Shraddha gushes over her co-star Prabhas
Bollywood diva Shraddha Kapoor and south superstar Prabhas will soon treat their fans with their fresh pairing and sizzling chemistry in their upcoming film, ‘Saaho’.
While people are all thrilled to see them together on screen, Shraddha too is delighted to have worked with Prabhas.
The actress, who is working with Prabhas for the first time, just cannot stop gushing over the actor.
Speaking about her experience of shooting the film, she reportedly told Bollywood media that she finds Prabhas one of the nicest, sweetest and loveliest people she has come across.
She revealed that the actor has a very kind heart and he took care of her and her team very well.
Shraddha was also all praise for her producers. According to her, they made her feel like she is a part of the UV family and she always felt at home when she was in Hyderabad.
Shraddha will reportedly be seen doing some daredevil stunts in the film.
The film also features Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Arun Vijay, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mahesh Manjrekar in pivotal roles.
JD to stay in Jana Sena till Pawan wants!
Within hours of speculations about his resignation from Jana Sena Party floated by actor Pawan Kalyan and his plans to join the Bharatiya Janata Party went viral in the social media, former Central Bureau of Investigation joint director V V Lakshminarayana gave a clarification.
JD, as Lakshminarayana is popularly known, tweeted that he was surprised and shocked about rumours being floated since morning about him.
“There is a saying: rumours are carried by haters, spread by fools and accepted by idiots. Decide to which category you belong,” he tweeted.
He said he would continue to remain with the Jana Sena Party.
“I will be with Jana Sena till the president feels that I’m useful to the party. Please don’t waste time on such rumours and rather use it for helping the flood affected, planting saplings, clearing areas of plastic, motivating youth and many more. Jai Hind,” he tweeted.
Well, it is not necessary that those who spread the rumours are fools and accept the same are idiots. Moreover, this saying does not hold good especially in the case of politicians, who are known for changing their colours quite often.
There are innumerable examples of politicians who simply defect to the other parties even after getting elected by the people from one party.
So, there is nothing surprising if JD defects to the BJP. If he wants to remain in the Jana Sena, let him be. It doesn’t make any difference to the common people.
For the media, it’s just a news!
Joke: KTR talks about freedom of speech!
A statement made by Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president and former minister K T Rama Rao on Saturday expressing anguish over lack of freedom of expression for the people in the country raised many eyebrows.
KTR said democracy would be in danger if the people do not find a situation to question the government.
“The people of Telangana have the liberty to speak whatever they can. But in the country, there is no such a situation. Nobody can dare question the rulers at the Centre and express his views openly,” he said.
Stating that there has been a nation-wide debate over the faiths and views of the people, the TRS working president said it was unfortunate that the people who differed with a section were being branded as traitor and supported that section are treated as patriots.
“A religion might have a language, but a language doesn’t have a religion. In Telangana, there is a space for every religion and a culture to respect all religions. But in the rest of the country, there is no security to the people who question the religious dominance,” he said.
One wonders whether KTR was really speaking from his heart. Everybody in Telangana can vouch for the fact there is a virtual dictatorship prevailing as undercurrent in the state.
KTR talks about right to question for the people, but it is an open secret that nobody can dare question TRS and its president K Chandrasekhar Rao and if anybody does that, he is branded as “anti-Telangana.”
Even a majority section of media has become a puppet in the hands of the TRS and if there are any negative reports in any other media, they are targeted by the ruling party.
There is no chance for the opposition parties or organisations to take up rallies and agitations and they would be simply thrown behind bars.
So, the less KTR talks about freedom of expression the better.

Tech-savvy Naidu red-faced over fake post
Amaravati: Posting a picture on social media without verifying its authenticity landed tech-savvy N. Chandrababu Naidu in an embarrassment as the trolls forced him to delete his tweet.
The former Andhra Pradesh chief minister on Aug 8 tagged two pictures of Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) workers along with his tweet.
One picture shows ASHA workers giving milk bath to Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy while in the second picture, they were seen holding a ‘mock funeral’ of the government to lodge their protest.
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief commented in Telugu that this is what happens when one fails to keep his word. He was referring to Jagan Reddy’s promise to hike salaries of ASHA workers from Rs 3,000 to Rs 10,000.
However, the photograph of the protest turned out to be of 2015 and that too from neighbouring Telangana state.
Netizens, mostly followers of ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), began trolling him for posting a fake photo. The leader of opposition deleted the tweet on Saturday.
However, the YSRCP slammed Naidu for what it calls spreading canard against the government. YSRCP spokesman Ambati Rambabu said Naidu’s tweet on ASHA workers was juxtaposed with two different contexts and timelines.
He said Naidu’s comment was uncalled for as the government already enhanced the salaries of ASHA workers.
The YSRCP also lashed out at Naidu for commenting that people rejected the TDP, which was a milch cow for them. Rambabu said the overwhelming mandate for YSRCP proved whether TDP government was milch cow or a leech that suck people’s blood.
#BiggBoss03: Punarnavi Starts Negative Campaign
With #BiggBoss confining Punarnavi and Ali to a secret location, the expected batting started as they were made to talk the negatives about each contestant. Excluding their good friends, Varun-Vithika and gang, they made severe accusations on each and every other.
Punarnavi made some strong accusations on the competitive spirit of Sreemukhi and Baba Bhaskar, called Himaja as a dud while she termed Rahul Sipligunj as a ‘sacrificing’ superstar. While Ali jokingly stated that Vithika should allow Varun Sandesh to play his game, for the rest of others he gave some negative remarks, which were not aired.
#BiggBoss shows have always proved that these people who form a group always end up on the losing end. And that is what being thought about Varun, Vithika, Rahul and Punarnavi now. And the negative remarks of Ali-Punarnavi might now work in any one’s favour, other than this group.
Saaho Villain reveals the humane side of Prabhas
Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh will be seen portraying a menacing villain’s role in Prabhas’ most keenly anticipated action thriller ‘Saaho’. Neil and Prabhas became close buddies during the making of Saaho over the last couple of years.
Whenever Neil used to interact with Bollywood media, he always showered praises on Prabhas and his simplicity despite being such a huge star. And here’s a couple of instances that will showcase the humane side of Prabhas.
Neil revealed that his wife Rukmini Sahay was pregnant when Saaho’s action packed schedule was underway in Abu Dhabi, UAE, last year. “Upon knowing this, Prabhas came to my room and brought gifts for my wife. He also used to call me everyday to enquire about my wife and is she was comfortable. Tell me how many actors will do this?,” Neil said.
Neil also said that he had learnt a lot from Prabhas. “He is very humble even though he is a huge star,” Neil added. Well, it looks like Prabhas very well knows how to win people’s hearts.

All Eyes On AP Governor’s Delhi Tour!
After retaining power for the second time, BJP has shifted its focus on the Telugu states. In Telangana, the party is expanding its wings slowly while in Andhra Pradesh it is applying different strategy. Accordingly the BJP government has appointed BJP leader Biswabhushan Harichandan as the Governor of AP.
Taking charge as Governor, Biswabhushan in no time started working. He met officials and learned about the political, financial and other aspects of the state. Gathering all the details, Harichandan flew to New Delhi and is likely to meet President, Vice-President, PM Modi, Home minister Amit Shah and other union ministers. But this tour of the Governor has become a hot topic in political circles.
Though Raj Bhavan sources claim that it is a courtesy tour, political experts believe that this is vital trip as he will be in the national capital for three days. However it is yet to be known whether Governor got a call from New Delhi or he went on his own to meet top brass of government.
As joint Governor of the Telugu states, ESL Narasimhan played a crucial role in managing the big issues when Telangana CM and AP CM were in tug-of-war. Harichandan seems to have noted Narasimhan’s work as well and he is likely to take an opinion of BJP leadership on how to react on things that come his way.
What is Kodalu Pilla’s Reaction On Mama’s Movie?
Akkineni Nagarjuna already revealed that ‘kodalu pilla’ Samantha hasn’t reacted well to Manmadhudu 2 trailer owing to the kisses in it. But going by the film that released today, it looks like ‘Kodalu Pilla’ might not endorse it big time.
Filled lot of double entendres, one can take that as some adult touch intentionally given, but the one-liners that are a bit disrespectful to women cannot be treated as healthy creative work. Nagarjuna’s character in the films says the lines that he likes only women who are on a little bit of heavier side and Rakul trying to smoke cigarettes forcibly to make her look like a new-age woman are all giving wrong signals.
So, what would be Kodalu Pilla Samantha’s reaction to these elements? While Samantha talks about the regressive nature of other films, her feminist thoughts and anti-misogynistic crusades, naturally she should not endorse this movie. Maybe that is the reason why she hasn’t tweeted about the film so far.
And if she doesn’t endorse the movie, will she blast her Mama and also good friend Rahul Ravindran for coming up with such content?
Chitti Babu Deserves National Award
In the wake of 66th National Film Awards announced other day, fans of the film “Rangasthalam” who are literally responsible for the 123+ crores ‘share’ collection the film made at the box office, are deeply upset. They feel that this snub shouldn’t have happened, and it is quite unfair.
Though there is no way one could deny that Mahanati movie and Keerthy Suresh could be denied an award, they say, Ram Charan deserves a Best Actor award. For the kind of riveting performance he delivered as Chittibabu in Rangasthalam, at least a Jury Award is a must for him. Compared to what Ayushman Khurrana did in Andhadhun and Vicky Kaushal did in Uri, Charan’s act in Rangasthalam is no less.
Also the screenplay of Rangasthalam is better than the original screenplay of Chi La Sow, and Sukumar’s direction is top-notch than so called better films in India, is what fans feel. At the same time, the artwork in Rangasthalam, where they erected a whole village set in Jubilee Hills Hyderabad, needs better appreciation.
Some say that Rangasthalam makers should have lobbied more to win an award, rather leaving it to the lousy jury that appears to have picked awards out of a lottery.
