Bandla Ganesh Wants to See PK as CM

Bandla Ganesh, who used to claim as number one fan of Pawan Kalyan, recently joined Congress party in Telangana giving a shock to all the fans of Power Star.

Fans expected that he would join Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena party and would contest on its ticket in Telangana.

But Bandla Ganesh thought that Congress party would come into power in the state dumping TRS. He did lot of hungama during Telangana assembly elections in last November.

Since the results of Telangana assembly polls, he has become inactive politically and is staying away from media glare. Media is also treating him like a joker or comic relief than a politician.

In a sudden twist, he has now tweeted about his ‘Daivam’ Pawan Kalyan.

“My strong desire is to see my god and my boss Pawan Kalyan as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. I request all the voters make my dream a reality,” he tweeted.

So, Bandla Ganesh is back to appeasing his former ‘Boss’ Gabbar Singh.

Lakshmi’s NTR in AP: Release After Polls?

Andhra Pradesh High Court that was to decide about lifting the stay on release of “Lakshmi’s NTR” in the state yesterday has postponed its hearing to April 9th.

Ram Gopal Varma and producer Rakesh Reddy are running from pillar to post to see that the film gets released in Andhra Pradesh during this crucial election period as it would fetch them good openings.

In “Lakshmi’s NTR”, Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s role is depicted as villain in late Late NTR’s life in his later days. This is what Telugu Desam Party has been objecting.

The party felt it would hamper the party’s prospects if the film gets released in AP and this is indirectly influencing the voters. Though Telangana High Court has refused to stay the movie’s release, AP High court has stalled the movie.

But High Court has once again postponed the hearing. It is now pretty evident that the film will not release in Andhra Pradesh before the poll day (April 11).

If it gets released post the polls, “Lakshmi’s NTR” will not have the same frenzy as it does have now. In Telangana, the film took bumper openings.

Megastar’s Title For Bellamkonda Sreenivas

The title of hero Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’ upcoming movie which is the official remake of Tamil movie ‘Ratsasan’ is finalized and it is ‘Rakshasudu.’

We all know this is Megastar Chiranjeevi’s title but the makers opined that as per the script, the above title is apt for their movie. On the occasion of Telugu New Year, the producers will officially announce the title.

Touted to be a psychological thriller and hero Sreenivas is playing the role of a police officer in the movie.

Ramesh Varma is directing the movie and so far sixty percent of the shooting has been wrapped up.

Koneru Satyanaranayana is producing ‘Rakshasudu’ and the producer is aiming for June release. It’s a Ghibran musical.

TDP Sees Through Pawan’s Game Plan!

Actor-turned-politician and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan is going through a tough situation.

While his party has little chances of winning more than five or six seats out of 175 seats in Andhra Pradesh assembly in the ongoing elections, his own prospects of victory in Bhimavaram in West Godavari and Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam are in jeopardy.

However, Pawan has to win either of the two seats to salvage at least his personal prestige.

According to sources, Pawan has entered into an understanding with Telugu Desam Party candidate Palla Srinivasa Rao in Gajuwaka – that Rao should keep a low profile in the present elections and allow Pawan to win the seat.

Pawan apparently told the TDP candidate that he would be winning Bhimavaram seat, too and after the elections, he would retain this seat. Then he would resign from Gajuwaka and in the ensuing by-elections, he would extend support to Rao in winning Gajuwaka seat.

Initially, the TDP candidate is learnt to have agreed for the proposal and did not campaign much for himself.

However, of late, there have been reports that Pawan is going to lose the Bhimavaram seat and has fair chances of winning Gajuwaka seat. Rao realised that in such a situation, Pawan will not give up his Gajuwaka seat at all.

So, the TDP candidate lost no time and started intensifying his campaign in Gajuwaka. For the last four or five days, Rao has been seen everywhere attacking the rivals including Pawan Kalyan.

Unlike Jana Sena chief, Rao, a civil engineer with expertise in seismic-resistant designs, is a local man and is son of former TDP MLA Palla Simhachalam.

Since he is a native, he says he has fair understanding of the people of Gajuwaka, an industrial belt with a lot of issues relating to pollution, rehabilitation and resettlement packages for the project displaced and housing.

Naga Chaitanya: I didn’t Recommend My Wife

Naga Chaitanya said that he didn’t recommend his wife’s name for the main role in “Majili” when director Shiva Nirvana narrated the story to him. Samantha was not his choice, but director’s.

“Majili” has brought Naga Chaitanya and Samantha together for the first time after their wedding. This is fourth film for them as a pair.

Naga Chaitanya also dismissed that reports that they paired up together to cash in their image of a star couple.

“It was purely director’s decision. He felt that only Sam could justice to the role which is written quite well and a very challenging character. I must say Samantha took it to the next level with her great performance,” Chaitanya praised his wife.

Naga Chaitanya also informed that he didn’t sign any other film besides the one that he is acting in presently – “Venky Mama”. There is a proposal from Dil Raju’s production but he has not heard the story yet.

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday came up with a peculiar demand: that Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao should include special category status to Andhra Pradesh in the TRS manifesto for the current elections.

Though the TRS has already clarified to the Election Commission that it will not bring out any election manifesto for the ongoing Parliament elections, Naidu made this demand, while taking part in the elections in Udayagiri constituency in Nellore district.

He sought to know whether YSR Congress party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy would convince KCR to include the special category status to AP in the TRS manifesto.

“If Jagan is sincere, he should secure a no-objection certificate from the TRS president for granting SCS to AP,” he said.

He reminded that the Congress had announced the special category status to AP on the floor of Parliament and he BJP had supported it and even demanded it for 10 years.

“But Narendra Modi has betrayed the state by denying the status. The TRS leaders strongly opposed the special status to AP, but now KCR says he is not against it. If KCR and Jagan are sincere in this regard, it should be included in the TRS manifesto,” he said.

Naidu accused Jagan of submitting a daily progress report to the TRS president and was taking financial support from the latter to buy votes.

“However, nothing will happen to the TDP as long as it had the support of the people,” he said.

Southern Star Allu Arjun’s father gifted his grandson Allu Ayaan one of the unique gift on Ayaan’s birthday.Allu Ayaan wanted a separate pool for himself for this scorching summer and Allu Aravind gifted the same on his son’s birthday.

Allu Arjun posted pics on social media and said that he is jealous of his kid who is having fun all the time.

“My dad gifted Ayaan a swimming pool for his birthday. I am still in shock. When he asked Ayaan what he wanted 45 days ago, my son had asked for a pool, to which Dad agreed and delivery was on dot.. Ayaan is soo lucky to have a grand dad like that.. Lucky 4th generation kids.. I envy them.. BTW we named it Allu Pool (sic),” wrote Allu Arjun on his Instagram account.

Apparently, the vacant land next to their house was utilised for the swimming pool. With summer time and school holidays round the corner, it seems Allu Aravind felt this was the best gift.

Meanwhile, Aravind’s younger son Sirish also expressed surprise over the gift.

“As a father, he was so strict with us! Why are all the rules relaxed for Ayaan (sic)??” he ask.

Maharshi OS Release for Sharing Basis?

Mahesh Babu’s ‘Maharshi’ has not yet closed its overseas deal as the makers are demanding unreasonable price.

Mahesh Babu’s recent movies didn’t bring profits to the distributors even when they turned out to be hits. In this scenario, the overseas distributors are dodging on this movie to snap the rights.

The makers have already slashed some discount but now none is willing to pay that price as well. Latest we heard is that the film will be released on sharing basis.

Mahesh Babu’s last film “Bharat Ane Nenu” collected whopping 3.5 million dollars which is all-time fourth highest grossing Telugu movie in USA after “Baahubali” movies and “Rangasthalam”. But the film was bought for hefty price and it didn’t give rejoice to the buyers.

The other reason for buyers’ hesitation is it has not created much buzz so far. The first song of “Maharshi” has also failed to generate great hype.

Sukumar Doing Same Script With Bunny

In a rush, Sukumar has opted out of Mahesh Babu’s film because the hero wants to keep this director in the wait until he wraps up Anil Ravipudi’s movie. And then, the creative director of blockbuster Rangasthalam has announced a movie with Allu Arjun. Here comes an interesting snippet.

There are two scripts that were heard when Sukku is actually working on Mahesh Babu’s project. One is that of a red-sanders smuggler and the other one is set in Telangana’s Razakkar revolution, and Mahesh is said to have rejected the two. However, Allu Arjun is said to have given a go for the smuggling based movie.

As the character is a rugged one which looks like that of Ram Charan’s Chittibabu role from Rangasthalam, Bunny is said to have liked it immensely. Also with Sukumar improvising so many details in the story which takes place most of the time in jungles of Nallamala, the whole of Geetha Arts and Mythri Movie Makers have loved it, we hear.

Well, look forward to the start of this film’s shooting anyway or will there be any twist in the story tales? Let’s see.

Keerthy Suresh Is Not Going To Romance Superstar

It is known that South Superstar Rajinikanth who recently came up with ‘Petta’ movie is now going to join hands with director A.R.Murugadoss for his upcoming movie. A few weeks ago, the makers have announced that Keerthi Suresh and Nayanthara are going to play the female leads in this film.

A decade ago, Nayanthara has already shared the screen space with Rajinikanth in ‘Chandramukhi’ movie and became a super hit. So, the fans got excited to watch Rajini and Nayan’s romance on screen again. But, coming to Keerthi Suresh, most of the fans responded negatively and commented and how an actress who is younger than Rajnikanth’s daughter romance him. The netizens have trolled the makers for roping in Keerthi Suresh to play the leading lady against Rajnikanth. Though this is the reason or not, the makers have removed Keerthi Suresh from the film. It is yet to be known whether they have actually cut off the entire role or planning to replace Keerthi Suresh with another actress.

Anirudh Ravichander is scoring music for this film. The movie is most likely to get released for Diwali this year. Meanwhile, Keerthi Suresh is currently focusing on her Bollywood debut movie.
