RP planning to take over I-News?
Founder of popular Telugu television channel TV9 V Ravi Prakash, who was sacked as chief executive officer and director of the channel on Friday does not want to fade out from the field just like that.
According to sources close to him, Ravi Prakash has already started moving pawns to acquire another loss-making Telugu channel I-News, which had once emerged as a powerful alternative to TV9. With the management of the channel changing hands, it has now become more or less defunct.
Though Ravi Prakash is presently running Mojo TV, it does not have any major infrastructure and the reporters are sending through their mobile phones.
Sometimes, Ravi Prakash was allegedly diverting the equipment of TV9 for covering news in Mojo TV.
That is precisely why Ravi Prakash is planning to take over I-News channel. At present, the channel is in the hands of Nallari Kishore Kumar Reddy, brother of former chief minister of combined Andhra Pradesh Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Since Kishore is in Telugu Desam Party, Ravi Prakash is said to be using his good offices with the TDP bosses to acquire the channel and revamp it.
All said and done, I-News has an excellent infrastructure, including studio, cameras and other equipment like OB Vans etc.
Once the channel comes into the hands of Ravi Prakash, he can attract good journalists and anchors, besides technical staff from TV9.
Having entrepreneurial abilities, Ravi Prakash can turn around the loss-making I-News into a profitable venture!
Why did Naidu bow before people?
While campaigning during the assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh on April 11, Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had displayed unusual postures to seek people’s votes.
After completing his speech at every road show, Naidu was found bending and bowing his head completely before the people. In fact, it was never ever his style. Such a gesture indicated how desperate Naidu was to come to power again.
On Saturday, Naidu gave an explanation on his unusual posture.
He said he had for the first time bowed before people only appeal to them them to save AP from the conspiracy hatched by the BJP government at the Centre with the help of Telangana Rashtra Samithi and YSR Congress party.
Naidu said his appeal had brought about a perceptible change in the people which was evident from their participation in large numbers in exercising their franchise.
The TDP chief also claimed that he had seen similar change in the people’s attitude across the country. He said the people were vexed with the hyped Gujarat formula of Narendra Modi and they had decided to defeat the saffron party.
“It is this fear that has been haunting the Prime Minister and the frustration was manifesting in the form of resorting to degraded politics and calling the dead as Brashtachari No 1,” he said.
He said indications were that the verdict would be fractured one and regional parties would play a key role in forming the next government.
Naidu stated that the downfall of the Modi government began from the day he started ignoring Andhra Pradesh and the way he went on hatching conspiracy after conspiracy to stifle the administration in the state by brining all important projects like Polavaram to a grinding halt.
This time, after coming back to power, Naidu said that he would pick up one assembly constituency under the Lok Sabha constituency and would convert it into a model constituency.
Telangana Congress leaders publicly clash over chair
Hyderabad: In a huge embarrassment to the Congress at an opposition protest meet here on Saturday, senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao clashed with another leader publicly and collapsed during a fight over a chair.
Former member of Rajya Sabha Hanumantha Rao and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) spokesman M. Nagesh pushed each other on the dais in the presence of AICC General Secretary and in-charge of party affairs R.C. Khuntia and leaders of various opposition parties.
The commotion broke out during a meeting organised by the opposition parties at Indira Park to protest goof-up by the Telangana Board of Intermediate Examination in results declared.
Rao, who was holding the mike to invite leaders on the stage, took objection to Nagesh occupying a chair meant for Khuntia. A heated exchange ensued between the two and soon they started pushing each other even as other leaders tried to pacify them.
In the melee, Nagesh collapsed on the ground. He stood up and pushed Rao, who too fell down leaving the leaders and other protestors in shock.
Leaders of Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Communist Party of India (CPI), Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) and others intervened to bring the situation under control.
Khuntia, state Congress chief Uttam Kumar Reddy and other senior leaders took a serious view of the incident.
The day-long protest meeting was called by the Congress and other opposition parties over the bungling by the Board of Intermediate Education in the results of Intermediate (11th and 12th standard).
The parties had also invited parents of 22 students who committed suicide over the failure in the exams. The opposition has blamed the government for the suicides and demanded compensation for their families.

Both Venky and Varun felt that it is amazing to give voice to such a big scale entertainer and felt that the film will amaze Telugu audiences like never before. Looks like Telugu audiences will be in for a feast with F2 pair uniting again.
Biggest Punch To #ChaySam’s Majili
One of the super hit films of this season is none other than Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s Majili, which was directed by Siva Nirvana. The film has already made 40 crores share from the box office and emerged as the biggest solo hit of the Akkineni star.

Pic Talk: Kajal claps for her manager’s production
Tall beauty Kajal Aggarwal’s manager Ronnson Joseph is turning as producer and the film is launched today in Hyderabad.
This film will have noted producer Raj Kandukuri’s son Shiva in the male lead role is while Megha Akash is the female lead.
Titled ‘Manu Charita’ the film will be directed by Bharath Kumar P and music is by Gopi Sundar.
Kajal clapped the sound board for the first scene while on the lead pair while Ajay Bhupathi directed the first scene and C Kalyan switched on the camera. Director Sudheer Varma and prosucer Sahu Garapati have handed over the script.
‘Manu Charitra’ is touted to be an intense love story and the regular shooting will commence from this month.

Directed by Raj Kiran under the ‘guidance’ of Kona Venkat, Geethanjali (2014) is a super hit horror film that featured Telugu beauty Anjali in the lead. And now, Kona Venkat has initiated Geethanjali 2 with her, a couple of months ago.
Reports are doing rounds that the producer of the film is not happy with the way Kona Venkat is handling the project and the overall story is also said to be cliched. For that reason, the sequel is said to have got halted big time recently. The producer is not willing to go ahead with the project it seems.
And another rumour we’re hearing is that the rumoured director, an NRI from the USA, is said to be directing the film in a mediocre way. After watching the film’s first schedule rushes, the whole unit has got shocked with his work, a source said.
Also there are rumours that Anjali is getting married hence the film got stopped, but other day the Razole beauty has given clarity that there is no truth in such thing and she’s not getting married any sooner.
Mahesh Going Back To Aagadu Theme For Fun
With Maharshi hitting cinemas, Mahesh Babu is going to take a couple of months break from work, before he actually starts shooting for director Anil Ravipudi’s movie. And already the Superstar revealed that this film is going to be another Dookudu like stuff for him.
Reports are coming that there will Aagadu theme touched in Anil Ravipudi’s movie. That is nothing but the Rayalaseema slang with a dose of satire and comedy. Though Aagadu was directed by Sreenu Vaitla, majority of the comedy part of the film was written by Anil Ravipudi only. Later this young writer left for his directorial debut Pataas, leaving Aagadu’s fate in the doldrums.
It looks like Anil will now incorporate his thoughts developed for Mahesh during that time and carve out a new age comedy entertainer.
