Meeku Mathrame Cheptha has grabbed the attention of film lovers with its quirky promos. The trailer will only add to the buzz around the film produced by Vijay Deverakonda.

The film is about a leaked video of a regular guy (Tarun Bhaskar) who is about to get hitched soon. There are more than a couple of hints about what kind of video it is.

Vennela Kishore’s voiceover and the hilarious dialogue in the trailer will leave you in splits and make you wait for the film.

Tarun Bhaskar looks very impressive as the guy who is caught in a storm. The last dialogue where he says that he wants to disappear and it would be handy if there is a skip button in life like we have for YouTube videos is howlarious.

We can understand why Vijay Deverakonda has backed this idea. Directed by Shameer Sultan the film looks extremely promising with a super fun setup and relatable characters.

This trailer will surely grab more attention and bring youngsters in big numbers to the theaters. Vijay sure has a winner on hands.

Prabhas Anna should do Terminator – Vijay Deverakonda

Vijay Deverakonda has a wish for darling hero Prabhas. Vijay said he would like to see macho star Prabhas doing Terminator-like movies.

Expressing that Prabhas would be apt for Terminator-like roles, Vijay has unveiled the Telugu trailer of Arnold Schwarzenegger-starrer Terminator: Dark Fate. Vijay admitted his admiration for Arnold and his body since his childhood. He wished to see Saaho star Prabhas doing Arnold-type films in Telugu.

This is not all. Vijay appealed to Disney to take Telugu and Indian films like Saaho, Sye Raa and World Famous Lover into Hollywood like how it is bringing Hollywood films into Indian languages.

Terminator: Dark Fate is going to release on Nov 1st across India in all regional languages. It is the sixth installment in Terminator franchise and first since 1991’s classic Terminator 2 : Judgement Day. Dark Fate has story and production by James Cameroon (of Avatar fame).

‘KCR is behaving like Hitler’

Comparing KCR goverment’s reaction to RTC employees strike with ‘Hitler’s act’, the lone BJP MLA of Telangana Raja Singh has said ‘CM K Chandrasekhar Rao is acting like an Hitler, and we know what finally happened with Hitler. The state govt must take complete responsibility for the suicides of two RTC employees.’

It is known that RTC employee Srinivas Reddy killed himself in Khammam by self-immolation. And in Hyderabad, Surendar Goud, a resident of Ranigunj who’s working with RTC has also committed suicide after knowing that he was removed from the job. The BJP MLA, took to his Twitter and took a swipe at Owaisi brothers too: “Hitler KCR dismissed 50K employees from their duty & not ready to talk with #TSRTC staff and resolve the issue. Owaisi brother’s who advocate for Muslims rights are now silent on #RTC issue.”

For Bharatiya Janata Party, which is looking to brighten its prospects before the next election in Telangana, RTC strike is one appropriate opportunity to fight on KCR. While the state BJP leaders are criticising TRS boss for his inaction on RTC issue, new Telangana governor Tamilisai Soundarajan has met PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister on Tuesday in New Delhi. The political discussion is that the governor must have briefed the current political situation in Telangana to Modi.

TDP Is Confined To One Family: Sujana Chowdary

BJP leader Sujana Chowdary made strange comments against regional parties and added that only national parties can help in all-round development of the nation. AP BJP launched ‘Gandhi Sankalp Yatra’ and Sujana took part in it held in Jaggayyapet in Vijayawada.

‘If we look back at 25 years of the Telugu states, few people preferred one party and few more other parties. I made a mistake by joining a regional party and learned my mistake. So now I’m supporting a national party that has unique ideologies for the country,’ said Sujana.

Taking pot-shots at TDP, he added that NTR had different thoughts about the party but after his exit, TDP is confined to one family. On Chandrababu’s recent comments on BJP, Sujana replied that he informed Babu same when TDP was breaking the alliance with BJP. ‘There is no point in making such comments now. The time has slipped away,’ said Sujana.

On Polavaram, Sujana stated that what TDP government has done in their last term, YSRCP government is doing the same, eventually the construction is getting delayed and this will up the budget of the project.

KCR Farm House: Constable Commits Suicide

In an unfortunate incident, a police constable working inside CM KCR’s farm house at Yerravalli in Mahabubnagar district has taken extreme step.

Police constable Venkateswarulu belonging to 12th Betallion shot himself and claimed his life. The incident took place at around 11 AM today. A probe is underway. Venkateswarlu’s body has been sent to Gajwel for post-morterm report.

Venkateswarlu was a native of Valigonda village in Nalgonda district. While the reasons for Venkateswarlu’s suicide isn’t known yet, it is speculated that the alleged harassment of his higher officials could have forced him to take the extreme step. More details are awaited. Top officials in police department are tight lipped about the incident.

Meanwhile, the Telangana government is already mired in neck deep stress owing to the ongoing indefinite strike by 48,000-odd employees. The govt is yet to come to terms with the suicide of two RTC drivers who were protesting against CM KCR for not accepting their demands. While Opposition leaders are blaming KCR for the suicides of RTC drivers, the suicide of constable at his farm house may cause more headache to government.

Confused Nagarjuna Going For ‘Raid’?

Even though the talk around Gaddalakonda Ganesh aka Valmiki is quite strong in mass circuits as director Harish Shankar and hero Varun Tej weaved magic on the silver screen, somehow the collections are not as expected after the first week. This is due to only one factor and that is none other than Sye Raa.

After the release of Sye Raa, many expected that any film that is in the arena already might bite the dust. At that time, the likes of Gang Leader and Valmiki are in theatres, and Gang Leader ruled out much in advance, Valmiki had a bit of advantage. But still, after Sye Raa got blockbuster talk in Telugu states, many thought that Gaddalkonda Ganesh won’t survive the tsunami.

Being sold for 25 crores, the film Valmiki has to collect the same amount of ‘share’ in order to become a safe project. Income Tax raids are being conducted on Studio N news channel owned by Chairman Narne Srinivasa Rao. IT sleuths are conducting raids on Narne’s properties and as part of it, raids are being conducted at Studio N office in Hyderabad.

Negative Propaganda on Allu Arjun at Peaks

Negative propaganda on Allu Arjun seems to be at its peak. Like never before, there is an ongoing negative campaign widely marketed against Bunny.

The latest is that some miscreants have erected flexis against Allu Arjun in some parts of Hyderabad and thus causing great discomfort to Allu Arjun and his team. If this is an insider’s job, this will be a new low in Tollywood.

The poster reads, “Telugu audience have made him a star. Whereas, he is suppressing Telugu (mother-tongue) Cine Workers.” The slogan on the poster states, “The Unity of Telugu Cine Workers Shall Prevail & Prosper.”

Such a poster against a star like Allu Arjun is raising eyebrows. Allu Arjun’s fans are expressing their angst on such posters and stating that it is act of negative forces to “defame” their favourite star. Bunny’s fans shot back saying that such “derogatory” acts can’t effect Allu Arjun’s image and his films.

Of late, Allu Arjun had maintained distance from the stars of his own family and also developed some ‘animosity’ with other stars. This eventually hasn’t gone down well with fans of those stars.

Although Bunny doesn’t have such intention to fight with anyone, but the message/signal that has been sent out appear to be otherwise. All these seems to have projected Allu Arjun in a “wrong way” in perspective of a section of people. This is where Allu Arjun and his team need to work out to clear any such misconceptions and mispropaganda.

Meanwhile, industry bigwigs should also intervene and try their best to create healthy atmosphere among the stars and their fans in order to avoid any untoward incidents that happened like before – especially the fact that Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikantuapuram Lo and Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru are clashing at the Box Office on Jan 12, 2020.

It can be recalled that earlier there was clash between fans of Prabhas and Pawan Kalyan which turned ugly in Bhimavaram where the fan groups had burnt the flexis, hoardings and cut outs of one another and it had even turned violent. After police intervention, the situation was brought in control. So in order to prevent such issues, T-town producers and biggies should come forward voluntarily to resolve any professional rivalry.

For now, Allu Arjun’s team should maintain calm, composure and try to change the mood, perspective of a section of public.

All Offers Disappeared For ‘Gang Leader’ Girl!

One name that is ringing everywhere before the release of ‘Gang Leader’ movie is none other than Priyanka Arul Mohan, the young Kannada-Tamil beauty from Bangalore who made her debut as the leading lady opposite Nani in the film.

Before the release of the film, Priyanka’s name got associated with various films and many producers-directors are said to be thinking about casting her. But here in Tollywood, not until the heroine shows her mark in the film, an actor’s future gets decided only with the box office result of their movie. As Gang Leader went for a toss, the actress is not in discussions any more.

Though we can’t rule the actress getting further chances in Tollywood, currently no big production house or any other filmmaker is taking her name during discussions. It looks like all the offers disappeared post the release of Gang Leader, so is the actress how is not even active on her social media pages after the film’s release.

#SyeRaa Collections: Working In Telugu, Flop Everywhere

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus is running in theatres now and is making good collections, but will they be enough to make the film a super hit? While the movie is a blockbuster in terms of reception, collections-wise it might not work in all other regions than Telugu states. Here comes the breakup.

So far, Sye Raa managed to collect 100+ crores share from Telugu states, while it made another 40+ crores share from other regions including Overseas, Tamil, Kannada and up north. With the film sold for 115 crores in Telugu, and Ram Charan releasing it in most places, surely the film will leave only slight losses if any, but not a big hole in the pockets of distributors.

But in Tamilnadu, where the film got sold for 7.6 crores, it made only 1.8+ crores share till date, leaving the distributor in huge loss. Same is the case in Karnataka where the film got sold for 27 crores, both Telugu and Kannada versions, and made only 50% of it so far. While in Overseas Sye Raa incur few losses. Same is the case in Kerala, where the sales figure is 2.5 crores but recovery is just above 75 lakhs.

With Diwali arriving, all the films in Tamilnadu will be washed out to pave way for Vijay’s Bigil and Karthi’s Khaidi, so there is no chance of recovering. And in Karnataka already other releases are engulfing it while Kerala scene is already ended if trade sources are to be believed. Only in Telugu, Sye Raa has time till other big releases come up and there are no such big movies in the near sight till December, we have to say.

Simply put, the film will work out in Telugu for distributors and exhibitors but will be earning flop status in all other regions.

Mahanati actress Keerthy Suresh, who has become extremely choosy, reportedly said ‘no’ to actor Rana Daggubati’s production venture. While the reason for Keerthy’s ‘no’ is not known yet, but it hasn’t affected Rana’s production plans.

Gemini TV Leaks Balayya’s Film Title Now!

Of late, popular entertainment channel Gemini TV is staying in the news by revealing the titles and new films of popular actors which are unknown to cinema lovers till then. Recently they have revealed about Naga Chaitanya and Rashmika Mandanna’s Adhe Nuvvu Adhe Nenu movie, which is not even heard about in film circles.

Other day, Gemini TV has confirmed that they acquired the satellite rights of Balakrishna’s upcoming film “Ruler” which has Sonal Chauhan as the leading lady. Actually the makers of this KS Ravikumar directorial haven’t confirmed any title till date, though the names like Ruler, Department, Ugra Narasimha and a couple of others are doing rounds. But with Gemini TV’s revelation, it looks like “Ruler” is almost confirmed.

Though the title “Ruler” was heard earlier too, many thought that Balakrishna may use it for his upcoming film with Boyapati Sreenu, as that director has the song ‘ruler’ earlier in Jr NTR’s Dammu. But it looks like the title is used for KS Ravikumar’s film itself if Gemini TV’s revelation is anything to go by.
