Naga Chaitanya is the first among the third generation heroes from the Akkineni family. He made his screen debut in the year 2009 and has completed a decade now.

Though ‘Josh’ did not turn into a hit, the second film ‘Ye Maaya Chesava’ showed his potential as an actor. Then he experimented genres and bagged mixed results.

At one point of time, Chay delivered continuous flops but then he bounced back strongly.

‘Manan’ will remain as a memorable film in his career as he acted alongside his grandfather and legendary ANR. Then it’s ‘Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam’ which made him close to family audiences.

Over the last few years Naga Chaitanya is picking sensible subjects and delivered decent hits at the box office. ‘Majili’ was the recent film that scored a super hit and emerged as the biggest film in his career.

Simultaneously his personal life was in news. After seeing actress Samantha for couple of years, they tied knot in October 2017.

First song from “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” music album will be released this weekend. This first song will be the beginning of the promotional blitzkrieg the production team has planned.

The team is following the footsteps of Prabhas for indulging in massive promotions before the release. Besides song releases, pre-release event and interviews with the media play key role in promotions.

The pre-release event will be held in the third week of September at Kurnool town. They are seeking the state government’s permission to hold the event on a massive scale. Once they get all the permissions, the date and place will be announced officially.

If they don’t get for public function in an open space in Kurnool, the team has to look for alternative places.

It has been decided to invite Pawan Kalyan as the chief guest for this pre-release event.

Chiranjeevi is planning to personally invite superstar Rajinikanth, too, for the promotional event for the Tamil version.

Official dates for all the events will be announced shortly.

Saaho Slips Further, Staring At Huge Losses

Saaho is going downhill at the box office with each passing day. The film got benefited to an extent because of long weekend, but to recover the high costs it has to maintain strong hold for many days.

But the Wednesday collections were pathetic all over Telugu states. Now the verdict is clear that its investors are staring at huge losses.

The film has netted Rs. 110 Cr in six days in Hindi, which makes it a safe venture for Hindi distributors. But the film is a big disaster in Tamil and Malayalam.

Even the Telugu version is heading for huge losses given the whopping prices it was sold for.

Luckily, there is not a single notable release in Telugu this weekend so that Saaho can hope for a better second weekend.

Saaho is heading for a big flop in North America too. It is likely to end up around $3 Million mark including all versions. This is not even half of what Baahubali 1 collected in this region.

PC follows in son’s footsteps, lands in Tihar jail

New Delhi: Former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram would be treated like a normal prisoner at Tihar Jail and he would be lodged in jail number-7 which is for economic offenders.

Chidambaram’s son Karti Chidambaram was also lodged in the same jail earlier.

The court has allowed the former Union minister to take his medicines along with him. Since Chidambaram enjoys Z-category security, the court also allowed him to be kept in a separate cell with adequate arrangements for his security.

The court here sent Chidambaram to 14 days judicial custody in the INX Media case.

The senior Congress leader, who was arrested by the CBI in the case last month and had undergone interrogation, will be lodged in Tihar Jail till September 19.

RX 100 fame Ajay Bhupathi’s cryptic tweet reading ‘Cheap Star’ has been decoded by a section of media.

They believe Ajay has expressed his displeasure against Ravi Teja by posting that comment.

Raviteja has reportedly walked out of Ajay Bhupathi’s film Maha Samudram that was supposed to hit the floors soon.

According to rumors, Raviteja demanded a hefty price check to which the producer said a firm ‘No’.

Although Raviteja liked the script, he refused to cut down remuneration and simply decided to go with another script narrated by Gopichand Malineni. This irked Ajay Bhupathi who vented out his frustration on Twitter.

As Raviteja chose to go with his Balupu and Don Seenu director, Ajay Bhupathi is left with no option but to search for another actor that can do justice to his story.

He has Naga Chaitanya in mind and is waiting to narrate the full bound script when the actor returns to Hyderabad from family holiday.

Even if Ajay impresses Chay, he would have to wait for many days to start the movie as the Majili actor has a couple of films on the sets.

Ajay Bhupathi has been waiting for so long to wield the megaphone again. It has been over a year since his debut film RX 100 had hit the screens.

Prabhas Finally Responds about Saaho!

Prabhas has been keeping a low profile after the release of “Saaho”. He did extensive promotion before the release but he went in silent mode post-release.

As the film is ending its first-week run, he posted a poster of “Saaho” declaring Rs 350 Cr gross for the movie.

He thanked all his fans for showing unconditional love.

“The film is what it is because of the sheer appreciation and incredible response you all have given. Lots of love to you all!,” he posted on Instagram.

The film ends the first week run today.

“Saaho” is heading towards hit status in the Hindi market while the Telugu version is looking at the grim situation at the box-office. But its overall worldwide gross is huge.

Prabhas must be happy for this overall collection.

Gang Leader Promotional Video: Peppy Mass Number

Team Gang Leader launched a promotional video song a week ahead of its theatrical release.

The song is a peppy and fun number with catchy lyrics and foot tapping rhythms. The song has Anirudh Ravichander’s signature all over it.

Anant Sriram penned simple yet effective lyrics for this number. Scenu sirigi Seatulirigi Seeti Kottaloy song has been recorded and shot just for promotions sake and the makers have reportedly spent Rs. 50 lakh on it.

This was not a part of the planned budget, but Nani insisted on having a promotional song that gives proper introduction to all the principal characters of the film.

This promotional song will not be a part of the movie, but it will be played as the end titles roll on. Gang Leader directed by Vikram Kumar is making right buzz with its songs and promos.

The film is slated for release on September 13.

Taking a cue from this, narrates Sree Vishnu as he says “Even Enemy Is A Bad Habit And He Is A Slave To Them.”

That gives a hint that ‘Thipparaa Meesam’ is a revenge drama and the teaser of it is out. Sree Vishnu never fails to impress us and he makes sure the content is quite engaging.

The visuals are dark themed and Sree Vishnu gets bashed by goons on many occasions in the teaser.

In the last shot where under the water Sree Vishnu touches his moustache with aggressive is just terrific.

‘Thipparaa Meesam’ is being directed by Krishna Vijay L and the teaser is bang on.

The background music too is on the money for the gloomy visuals and it is done by Suresh Bobbili.

If Chiru Is CM Candidate, Pawan Will Support BJP?

Here and now we keep hearing rumours that Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena will be teaming up with some other political party. Recently when it emerged that Janasena will be merged into Bharatiya Janata Party, the party president clarified that there is no such intent, and never will be.

A buzz is doing rounds in political circles that BJP approaching Pawan Kalyan to lead the show in Andhra Pradesh is quite true. But Pawan is said to have ruled out the chance of merger as he don’t want to create another Prajarajyam kind of history. However, when BJP came up with the idea of pushing Megastar Chiranjeevi’s name as AP CM Candidate on BJP’s roll, Pawan is said to have responded positively.

Buzz has that Pawan Kalyan might give full support to BJP in Andhra Pradesh, in case if Chiranjeevi is announced as CM Candidate. All said and done, even Chiru was approached by BJP directly but the actor refrained from any political activities and has even ditched Congress party too.

With Chiru getting busy on Sye Raa, Pawan hitting his own targets, we have to see how BJP will move its pawns in Andhra Pradesh to wrest control.

WAR Video: Vaani’s Bikini Acts Are Dominating

If Saaho is a pulsating action thriller, then there is another film that has similar content which is hitting cinemas very soon. That’s nothing but “WAR” which has Tiger Shroff playing the lead and Hrithik Roshan in a negative role. The film also had Vaani Kapoor romancing Hrithik, and her hotness is now captivating attention.

Here comes the first-ever song from WAR, which goes by the title Ghungroo and features Hrithik-Vaani in it. Shot in the picturesque locales of Italy, the song has Vaani flaunting her curvaceous body in a pink bikini ala Katrina Kaif from Bang Bang movie. WAR is directed by Bang Bang fame Siddharth Anand and has Hrithik too, so the influence refuses to go away.

That said, Vaani’s cleaving flashing along with her dance in a bikini are the USP of this song which otherwise fails to fascinate with its tune. Her glamour is quite dominating that even you don’t enjoy the dance moves of Hrithik Roshan. While the song posted a strong impact on the minds of glamour lovers, one wonders if Vaani will get the first hit of her career at least with this movie.

‘Pawan Kalyan Stop Cheap Publicity’

YCP’s Vijay Sai Reddy, who is quite active on social media platforms, has fumed against Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. In a series of tweets, Vijay Sai Reddy has now targeted Pawan for his critical comments against Jagan’s administration. Accusing Pawan of indulging in “Cheap Publicity”, Vijay Sai Reddy asked Pawan to be “objective in criticism”. Vijay Sai Reddy also asked Pawan’s silence against TDP’s misdeeds and corruption and why Pawan is vocal against Jagan’s administration that is doing “a lot of good things”.

Raking up the issue of Uddanam Kidney problem, Vijay Sai Reddy hailed CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for his initiative to sanction Rs 50 Crore for 200-bed Kidney Super Speciality hospital in Uttarandhra. Vijay Sai Reddy said the people of Uttarandhra are lauding Jagan’s move and his honesty to deal the problem of Uddhanam. Vijay Sai Reddy also lauded Jagan’s move to merge APSRTC into state government. He said 60,000 employees of APSRTC would get benefited with the move.

Earlier, Vijay Sai Reddy had made severe comments on Pawan. Dubbing him as “package artiste”, Vijay Sai Reddy alleged that both Pawan Kalyan and his “owner” Chandrababu Naidu are reading the same script against ruling YCP government. Looks like,YCP and Vijay Sai Reddy have started to corner Pawan.

Nag Is Back, Bigg Boss Sends Clips To Watch

Akkineni Nagarjuna who went holidaying to the Spanish island of Ibiza along with wife Amala, sons Chay and Akhil and daughter in law Samantha, has thrown a big surprise by not hosting last weekend’s Bigg Boss show. They roped in Ramya Krishna to do the same in replacement for the King as a Queen.

After celebrating his 60th birthday event for a week, finally, Nag and his wife Amala have returned to India, as they are caught rushing out of the airport today morning in Hyderabad. Before touching the ground, the senior hero is said to have asked Bigg Boss team to send him videos of the show for the past one week.

Not only Nagarjuna has to look into what each contestant has done, but this time, he has to outdo Ramya Krishna as well.
