Will Show Lakshmi’s NTR To Jagan

Share

The one person who is celebrating Chandrababu Naidu’s defeat most after YS Jagan is none other than Ram Gopal Varma. RGV is going on and on in social media over Naidu’s resounding defeat and is having the last laugh. In a fresh, RGV has visited Tirumala today and offered ‘special prayers’ to Lord Balaji as his long-delayed film Lakshmi’s NTR is finally releasing this week in AP.

RGV said he will have a special screening of Lakshmi’s NTR to CM YS Jagan. He said he will showcase the movie to YS Jagan after his swearing-in ceremony and said he will take his feedback.

Talking about his next film, ‘Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Redlu’, Varma said he will talk about it once he comes out of Lakshmi’s NTR. Ramu also said he is thoroughly happy with the whole journey of Lakshmi’s NTR since its beginning.

Jagan’s Swearing-In: Daughter Comes From London

Share

YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s elder daughter Varsha Reddy, who is studying at the prestigious London School of Economics, has now flown back to Hyderabad in order to attend her father’s swearing-in ceremony, on May 30. The massive and leading win of Jagan is leaving his family members and party colleagues in a celebration mood.

After hearing her father’s win, Varsha Reddy sent wishes to Jagan. The next day, she also went on to offer prayers at London Church. Varsha is a merit student and managing to get a seat in one of the top colleges in London is no joke.

It is reported that Jagan’s victory has made his daughter overwhelmed and she reportedly cannot wait to meet his father. The YSRCP stormed to power by grabbing 151 seats in State assembly. The party is the fourth largest party in the LS with 22 seats Parliamentary seats.

Reasons behind Chandrababu skipping Jagan’s event

Share

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu will not attend the swearing-in ceremony of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Vijayawada scheduled tomorrow. Instead Naidu will be sending three TDP leaders as a representation and even they won’t meet Jagan at the swearing ceremony. They will greet Jagan at his residence in Tadepalli and hand over a congratulatory message signed by Naidu.

But why is Chandrababu not attending the event? Are there any specific reasons and who advised him to stay away? Well, TDP leaders are the ones who have asked Naidu to skip the ceremony. According to the TDP leaders, the CM swearing ceremony was supposed to take place in Raj Bhavan which is Governor’s official bungalow. The capital Amaravati lacks Raj Bhavan and taking oath in Hyderabad is not appropriate as per YSRCP. Moreover the ‘FAN’ party has made arrangements at Indira Gandhi Municipal stadium like a party event in unprecedented way.

As per the TDP leaders suggest Chandrababu gave a second thought and decided to give it a miss. In the TDLP meeting Chandrababu informed the leaders to be watchful of the new government and then react on their governance.

6000 guests for Modi swearing ceremony

Narendra Modi will take oath as Prime Minister of India for the second time tomorrow. Rashtrapathi Bhavan is getting ready with unprecedented arrangements and like last time, Modi has preferred to swear-in in the forecourt at the President’s residence.

Regularly Durbar Hall hosts Prime Minister’s swearing ceremony but it can only accommodate 500 guests only. This is for the fourth time, a politician is going to take oath as PM in the forecourt of Rashtrapathi Bhavan. From the New Delhi sources, we hear that about 6000 guests will be gracing Modi’s swearing ceremony and tight security arrangements are being made. The guest list includes heads of state of 14 nations, ambassadors of various nations, public intellectuals, political activists, film stars and celebrities.

The Rashtrapathi Bhavan is also making food arrangements for the guests ranging from samosas to Rajbhog and lemon tarts. The dinner will include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu.

Telangana CM KCR, Andhra Pradesh’s CM designate YS Jagan and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee are among the guests.

Lokesh Serious On Sakshi’s ‘fake news report’

Share

Telugu Desam leader and party president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s son, Nara Lokesh, has written a letter to the editorial director of Sakshi Media Group condemning airing of false news reports on him by the Group’s television channel. He said that he would move the court seeking legal action against the news channel if it did not broadcast the corrigendum regarding the news report. The letter was tweeted by former TDP MP C.M Ramesh who also went ballistic about Sakshi TV.

On May 28, the television channel, in the breaking news section, broadcast report that Nara Lokesh had blamed the party leaders and activists for the TDP’s poll debacle. It even said that Lokesh questioned why had all the leaders lost in the polls except for a handful of leaders like party MP Galla Jayadev. Further, the news channel also reported that Lokesh said that the party leaders cheated TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu. He said that 90 per cent of the rout was caused by the party leaders and the remaining 10 per cent by the electronic voting machines (EVMs).

In the letter, Lokesh said that he participated in party founder N.T. Rama Rao’s birth anniversary celebrations in the party office at Mangalagiri. “It was broadcast that I made the comments at the party office in Guntur where Chandrababu Naidu took part in the birth anniversary celebrations,” he said. The TDP leader further clarified that he was not present in the Guntur party office and found fault with the news channel for airing false news.

He alleged that Sakshi news channel was trying to create rift among the TDP cadre and also bringing disrepute to him by broadcasting reports that were not true. “In the name of media, which is considered the fourth pillar in a democracy, Sakshi is stooping to abysmal level and playing cheap tricks,” he said.

Jagan to shut APNRT, rejig CRDA & EDB

Share

With YSR Congress winning AP Assembly Elections with a historic majority, doors are shutting for close aides of former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s list of technocrats who were given plum posts in government bodies. Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugus (APNRT) is one such body that was created for the welfare of Telugus living abroad which was headed by Ravi Vemuru.

It is learnt that Ravi Vemuru has sent his resignation to the Chief Secretary as soon as TDP faced a drubbing defeat in the state assembly elections. There is information that the Jaganmohan Reddy-led government which will be formed on May 30th is also planning to scrap APNRT. Additionally, the investments arm of the government – Economic Development Board (EDB) and Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) also will undergo a major overhaul.

Those heading EDB and CRDA are all known to be loyal to Chandrababu. Aware of this fact, YSR Congress is mulling to rejig both the authorities as several allegations of pending applications not being moved have come to light. It is also learnt that several land allotments are pending from the CRDA despite receiving a clearance in 2017 and after.

In fact, these irregularities in land allotments and the interference of APNRT in the tenders process has also got the YSRCP interested to understand why there has been such a delay and hence, is willing to launch a probe into this. Due to these alleged irregularities, EDB which is responsible for covering MoUs and EoIs into investments also has behaved irresponsibly, without grounding several projects.

With all the three bodies accused of allegedly interfering in land allotments, YSRCP has its eye on them and wants to clean the mess that the previous government reportedly created!

Modi 2.0: Arun Jaitley Out

Share

Current Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has curtailed down all the rumours that are making rounds in the political circles. Jaitley is not keeping good health these days as he is suffering from renal ailment. He also underwent surgeries and is currently recovering. So Jaitley has written to Narendra Modi that he can’t be part of NDA government 2.

The 66 year old wrote, “I am writing to you to formally request you that I should be allowed a reasonable time for myself, my treatment and my health and therefore, not be a part of any responsibility, for the present, in the new government.” Further Jaitley added “I would in future, for some time, like to keep away from any responsibility. This will enable me to concentrate on my treatment and health.”

So this confirms that Arun Jaitley will not be part of Narendra Modi’s next cabinet. Modi will take oath as Prime Minister for the second time and there are reports that couple of them will also swear-in as council of ministers.

Don’t Beg, Be Like King : Tammareddy to Jagan

Share

Film director Tammareddy Bharadwaj has said YS Jagan has emerged as an undisputed politician not just in Andhra Pradesh but also in the country. Tammareddy expresses his opinion and views in his YouTube channel, ‘Naa Aalochanalu’ and shared his thoughts on Jagan.

“Despite the Modi wave in the country and TDP’s government, Jagan came to power. He fought really hard for the last decade,” said Tammareddy. But the director found fault in Jagan’s statements made in Delhi. Addressing the media in the national capital, Jagan said had BJP won 250 Lok Sabha seats, YSRCP had good chances of demanding ‘special status’ to Andhra Pradesh but BJP is the single largest party now and they will do whatever they want.

Tammareddy objected this statement and said Jagan should ask for ‘Special Status’ like King but not like a begger. “During the dominant Congress phase, Tamil Nadu’s DMK used to get things from Delhi. NTR and then YSR have ruled Delhi for sometime and Jagan has the capabilities to do. He has been on the roads for a decade and now people have given him a huge mandate. So the Telugu pride is in Jagan’s hand. He should fight for special status like King,” said Tammareddy.

Will Chandrababu be pro-tem Speaker?

Share

After its unexpected defeat in the State Assembly elections, Telugu Desam Party Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu has accepted the drubbing at the hustings. However, with 23 MLAs, while he may be the Opposition Leader in the Legislative assembly, he now also has the opportunity to create a record by becoming a pro-tem Speaker.

Chandrababu Naidu is the senior-most leader in the house with a career spanning four decades — a three-time Chief Minister and a two-time Opposition leader. Generally, the senior-most leader gets the opportunity to be a pro-tem Speaker who facilitates the swearing-in of all the legislators of the House, before a Speaker is chosen for the assembly.

Meanwhile, it is not clear whether Chandrababu will accept this opportunity. In such a case, the next leader in line is Ganta Srinivasa Rao who stands the chance of becoming a pro-tem Speaker. It is now left to the TDP leadership to decide what they would do with this. However, it would be a good chance for Chandrababu to clear air that he welcomes the new government if he decides to become a pro-tem Speaker.

Telugu Star Directors Taking Hindi Classes Now!

Share

As the latest trailers and dialogue promos of Arjun Reddy Hindi version “Kabir Singh” are coming up, one could see that terrific sense of broken love in a gloomy setup the Telugu version delivered. And that comes to only one point.

Many directors from the south often tumble to make Hindi films with a great emotional conviction. They say that it is primarily due to the language barrier. Though Prabhudeva directed films in Bollywood, they never look so emotionally touching because he lacks grip over Hindi. And now, that explains how come Sandeep Reddy Vanga succeeded there.

As Sandeep happens to be from Telangana, he naturally got to speak Hindi from childhood in this Deccan region. That would have helped him big time in communication with actors and extracting terrific dialogues from dialogue writer Siddharth and Garima.

Well, the latest we hear is that many new generation star directors are secretly taking Hindi coaching now, as such classes will take them closer to Bollywood. Because if they could deliver a blockbuster in Bollywood as well, their stature will somewhat go up, is what they feel.

Security Increased for Paritala Family, Jagan Hailed

Share

Kurnool-range DIG Nagendra Kumar issued special orders increasing security to former minister Paritala Sunitha’s family. Eight more gunmen have been allocated to her family. It is learnt that with the YSR Congress coming to power in the state, the number of gunmen has been increased to avoid trouble to Sunitha’s family from the new government.

It is learnt that Sunitha expressed doubt over security to her family from the new government and the security has been heightened following it. The decision taken by Chief Minister designate Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is being hailed by the former minister’s followers.

Sunitha’s husband Paritala Ravindra was shot dead in broad daylight while coming out of TD party office in Anantapur on January 24, 2005. Ravi sustained a bullet injury in the head resulting in the instantaneous death while two others, his gunman and one of his supporters, were also killed in the shootout.

The accused escaped from the scene with some of their associates hurling bombs to facilitate their exit. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probed into the triple murder following allegations that former CM late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s son, Jagan Mohan Reddy, and minister J.C. Diwakar Reddy were behind the murder.

However, both of them were exonerated. It was concluded that age-old family rivalry between the families of Paritala Ravindra and Congress leader Gangula Surynarayana Reddy (Suri) led to the murder and that the latter hatched a conspiracy while he was undergoing sentence in the Jubilee Hills bomb blast case.

Jagan Paves Way For Ramana Deekshitulu’s Re-entry In TTD

Share

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) former chief priest Ramana Deekshitulu is likely to re-enter Tirumala as it is learnt that YSR Congress president and Chief Minister-designate Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has given the nod. Jagan visited the Tirumala shrine on Tuesday evening. During the YSRCP Chief’s visit, Ramana Deekshitulu reportedly went to meet Jagan at Padmavathi guest house where he was staying but the CM designate told him that he would meet him in the temple on Wednesday.

Then Deekshitulu reportedly told Jagan that they were not allowing him to enter the temple and so would speak to him at the guest house itself. Ramana Deekshitulu left the place in happiness thinking that a green signal was being for his re-entry into the temple after Jagan reportedly told him that he would look into the issue and speak to him in the temple on Wednesday.

Recently, Deekshitulu met Jagan in Kadapa before the poll results were declared and blessed him. At the same time, he urged the YSRC chief to think his removal from the TTD. The TTD former chief priest hogged the limelight by making controversies statement and levelling charges against the government’s decisions. Later, he began targeting the Telugu Desam Party and took objection to the decisions taken by the state government.

Following the allegations on digging the premises of the temple, discrepancies in according traditional welcome to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah, repercussions after holding discussion with BJP MP Subrahmanyam Swami , the TDP government removed Ramana Deekshitulu from the post. At that time, the YSR Congress took serious objection to the removal of the TTD chief priest and stood in support to him.
