Re-Polling at two places In Andhra Pradesh
Despite the faulty EVMs and violence that erupted during voting, the election commission has called for re-polling only two places and that too in Guntur district. The 244th polling booth of Guntur West constituency and 94th polling booth of Narsaraopet will go for voting once again. It was Guntur district collector who has suggested for re-polling as he found out irregularities.
The 244th polling booth of Guntur West is Nalla Cheruvu and on the polling day, the records showed that 300 people who were standing in queue were given slips while there were 30 additional votes that got polled. In the 94th polling booth, the voting could not take place because of clashes between TDP and YSR Congress party. But the date of re-polling are not announced yet. The AP election commission might finalise the date on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the EVMs are moved to strong rooms and the police have arranged three layered tight security for them. The central forces and the state police are assigned for the security. Now the AP election commission is doing arrangements for counting process. In 34 places, 55 counting centres, they would be done.
AP chief election commissioner has reveals the details of voting percentage. The total stood at 76.69 percentage while Prakasham and Vizianagaram districts recorded the highest voting percentage with 85. Vizag, West Godavari and Kadapa got the lowest polling percentage with 70.
Be the best CM of Andhra: PK to Jagan
Despite nearly 40 days for election results to be out, looks like the YSRCP is confident of its win this time in Andhra Pradesh. In a video that is going viral on social media, Indian Political Action Committee founder and JD(U) vice-president, Prashant Kishor is seen mentoring and motivating his team that has worked on YSR Congress President Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy’s campaign.
The video has Jagan and Prashant Kishor addressing I-PAC team and its members who have been hired for YSRCP’s election campaign in Andhra Pradesh. “We have been of great support and have delivered whatever we could have done. I’m sure we will prove all his critiques and naysayers wrong. I’m sure he will deliver the best possible government Andhra should get. We are all going to be contributing to it,” he said.
“I want to thank him (Jagan) on your behalf…thank you very much,” he says, wishing Jagan to be the best Chief Minister AP has ever seen, in a celebratory meeting. Interestingly, Jagan hugged Prashant Kishor at the end of the meeting and gave him full credit for the campaign. Jagan’s followers also tweeted pictures of both of them hugging and said that “it is rare to see politicians giving credit to anyone apart from themselves.”
However, critics on social media have blamed Prashant Kishor for being the brain behind the clashes and planned violence in Andhra Pradesh during the polls. Though Prasanth Kishor has lashed out at TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu for “spreading fake news” over his support to YSRCP campaign, this video doing rounds on the Internet proves that Prashant Kishor has been a crucial part of driving the campaign for Jagan.
Tollywood Stars Gripped In Fear Of Election Defeat
Finally, the weeks long high drama surrounding the general elections has come to an end. Since the Assembly elections were long done and since it’s easy to guess which party will come out with flying colours in the just concluded Lok Sabha polls, there is hardly any excitement about the elections held in Telangana.
And, all the hype and hoopla is primarily centred on the AP election results. While the Telangana elections didn’t have a lot of cine glamour, many Tollywood stars tested their luck in AP. Pawan Kalyan is the frontrunner by contesting as Janasena’s CM candidate. Even several other stars were in the fray from other parties.
Coming to Pawan, he contested in constituencies. Political circles are abuzz that Pawan will snatch a thumping victory in Gajuwaka and that even a record margin seems to be a possibility. However, a victory in Bhimavaram seems to be a difficult dream for the Janasena chief.
On the other hand, Pawan’s brother and actor Nagababu contested Narasapuram MP constituency on behalf of Janasena. His chances seem to be bleak since his ticket was confirmed quite late and there was not much time for his campaign against a strong opponent.
And then, Roja is once again testing her luck as YSRCP’s MLA candidate. However, a strong anti-wave against her 5-year term as an MLA in Nagari seems to be acting against her big time despite the party having a solid image in Chittoor district.
And finally, there is Nandamuri Balakrishna, TDP’s Hindupur MLA. There has been a huge opposition to Balayya’s work from his constituency voters over the past 5 years. Adding to that, his rude behaviour during the election campaigns earned him more negativity. For now, all eyes will be on May 23rd, that’s when the results will be out to seal the fate of our film stars.
Super Hit Film’s Second Heroine Dating Producer?
Here comes the latest gossip from Film Nagar which happens to be a classic case of an upcoming heroine dating the producer of her debut movie. And this time, we hear that the new producer is going more than anything for her.
This producer is actually a debutant who made a sensible film on his arrival. And this heroine got fame for her good looks but haven’t got the needed break we have to say. However, her hottest appearances on social media became the talk of the town. And guess what, she is now in neck-deep love with her producer.
Apparently the two are caught hopping in Hyderabad where the happening coffee shops and pubs became their regular to-do stuff. Those who have identified after the film’s release are thinking that maybe she is actually speaking to her manager, but those who recognized the producer are feeling a shocker.
Well, is this a true love thing or just a heroine and producer’s relation to brighten their chances by helping each other? Only time will tell.
They are said to be dancing around all the trees in Jubilee Hills..
This Director Is Out Of WhatsApp & FB Jokes
Back then, when the movie Second Hand got released, many felt that director Kishore Tirumala did a fab job. But frankly, most of the jokes in the film are actually googled quotes, WhatsApp forwards and Facebook memes. And it looks like he ran out of that stuff now.
It has been a long way since then as he has come up with Nenu Sailaja, Unnadi Okate Zindagi and Chitralahari now. Film by film, Kishore lost the dose of comedy he is inducing into these stories and they have come to a position where the narrative is quite flat.
If we look at today’s release Chitralahari, the only hilarious joke he could come up with is where Sunil gives a 5 rupees worth Moongdal packet back to a wine shop guy, saying that it was given by the shop keeper other day in place of a 5-rupee change, and asks the shopkeeper to give him 10 rupees. This was put in the trailer and this is also a Facebook joke, which got used in many Bollywood web series and some small time movies.
Those who have seen the film are now commenting that maybe Kishore is running out of such jokes collection.
