Ravi Shastri trolled over pic with two women

A self-proclaimed Pakistan cricket team fan, Australias famous Twitter personality Dennis Freedman has trolled India chief coach Ravi Shastri on the eve of their opening World Cup game against South Africa by posting a picture of Shastri with two women who seem to be excited to be sharing the frame with the coach. There is another person in the frame, but he is not associated with the Indian team.

Taking to Twitter, Freedman wrote: “India’s World Cup preparations appear to be going well.”

Shastri’s photo hasn’t gone down well with fans who commented on Freedman’s post. One fan wrote: “Fielding at fine leg.” Another one wrote: “We’re playing both on and off the field.”

Another user wrote: “They are so anxious to gel in with gori’s in UK. This is Indians very natural complex (sic).” One Pakistani fan wrote: “Dear girls watch Azhar movie again if you dont know who is R shastri (sic).”

An Indian fan was clearly not impressed with the photo as the comment read: “He is better than play boy Warne who got his mms with 2 girls leaked (sic).”

Dennis also posted the photo on Facebook and the reaction of the fans isn’t something that augurs well for the team. One fan wrote: “Hope he creates something better than Jayasuriya.” Another one wrote: “Keep it up dude, you are doing well.”

Earlier, the Indian team had a tiff with the media on Monday after the team management decided to send in net bowlers Deepak Chahar and Avesh Khan for media interaction. The move didn’t go down with the travelling media as they felt that they deserved better treatment two days before Virat Kohli and boys play their opening game of the World Cup against South Africa.

GVL’s Next Target Is Jagan?

When Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu was the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh till recently, Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesman and Rajya Sabha member G V L Narasimha Rao used to attack him with strong words day in and day out.

After Naidu faced a humiliating defeat in the hands of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, GVL went silent except on the day of results when he said Naidu had paid penalty for his misrule.

Now that he is habituated to making sharp criticism against others, GVL seems to have set Jagan as his next target. It appears he is closely watching the new chief minister’s moves and looking for an opportunity to attack.

On Tuesday, GVL made some critical comments against Jagan for hosting Iftar for Muslims at Guntur on Monday.

He said being the chief minister of a secular state, it was not appropriate for Jagan to host Iftar party for Muslims at the expense of public money.

He was reacting to some reports that the government had spent Rs 1.1 crore on the Iftar party at Guntur.

“It is not correct on the part of Jagan to spend so much public money on religious events. Andhra Pradesh has already been facing huge revenue loss. And the previous chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had wasted crores of rupees of public money on his “luxurious” agitations and pushed the state into a deep financial crisis,” he pointed out.

“It is not proper to host religious festivals with public expenses in a secular government. I hope the new chief minister Jagan will not give scope for such unhealthy practices in future,” GVL commented on twitter.

Well, he has not made a comment on Jagan flying to Visakhapatnam in a special flight to take the blessings of Swamy Swaroopanandendra of Visakha Sarada Peetham.

It was earlier reported that actress Keerthy Suresh will be seen in an important role in ‘Manmadhudu 2.’ Now this ‘Mahanati’ has joined the shooting.

The current schedule is taking place in Hyderabad and Keerthy was spotted on the sets.

Actor Rahul Ravindran who is the director of the film took to his official Twitter handle and is delighted having Keerthy in ‘Manmandhudu 2.’

This is a fun filled entertainer inspired from the original and Rakul Preet Singh is playing the main female lead.

The Akkineni kodalu, Samantha will also be seen in a special role and she had already wrapped up her portion in Portugal schedule.

All Babu’s Babus get no postings!

As expected, all the IAS officers who were cherry picked by former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu in chief minister’s office and key department have been shunted out of their positions and not been given any postings by the new government headed by YSR Congress party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

On Tuesday evening, the Jagan government issued orders transferring as many as 42 IAS officers. Many of the IAS officers who played a key role during the Chandrababu Naidu government could not get any postings.

They include Ajay Jain, Vijayanand, Kartikeya Mishra, Udayalakshmi, Shashibhushan, Kanna Babu and Ranjit Basha, besides IPS officer Anuradha. They were asked to report to the General Administration department.

Similarly, senior IAS officers of erstwhile CMO Satish Chandra, Sai Prasad and Rajamouli, who had already been surrendered to the GAD last week, were also not given any postings.

Even those who had worked in the peshis of Naidu and also his son Nara Lokesh were shunted out and not given any postings.

Some other IAS officers who worked closely with Naidu were shifted to not so important departments. They include Capital Region Development Authority commissioner Cherukuri Sridhar, secretary Nagulapalli Srikanth, Piyush Kumar and Poonam Malakondaiah etc. Those who were sidelined in the past have been brought to key positions.

Soon, there are going to be major changes in the IPS officers as well, official sources said.

Last Month For Sye Raa And Saaho

Okay, all big things are being heard about Saaho and Sye Raa, but what about their completion. While Prabhas’ Saaho locked August 15th as the release, Sye Raa pushed itself for another patriotic date, October 2nd release. But how long the shooting of these films will take place?

From the last couple of months, the makers of both Saaho and Sye Raa are busy claiming that they are in the last leg of shooting. But it looks like the last leg isn’t getting wrapped as expected. For Prabhas Saaaho, a bit of patchwork and also shooting of songs is said to be pending. After the edit, the actor is not happy with some of the scenes and want to go for a reshoot again, say sources.

At the same time, Sye Raa is output is yet to be seen by Chiranjeevi, but the visual effects work is said to be delaying the whole film. That’s said to be the reason why the film got postponed by a couple of months. However, director Surender Reddy is said to have given assurance that Sye Raa will be wrapped by the end of June.

Well, these days, big budgeted films are being completed just a week before the release and that’s how even Maharshi did things. But with magnum opus films also following the same pattern, it looks like Tollywood’s planning is going for a toss.

Jagan gifts Rajya Sabha seat to his uncle!

YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to allot Rajya Sabha seat to his uncle YV Subba Reddy. In the recent elections, Subba Reddy was snubbed by Jagan and the Ongole MP ticket was given away to Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy who joined YSRCP from TDP.

Although Jagan assured that he would give Subba Reddy a prominent position in the party, he was upset. In the latter episodes Subba Reddy stayed away from Ongole election campaign but he continued to stay in touch with Jagan and party sources.

After YSRCP’s landslide victory, Subba Reddy flashed before the media and since then he constantly appeared at YS Jagan’s residence in Tadepalli. Having given his word, Jagan has made up his mind to send Subba Reddy to the Upper House. An official announcement on behalf of YSR Congress party is expected later in the day.

Naidu makes shocking comments on Tirumala VIP Visits

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu had visited Tirumala on Tuesday and had made some interesting comments on the VIP visits. Venkaiah opined that VIPs should visit Lord Venkateswara Swamy only once a year so that the common man will not wait for hours in queue.

“Every day thousands of people stand in long lines just to have a glimpse of the Divine. It’s true that when we visit temple, our stress levels come down and we would find peace. But considering the common man, VIPs should restrict their regular visits to Tirumala,” stated Venkaiah. He added the society should become a hunger less and corruption free one which eventually result in eradicating inequalities.

Upon the Vice President’s visit, the TTD officials have honoured him due respects. He was welcomed by temple priests. After the darshan, he was blessed by the vedic scholars and presented him the rest of the garment.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga has become one of the most sought-after filmmakers ever since his directorial debut Arjun Reddy won critical acclaim as well as blockbuster success. After Arjun Reddy, many stars evinced interest to team up with Sandeep. Sandeep met Mahesh Babu as well and Mahesh confirmed that he will do a film with Sandeep. Since then, there have been speculations on when Mahesh Babu and Sandeep Reddy’s film will roll onto the floors.

Sandeep, who is currently busy with Kabir Singh, the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, has given clarity on his film with Mahesh Babu. Sandeep admitted that he had narrated a story-line to Mahesh and Mahesh was quite impressed with the plot. Sandeep said Mahesh has asked him to develop the complete story and told him to give a full narration. Sandeep said his film with Mahesh will move forward once he narrates full movie.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu’s next film – Sarileru Neekevvaru – with director Anil Ravipudi (of F2 fame) is all set to go onto floors from 24th June. Once Mahesh is done with Sarileru Neekevvaru, he will think about his next with Sandeep. On the other hand, Kabir Singh is all set for June 21st release. One has to wait and see whether Sandeep would recreate the magic of Arjun Reddy with Kabir Singh or not.

Samantha’s Review On ‘Uyare’

Samantha Akkineni, despite being extremely busy with her copious amount of projects, in both Tamil and Telugu industries, still finds time to encourage and appreciate others work and films. She is well-known for being generous to her co-workers and budding stars and will never ignore any experimental or good work done by others.

After praising Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi, the actress has now managed to watch Parvathy’s Malayalam film, Uyare. The film has impressed the audience to a huge extent and so did for Samantha too. She took her feeling to Twitter, appreciating the efforts behind the film.

Samantha tweeted, “#Uyare .. just watch it .. It will make you angry, make you cry, make you think, make you love, make you have hope and leave you inspired. Thankyou @parvatweets …you are our pride. And the team director #Manu and writers # BobbySanjay. Absolutely brilliant (sic)”

On the other hand, actress Parvathy too thanked Samantha for her appreciation and encouraging words on her film, Uyare. She replied to Samantha’s post – “Thank you @Samanthaprabhu2 !! (sic)”. The film is all about an aspiring pilot woman who is also an acid attack survivor. The ordeals faced by her and her fight towards justice is what makes the film outstanding.

Blow after blow for TRS Kavitha

TRS chief KCR’s daughter Kavitha faced a shock in the recent Parliament elections. As she is yet to come out of the defeat, Kavitha received another blow and this time it is from her own village, Pothangal of Navipet mandal in Nizamabad. The candidate on behalf of TRS lost to BJP candidate in the local body polls.

While in the whole Telangana, the scenario is different. The TRS car is cruising at majority of places. The candidate who lost was recommended by Kavitha and once again this became a hot topic of discussion among the political circles. They say that Kavitha’s influence in party and Nizamabad is fading out. She needs to have the back of her father, if not her political innings will come to an end in the near future.

Post the election defeat, Kavitha analysed the loss by holding discussions with her dad and Siddipet MLA Harish Rao. Some serious introspection is needed by Kavitha here to bounce back. We shall see what she does to make a comeback.

iSmart Promotions: Pawan Did It 16 Years Ago

Promoting a film is the biggest task in hand for the producers and directors these days as the Opening Week collections are the ones that matter now. The more promotion is, the high the footfalls are. And it looks like the team of Ram’s ISmart Shankar is working quite hard in that aspect.

Directed by Puri Jagan, and also produced by him along with former heroine Charmme, the film iSmart Shankar has shot to fame with Ram’s mass look, and the glamour dose of heroines Nidhie Agarwal and Nabha Natesh. But majorly, Charmme is looking at promoting the film by introducing merchandise of it.

Hollywood films do promote their stories through some special clothing, either the models used by film leads or something related to film’s concept. And in Telugu, we have Pawan Kalyan introducing ‘Johnny’ movie merchandise like t-shirts, handkerchiefs, stoles and caps as well in 2003 itself. And 16 years later, now iSmart Shankar is launching iSpecial clothing line to promote their film.

Back then Johnny had no takers, but we have to see how this will work for iSmart Shankar. Also to mention, back then a big clothing brand launched the shirts used by Ram Charan in Orange as a special edition, but they haven’t made it huge.

Super30 Trailer : Hrithik Roshan Stuns As Maths Teacher

“Super30” is the upcoming film of ‘Queen’ fame director Vikas Bahl and it features Hrithik Roshan in the leading role of a maths teacher. The film is the real story of mathematician Anand Kumar who runs a coaching centre in Patna where he trains students for entrance into India’s elite IITs.

Hrithik Roshan has just nailed it with his deglam look as Mathematician Anand Kumar. After failing to join Cambridge University owing to his father’s death and poverty, this proven mathematician starts coaching students for the IIT-JEE entrance test. While some businessman wants to make most of Anand by making his coaching centre quite popular, thereby charging a huge fee, Anand has other plans. He wants to coach economically poor but intelligent students and send them to IITs. The trailer is terrific in all aspects when it comes to screenplay, visuals, emotions and overall feel.

We have to say that Vikas Bahl, who was recently cleared off sexual misconduct allegations, has simply rocked the show. His portrayal of rugged Patna and Ananda Kumar is winning accolades with the trailer itself. Looks like Hrithik had another winner on hand as “Super 30” releases on July 12th.

He is Behind My Son’s Defeat – CM

The political feud between Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and PCC chief Sachin Pilot is intensifying. Despite several measures by the party’s top leadership, the rift between Ashok and Sachin is not dying anytime sooner. Ashok Gehlot’s fresh comments have expected to add fuel to the ongoing feud.

Ashok Gehlot claimed that Sachin Pilot is behind his son Vaibhav’s defeat from Jodhpur Lok Sabha constituency. Jodhpur is Congress bastion and the party has a strong foothold over the constituency. Ashok Gehlot had won from Jodhpur Lok Sabha for five times. However, in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Ashok’s son Vaibhav Gehlot lost to BJP’s Gajendra Singh Shekhawat who is now joined in Narendra Modi’s cabinet.

Ashok opined that his son Vaibhav’s defeat has pained him. He alleged that PCC chief Sachin had made him believe that his son Vaibhav would win from Jodhpur whereas the reality is different. Ashok’s followers opined that his son Vaibhav had lost the seat despite CM putting special concentration on Jodhpur. The followers allege that Sachin had worked against Vaibhav fearing that the latter would become a political threat to him in the future.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi has expressed his sivere dissent against Ashok Gehlot. Rahul is of the opinion that CM Ashok hasn’t worked for the party’s victory but he has only focused on his son’s seat. However, Ashok Gehlot’s fresh comments on Sachin have become hot topic. Followers of Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot are blaming one another for the loss.
