Jagan Will Never Become CM of AP: Pawan Kalyan

Share

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan concluded the election campaign successfully. In his concluding speech, Pawan said YS Jagan will never become the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh state and also lashed out at YSRCP leaders who wasted his time before the elections.

“Back in 2014, Telangana CM KCR confidently said that Jagan and his party will come to power in AP. Again in 2019 he is making similar comments. To him, I would like to clarify that it is Jana Sena which is going to form the next government in Andhra Pradesh. Not just now, Jagan will never become the CM of AP. The YSRCP chief has no respect for other religions and will KCR be okay if Jagan walks into Yadadri temple with footwear. Jagan is the person who maligned Triumala’s divinity,” stated Pawan.

Speaking about YSRCP leaders, the Jana Sena chief said, “Yes I have cordial relations with Ambati Rambabu, Thota Triumurthulu and Chalamalasetty Sunil. But I did not invite any of them into party and left it to their decision. Looking at all these, I think that it is a master plan and they opine that Pawan Kalyan is weak and has no knowledge about politics. This is not 2009, it’s 2019, I have earned a lot of experience all these years and here to stay for long,” said Pawan Kalyan.

In Pics: When Pawan And Bunny Hugged!

Share

From a long time, with Allu Arjun making the “Cheppanu Brother” comment, there was this unwanted animosity between hardcore fans of both these mega heroes. However, in recent times, Allu Arjun tried to make up to this by standing with PK whenever needed. And today it just stunned everyone.

Allu Arjun went all the way to Palakollu to stand by the Janasena president. And when the stylish star reached the stage, Pawan Kalyan asked his supporters to give way for him and the young one came onto the stage. It’s an epic moment then, as both of them greeted each other by hugging.

This hugging picture is now going viral on the internet as it broke the hearts of many as well. And that also almost ended that hatred between the fans of these two heroes, we have to say. Many say that it would have been better if Bunny met Pawan a week ago than now.

Anyway, except Chiranjeevi, we have to say that all the mega family is currently rallying by Pawan Kalyan only.

Boyapati Didn’t Do It For Free, Charged 4 Cr

Share

It’s widely known by now that director Boyapati Sreenu has crafted some beautiful and impactful ads for Telugudesam party. Earlier K Raghavendra Rao used to take care of these creative commercials for the political outfit led by N Chandrababu Naidu, and now Boyapati has taken that place.

Ever since these ads came out, there is a talk that Boyapati has done these ads for the sake of TDP as he belongs to the same community that of Chandrababu. Also, some stated that he has churned out intense ads as the TDP offered his family something politically. But all that seems to be untrue.

According to reports by a print media, Boyapati is said to have charged whopping 4 crores for these days. Back in films, he’s charging around 10 crores as his remuneration and now for TDP he has given a concession but hasn’t done anything for free. We hear that the director has taken up this like any other project but there is no political motivation behind it.

On the other hand, Boyapati’s ads are helping Telugudesam a lot as their impact is quite high on the masses.

Pawan Mama denied permission for campaign: Tej

Share

Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej aka Sai Tej had offered special prayers at Tirumala temple on Tuesday ahead of his upcoming movie ‘Chitralahari’ release this Friday. Media confronted him outside the temple and when asked about his contribution for Jana Sena party election campaign, Tej revealed few things.

“Don’t put one leg in films and the other in politics, is what Pawan mamaiya said to me. He also refused to allow me to campaign for the party in elections. I can’t do things against his wish,” replied Tej. On the contrary the other Mega heroes have campaigned for Jana Sena. Stylish star Allu Arjun shared the dais with Pawan Kalyan in Palakollu today. Varun Tej has already toured Narsapur for his father Naga Babu, who is in Lok Sabha race.

Keeping this aside, Tej is looking to bounce back to success track with ‘Chitralahari.’ After half-a-dozen flops, Tej has all hopes on this film. It was directed by Kishore Tirumala.

Maharshi OS Sold for Rs 11.5 Cr

Share

At last, Mahesh Babu’s “Maharshi” has closed its overseas deal. Dil Raju who is co-producing this movie along with Ashwini Dutt and PVP wanted nearly Rs 16 Cr for overseas rights but no one came forward to pay such high price.

Finally, Great India Films that distributed Mahesh Babu’s previous films like ‘Pokiri’ and ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ has clinched the overseas deal for Rs 11.5 Cr.

This deal includes USA, Australia, Gulf region and other overseas territories. This deal goes like this: Rs 11.5 Cr for rights, if the movie collects more than Rs 16 Cr share in overseas market, then profits will be shared by producers.

Mahesh Babu’s “Bharat Ane Nenu” was sold for higher price than “Maharshi”. BAN grossed about $3.5 million in USA and $600k in Australia and another $400k from other areas.

Despite such massive revenue, the distributors were left with no profits. Given this reason, no distributor was willing to hefty amount.

NTR’s Silent Mantra Works Out

Share

NTR Jr took conscious decision to stay away from Telugu Desam party activities and its campaigning.
Despite tremendous pressure from Nandamuri Balakrishna and Naidu, he made it clear that he has not interest in politics at this juncture of his career.

Knowing very well of CBN’s ‘karivepaku policy’ (use and throw), he himself has been distancing away from Telugu Desam party.

To put pressure on NTR Jr, Chandrababu Naidu had fielded Kalyan Ram’s sister Nandamuri Suhasini in Kukatpally in Telangana assembly polls but NTR didn’t come out in support of her. He didn’t participate in campaigning. He maintained total silence then.

He has applied similar strategy for Andhra elections as well. Though stars from Mega family came out and expressed their support to their family leader Pawan Kalyan and have urged fans to vote for Jana Sena, NTR maintained his silence and didn’t step out.

In fact, his silent mantra has worked out well for him. He is now completely steered out from any controversies.NTR Jr did campaign for TDP in 2009 but the gap between Naidu and NTR Jr has widened later.

Janasena’s Debut: Less Than 5, Less Than 10, Less Than 15?

Share

Contesting in all the assembly seats and parliamentary constituencies, Pawan Kalyan led Janasena is foraying into electoral politics for the first time. And there are huge discussions going on in film circles about the number of seats this party will win.

In fact, there are three numbers being heard when it comes to Janasena’s debut victory. Political analysts have one figure, Janasena fans have one figure and media (surveys) have another figure to say. Firstly Pawan Kalyan and his team are believing that they will be winning ‘less than 15’ MLA seats, while 1-2 MP seats might be a cakewalk. Pawan is said to have come to conclusion basing on the support he received at certain places and how the opponents sounded quite weak (or split between TDP and YSRC) in those constituencies.

Then we have political analysts who are opining that the newcomer ‘tea glass’ might say cheers in ‘less than 10’ places. They have to come to this conclusion after ascertaining caste equations, Pawan’s real strength and the real good backdrop of certain candidates contesting on Janasena ticket.

Coming to surveys that are sponsored by media houses, it could be noticed that Pawan will be winning ‘less than 5’ seats in AP assembly polls, while it might not win even one parliamentary constituency in the state. So what is in store for Pawan Kalyan is something quite surprising, and we will know that on May 23rd while AP seals Janasena’s fate on April 11th.

Balayya’s Fans Trying To Cover Again: Not Worthy Though

Share

Whenever Balayya sneezes, his fans catch a cold. That is what happens after the actor and Hindupur MLA hits someone, hurls abuses at cadres and goes firing on the camera, his fans come up with stints to cover up those unparliamentary acts.

Other day the senior hero has hit at a guy in his election rally, where he went chasing the guy before landing a couple of punches on his back. And to cover up this, now Balayya’s fans and those media houses that admire his draconian acts have come up with pictures where he is seen monitoring the traffic on the main road.

A couple of pictures published in a leading daily showcase how Balayya will handle everything with care on the roads, such that nothing will happen to the people taking part in his rallies. Those who have seen this are not at all convinced, however. They are quipping that something will happen to Balayya’s cadres only if he himself beats or abuses them not otherwise.

With these cover-up gimmicks failing, even hardcore fans of the Nandamuri star are turning silent, leaving his fate at Hindupur election to the God.

Why is Harish Rao silent on Special Status or Polavaram?

Share

The YSR Congress and Telangana Rashtra Samithi alliance has become quite the talk in political circles of both the states. Ever since YSRCP President Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and TRS Working President KT Rama Rao’s joint press address, the rumour mills have been working overtime. While KTR and TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao have openly endorsed Jagan’s candidature as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, one person who has not had any share of his say in the whole episode is KCR’s nephew and senior leader Harish Rao.

Known for enjoying huge popularity among voters, Harish Rao has been sidelined by the TRS party after the Telangana Assembly elections. He has also not been given any ministry in KCR’s cabinet while there have been messages that he would be included during Cabinet expansion post Lok Sabha polls. However, Harish Rao’s supporters have not been quiet about him being sidelined by KCR. They have time and again expressed their displeasure over TRS leadership’s ignorance of Harish Rao.

Amidst the din and noise of AP elections, Harish Rao was also one of the few people from TRS who was opposed to Special Status to Andhra Pradesh. Even with respect to Polavaram, he had made statements against the Andhra Pradesh government and its people publicly. Now, with so much happening in Andhra Pradesh assembly elections and KCR suddenly supporting special status for AP, Harish Rao still hasn’t spoken a word on the neighbouring state or TDP Chief.

Many in the political circles are questioning as to why he has fallen silent at a time when TRS is going full throttle against the TDP in Telangana. This also raises several questions about how KCR has been unjust to Harish Rao and has been trying to elevate his son and daughter, as rumours confirm. Will this be another cause of concern for the TRS? Will Harish Rao’s silence cost the party even as it continues to ignore his presence? We will know the answer after May 23rd.

Conspiracy! Bus tickets from Telangana to AP cancelled?

Share

With just two days for the polling, several passengers who will be travelling to Andhra Pradesh from Telangana and Hyderabad have been receiving messages of their bus cancellation from private travel services. Their messages from the bus operators state that thee bus has been cancelled due to “unavoidable reasons.”

As we had reported earlier, there were rumours that many government and private bus services to be canceled or cancel booked tickets in the last moment. We had informed people through our report that they should look at alternatives modes of travel as the Telangana government is planning to stop nearly 50 lakh people who will be home-bound tomorrow, to vote in Andhra Pradesh.

The argument put forward by the government on the issue was that “it cannot send their people (RTC drivers) to distant places as they would not be able to cast their vote on April 11, if they leave their native places.” Those who have received messages have taken to social media to spread awareness to people on choosing car pooling or car apps to travel to their native instead of panicking. Political observers say 50 lakh is a significant population that could change the fate of a party’s chances in the election.

Many voters who are heading home are spreading messages on Twitter about ticket cancellations and are reaching out to others who need help in reaching their destination in Andhra Pradesh. Many netizens are also cautioning people to travel today, so that they can avoid last moment rush and panic. Looks like all efforts are being made to ensure that voting percentage goes down in AP elections.

Buzz: Baaboi, Evvaru Taggatledu Baabai

Share

With just three more days to go for the wrapping of the election campaign in Andhra Pradesh, not even a single leader is giving loose of the steering wheel that is driving their publicity blitzkrieg. All sorts of emotions are being seen at these venues and here is a taste of few.

Pawan Kalyan and the flow of emotions!
Janasena president Pawan Kalyan makes sure that he will be as eccentric as possible for the next couple of days. Already his dehydration incident raised sympathy wave for him and then spoke how comedian Ali has backstabbed him despite securing a Janasena MLA ticket for one of his cousins. And then Pawan went haywire when few people tried to turn off lights at his roadshow in Vizag district other day.

‘Scam explorer’ Sivaji
Known for revealing various fictional political conspiracy theories, which according to him are mighty plans devised to destruct Telugu Desam Party, Sivaji other day stated in an explosive tone that Jagan will crush Amaravathi if he wins. Also Sivaji added, “If I am greedy of posts, by this time I would have become MLA or MP in BJP and a Minister too. I would have become AP BJP president also”. Sample that.

The Showman KA Paul
This enigmatic Christian evangelist is literally becoming that funnybone of the total Andhra Pradesh electoral campaign as he is throwing not just satires on all the opponents, but he terms that everyone including Chandrababu Naidu are also planning to vote for his Praja Santhi party only. Check youtube once, to find more of Paul’s comedy!!

Officially Unofficial Spokesperson Posani
Time and again, he invites media to his house and makes sure that his voice is heard. Wavering between his loyalty for YS Jagan and his love to support the mega family as well, he sometimes finds fault with his own stories that were said previous day. He wants to give a milk bath to Pawan if the Jansenani proves that Jagan is corrupt. Well, should Pawan now join in CBI, Judiciary and all other central agencies to do that?

And this list is endless if we add the names of Lakshmi Parvathi and many others. But then, as Chandrababu and YS Jagan are not new to this rhetoric, satirical, aggressive, intelligent and funny political campaigns, their names are excluded here.

To sum up, looking at all these politically apolitical and typically political politicians, we have to say, ‘Baaboi, evvaru taggatledu baabai’.

Will KCR’s Last Minute Comments Helps Jagan?

Share

Telangana Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K. Chandrasekhar Rao said his party would support Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh, along with his demands to offer equal share of incentive to Telangana. KCR, for the first time, publicly announced his support to Special Status obviously to strengthen the party’s ally, YSR Congress’ poll prospects in AP, in the wake of TDP supremo and his bete noire time and again criticising YSRCP chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy for tying up with TRS, even when there has been no assurance from KCR on the issue.

Addressing an election meeting in Vikarabad near Hyderabad, KCR predicted that the TDP would lose the April 11 elections. He reminded that MPs of TRS Party had already registered their support to SCS in the Parliament. In the same tempo, KCR refuted allegations being levelled by Chandrababu that he was trying to stall the Polavaram project which is the lifeline of AP.

However, many are questioning why TRS leaders such as Harish Rao and other MPs had outrightly rejected Special Status to AP earlier. They also question the TRS’ stand in not supporting MPs from Andhra Pradesh in the Parliament when they tabled a no-confidence motion against the Modi government for not granting Special Status to AP.

Changing his tone against “Andhra people” after calling them “Andhra Drohulu” during the Telangana Assembly elections, KCR reiterated that people of AP were good but it was only leaders like Chandrababu Naidu who were irritating him. “Naidu is cursing Hyderabad that it would lose its significance. Naidu will lose his deposit in the polls,” the TRS chief said. He also predicted that TRS will win 16 MP seats, AIMIM one and along with the YSRC, they would win 35 MP seats.

KCR’s comments come in the wake of the people of Andhra Pradesh seeing him in negative light, despite being an ally of YSR Congress. His comments on people from Seemandhra and those who migrated to Hyderabad have been very controversial as he indulged in name-calling and abusing them.

Political observers say that this is an attempt by the TRS to undo the damage it has done and to help Jagan in AP. However, we are yet to see whether the people of AP will forget the wounds of the past inflicted by KCR upon them or will this turn out to be a last moment advantage for Jagan in Andhra Pradesh.
