Same Target For Bellamkonda And Kajal!
Director Teja is coming up with an interesting heroine oriented flick after the super success of his Nene Raju Nene Mantri. While he was supposed to direct NTR biopic, he is now coming up with Sita, featuring Kajal Agarwal in the title role and Bellamkonda Srinivas as the hero.
Releasing on April 19th, Sita got sold at 18 crores when it comes to the theatrical rights of the film. In recent times, Bellamkonda Srinivas never helped his films get past the safety mark at the box office. His last film, Kavacham, where he got paired with same Kajal Aggarwal, has got sold at the same price of 18 cr but has recovered only 4.9+ crores from the box office.
While the trailer of Sita sounded okay with the negative character of Kajal, how far audiences will like that version is going to decide the fate of this flick. While director Teja has made a dashing comeback with Nene Raju Nene Mantri, the major credit of the film went to the way Rana ran the total show.
Hope Bellamkonda will score the first big hit of his career, thereby making his producers swim to safe shores easily.

While the film’s theatrical business is estimated at Rs 22 Crore, the film has crossed the break-even and is inching towards a blockbuster.
While Sahu’s maiden production Krishnarjuna Yudham was a debacle, his second production Majili has broken the jinx and scored success. The makers of Majili have called for a grand success meet tomorrow in Hyderabad.
Interesting take on Chandrbabau’s majority in Kuppam
Having represented Kuppam assembly constituency half-a-dozen times from 1989, Chandrababu’s victory here for the seventh time is a cake walk. But in the last two terms, the majority of Chandrababu came down and so once again there is a discussion about the majority because Kuppam result trend will directly fall on Chittoor Lok Sabha seat. YSR Congress party has put in a lot of efforts to bring down Chandrababu’s majority in this elections.
TDP sensed YSRCP work in doing damage to Chandrababu’s majority and planned different strategies. This time Kuppam reported 85.25 percent of voting which is 1.39 percent higher than 2014. With the polling getting registered such higher, the debate about Chandrababu’s majority in the constituency started. But whom will this increase in voting benefit is a million Dollar question.
On behalf of YSRCP, MP Mithun Reddy and Nagari MLA Roja constantly campaigned in Kuppam against Chandrababu. YSRCP claims that the increase in voting is anti-incumbency against TDP government and this will certainly decrease Chandrababu’s majority. But the TDP has rubbished YSRCP’s claims. ‘Pasupu – Kumkuma’ money getting credited three days before the elections and the welfare schemes being strictly implemented in the constituency, plus the past developmental works, will help Chandrababu to get 75,000 majority, is what TDP is estimating.
A total of 2,13,146 are eligible to vote from Kuppam constituency this time and out of the number, 1,81,712 have utilized their vote. So will TDP’s estimation turn right and YSRCP will succeed in reducing Chandrbaabu’s majority? May 23rd we will get to know.
Even Janasena Spent Money In Some Places?
Apparently, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has impressed many citizens of Andhra Pradesh with his motto- money free politics. Sticking to that, he has distributed seats to people belonging to the lower middle class and poor as well. And then, many thought that Janasena is going to elections without buying votes.
But truth is that some candidates, who have feared to lose the election, are said to have distributed money without the knowledge of biggies inside the party. Reports are coming that while TDP and YSRC folks spent more than 2000 to 3K for a vote in constituencies like Eluru, Janasena contestants also felt the need to give at least something and they are said to have distributed around 500-1000 per vote.
After coming to know about these things, Pawan Kalyan is said to have got serious and warned those contestants for their wrongdoings. But political analysts are feeling that if PK threatens his MLA aspirants with arm-twisting classes, then they may migrate to other parties post the results. That’s what happens most of the time.
Well, for now all these speculations are heating up political circuits but the final blow will come only on May 23rd.
Whole Of Andhra Pride Now Back To Hyderabad
With April 11th being a poll day and followed by a weekend, many actually took a holiday on Friday and went for vacations too. And some have gone to their home places to vote and returned back Hyderabad only on Monday morning.
Generally, few government employees like teachers and lecturers get summer holidays but not all the departments and not all the employees. However, this 4-day-break has excited many folks as they rushed to hometowns and to other vacations, to relax. Some of them are actually those torchbearers of Andhra pride as they wanted to vote in the election at any cost. For the same, they even went ahead to coastal towns and villages on their bikes, riding more than 400 kilometres from Hyderabad.
The stark reality is however that all the Andhra pride has now come to Hyderabad to go ahead with jobs and other businesses. That’s where actually many want the ‘change’ to happen with the swift construction of AP’s new capital. Because Amaravati’s rapid development might help them stay close in their own state rather than working in a neighbourhood state.
On the other hand, every Andhraite is eagerly awaiting along with their Telangana counterparts to see the result on May 23rd.
Chandrababu To Campaign For This Hero
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has intensified his battle against BJP and would be campaigning against the party all over the country. In first, Chandrababu will campaign in Karnataka and on Monday, his campaign schedule is confirmed.
Chandrababu is supporting Congress and JD(S) alliance in Karnataka and so he will be campaigning for former Prime Minister Deve Gowda’s grandson and Karnataka CM Kumara Swamy’s son and actor Nikhil Kumar who is contesting from Mandya Lok Sabha constituency. Chandrababu will address an election meeting in Pandavaapur town of the same constituency. Apart from this Naidu will also take part in rallies and road shows.
TDP sources says that this campaign of Chandrababu is not just against Modi or BJP but as a courtesy as ex-PM Deve Gowda supported and campaigned for Naidu in Andhra Pradesh. Naidu shares cordial relations with the ex-PM and further strengthening of JD(S) and TDP bond this campaign would help.
Jersey Is Not A Biopic: Nani
Nani’s Jersey is all set for release on April 19th. The film’s emotional trailer has set the expectations right and Nani’s performance seems to be the major takeaway from the movie. Meanwhile, promoting Jersey, Nani clarified the biggest rumour that has been under speculation for the last couple of months.
Rumours had it that Jersey is based on the life of former Indian cricketer Raman Lamba, who died tragically after a ball hit his head in a league match in Bangladesh. Like Nani’s Arjun character in Jersey, Raman Lamba too took a break from cricket and again took it up in his mid 30s.
Nani said that Jersey is not based on Raman Lamba’s life and that it is a completely fictitious story penned by director Gowtam Thinnanuri. However, the Natural Star didn’t reveal whether his character dies in the movie or not.
Nani also said that unlike in some of his previous movies, audiences won’t see Nani, but only Arjun’s character while watching Jersey on the screen. “In certain movies, I had to let my original self come on to the screen. But Jersey’s story is so tightly knitted that it didn’t need me but only Arjun,” Nani said.

It has recovered more than seventy percent of its investment in the first three days and is set to become a hit.
2) Majili: Majili slowed down considerably post first weekend, but did well in its second weekend. Its collections were affected to an extent with the arrival of Chitralahari.

ABCD Trailer: American Rich Guy Caught In Indian Slums
ABCD (American Born Confused Desi) is a remake of Malayalam film of the same name. Allu Sirish is seen as the rich NRI who comes to India to lead life as a common man.It is a mix of all commercial elements such as comedy, romance, action and also politics.Allu Sirish looks a bit rigid in comedy scenes, but looks alright in romance and action bits.
Ruksar Dhillon’s glamour is a definite plus for ABCD. Master Bharath is a grown man now and he plays the hero’s sidekick in the film.ABCD looks like a faithful remake of the original starring Dulquer Salman. Can Allu Sirish do justice to the role pulled off by the super talented Dulquer? The original was all about good moments and solid performances.
Let’s see whether the remake can match up to the original or not. The trailer is a passable one with nothing striking except for the politics part that comes towards the end of it.Also the rich NRI adjusting to an Indian commoner’s lifestyle should be fun. Sanjeev Reddy is the director of ABCD that is bankrolled by Madhura Sridhar and Yash Rangineni.
