Actually, Salman is pretty close to Ram Charan’s family, and that is the reason earlier he has turned up at #Chiru60 event and also he hosts Charan whenever the Megastar Junior goes to Mumbai. For that reason, he’s said to have got up on this show for Upasana and shared good fitness, health tips.

On the other hand, Charan and Upasana have completed their African sojourn celebrating their 7th marriage anniversary in advance and landed back in Hyderabad.

CM Jagan’s cabinet to have five deputy CMs

Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan is very cautiously finalising the candidates who will be part of his cabinet and on that note he took a sensation decision. Well it is, there will be five deputy Chief Ministers in the cabinet and all the five will hail from different communities. By doing so, Jagan is making sure that he is giving equal importance to all communities in his government. As per YSRCP’s mouthpiece, the five deputy CMs are likely to hail from Kapu, Minority, BC, SC and ST communities.

The total number of ministers are expected to be around 25 and Jagan is picking MLAs who are there in the party from its inception and are very loyal to party and him. The YSRC Legislature Party met this morning and in this meeting Jagan informed the MLAs that the cabinet will be shuffled after two-and-half years and new MLAs will be given a chance.

However, the list of names who are going to be ministers is still not out yet. Jagan will personally call the individual later this evening and ask them to be available for swearing in ceremony which is scheduled tomorrow. Meanwhile Governor Narasimhan is on his way to Vijayawada.

Vijaya Sai Reddy Counters Babu’s Letter; Yanamala Condemns

It is known that TDP Supreme Nara Chandrababu Naidu has written a letter to new Chief Minister of AP, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, asking his govt to declare the ‘Praja Vedika’ as residential annexe for leader of opposition. Reacting to it, the YSR Congress party National General Secretary, Vijaya Sai Reddy shot back at Naidu.

‘We assumed that the first letter from former-CM Chandrababu to Jagan Mohan Reddy will be on public issues, but sadly, it is about his luxurious residence. The letter has nothing but curiosity of Naidu on whether he’ll retain the luxurious home or not. It looks like the man who claimed to bring entire world to Amaravati is not interested to build his own residence here.’ – tweeted Vijaya Sai Reddy

But, his comments on Twitter were condemned by senior TDP leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, who took a swipe at Reddy for finding fault in Babu seeking ‘Praja Vedika’ for his office use. He also reminded Vijay Sai Reddy about TDP Chief’s first letter to Jagan, in which the former CM had wished him a successful term in the office.

He further referred to points mentioned by Naidu in his letter to Jagan – ‘We will try to play a responsible opposition role and support you in all development activities and welfare schemes.’ In the end, Yanamala slammed Vijaya Sai Reddy for making politics out of Naidu’s letter.

Whoa! Nagababu Is Back In Jabardasth

From a time, there are various rumours doing rounds about the absence of mega brother in Jabardasth comedy show. Along with former heroine Roja, he used to judge the show and became an integral part of it. But after he chose to contest from Narasapuram as an MP on Janasena ticket, things took a different turn.

Recently with comedian Ali replacing Nagababu and joining Roja, many thought that the change is permanent. As Janasena lost the election big time, some felt that the mega brother will not be taking up the assignment back any sooner. However, it looks like his political loss is forgotten and he’s back to the show.

The latest promo of Jabardasth confirmed that Nagababu is back in the seat and Roja is there as is, giving a total send off to the likes of Meena, Sanghavi, Sekhar Master, Jani Master and Ali. The balance is now even with both Nagababu and Roja being the ones who have contested in the election, while Roja won and the mega brother lost.

Surely mega fans are quite happy with this development as the mood in their camp is quite gloomy ever since Pawan Kalyan and Janasena lost big time in 2019 elections.

Jai Sena Reflects Pawan’s Ideology

Setting the records straight, director V Samudra has made it clear that his directorial Jai Sena is based on Pawan Kalyan’s individuality and his ideology. He said Jansena Party is all about Pawan’s vision for the people, state where as the movie Jai Sena focuses on Pawan’s thoughts and opinions. And the film’s title and logo has striking resemblance with Janasena’s logo that shows fist.

Starring Srikanth, Sunil and four young heroes, interestingly, the film also has comedian Prudhvi who has affiliation with YSRCP.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena got a big blow in 2019 general polls in AP. The party won only 1 Assembly seat (Razole) while Pawan himself had lost in both Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka constituencies.

Kavitha Vs Padmavati Reddy in Huzurnagar?

After being elected as Nalgonda MP, TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy has tendered his resignation as MLA from Huzurnagar Assembly constituency. This has raised new hopes among TRS leaders to bag one more Assembly seat. Congress/Uttam wants to field Uttam’s wife Padmavati Reddy who had contested and lost from Kodad in December 2018 polls.

Here is the twist. TRS working president KTR wants to pit his sister Kalvakuntla Kavitha from Huzurnagar after she had lost in Nizamabad parliament seat in the recent 2019 polls. With this the fight may turn interesting as both TRS and Congress wants to win Huzurnagar by hook or by crook. Congress, which already lost its MLAs to TRS through defection and lost the CLP to TRS, wants to win Huzurnagar Assembly seat to retain its respect in legislative assembly. On the other hand, TRS which had received minor set back in Lok Sabha polls, wants to show its strength again by winning Huzurnagar.

If Kavitha is in fray from Huzurnagar, definitely, the fight between Congress and TRS will be more interesting. So, a brother (KTR) wants his sister (Kavitha), whereas a husband (Uttam) wants his wife (Padmavathi) in Huzurnagar. What is in people’s minds?

Pre-monsoon rains in Andhra Pradesh has brought a cheer among people and also among the YCP leaders. The sudden rains in AP – even before the south-west monsoon (Ruthupavanalu) entered Kerala – is now being claimed as Jagan’s achievement by YCP followers. While south-west (Niruthi) monsoon is expected to start in the second-week of June, the pre-monsoon rains are now credited to YS Jagan.

“Jagan anna came, Rains came,” commented a YCP supporter online. Many other followers of YCP are claiming that rains are indication that Rain God is with Jagan anna. A few YCP followers went a step ahead and claimed that YS Rajasekhar Reddy is “blessing” his son Jagan with rain from heaven. They say Rajasekhar Reddy is quite happy to see his son as the CM of AP.

This kinda politics with rain isn’t new in AP. Since the time of YSR, there has been a popular perception (propagated by pro-YSR and anti-Naidu camp) that ‘Rain God’ is close to YS family and he is anti to Chandrababu Naidu. Nonetheless, Rajasekhar Reddy himself had made the statement taking dig at Chandrababu Naidu’s rule.

Meanwhile, many rationalists are laughing at these propaganda of politicians and their supporters. Politics with weather and nature is really beyond and next level. What say folks?

Sensational decision by Jagan: 5 Dy CMs!

In a sensational decision, which is perhaps for of its kind in any state in the entire country, YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday announced induction of five deputy chief ministers in his cabinet.

He sprang a surprise on his party MLAs and MLCs, when he addressed the legislature party meeting at his party office at Tadepalli in Amarvati in the morning.

He said the entire country is looking at Andhra Pradesh which would extend a clean and efficient administration to the people.

He announced that he would form a full-fledged cabinet with 25 ministers on Saturday and five of them would be deputy chief ministers, as the MLAs and MLCs listened to him with a shock.

“The five Deputy CMs would be from: SC, ST, BC, minorities and Kapu communities so as to give a balance to all groups and do social justice,” he said.

The names that are being indicated for the Deputy CM posts are; Ummareddy Venkateshwarlu or Alla Nani (Kapu), Rajanna Dora (ST). K Parthasarathy (Yadava, BC), M Sucharita (SC) and Amzad Basha (Minority).

It is a big development in the state politics as never in the past did any chief minister make such an experiment.

Hitherto, we have seen the CMs appointing two Deputy chief ministers.

Between 2014 and 2019, former chief minister and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu appointed two Deputy chief ministers—Nimmakayala Chinna Rajappa and K E Krishna Murthy.

In Telangana, too, there were two deputy chief ministers in the previous term – Mohammad Mahmood Ali and Kadiyam Srihari in K Chandrasekhar Rao cabinet. However, this time, KCR did not appoint any deputy CMs.

If Jagan gives them full powers, it will be more commendable; otherwise, if they are just ornamental posts as was the case with two deputy CMs in Telangana and AP in the previous terms.

Venkatesh to star in Telugu remake of ‘De De Pyaar De’

Hyderabad: Actor Venkatesh will star in the Telugu remake of Ajay Devgn’s latest release “De De Pyaar De”, producer Suresh Babu announced on Wednesday.

On the occasion of renowned production house Suresh Productions completing 55 years, its Managing Director Suresh Babu spoke to reporters and opened up about the banner’s upcoming projects.

“We are currently shooting ‘Venky Mama’ in Kashmir. The pre-production work on ‘Hiranyakashyapa’ (starring Rana Daggubati), which will be India’s biggest film, has been going on for three years now. As a company, we hope to make more films than before.

“We recently acquired the Telugu remake rights of ‘De De Pyaar De’ and it will star Venkatesh. We also have films planned with Tharun Bhascker and Trinadha Rao with Venkatesh,” Suresh Babu told reports.

He also said that they plan to make films in Tamil and Hindi.

On Suresh Productions clocking 55 years, Suresh said: “It’s not easy to stay relevant even after 55 years. We are really blessed to continue in the industry. What was once a production company is slowly turning into a content, talent management and technology company. This is a complete ecosystem that Rana and I are trying to put together”.

Suresh Productions’ upcoming release is Samantha Akkineni starrer Telugu comedy “Oh Baby”.

Telangana Cong to boycott assembly?

The Congress party in Telangana is likely to boycott all the assembly sessions to be held in future in protest against the merger of 12 of its MLAs with the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi under pressure.

According to sources in the Pradesh Congress Committee, the party leaders are said to be of the view that there was no point in attending the assembly which will anyway be one-sided affair, as the ruling party will not allow the Congress with just five or six members to raise any issue.

“The TRS will just bulldoze the proceedings and we, being in small numbers will have no voice. Moreover, we don’t like to see the faces of our own MLAs sitting in treasury benches,” a Congress leader said.

PCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy wondered how the defected MLAs could hold the meeting of legislature party without permission form the PCC.

“It is shameless on the part of the TRS to purchase our MLAs,” he said.

He pointed out that the Congress MLAs had not defected en masse to the TRS, but had defected one after the other.

“Each of the defectors have been paid crores to defect one at a time over the last four months. The disqualification petitions of the MLA s is pending with the Telangana Speaker for four months now,” he argued.
