu Desam party portrayed big way. Be it Ram Gopal Varma’s Vangaveeti, Lakshmi’s NTR and now Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu or Balakrishna’s NTR biopics, the role of Chandrababu is always being seen. While the likes of Rana Daggubati played it with the original name, Varma is simply disguising with names but making sure that the looks of Naidu are matched.
Forget about the good/bad/ugly of the portrayals, but Chandrababu gets the unique distinction of being featured in Telugu films by 4-5 actors in a short span. Not even any freedom fighter or a big world leader got such an honour, but Naidu is enjoying the popularity. That’s a rare honour we must say.
Now, Nagababu comes up with Jabardasth Serial
One video message is enough to explain why he’s out of “Jabardasth” TV show, but then mega brother Nagababu wants to give that ‘TV serial’ experience to his fans it seems like.
Other day, the second video of Nagababu’s explanation regarding quitting Jabarasth show has come out. At the end of the video, it is indicated that the third part of the video will be uploaded very soon. It seems like he’s making a serial out of his Jabardasth journey by revealing so many videos over the same thing.
Firstly it might be an act to put up more videos on YouTube, such that his fans will get entertained day by day, and secondly, he wants to share the thing until his next program clicks as that will keep him in the news. Other than that, there appears no strong need to make so many explanatory videos concerning his exit.
Coming to the second videos, Nagababu explained that he went to Jabardasth due to Manager Edukondalu, but not due to a call from Syam Prasad Reddy. “I’m already judging Adhurs show, and Edukondalu took me for Jabardasth. They planned this comedy show for 25 episodes, but it continued for years due to high success rate” he says.
Samantha Hates Arjun Reddy But Loves That Pshycho?
Recently in a paper interview when Malayalam heroine Parvathy has once again criticised that ‘Arjun Reddy’ is not the film she would endorse, there is an interesting discussion going on how actresses change their views and thoughts basing on their own likes and wants, but not for the sake of society.
Apparently some interesting comparisons between Samantha’s comments on films like Arjun Reddy and Joker are going. While Samantha called Arjun Reddy as a sick film with the protagonist slapping the heroine, she praised ‘Joker’ as the greatest movie ever watched. Guess what, if Arjun Reddy is sick, then Joker is actually the baap of all this psychotic stuff.
Joker tells the story of a man who is rejected by the society for his inabilities and then takes a gun to kill whoever comes in his way. A netizen apparently questioned, how come Samantha will endorse a sick movie like Joker that encourages more and more sick people to take up arms but then takes dig at Arjun Reddy?
Well, the only answer for this is, every person responds to certain things basing on their own likes, needs, wants and choices.
