Chandrababu, Nee Amma Mogudidha Tirupati? – Kodali Nani

Share

Even before TDP is yet to come to terms with the abuses hurled by Vallabhaneni Vamsi, now it is the turn of minister Kodali Nani. Nani went onto abuse Chandrababu Naidu saying, “Nee Amma Mogudu Kattinchada…Tirupati Gudi (Temple) ?” These comments have been made in the context of Chandrababu’s comments on Jagan’s Tirumala visit. While Chandrababu had questioned whether Jagan has given declaration at Tirumala since he is christian and he reminded that even the likes of Abdul Kalam had given declaration, Kodali Nani claimed that Jagan doesn’t need to follow this custom.

Talking about CM Jagan’s religious believes and his reluctance to sign declaration at Tirupati, Kodali Nani said CM Jagan doesn’t have any caste or creed and maintained that all the people of the state are equal to him. Responding to Naidu’s allegation on Jagan, Nani said Jagan’s religion need not be explained to anyone as it is his personal and it has nothing to do with politics. Whereas, Nani said Jagan doesn’t even need to respond to every Tom, Dick and Harry. Nani went onto attack Chandrababu personally.

Interestingly, Nani also blasted Pawan Kalyan. Describing Pawan Kalyan as the “hidden” partner of Chandrababu, Nani said that Pawan would exactly make same statements as TDP within hours of gap. Questioning Pawan’s authority as Janasena Party president, Nani said CM Jagan doesn’t even need to respond to Pawan Kalyan who himself had lost in both the seats (Gajuwaka, Bhimavaram) he had contested.

Kodali Nani’s personal comments on Chandrababu have become hot topic in TDP circles. This is just hours after Vamsi’s attack on Naidu.

Earlier Shruti has dated hero Siddharth and later she’s said to be seeing a married Bollywood star. All the times, she never opened up any affair publicly.

What Is Stopping Samantha From Signing New Film?

Finally, the shooting of 96 movie got wrapped and Samantha is completely in rest mode enjoy time with her dog Hash Akkineni and spending those lazy Sundays with husband Naga Chaitanya. But then, why is the actress not signing any new movie though there are many options in front of her is the big question lingering in the minds of fans now.

Buzz has that Samantha is taking time to sign a new project due to some schedule conflicts. Actually she is shooting for her web debut ‘The Family Man 2’ in various parts of the country right now. As she is said to be playing the role of a Hyderabad based terrorist in the movie, her role requires a lot of preparation when it comes to both dialogues as well as action sequences.

Mastering the Hyderabadi Hindi slang on one side and getting trained in various martial arts to get that fitness on the other side, Samantha is super busy they say. And the schedules of this Amazon Prime web series are a bit wavering, as they have to plan basing on combination dates of many actors and actresses. For that reason, the actress wants to wait until the shooting of ‘The Family Man 2’ gets wrapped.

On the other hand, Samantha is entertaining her fans through social media regularly with some hot pics, posts and quotes.

TDP Brothers ready to say Bye Bye Babu

KE brothers had played significant role in Kurnool district TDP. KE Krishnamurthy, who had served as Deputy CM and withheld crucial portfolios like Revenue, Stamps & Registration, and his brother and former minister, ex MLA KE Prathap, who served as MLC in previous government and also served as the Chairman of state irrigation development corporation (IDC) in previous TDP regime, are all set to quit TDP now. The next move of KE brothers is expected as the duo is going to join ruling YCP.

As per sources, KE brothers would be joining YCP on Nov 29th in the presence of CM Jagan Mohan Reddy. As KE brothers belong to backward community, their entry into YCP is welcomed by Jagan. With KE brothers joining, YCP is expected to become further stronger in the district.

In 2019 general election, Then Deputy CM (Revenue) KE Krishnamurthy hadn’t contested. Instead of him, KE’s son KE Shyam Kumar had contested from Pattikonda and lost with a margin of 34,804 votes. Even former Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya had lost in Allagadda with margin of 32,933 votes.

YCP has swept Kurnool district in 2019 polls where it has won all the seats in the districts making TDP’s representation zero in the district. All the 14 Assembly constituencies and the two Lok Sabha seats were won by YCP candidates.

Not Learnt From Mistakes?

Share

Sundeep Kishan seems to have learnt nothing from his past mistakes. His choice of scripts is proved bad yet again with his latest offering Tenali Ramakrishna BA.BL. The very role of Tenali Ramakrishna isn’t suitable to Sundeep in the first place. He is misfit for the film.

Most importantly, Sundeep’s eagerness to become a mass hero has backfired with Tenali. The over-the-top heroism and high-octane fight scenes don’t suit Sundeep. He is more fit for underdog roles or boy-next-door roles. In emotional scenes too, Sundeep does good job. Whereas, in Tenali Ramakrishna, Sundeep is out of the place.

Tenali Ramakrishna is bogged down by poor humour, dated story and lackluster narration. The prevailing political satires alone can’t save this story which is as old as hills. Director Nageshwar Reddy who is out of form has delivered a mediocre film where Sundeep’s efforts have been wasted.

At the start of his career, Sundeep had earned critical acclaim for his performance with films like Prasthanam and Gundello Godari. Romantic entertainers like Venkatadari Express too have worked for him. However, he has distanced from these realistic films and tried his hand at commercial and mass cinema. It is high time, he should work upon the stories and scripts before opting for shoot. Else, Sundeep would have to pay hefty price for his choice.

Brand Ambassadors For Boothus

The abusive comments of minister Kodali Nani against former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu have come as a great shock. Kodali Nani stooped so low by targeting Naidu’s late father and mother. Using the words like ‘Ne Amma Mogudu’ publicly in front of media, Kodali went onto blast senior politician Chandrababu with offensive comments.

The other day, Vallabhaneni Vamsi too made similar Boothu comments on Nara Lokesh calling Lokesh as ‘Bal Bachcha’, ‘Pappu’ and throughout referred to him as ‘Vaadu’ and Vamsi’s boothu comments in live TV debate on Rajendra Prasad have hit new low. Both Vamsi and Kodali Nani have abused the leaders who are much elder to them in age. Interestingly, Nani also blasted Pawan Kalyan now. Describing Pawan Kalyan as “hidden” partner of TDP, Nani said that Pawan would exactly make same statements as TDP within hours of gap.

In democracy, criticism should be constructive and objective whereas our YCP leaders and its supporters are resorting to personally abusive, profane comments.

YCP leaders Kodali Nani and soon-to-be-joining YCP leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi have spit venom against Chandrababu. Nani has referred Naidu as ‘Vaadu’. At least, Nani should respect Chandrababu for his age. While YSR and Chandrababu were arch rivals in politics, YSR had never allowed his party leaders to abuse Opposition leader like this.

It is high time, CM Jagan should pass strict warning to his cabinet colleagues and MLAs to control the tongue. This is not just bring down impression on politicians as whole, it will also affect the image of YCP in public perspective. It is better the ministers should work on the people problems instead of targeting Opposition leaders.

LVS vows not to return to Andhra again!

Share

Former chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh L V Subrahmanyam, who was shunted out of his post following his confrontation with Chief Minister’s Office recently, will not return to Andhra Pradesh again in his official capacity.

Subrahmanyam, who was transferred to an insignificant position in the AP Human Resources Development Institute, did not report to his new assignment and went on a month-long leave. He is expected to join the duties by December 6.

However, sources said Subrahmanyam had conveyed to his friends that he would not return to Andhra cadre again to do any other menial job. It would mean he would continue extending his leave period indefinitely.

In the meantime, he is trying hard for a central deputation and if he succeeds, he would go to Delhi and retire at the Centre.

But sources said the chances of Subrahmanyam getting a job at the Centre are very bleak as he has only five months left in his service.

No officer with such a short time left for retirement will be given any posting at the Centre as he would be completing his tenure even before he gets a complete understanding of the work he is assigned at the Centre.

So, Subrahmanyam has to continue his leave and make a quiet exit. But at least a day before his retirement, he has to report to the duty to see that his service is completed. Since he vowed not to return to the AP cadre again, he has to try for the central deputation.

Sadly, there is no formal send-off or farewell to Subrahmanyam in Andhra. It is a very disappointing thing for any IAS officer who has reached such a high position.

Saturation in all schemes in the new era!

Share

At a time when negative stories sell more in the mainstream media which is divided on political and caste lines, it is pleasing to see positive stories at least occasionally.

On Saturday, some of the initiatives of YSR Congress party government in Andhra Pradesh have found prominence in the front pages of all the three major Telugu dailies – Eenadu, Andhra Jyothy and Sakshi, if not on the same scale.

Sakshi, being the mouthpiece of YSRC, made Jagan’s latest scheme “YSR Navasakam” as the lead story, saying a new era has been heralded in the state under Jagan’s regime.

New rice and pension cards to all the eligible beneficiaries in villages and towns, fee reimbursement to students, zero-interest loans to all DWCRA women, Rs 10,000 each to barbers, tailors and washer men and YSR Kapu Nestam are some of the initiatives announced by Jagan.

Andhra Jyothy, too, gave Jagan’s announcement of “saturation schemes” on the top, though in a single column, while Eenadu focussed on Jagan’s Arogya Sri scheme which has been extended to all the people including those having cars.

The Andhra chief minister’s meeting with YSRC MPs was also given a lot of prominence in the major Telugu dailies.

Eenadu quoted Jagan as directing his party MPs to fight for special category status and funds for Polavaram and Sakshi carried the same story with a general headline on Jagan asking his party MPs to fight for the state’s interests in Parliament. Andhra Jyothy pushed the same to the inside pages.

Of course, Eenadu also carried the report on Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu asking his party MPs to raise the “Tughlaq” decisions of YSRC government in Parliament such as introduction of English medium in government schools and curbs on media in AP.

Ironically, the Centre has nothing do with these decisions and Naidu did not mention about fighting on state’s interests in Parliament.

Apart from these common stories, Andhra Jyothy and Sakshi have their own brand stories today. For the second successive day, Sakshi highlighted the report on IT raids on Andhra infra companies that exposed the involvement of an “important” leader during the TDP regime.

It also carried the report on the CID police confiscating the mobile phones of Blue Frog Technologies’ managing director allegedly involved in hacking of sand portal.

On the other hand, Andhra Jyothy carried a banner story on Jagan’s decision to sell the government’s lands by entering into an agreement with National Building Corporation of India.

Similarly, it also carried another report on IAS officers spending government money for their personal needs. And another report says boozers from Andhra Pradesh are going to Telangana borders to consume liquor.

Interestingly, Andhra Jyothy is the only paper that carried an anchor on Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, who started poor-feeding programme at Mangalagiri.

It quoted Pawan as saying that he was being treated as an enemy by the ruling party only because he is fighting for the solution to people’s problems.

The political developments in Maharashtra, wherein the Congress-NCP extending support to Shiv Sena to form the government is the only national news that figured prominently in all the three major dailies.

Actress Deletes Pic Wearing ‘Ram’ Printed Top

Share

Vaani Kapoor has been setting fashion standards high and her Instagram account is proof of that.

One look at her social media timeline and you can figure out that she is not one to shy away from experimenting with bold and elegant sartorial looks.

However, the actress, whose recent release War did great numbers at the box office, seemed to have deleted a picture from her Instagram in which she wears a deep neck pink crop top with a knot on the front.

The exact reason behind deleting the picture is not clear yet but online trolling could be the one. Her top had the word ‘Ram’ printed over it, and that didn’t go well with many.

SpotboyE reported that the the picture posted by Vaani last week attracted a lot of trolling on social media. The website shared how she was targeted for her choice of clothing.

Suspension From TDP, Relief For Vamsi!

Share

A day after attacking Telugu Desam Party president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and pledging loyalty to YSR Congress party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan was on Friday suspended from the TDP.

Analysts say it is a sort of blessing in disguise for Vamsi who has not officially resigned from the party yet.

If he is expelled from the party, he can continue as an MLA, without formally joining the YSR Congress party and getting disqualified.

Since he has not resigned from the TDP, but was suspended from the party, there is no objection to the YSRC to treat him as a party man though technically, he does not take the party membership.

The chief minister can also say Vamsi has not joined the YSRC and any MLA can support his government’s policies; so, it does not amount to encouraging defections.

Vamsi, who lashed out at TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu for launching one-day deeksha at Vijayawada on Thursday in protest against the failure of the government to solve the sand scarcity in the state, attacked Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh on Friday.

“Lokesh does not have a stature or experience to criticise me. He could not even win the assembly elections. A person who is surviving by taking his father’s name has no comparison with me,” he said.

He also attacked Naidu for ditching the party loyalists.

“What is there for him to suspend me? If he has guts, he should have suspended the Rajya Sabha members who changed the party. He has done nothing for me in the last five years, though I had served the party for a long time,” Vamsi alleged.

He said the TDP had never contested the polls on its own after the demise of N T Rama Rao. He said,

“The TDP is losing the confidence of the people because it frequently changes alliances,” he said.

Another Loyalist Upset With Naidu!

Share

It looks like Telugu Desam Party headed by former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is going through a tough phase, with one leader after the other deserting the party.

And even those who have been associated with the party for a quite long time, are expressing their unhappiness over the style of functioning of Naidu and his callousness towards loyalists.

On Friday, senior TDP leader and MLC Yalamanchili Babu Rajendra Prasad, who has been the spokesperson of the party for several years, is understood to have expressed unhappiness over the party leadership.

According to sources, Rajendra Prasad was upset with the silence of the TDP president for not coming to his rescue even when Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi hurled abuses at him and personally attacking him during a press conference on Thursday.

“Only on Friday evening, the party leaders have responded to Vamsi’s accusations. It clearly shows the indifferent attitude of the party towards loyalists like me,” Rajendra Prasad is understood to have told his friends.

He reportedly told his followers that he would fight a legal battle with Vamsi, if the party extended legal and financial assistance to him. Otherwise, there is no point in continuing in the party, he reportedly told them.

However, the TDP senior leaders immediately spoke to Rajendra Prasad and tried to pacify him. They asked him not to take any hasty decisions in this hour of crisis.
