Why Is Chandrayaan-2 Special For Prabhas?

The launch of Chandrayaan-2 from the Satish Dhawan space station in Sriharikota is the proud moment for the entire nation. Everyone is overwhelmed with this achievement by ISRO. GSLV-MkIII, that carried Chandrayaan-2 (termed as Baahubali) module, took off at 2.43 PM and seperated lunar craft to its desired geo-transfer orbit in next 15 minutes.

After the remarkable feat is achieved, Indian President Ramnath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have congratulated the ISRO scientists. For Young Rebel star Prabhas, it is even more special moment as ‘Chandrayaan-2’ has been monikered after his blockbuster film’s name ‘Baahubali’. The Saaho actor, on Monday, took to his Instagram and thanked ISRO for naming after his movie.

Prabhas tweeted: “Hello Darlings! It is a proud day for all of us Indians as ISRO’s Chandrayaan-2 took flight today. It is a further honor for the entire Baahubali Team with the rocket being regarded as #Baahubali for its magnum opus scale, years of hardwork in the making & first of its kind capacity to carry 300 tonnes. More Power to India”

Not just for Prabhas, but the team of Baahubali is also quite thrilled about having their film’s name for Chandrayaan-2. The official Twitter account of Baahubali tweeted: “Proud that @ISRO’s #Chandrayaan2 took flight today. We are extremely overwhelmed to know that it is a termed as #Baahubali for its scale and the effort that went into making it happen. Couldn’t be happier. Congratulations on the successful launch.”

Outgoing Andhra Pradesh Governor, ESL Narasimhan, who has set a new record by becoming the longest serving Governor of the State, has become emotional during his farewell. Narasimhan said sorry to the people of India and asked them to forgive for his little “small mistakes”.

Narasimhan complimented YS Jagan and his rule. He compared these first 34 days of Jagan’s rule to a cricket captain opening the batting with a powerplay of 10 overs by hitting every ball to a boundary or a six, which is magnificent.

He also advised Jagan to consolidate his hitting after first few overs and then hit again in the end over, say by the end of his five year rule. Comparing every move of Jagan to Cricket, Narasimhan wants Jagan to remain not out with many centuries.

Accolading Jagan’s moves in Assembly, the Governor brought the 4 Ds, Debate, Discussion, Dissent and Decision, saying that Jagan inherited a new empire and excellent team following the four important ‘D’s.

While mentioning Jagan’s wife Bharathi, Narasimhan showered praises her energy and how she supports Jagan, which is making them a special couple.

Breaking: Karan Johar Buys Dear Comrade

After Kabir Singh’s blockbuster success, all eyes of Bollywood are on Vijay Deverakonda’s next big film Dear Comrade which is releasing in 4 languages in South this week. This naturally drew the attention of Bollywood biggies who have been evincing interest on the film’s Hindi remake rights. Telugu producers Mythri Movie Makers and BigBen Cinemas had been getting a lot of offers from Hindi makers.

Finally, the Hindi remake rights of Dear Comrade went into safe and big hands. One of India’s popular filmmakers, Karan Johar, has bought the Hindi remake rights of Dear Comrade and Karan will be remaking the film under prestigious Dharma Productions. Karan said to have watched the whole film and impressed with the film in totality and come forward to buy the Hindi remake rights. Apparently, Karan is paying a fancy price to acquire the Hindi remake rights of Dear Comrade, a love story of Bobby and Lilly with several layers.

It is learnt that Karan has loved Dear Comrade, particularly, the second-half of the film. Ahead of the film’s release on 26th July, Karan Johar buying the film’s remake rights is certainly a big news and this is going to increase the hype surrounding the film.

The moot question is whether Vijay will also enact as Bobby in the Hindi remake? That’s a million dollar question now.

Valmiki To Clash With Gang Leader On Sep 13

Call it a Saaho effect, the schedule of Telugu movie releases have been disturbed and altered. After Nani’s Gang Leader which got shifted from August 30 to September 13, it is the turn of Varun Tej’s Valmiki which is pushed from Sep 6 to Sep 13.

Varun Tej’s Valmiki is now going to hit the screens on September 13. With this, it is going to be an interesting Box Office clash between Nani and Varun Tej. While Gang Leader is directed by critically acclaimed Vikram Kumar, Valmiki is being directed by mass director Harish Shankar. This makes the clash between the films more interesting.

Valmiki is the remake of superhit Tamil film Jigarthanda. Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta are bankrolling the film on their home banner 14 Reels Plus. On the other hand, Gang Leader will see Mythri Movie Makers which is doing well on production front. So, in all parameters, the clash of Gang Leader and Valmiki is really interesting to watch out for.

#RRR: Ram Charan injured again?

Megapowerstar Ram Charan who is back on the sets of ‘RRR’ is said to have got injured yet again. This was reported by a national media and claimed that the injury is not a major one.

As per the report, this incident happened while the mega hero was shooting for a song. “He (Ram Charan) was prepping for his movements when he accidentally slipped and fell on his back. Despite that Charan continued with the shoot and the team was relieved that it is not any major injury,” stated the website.

However, no Telugu media received any information on the mega hero’s injury and neither the crew is available to acknowledge this.

‘RRR’ is a fictional drama being directed by SS Rajamouli. Ram Charan is essaying the role of Alluri Sitharama Raju while Jr NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem. This high-budget flick is slated for July 30th, 2020 release.

Bollywood beauty Alia Bhatt is pairing with Ram Charan while the makers are holding talks with a Hollywood beauty opposite to NTR.

‘Balayya Made Me Feel Like A Bad Guy’

“Balayya is a time punctual, self-disciplined and god fearing guy. He believes a lot in muhurats and always insists us to follow certain times for starting and stopping the shoot” says Puri Jagan, as he explains Balayya in a nutshell.

Narasimhan embarrasses KCR, for first time!

Ever since the bifurcation of combined state of Andhra Pradesh, Governor E S L Narasimhan had been officiating as a common Governor for both the states.

He will be discharging his duties as Andhra Pradesh Governor on Wednesday and will continue for Telangana for some more time, till the Centre appoints a new Governor sooner or later.

During his tenure, Narasimhan has faced severe criticism from Andhra leaders, cutting across all political parties that he has been favouring the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government.

He has developed a strange affinity towards TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekahr Rao and his son K T Rama Rao.

In fact, KCR had been making regular visits to Raj Bhavan to appease Narasimhan, so that there is no resistance from the latter for his decisions.

Narasimhan also has been praising KCR and his government at every given opportunity and there were occasions when he pulled up the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders whenever they lodged a complaint against the TRS government.

But on Wednesday, for the first time, Narasimhan rejected a bill bulldozed by the KCR government in the assembly. KCR convened a special session of the assembly for two days only to pass the New Municipal Act, which he claimed was drafted by him personally to give more powers to the municipalities.

He got the bill passed amidst protests from the Congress members with the help of his brute majority in the House and sent it to the Governor for approval. But Narasimhan rejected the bill and sent it back to the government, much to the chagrin of KCR.

Apparently, Narasimhan felt that the Municipal Act had a number of loopholes which cannot stand the legal scrutiny.

He conveyed his objections to the Telangana chief minister, who definitely had not expected such a move from Narasimhan, as he thought the Governor would blindly sign the bill.

Now, it remains to be seen how KCR will react to Narasimhan’s unusual move.

Telugus thrilled over Jagan’s visit to Dallas

With the resounding success in the just concluded state assembly elections, Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy overseas tour has been finalized. This is his maiden overseas tour after taking over the CM mantle.

Although the trip was a planned family trip, however the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister agreed to hold a public meeting in Dallas, TX on August 17th.

Getting a cue of the public meeting, the Telugu NRIs are ecstatic and making grand preparations to meet their beloved leader.

Talking about the meeting the organizers mentioned that the Dallas Convention Center has been blocked for the event.

The organizers appealed this is one of a kind opportunity to meet the CM to interact and to know his vision for the Sunshine state.

The organizers further requested the NRIs to come forward cutting across party lines and to ensure participation for the betterment and for the future of Andhra Pradesh.

Citing Chief Minister being young and a man of vision to make Andhra Pradesh first among the states in India in terms of development, they opined Jagan may talk about development and the future plans Andhra Pradesh holds.

Expecting NRIs in huge numbers, the organizers have swung into action taking care of logistics not limited to Convention Center, Hospitality, Transportation, Security among other aspects.

The meeting will be held between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Saturday, August 17th and are requesting all NRIs to join in this public meeting.

The NRIs are wholeheartedly thanking the Chief Minister who agreed to meet the NRIs despite purely being a personal trip and conclude this shows to prove the love and affection the Chief Minister has towards the Telugu people of Andhra Pradesh and worldwide.

Raghuveera quits, why is Reddy still hanging on?

It is a known fact that the Congress party has more or less been wiped out from both the Telugu states. While it is still battling for life in Telangana, it is almost dead in Andhra Pradesh.

While the party is struggling at the national level to find an alternative leader in the wake of the resignation of AICC president Rahul Gandhi, party presidents in many states have resigned from their posts owning moral responsibility for the party’s debacle in the recent general elections.

Even Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president N Raghuveera Reddy submitted his resignation from the post last month itself.

On Tuesday, Raghuveera wrote another letter to party general secretary in-charge of Andhra affairs Oomen Chandy requesting that his resignation be accepted forthwith and he be relieved of his responsibilities immediately.

In any case, there is nothing much for Raghuveera to do now, as the party has been completely decimated in AP. It could not even two lakh votes, which is much less than the votes polled under NOTA.

In Telangana, however, PCC president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy is still hanging to his post.

Though Uttam miserably failed to bring the party to power in December 2018 assembly elections and also secure a good number of MP seats in Lok Sabha elections.

The Congress had won only three MP seats; while Uttam himself had won from Nalgonda, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy bagged Bhongir LS seat and Revanth Reddy won from Malkajgiri.

All the three managed to win with least majority and their victory can be attributed to their individual capacity, rather than the people’s support for the Congress party.

Now, one wonders what Uttam is waiting for?

According to analysts, the Congress had lost the assembly elections only because Uttam had failed to provide strong leadership.

His wrong selection of candidates and lack of campaign strategy, above all the blunder committed in forging alliance with the Telugu Desam Party led to the party’s humiliating defeat.

Many leaders have left the party in the last six months because of Uttam.

“At least now, he should step down to pave the way for new generation leaders so that they can at least ensure that the party will not be dead by next elections,” an analyst said.

Buzz: Suresh Babu Fires On Allu Arjun’s Manager!

Allu Arjun losing cool over his co-director on the sets of #AA19 has been one of the trending topics on social media at the moment.

The co-director failed to inform about the cancelled shoot to Allu Arjun in advance and the actor was furious about it as he cancelled his other plans because of the shoot.

Having a tiff with the co-director for a petty reason has shown the actor in bad light and therefore his manager has reportedly come up with a cover up story.

According to him, Allu Arjun thought of accompanying his good friend actor Rana Daggubati who underwent a kidney transplant surgery, but couldn’t go because of the shoot.

The actor lost his cool when he came to know that the shoot has been cancelled. He was upset that he couldn’t be by the side of his friend.

Allu Arjun’s manager has been spreading this so that it appears that he had a valid reason to fire on his co-director.

Suresh Babu came to know about this and he reportedly called Allu Arjun’s manager and scolded him for using his son’s surgery news to counter their bad PR.

Suresh wanted to keep Rana’s surgery a secret, but it is all over the news because of Allu Arjun’s manager’s attempt to help his Boss come out clean.

For two hours I read ‘Dear Comrade’ script: Rashmika

Actress Rashmika Mandanna said ‘Dear Comrade’ is the journey of Bobby played by Vijay Deverakonda and Lilly played by her.

Speaking about the film, Rashmika said, “I generally don’t read the complete scripts of my films. When director Bharat Kamma sent me the script, I gave it a try and for nearly two hours I read it. I got so hooked to it as it was such engaging and there is a sense of curiosity what happens next.”

When asked about her role, Rashmika replied that she underwent training for four months.

“I had bruises all over my hands, legs. My shoulder got dislocated but its worth the pain. Now I know how to defend my wicket.”

The Kannada beauty added that it took a toll on her while performing an emotional scene.

“After the particular scene, director Bharat tweeted that I did well. That day I cried a lot and that is what it takes to get appreciation from your director. I’m always a director’s baby,” said Rashmika.

Adding she said she doesn’t consider herself lucky to be pairing with big heroes as she worked very hard all these days and it is paying off with right projects.

Rashmika dubbed for her role in Kannada and Telugu and she is excited that ‘Dear Comrade’ is releasing in all four languages simultaneously.

‘Dear Comrade’ is releasing on July 26th.
