Even though if there are no big films in hand, one has to stay in the limelight by keeping themselves in the news. And that is how our heroes and heroines increase their brand value. But it looks like this Arjun Reddy actress is yet to know such things.

After the super success of Arjun Reddy movie, even heroine Shalini Pandey got the critical acclaim along with Vijay Devarakonda for her portrayal of Preethi. And then, when the film got remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh, Vijay is all praises for Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, and after the release, he has sent gifts as well to them. Vijay is making sure that he talks about his director and the Hindi leads on social media.

But Shalini Pandey is neither seen endorsing the movie, nor she spoke about the release, even though Kabir Singh made 180 crores net already (from 10 days) and might touch the mighty 250 crore club in its lifetime. But still, Shalini seems to have no clue about this as she never spoke about it on her social media, where she is super active.

Many wonders why the actress is not cashing on the craze rather enjoying a holiday in the USA and sharing those bikini pictures. After Arjun Reddy, she featured in two unsuccessful Telugu films, NTR and 118, but got four Tamil films in hand now.

‘Rejection’ Sentiment In Favour Of iSmart Shankar

When this director narrated the story of Idiot to Pawan Kalyan, he rejected it. The same thing happened when he narrated Pokiri story to Ravi Teja. After those heroes rejected those stories, he worked with other heroes, and those films literally gave a might break to those heroes. While Idiot went to Raviteja, Pokiri fell in Mahesh’s lap.

Cut to present, Puri Jagan and his team are hoping that the ‘rejection’ sentiment will work in favour of the director’s latest movie iSmart Shankar as well. Actually, this story was prepared with hero Vijay Devarakonda in mind and Puri Jagan has narrated the same to him. But with Devarakonda not getting convinced, Puri took it to Ram and it worked out.

Now it has to be seen if the film will give a huge break to Puri Jagan as well as Ram Pothineni as both are in need of a hit film at the moment. And then the story was initially rejected by a happening hero like it happened for Puri earlier too. Let’s see what happens.

iSmart Shankar has wrapped the whole of its shooting and the makers have locked July 18th as the release date.

Like we see how the likes of AR Rahman go to Kadapa Dargah (sufi shrine) and Dil Raju goes to Tirupathi after scoring a hit to get his head tonsured, it looks like star heroine Samantha is also following a divine custom.

Today morning, Samantha sprang a surprise as she appeared at Tirumala hill, the abode of Lord Balaji. Along with director Nandini Reddy and other teammates, Samantha went to Tirupathi to pray to the most powerful god. Right before the release of her film “Oh Baby”, which is hitting screens this Friday, the Akkineni daughter in law took to this trip to do special poojas.

Even before her Majili movie release, Samantha went to Tirumala and scaled the sacred seven hills by foot before going for darshan the next morning. And with Majili turning out to be such a super hit in the career of #ChaySam, she is said to have taken the crew of Oh Baby to seek divine intervention again.

Meanwhile, after coming to Hyderabad, Samantha will be joining the shoot of 96 remake, says a report.

For a producer like Ram Charan (Konidela Productions) who is investing nearly 100 crores on Megastar Chiru’s Sye Raa and who is also investing another 70 crores of Koratala Siva’s film with his dad, why settling the financial thing of Uyyalawada family is a big thing?

That is the moot question anyone will ask after looking at how Uyyalwada family are protesting in front of Ram Charan’s palatial residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Some of the family members accused that mediators are not allowing them to meet Charan, though the latter has promised them of financial help earlier. A little dig into this revealed that 3-4 families, who are now calling themselves as heirs, are asking for 8 crores from the makers of #SyeRaa.

But that is not the headache bothering Ram Charan and his team. Actually Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy has 3 wives and now more than 100 members are claiming that they are his heirs. And some other family approached court that Uyyalawada was adopted by a Kapu family of the district, and the inheritance law won’t allow his extended family to become his successors. And currently, a case is being fought in Court regarding the same.

And with the court case unsolved, Ram Charan’s team is said to be confused as to whom they should offer the financial help. Because if he helps some 15-odd members now, what if the other members win the court case tomorrow?

On the other hand, with many of Uyyalawada’s family members storming the gates of Charan’s house for money, the representatives of Konidela Production House cleared that they will ask Uyyalawada family to fight against them in court. While the freedom fighter’s family demanded that Charan should give them payment for shooting at their village and using some relics left by Uyyalawada, Konidela Productions cleared that they haven’t made any such use of the said properties.

No Matter What, Bellamkonda Has To Fight

For hero Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, Kavacham and Sita are two more bad flicks in his career in recent times and he has to wait for the first blockbuster of his career to happen. And he is going to test his luck with Tamil hit film Ratchasan remake Rakshasudu.

Aiming at a solo release, it looks like this young hero’s movie is now getting confused to fix a release date. Earlier the film was set for July 19th release but the arrival of Puri Jagan and Ram’s iSmart Shankar pushed them into two minds. After much thinking, Rakshasudu makers are setting eyes on August 2nd release.

Guess what, Sharwanand and Sudheer Varma’s delayed film, which is titled Ranarangam recently, has locked eyes on 2nd of August only. For Bellamkonda, if he pushes himself to an early week, on July 26th there is Vijay Devarakonda’s Dear Comrade. And if he postpones, then on August 9th there is Manmadhudu 2. So there is all competition around, and no way to get a solo date.

On top of everything, August 15th releasing Saaho will wipe out all the chances for any film for 3 weeks easily if someone wants to come after its release. In a single line, we have to say that Bellamkonda has to fight no matter what.

Boya Community Disrupts Mega Hero’s Movie Shooting

It looks like controversy is engulfing the title of Mega hero Varun Tej’s latest movie “Valmiki”. People who hail from the Boya community, from where the writer of Ramayana, Valmiki hails from, are said to have got upset with the usage of the sage’s name as the title.

As the unit of Valmiki movie under the guidance of director Harish Shankar has gone to Anantapur for the shooting of the movie, few people from the Boya community are said to have disrupted the shooting. Though Harish Shankar is said to have clarified that they are just using the name Valmiki as a title but the story has nothing to deal with real Valmiki or his community, the protesting Boya people are said to have got hurt.

Unable to convince them and the slim chances of a smooth shooting taking place, Harish is said to have canceled the shoot and returned to Hyderabad. They will be now planning the same schedule at Chevella region, says a source.

Cut to the title Valmiki, as the film deals with the story of a goonda, who turns into a simple man that will help the society, Harish Shankar would have felt that the title is apt. According to our mythology, Valmiki is a robber who became a sage later and wrote Ramayana.
