We have two popular and talented actors celebrating their birthdays today – Vijay Deverakonda and Sai Pallavi. Sai Pallavi is a synonym for Fidaa. Her role will linger for a long, long time as a Telangana girl. As an independent lady, Pallavi inspired many girls and her dialogues became famous for being high on wit. She looked gorgeous the whole film in half sarees and looked perfect as a beautiful village girl.
Middle-Class Abbayi:
With a decent hit at the box office, the film had beautiful dance moves from Sai Pallavi. She also managed well in a homely girl character. However, MCA film is all about teamwork and as one of the versatile performers in the film, Pallavi succeeded in bringing the charm out of the story.
Her other film, Premam (Malayalam), as Malar, is what made her won over audiences. She is still recognized as a Malar for many people and this role gave her a clear path to her film career. News About My Arrest Is Fake: ‘CEO’ Ravi Prakash From ‘TV9’ Studio
As we know how a massive number of piled-up news and sensation headlines appeared today on renowned journalist/TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash. It is reported that he has been terminated as the CEO from TV9 channel and he is absconding for two days over the allegations of forgery and diverting of funds. However, just a few minutes ago, Ravi Prakash himself went live on TV9 channel, rubbishing all the rumours appeared today. He reiterated all the false statements and rumours made on him and said that even National media is airing wrong information on him.
He clarified that “I’m Ravi Prakash and I’m still the founder and CEO of prestigious TV9 channel”. He also said that he is currently talking from the headquarters in Banjara Hills. He, sarcastically, said that other channels who are showing concern on him, can stop now and he is extremely grateful for this.
He went to say that he has been working all fit and active since 17 years and will continue to do so. Ravi Prakash also preached on what genuine journalism is. He said publishing biased, hypocritical, and hoax scrollings on TV are not the real thing and in fact, journalism should be productive to the society’s welfare.
He conveyed a message to his well-wishers on not to worry over his whereabouts and said that he came on live today only to update his healthy status.
US Premieres: Maharshi Posts Shocking Low Number
Superstar Mahesh Babu, known as king of overseas market, has failed to bring in audiences to the theaters in big way with his latest release ‘Maharshi’.
Since it is his 25th movie, the distributors had arranged premieres show in large of number screens anticipating a minimum of $1 million opening from premiere shows.
In a shocking manner, the film grossed just above $500k, which is nothing but low number.
Mahesh Babu’s previous two movies “Spyder” and “Bharat Ane Nenu” had grossed $1 million each from premiere shows, while ‘Maharshi’ had got half the amount.

Kalki Trailer: Rajasekhar Hits Back At Gabbar Singh Jibe!
Rajasekhar’s upcoming film Kalki has turned heads with an intriguing teaser. The dialogue-less teaser has not only grabbed attention but also ensured superb business for the film.
The trailer of Kalki is no different with equally interesting visuals and captivating background score.
The surprise package in the trailer is Rajasekhar hitting back at the jibe from Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh Antyakshari episode.
Rajasekhar not only repeated the dialogue ‘Em Septhiri em septhiri’, which Pawan Kalyan delivered to mock the veteran but also gives a nice kick to the junior actor who imitated him in the same episode.
This adds fun to an otherwise serious and thrilling trailer. Director Prashanth Varma who made an impressive debut with Awe seems to have made another interesting film on a larger scale.
Kalki trailer will only up the already soaring hype and expectations around the film. Rajasekhar is taking giant steps towards getting back to his glory days.
Why Superstar asked Kiara to change her name
Actress Kiara Advani says superstar Salman Khan asked her to change her first name because of Alia Bhatt.
Kiara revealed this in an episode of Voot’s “Feet Up with the Stars Season 2”, read a statement.
“Aaliya is my first name. Salman Khan suggested me to change it because of Alia Bhatt because there can’t be two actresses with the same name in Bollywood,” Kiara said.
“He suggested the change, but ‘Kiara’ is the name that I chose. Now even my parents have started to call me Kiara,” she added.
The actress also spoke about how she bagged “Lust Stories” without auditioning for the role.
Recalling her experience, Kiara said: “Karan Johar has an eye for it. He spots a performer and he knows how to get it done.”
When Kiara was filming for a scene with vibrator for “Lust Stories”, Karan told her: “Don’t make it a caricature, just be raw and do it. It’s a funny scene but don’t make it funny.”
Since starting her career in 2014 with the film “Fugly”, Kiara has appeared in a film like “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story”, “Machine”, “Lust Stories”, “Kalank” and Telugu films like “Bharat Ane Nenu” and “Vinaya Vidheya Rama” among others.
On the film front, Kiara is a part of “Good News”, “Kabir Singh”, “Shershaah” and the “Kanchana” remake.
Actress poses with Pakistani flag
Actress and controversy queen Rakhi Sawant has ruffled feathers once again on the social media. This time, by posing with the Pakistan flag.
On Wednesday, Rakhi shared a photograph of herself on Instagram. She is seen dressed in a feather skirt with thigh-high slit paired with a halter neck and low-cut blouse, and adorns a Pakistan flag.
With the picture, came a disclaimer from Rakhi: “I love my India but it is my character in the film ‘Dhara 370’.”
But fans weren’t too impressed.
Later, Rakhi posted two videos to make her stance clear. She said the film “Dhara 370” is based on Kashmiri Pundits.
In another video, she said: “I would like to tell people that I am playing a Pakistani girl (in the film). People from Pakistan too have a heart… All of them are not bad. Some people, who ask children to commit jihad against their people and country… The ones who are against Allah. I respect people from Pakistan.”
Rakhi is an avid social media user and she keeps grabbing headlines for her antics.
She rose to fame with her appearance on the first season of the controversial Indian reality television series “Bigg Boss” in 2006. She was also seen in films like “Masti”, “Main Hoon Na”, “Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne”, “Dil Bole Hadippa!” and “Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain”.
Temple Run: Tirupati temple has 9,259 kg gold
Tirupati: The Sri Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala here owns 9,259 kg of gold deposited with various banks and in its treasury, a senior temple official said on Monday.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), which manages the affairs of the country’s richest temple, has 5,387 kg of gold with the State Bank of India and 1,938 kg of gold with the Indian Overseas Bank under gold deposit schemes.
TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal said Punjab National Bank (PNB) returned 1,381 kg of gold on April 20 as the three-year scheme had reached the maturity.
In addition, TTD treasury has 553 mixed gold, comprising small jewellery.
A day after the Andhra Pradesh government ordered an inquiry into the alleged lapses into the release and transportation of 1,381 kg gold in the wake of its seizure by the Election Commission in Tamil Nadu, the TTD EO told a news conference that PNB had total responsibility of the gold till delivering it to TTD treasury.
The gold was seized in Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu on April 17 when it was being brought back from PNB’s branch in Chennai to the TTD treasury in Tirupati.
He denied media reports that TTD showed documents to the Election Commission claiming ownership of the gold. Singhal made it clear that they were in no way concerned with the security and transportation of the gold as it was the responsibility of the PNB.
After the seizure of the gold, the Income Tax department asked the TTD to send an official in connection with the investigations. The TTD official informed the IT that PNB was supposed to deliver the gold at the TTD treasury on April 18.
The gold seizure a day before the elections in Tamil Nadu triggered a row with TTD initially denying that the gold belonged to it.
Singhal defended the stance taken by the temple body. “It is TTD gold when it reaches the treasury. How do we know how much gold the truck was carrying and what was its transportation route,” he asked.
On criticism for transportation the gold in the midst of elections, he dismissed this as coincidence. He said the maturity date was known when 1,311 kg gold was deposited with PNB in 2016.
He said TTD had written a letter to PNB on March 27 that gold deposit will be reaching maturity on April 18 and asked it to deliver the gold at treasury along with the interest (70 kg gold).
He said under the gold deposit gold scheme, the banks are paid one per cent commission and 1.5 per cent handling charges which includes gold purity testing, transportation, storage and other costs.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary L.V. Subrahmanyam on Sunday ordered an inquiry in the wake of gold seizure.
He asked Special Chief Secretary, Revenue, Manmohan Singh, to find out the lapses, if any, on the part of PNB and TTD and submit a report on or before April 23.
The inquiry officer was asked to see if there were written instructions issued by the Executive Officer, TTD, and what was the role of the TTD vigilance wing. The officer will also report on what special care and monitoring the vigilance wing of TTD has to take.

Ravi Prakash removed as TV9 CEO
Noted journalist Ravi Prakash has been terminated from the CEO position of TV9 channel by Alandha Media Company. Based on the allegations of forgery and diverting of funds, this decision was taken by the new management of TV9. We hear that 10TV CEO Singa Rao has been appointed as new CEO of TV9.
Ravi Prakash holds eight percent stake in TV9. But he is trying to dominate the day-to-day operations in TV9 and is said to be not completely mingling with the new management. He is taking decisions unilaterally which the management did not approve and there occurred differences between both.
Cyber Crime police have held raids at TV9 office and Ravi Prakash’s residence. The police who have registered a case want to arrest Ravi Prakash but he is in absconding and the cops have launch a search operation for him.
Associated Broadcasting Company Limited (ABCL) is set up Ravi Prakash and under which TV9 channel was floated. Srini Raju holds major stake in ABCL and he recently sold it to Alandha Media Company. The company’s secretary Koushik Rao has filed the cyber crime case against Ravi Prakash.
