I saved your dad : VH to KTR
The war of words between All India Congress committee (AICC) former general secretary-Congress senior leader V. Hanumantha Rao and Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao intensified with the latter terming VH a buffoon, while reacting to the remarks by the Opposition party leaders on the Inter results fiasco.
The Opposition parties blamed KTR for the death of 24 Inter students following irregularities in the results declared. The Congress leaders alleged that KTR had links with Globarea Technologies, which was given the tender to process the Inter results. They said that KTR’s brother-in-law knew the director of Globarena.
When KTR denied that he had any links with Globarena, Congress leader VH even threw down a gauntlet to KTR to swear about the same in front of goddess Peddamma Thalli by visiting the temple at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. When KTR failed to turn up, VH said that it showed KTR has links with Globarena.
Further, he even cursed at the temple that the TRS government should topple in the state in the next couple of years. Responding to this, KTR said that the Opposition party was unnecessarily politicising the issue only to gain mileage as the government had already taken up re-verification of the Inter answer sheets. Further, he termed VH a buffoon and likened him to a ‘dog’ that keeps growling unnecessarily.
Hurt by these remarks, VH suggested that KTR, son of KCR, should mind his words and that it only showed his attitude. He said that KCR’s son should remember that it was he who had given a political career to his father and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
“At that time, AP in-charge of Congress party affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad directed expulsion of KCR for misconduct in the party. However, I restrained from doing so and suggested that KCR join the political party Telugu Desam, floated by N.T. Rama Rao then. If KCR was expelled from the party, he would have never been able to enter into politics again and his political career would have been nipped in the bud,” the Congress senior leader reminded.
The Congress leader said that he would prove who was a buffoon when the time comes. At the same time, he also demanded that Marri Srinivas Reddy should be encountered for having killed three girls brutally at Hajipir. He also demanded that the TRS government should provide financial assistance to the victims’ families.
Only Pawan Can Speak Fearlessly In Telangana
Jana Sena Narsapur MP candidate and actor Naga Babu said Pawan Kalyan is the one and only man in Telangana who can open his mouth and speak fearlessly and it is evident in the intermediate exam results that had loopholes.
Speaking at the Lok Sabha and assembly candidates committee meeting, Naga Babu raised this topic which is in headlines for the past one week. “The so called paid artists and politicians, did not speak or raise their voice in this whole episode. Why are they in so much fear? Our Jana Sena student and youth staged a very good protest at PragathI Bhavan and our party has that guts to question any one. It was Pawan Kalyan, who did not criticise the government heads but found fault with the system. After that Telangana CM has announced re-verification and re-valuation for free,” said Naga Babu.
The actor turned politician also opined that after Pawan’s call, the government reacted but it was too late by then, as the death toll of students increased. If the government would have reacted a bit early, then at least 10 student lives could have been saved.
Then Naga Babu appealed to the Jana Sena cadre in Telangana to win the trust of people for the local body polls and make sure the party gets a secure place.
The Curious Case of Hajipur Killings & Telangana Govt’s silence
Amidst the noise of Intermediate students suicides rocking the state, another crucial case of a missing 14-year-old girl has unravelled a deep and gory story of the rape of murder of three young girls in the state over the past four years by a serial killer. The a dried up well in Hajipur had the skeletal remains of the missing girl, along with three other girls, which the Telangana police had traced.
The case came to light when the parents of the 14-year-old girl registered a complaint with the Bommalaramaram mandal a week ago. The killer, Srinivas Reddy, a 27-year-old, confessed to sexually assaulting and killing the girl and revealed that he had buried her deep in a well in his agriculture land. He also confessed to other cases of missing girls founded dead and said that he raped them before he killed them.
Explaining his modus operandi to the police during an investigation, Srinivas said that he would track the movement of these minor girls going to school or college for a few days and then, offer them a lift till their house. He, somehow, forcibly makes them sit on his bike and takes them to his agricultural land, rapes and kills them.
The disturbing details revealed by Srinivas Reddy have caused an outrage among locals who alleged that the local police has been lackadaisical despite complaints of missing girls from 2015. Unfortunately, the Telangana government is still yet to respond on such a chilling turn of events. Neither has the Chief Minister nor have any other leaders from the TRS party responded on the issue of ensuring safety for women and girls.
This lack of response from the government is also making many citizens question the attitude of the government towards such horrific cases where young people’s lives are at stake. Many in Telangana are already upset with the government’s blame-game on the Opposition on the Telangana inter results goof-up that led to the suicides of nearly 20 students. Will this stir up another hornet’s nest for the Telangana government? We are yet to see.
Rumour: Pooja Hegde Caught In Drunk Driving?
More and more celebs are getting caught in drunk drive checks these days, and somehow they are standing as bad examples. And the latest rumor says that other day happening heroine Pooja Hegde got caught in drunk driving in Hyderabad.
After wrapping the Maharshi pre-release event, Pooja and her team along with their manager went to a noted five-star hotel in Hyderabad for the after-party. After getting drunk, the team exited in the manager’s car as per rumors doing rounds. Though Pooja is not in the driving seat what caught by Hyderabad cops, as a celebrity she should not have encouraged her manager to drive the car.
Reportedly her manager is said to have submitted his driving license to the cops before they seized the car. We hear that Pooja and her team left in another car from the spot before any media house makes a scene of it.
Some media folks who got to know of this commented, ‘generally people (especially celebs) think that cops will not conduct drunk drive checks on weekdays. But Hyderabad cops are always on alert’.
Trisha’s mother rubbishes rumours
Dusky beauty Trisha got a much needed success with ’96’ and now she is mostly doing the female-oriented film. ‘Raangi’ is the upcoming movie of her and director AR Murugadoss has provided the script for this movie.
On the sets, Trisha is rumored to have fallen unconscious and was rushed to the hospital. Though no one from the team acknowledged this, social media is strongly talking about Trisha’s health condition.
Rubbing these rumors, Trisha’s mother Uma Krishnan said there is no truth in them and Trisha is doing absolutely fine. She is shooting day and night for the film and it is coming out quite well.

He stated that there were times she will cry on the sets of NGK after she failed to do particular scene or shot.
“This film is such a political thriller that it demanded lots of acting from all the leads. Especially from Sai Pallavi who plays the role of protagonist’s wife, director Sri Raghava (Selva Raghavan) wanted more from her. At times when she failred to deliver the needful, she broke into tears” said Surya, adding, “She’s such a passionate actress I’ve ever seen”.
Surya revealed that even he himself has learned many things from the director after acting in this movie. “This film is a political vision of Selva Raghavan and it is a beautiful take we have to say” signs off Surya.

‘Mahesh will become a director one day’
Glamorous beauty Pooja Hegde, who is all set to rock big screens with one of the awaited flicks Maharshi, opposite Mahesh Babu, has graced the pre-release event yesterday.
Pooja, during her speech, said that ‘Mahesh will become a successful film director one day’. She also said that working with Maharshi team is an unforgettable experience in her life. “I learnt a lot of good things from Mahesh. His voice modulation is amazing. He will, one day, definitely go on to become a successful director. His perspective of viewing things has always been different and unique,” she added.
However, Mahesh reacted to pooja’s statements in his speech by saying, ‘I will never get into direction. It is not my forte’ and I cannot even imagine myself as a director. I’m an actor and all I need to do is entertain the audience with my acting talent. Let me do my work and let directors do their work (laughs)’.

The trailer of ‘Maharshi’ was screened to the thousands of fans at People’s Plaza in Necklace road, after which director Vamsi Paidipally stepped in to ask, “How did you like it fans? Are those elevation shots of your hero satisfactory?”. Well, that sounded like a bit of overconfidence for sure, but the director has something else to say.
“Mahesh is a superstar, not just as an actor, but as a human being. Whenever I felt low, he used to back me up. He has sent me SMSes at night, saying that our journey will have commas but no full stops”, revealed Vamsi, about his bonding with the Superstar. Later he added, “I am promising in front of all your fans sir, I am giving a blockbuster to you”, talking directly to Mahesh.
“I’m not saying this overconfidence. I know the product we have made. Like already many revealed, the climax of the film will break you into tears. You will know that on May 9th” said Vamsi, further stressing on the film’s result. Let’s hope the directors assumptions will come true.
What Is Samantha Doing In Portugal?
After the super success of Majili at the box office, queen bee Samantha Akkineni is actually taking a long break before she joins films yet again. Earlier she mentioned that after promoting Oh Baby, then she will join the shooting of 96 remake featuring Sharwa in the lead.
But as a surprise, Samantha shared on her Instagram story that she’s very much in Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal. And that explains many things. Samantha is actually in the European city not just for fun and relaxing, but for the shooting of Manmadhudu 2 which is happening right there.
While Sam will be seen in a small cameo along with Chay, currently she’s finishing her part of the shoot. She has two reasons to do this cameo, one is that Nagarjuna is her father in law and other is that director Rahul Ravindran is her first film’s hero, and also her good friend Chinmayi’s husband.
After wrapping the Portugal shoot, Sam might spend her whole of summer in European escapades before returning to India to promote Oh Baby and join other film shootings.

Pawan Kalyan Teaming Up With Harish Shankar
While the results of AP elections are yet to come, it looks like Pawan Kalyan is already in the process of paying back the loans he took from some film producers. And his first focus is on fulfilling the advance taken from Mythri Movie Makers, say some reports.
Though Pawan stated that he kept out films as his political journey has started, there are always reports that he will switch to films post the election. With Janasena not surely in a position to come to power, surely Pawan will get plenty of time to do films. And now, it looks like he has given nod to three such projects.
Reportedly Mythri Movie Makers are said to have brought in Harish Shankar to narrate a story to Pawan Kalyan. As this director already crafted Pawan’s career turning blockbuster Gabbar Singh, it will be easy for him to convince the superstar again. Earlier Mythri pitched a couple of stories through Santosh Srinivas but they didn’t materialise.
In the meantime, Harish is directing Varun Tej in Valmiki, which happens to be a remake of Tamil movie Jigarthanda.
Manchu hero announces fourth child arrival
Hero Manchu Vishnu and his wife Viranica are expecting their fourth child. Short while ago, Vishnu took to his Twitter handle to make this announcement and also shared a picture. In it Vishnu is seen hugging Viranica from behind at the famous Brooklyn bridge, New York and both are super happy.
He wrote that the place is Viranica’s favourite one and they both are delighted on the arrival of fourth angel.
Vishnu is already blessed with three kids. The first are twins, Ariana and Viviana. The third is a boy and he was named after Vishnu’s father, Mohan Babu, Avram Bhakta Manchu.
On the work front, Vishnu is scouting locations for his upcoming movie which is touted to be a big budget fantasy drama.
