Dhoni’s run-out made CSK lose its IPL title?
At last, Mumbai Indians lifted their 4th IPL trophy in Hyderabad on Sunday with great pride and joy. After Mumbai Indians had put 149 runs on the board, Chennai Super Kings could only muster 148, losing the match with just one run. It was definitely a nerve-wracking finish.
Sachin Tendulkar, who has been associated with the franchise of Mumbai Indians, told the host broadcaster that MS Dhoni’s run-out in the final was the ‘key moment’ of the match. He also went on to praise Bumrah’s crucial bowling moments. And the last over, Malinga finished the game out beautifully, said Sachin.
However, Dhoni’s run pout moment has now become a debate, calling it a false umpire decision. Dhoni walked in to bat with the score on 73/3 and he was declared run out when Ishan Kishan knocked the stumps with a direct hit. Dhoni’s bat was judged to be on the line. The Umpire took a long time and eventually, he decided not to give the advantage to the batsman.
During the presentation, Dhoni said that the team had a good season. “Today it was very funny as to how both these teams were only passing on the trophy from one team to the other,” he added. After settling as runners-up in the IPL 2019, Chennai Super Kings fetched a prize money of Rs. 12,50,00,000.

#GameOfThrones: Uggh! Danny Turns ‘Mad Queen’
After defeating the Night King, the whole Daenerys Targaryen, her unsullied and Dothraki armies and Jon Snow along with his Northern armies have marched to the capital Kings Landing. Reaching a while before, Danny lost her dragon after getting hit badly. And the rest is what we have seen in S08 E06 today.
It came like a shocker because the writers of the show have turned the character of Daenerys Targaryen into that of a Mad Queen like his father who is known as Mad King. Though the Lannister and Golden Company soldiers have put down their swords after Daenerys armies seized them, the Dragon Queen has raided the whole of Kings Landing and dripped it in the fire. As the capital got burnt to ashes, the likes of Jon Snow and Arya Stark look worried as to why Danny turned such a Mad Queen.
Currently, on the internet, everyone is cursing the writers of the show for making Danny’s character such a negative one. And next Monday will finish off the whole of Game Of Thrones forever!!
Oops! This School Doesn’t Belong To Mega Family
The whole of Tollywood is actually talking about the “Chiranjeevi International School” that was established in Srikakulam and how the mega family is getting into the education business. But the punch comes so stunning that mega family got nothing to do with this.
As the buzz is getting intensified about Chiranjeevi’s new charity arm, there is a criticism also that he ventured into the education business. Amidst these talks, the CEO of the school has released a press note saying that none of the mega family has anything to do with this school.
“We happen to be ardent supporters of Megastar and mega family and have started this school on his name for a cause. But neither mega family or megastar are involved with the school. We have given honourable positions to Chiranjeevi garu, Nagababu garu and Ram Charan out of love” said the CEO of the school.
Also we have to see if Mega family also clarifies about this school thing because many fans are right now thinking that Chiranjeevi himself has started this school.
Pic Talk: Malavika rocking in a pair of hot shorts!
Its summer and actress Malavika Sharma is raising the temperature a bit higher with her new camouflage shorts photoshoot. She pulled off the look with ease and is looking like a Persian doll.
With her amazing new pictures, Malavika captioned them with – ”She is too chubby, she needs to lose weight. She is too skinny, she needs to eat a burger. No, You’re too judgemental and you need to stop that shit. I didn’t upload my recent pictures for a long time because I was getting so many hate messages because I gained weight. Here it is… I love my body the way it is… I used to slay as a skinny girl and I am still slaying as a curvy girl Being skinny is ok. Not being skinny is ok. Having curves is ok. Not having curves is ok Bashing someone for their body type is not ok”.
Looks like the actress is irked by body-shaming behaviours and is preaching on how not to be judgmental on beauty ideals. Of course, Malavika is right and we agree to her views. With her perfect body, she also rocked impeccable hair bangs which well-suited her face structure. She is seen wearing a black top, flaunting her cleavage.
Nevertheless, her overall attire did a fantatic job complimenting her figure and of coure, we love it. With 491k followers on Instagram, Malavika is leaving her fans spellbound.
Joke: TDP demands ban on liquor!
When founder-president of Telugu Desam Party and former chief minister N T Rama Rao introduced total prohibition in the combined Andhra Pradesh, his own party leaders indulged in bootlegging and smuggling of illicit liquor from neighbouring states to mint money.
And when N Chandrababu Naidu usurped power from his father-in-law and became the chief minister, he quietly withdrew the prohibition and re-introduced liquor.
Subsequently, there have been allegations of the TDP leaders encouraging setting up of belt shops (unauthorized liquor outlets) in every nook and corner of the state.
Even now, belt shops and indiscriminately permitted bars, have become a good source of income for the government.
After seeing the YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy promising to lift prohibition in a phased manner, the TDP, too, has started raising its voice.
On Monday, senior TDP legislator and former minister Dokka Manikya Varaprasad demanded that t Prime Minister Narendra Modi implement ban on liquor across the country.
He was reacting against to the criticism launched by the BJP on TDP government over belt shops.
The TDP leader stated that if BJP was really genuine in controlling the flow of liquor, then they could as well put it in their manifesto, bring policy on it at national level.
Vara Prasad claimed that TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu is the only leader who can create confidence among public.
Kabir Singh Trailer: Arjun Reddy Recreated!
Arjun Reddy is not an easy film to remake. In fact, its Tamil remake directed by veteran filmmaker Bala has been scrapped when the film was nearing completion. Tamil producers felt the Bala’s version hasn’t done justice to the original.
The Hindi version however looks like a faithful and authentic remake of the cult film. Even Shahid Kapoor looks good as Kabir Singh.
He is particularly impressive with the bearded getup, but looks a bit old to play the medico. Kiara Advani looks good as the female lead.
Trailer of Kabir Singh has shown some of the sensational scenes from Arjun Reddy, which are sure going to grab the attention of those who haven’t watched the original.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga made sure to keep the soul intact and that arousing background score also is retained.
Let’s see whether the story of Arjun Reddy can repeat its sensation in Hindi markets too.
With fame came abuse & mental torture: RCB fangirl
Deepika Ghose, who became an overnight sensation after being spotted cheering for Virat Kohli’s men in one of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s games in the just concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) has said that life hasn’t been the same for her since the video went viral. Disappointed at how she is now seen only as an RCB fangirl, Deepika said that there is definitely more to her personality.
It was during RCB’s game against Sunrisers Hyderabad that Deepika was spotted by one of the host broadcaster’s cameramen at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The video went viral the next day and she even got a verified status on the photo-blogging website Instagram.
Now, she has made an Instagram post, wherein she has spoken about the moment when she was spotted in the IPL and what it has led to ever since.
“My name is Deepika Ghose & that is probably the only thing that is being said about me which is 100% TRUE,” she said.
Deepika, who has been going to watch RCB matches for years now with her family, had no idea this match would be any different.
“I did not want any recognition or realise the number of times that I was on camera. I am no celebrity, just an ordinary girl who was enjoying the match. I did nothing to warrant the kind of attention that ensued after the TV images appeared and I certainly did not seek it,” said Deepika.
She added that while she was grateful for all the love she has been receiving, she is also disturbed by the unnecessary negativity. “It has been an extreme case of abuse, trauma and mental torture. I am confused as to how people found my name/profile.
“My identity, privacy and life have been hacked in an instant. A lot of the overnight followers are men who have used this platform to be crude, vulgar, vicious & entirely disrespectful.
“Even more shocking is the hate I have received from women. How quick & cruel you have been to say mean things to & about me without even knowing me. I AM ONE OF YOU!” she added.
Deepika maintained that the world desperately needs more women supporting and uplifting each other.
“I am appalled by how I have been judged & condemned instead of being given a compassionate hearing. Stop & think about how it is as a girl to have been subjected to this unwanted attention,” she said.
She further said she will turn herself into something genuine, meaningful and fabulous.
“Yes, I am #theRCBgirl but I am SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT,” Deepika ended the post.
Falaknuma Das trailer: About a thug of Old City
Hero ‘victory’ Venkatesh has launched the trailer of ‘Falaknuma Das.’ Like the teaser, this trailer also offers a lot of cuss words from the beginning to the end.
It’s all about Das played by Vishwak Sen of ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ fame who is born and brought up in Falaknuma and loves the vibes of the place.
He wants to do some business in Falaknuma and get settled but things don’t turn up as anticipated.
Das has badass attitude like a typical Hyderabadi and doesn’t care to bash up anyone who come opposite to him. He has a romantic angle too and locks lips with the female leads.
This film also marks the directorial debut of Vishwak Sen. Then comes director Tharun Bhascker. He essays a cop and handles the gang fights of Das and others.
Overall, ‘Falaknuma Das’ trailer is racy and it’s a Suresh Productions presentation.
Millionaires leaving India in large numbers
New Delhi: A new report suggests that Indians who have the means to quit the country are doing so and in increasing numbers. India saw the third highest outflow of wealthy individuals last year.
Nearly 5,000 millionaires, or high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), left the country, which is 2% of the total number of HNWIs in India, says the Global Wealth Migration Review 2019 by AfrAsia Bank and research firm New World Wealth.
The net outflow of HNWIs that India saw in 2018, was even faster than the UK, which is in the middle of a turmoil owing to Brexit.
The UK for the last three decades was ranked among the countries with the highest number of inflow of wealthy individuals but the trend reversed in the last two years, thanks to Brexit. China topped the list, as its economy is starting to show the impact of the trade battle with the United States.
