Beautiful Kalyani Made Another Wrong Move?
Though Akhil’s second film “Hello” has impressed partially despite the fact that Vikram K Kumar directed it, leading lady Kalyani Priyadarshan impressed all with her beautiful looks. But it looks like this youngster is struggling to get her foot right.
Recently, Kalyani is seen in Chitralahari in a very small role which has good dialogues but not much of anchor into the story. But then, she’s not picking some good lead roles and opting for second leads or parallel lead where screentime will be taken away by other happening starlets.
In Sharwa-Sudheer Varma film, she will be the part heroine with Kajal Agarwal grabbing most of the space. And then she is said to have signed Nithin’s Bheesma as well, where happening starlet Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady. If Kalyani continues like this, maybe single lead roles won’t come her way, say observers.
However, the success of these upcoming films will be decided whether Kalyani made the wrong move or right move. Because the likes of Sai Pallavi have done films like Premam where there are three heroines, and still shined.

Samantha confirms doing cameo ‘Manmadhudu 2’
Actress Samantha Akkineni, who is basking in the success of her latest Telugu outing “Majili”, has confirmed signing a cameo in her father-in-law Akkineni Nagarjunas upcoming romantic comedy “Manmadhudu 2”.
Samantha confirmed it without divulging much information.
“I play a very interesting extended cameo in ‘Manmadhudu 2′. At the moment, I’m not allowed to reveal anything about my character, but can vouch that it’s going to be an important one in the story. I am really looking forward to start shooting,” she said.
“Manmadhudu 2”, which has gone on the floors, stars Nagarjuna and Rakul Preet in the lead roles.
The film, currently being shot in Portugal, is being directed by actor-filmmaker Rahul Ravindran.
Also starring Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh and Nasser in crucial roles, “Manmadhudu 2” has music by Chaitan Bharadwaj.
Meanwhile, Samantha’s “Majili” has turned out to be a blockbuster. The film has already grossed over Rs 50 crore worldwide at the ticket window.
“Majili”, which revolves around the ups and downs in a marriage, is the first outing for Samantha and Naga Chaitanya post their marriage in 2017.

Finding a heroine is a simple thing for directors like Puri Jagan, but for some, it will be quite tough to choose a heroine. And they might take years as well.
For his debut, Akhil Akkineni has done a lot of homework to bring a big starlet including the likes of Alia Bhatt and those consultations wasted him huge time. Then finally he has chosen Sayyesha Saigal as his leading lady. And for his second film Hello, while locking the script took two years, it took many months to find Kalyani Priyadarshan. But only for his third flick Mr Majnu, he locked Nidhie Aggarwal just like that as she has already sizzled with his brother Naga Chaitanya.
Here come the woes for his next, if we have to believe, as they say, that director Bommarillu Bhaskar and Akhil are searching for a heroine from last four months. Reports are coming that this duo is not happy with some hotties with their screen test and some hotties are said to be demanding huge, which Geetha Arts is not willing to pay.
