Who Did Tej Aim At?
Teja is one the few film makers in Tollywood who doesn’t heap praises on star heroes to get film offers. He is very straight forward and this attitude earned him more foes than friends. He recently made some sensational remarks on some heroes while talking in Uttej’s acting school.
He praised Megastar Chiranjeevi’s dedication and humbleness and lauded Amitabh Bachchan’s enthusiasm to learn something new everyday even at this age. Adding to that, he took a dig at the young heroes saying that some of them doesn’t even come out of the caravan.
This is actually true as heroes these days finish their shot and immediately rush into their caravans without even looking at other artist’s work. Wonder who was that hero in Teja’s mind when he made these comments.
I’m Not An Alcoholic Says Shruthi Hassan
Shruthi Hassan admitted to enjoying drinking alcohol and she said that she doesn’t want to touch it for at least few years now, in a chat show.These comments got converted into her being a deadly alcoholic and recovering addict in the media. She expressed her frustration over that.
She said that she enjoys drinking like any other person these days. She remarked that even in 2019, if people can’t accept that they drink alcohol, then the false pretence will never go from our society.
She clarified that she wasn’t in depression about love affair and other things in her life. She wanted to take time off from acting and explore her other skills, so she chose to stay away from films, not because of health, she asserted.
She revealed that she felt at home in London even though she was a stranger after two to three months. She said that she enjoyed life there and will return back in December.
She did not talk about her films but said she has several singles coming up. She signed a Hindi film and is shooting for a film with Vijay Sethupathi, in Tamil.
Jagan Reveals Why He Gave Irrigation To Anil
CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was there to launch YSR Rythu Bharosa, has got a grand welcome in Nellore district, which is perceived as the bastion of YCP. Elated with thunderous reception from people, CM Jagan too turned emotional talking about the people of Nellore who gave 10 out of 10 Assembly seats and 2 out of 2 parliament seats to YCP. Jagan said that the people of the district have kept him in their hearts and made him victorious in elections and he said he doesn’t know how to thank them enough and what to do in return.
Stating that he is indebted to Nellore, CM Jagan said he has made Anil Kumar Yadav as Irrigation Minister so that he would complete all the irrigation projects in Nellore to fulfill the wishes of the people of Simhapuri. Jagan reiterated that all the pending irrigation projects in Nellore would be completed on war-foot basis.
HLC, Somasila, Penna Delta modernisation, Sangam, Penna barriage works, Kandaleru high-level canal, Sarvepalli reservoir works, Lift irrigation works, Nallapalem irrigation works and other pending irrigation works would be done on priority. CM Jagan asked Minister Anil Kumar Yadav to put special focus on Nellore.
Speaking at the event, minister Anil Kumar Yadav said he is filled with gratitude to CM Jagan for lifetime. Saying that never a BC from Nellore district is made a Cabinet Minister in last 50 years history of Nellore, Anil said he would work for Jagan even in his next life. Anil said all the dams in the state are full with water and gave credit to CM Jagan for incessant rains. Jagan too said to have impressed with Anil’s emotional speech.
Heroine Wore A Saree with Holes For her Wedding
Some heroines go to exotic countries to have a private destination wedding and some descend in India to have a royal wedding. But dusky siren Radhika Apte, who is known for her performances in various movies, had this registered wedding with a little number of guests.
Back in 2012 itself, the talented actress married British composer Benedict Taylor and started living together, without revealing the world about it. While talking about her wedding ceremony, the Chennai born Pune raised actress revealed that she had a registered wedding without any rituals being performed as the couple is not so religious.
Radhika Apte revealed that she wore her grandmother’s old saree for the the registered wedding and that saree had a lot of holes in it. She still wore it as her grandmother is one her most favourite people on the planet. Radhika bought another dress too, which was less than ten thousand rupees, for the party.
However, a month later when she has thrown a party for her friends and family, the actress made nearly 30-40 guests at the event plant small trees. Though Radhika hasn’t revealed where she made them plant, she confirms that they have planted Mango saplings, while the rest of the guests put seeds in the earth.
That’s a green wedding for such a hot actress who has taken acting prowess to the next level as she does not even shy away from going nude for the silver screen.
Who are the TRS leaders behind RTC strike?
At a time when Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and some of his cabinet colleagues have alleged that the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees had been agitating under the influence of opposition parties, a TRS MLA came up with a strange allegation, triggering a new controversy.
Jangaon MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy alleged that some TRS leaders were behind the RTC workers going on strike.
“I have strong evidences to prove that the RTC workers are being provoked by our own party leaders. They are instigating the employees to intensify the agitation to embarrass the chief minister,” he alleged.
Yadagiri Reddy, however, did not reveal the names of the TRS leaders who are behind the strike.
“I cannot tell their names, but I have got specific information that some TRS leaders in the power centre are fuelling the RTC strike. It should not have happened,” he said.
It naturally raised a lot of curiosity in the media. They are now trying to guess the names, who have been maintaining stoic silence over the RTC strike. Especially those who had close relations with the RTC employees in the past have remained silent now.
Finance minister T Harish Rao, former home minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy, health minister Etela Rajender and many others had been associated with the RTC unions in the past. It is not sure whether Yadagiri Reddy was making the statement keeping them in view.
He said he got to know names of some leaders who were responsible for intensifying of RTC strike and added that he would tell those names to the chief minister at an appropriate time.
New Poster Reaffirms Prathi Roju Pandage’s Release Date
While there is a lot of tension building around Sankranthi releases, a lot of discussion is happening around December third week releases too.
Before anyone comes to spoil their party, the makers of Prathi Roju Pandage have reaffirmed the release date. It will hit the theaters on December 20 as announced earlier.
There isn’t any change of plans for Prathi Roju Pandage as of now.
The first glimpse that was launched yesterday was well received as the film promises some nice family entertainment.
A new poster featuring Sai Tej and Rashi Khanna has been launched to reaffirm December 20th release. Interestingly, there are a couple more films that are aiming for release on the same date.
With Allu Aravind and UV Creations bankrolling the film, there shouldn’t be any worries about the lack of theaters.
Maruthi’s decent track record also will come in handy in terms of registering decent openings.
Jagan withdraws land allotment to Andhra Jyothy!
The YSR Congress party government in Andhra Pradesh headed by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday dealt a rude shock to popular media house Andhra Jyothy by taking back the land allotted to it in Visakhapatnam.
A decision to this effect was taken by the Andhra Pradesh cabinet at its meeting in Secretariat in Amaravati.
The previous Telugu Desam Party government headed by N Chandrababu Naidu allocated 1.50 acres of prime land to Amoda Publications which publishes Andhra Jyothy Telugu daily and brings out the television channel ABN Andhra Jyothy, at Paradesipalem in Visakhapatnam.
Needless to say, the land allocation was made as a favour to Vemuri Radhakrishna, the promoter of Amoda Publications, who belongs to Naidu’s community and is a hardcore supporter of the TDP.
According to the present market value, the land allotted to Andhra Jyothy costs not less than Rs 40 crore.
“But the previous Naidu government allotted the land to its favourable media house at a nominal rate of Rs 50.5 lakh to serve its political interests. The cabinet found fault with this allotment and decided to withdraw the land allotment,” information and public relations minister Perni Nani said.
The cabinet apparently felt that the land allotted for the media house did not serve the purpose, as no activity pertaining to publication had been taken up till now.
“That is why we cancelled the land allotment. It is obvious that the land was allotted to Andhra Jyothy as a favour for attacking the TDP’s political rivals,” Nani said.
The cabinet decided that the land taken back from the media house would be allotted for construction of weaker section houses, the minister added.
Chiru to invite Modi, Shah for Sye Raa show!
Megastar and former Union minister K Chiranjeevi seems to be doing hectic lobbying with political parties to get massive publicity for his latest historic film “Sye Raa.”
After going to Vijayawada in a special flight to meet YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday and request him to watch Sye Raa, the mega star went all the way to New Delhi on Wednesday to meet the national leaders and request them to watch then film.
Accompanied by industrialist-turned-Rajya Sabha member C M Ramesh, BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav and others, Chiranjeevi reached New Delhi in the afternoon.
He is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi first and extend a personal invitation to him to watch the special show of Sye Raa later in the night.
Later, Chiranjeevi will meet Union home minister Amit Shah as well and explain to him the historic significance of his film Sye Raa. He will request the BJP national president also for the special screening of the movie.
Later, Chiranjeevi went to the residence of Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu, where the special screening of the film was arranged. The megastar watched the movie along with the Vice President.
The lobbying will definitely help the megastar gain a nation-wide coverage!
