Maharshi OS Release for Sharing Basis?

Mahesh Babu’s ‘Maharshi’ has not yet closed its overseas deal as the makers are demanding unreasonable price.

Mahesh Babu’s recent movies didn’t bring profits to the distributors even when they turned out to be hits. In this scenario, the overseas distributors are dodging on this movie to snap the rights.

The makers have already slashed some discount but now none is willing to pay that price as well. Latest we heard is that the film will be released on sharing basis.

Mahesh Babu’s last film “Bharat Ane Nenu” collected whopping 3.5 million dollars which is all-time fourth highest grossing Telugu movie in USA after “Baahubali” movies and “Rangasthalam”. But the film was bought for hefty price and it didn’t give rejoice to the buyers.

The other reason for buyers’ hesitation is it has not created much buzz so far. The first song of “Maharshi” has also failed to generate great hype.

Sukumar Doing Same Script With Bunny

In a rush, Sukumar has opted out of Mahesh Babu’s film because the hero wants to keep this director in the wait until he wraps up Anil Ravipudi’s movie. And then, the creative director of blockbuster Rangasthalam has announced a movie with Allu Arjun. Here comes an interesting snippet.

There are two scripts that were heard when Sukku is actually working on Mahesh Babu’s project. One is that of a red-sanders smuggler and the other one is set in Telangana’s Razakkar revolution, and Mahesh is said to have rejected the two. However, Allu Arjun is said to have given a go for the smuggling based movie.

As the character is a rugged one which looks like that of Ram Charan’s Chittibabu role from Rangasthalam, Bunny is said to have liked it immensely. Also with Sukumar improvising so many details in the story which takes place most of the time in jungles of Nallamala, the whole of Geetha Arts and Mythri Movie Makers have loved it, we hear.

Well, look forward to the start of this film’s shooting anyway or will there be any twist in the story tales? Let’s see.

Keerthy Suresh Is Not Going To Romance Superstar

It is known that South Superstar Rajinikanth who recently came up with ‘Petta’ movie is now going to join hands with director A.R.Murugadoss for his upcoming movie. A few weeks ago, the makers have announced that Keerthi Suresh and Nayanthara are going to play the female leads in this film.

A decade ago, Nayanthara has already shared the screen space with Rajinikanth in ‘Chandramukhi’ movie and became a super hit. So, the fans got excited to watch Rajini and Nayan’s romance on screen again. But, coming to Keerthi Suresh, most of the fans responded negatively and commented and how an actress who is younger than Rajnikanth’s daughter romance him. The netizens have trolled the makers for roping in Keerthi Suresh to play the leading lady against Rajnikanth. Though this is the reason or not, the makers have removed Keerthi Suresh from the film. It is yet to be known whether they have actually cut off the entire role or planning to replace Keerthi Suresh with another actress.

Anirudh Ravichander is scoring music for this film. The movie is most likely to get released for Diwali this year. Meanwhile, Keerthi Suresh is currently focusing on her Bollywood debut movie.

Vishnu & Vytla Combo To Rock Celluloid

It has been a long time since Manchu Vishnu scored a decent hit at the box office. The actor was last seen in ‘Achari America Yatra’ which hit the screens in 2018 but that movie also ended up the big disaster at the box office.

Long ago in 2007, Manchu Vishnu scored a memorable super hit film with ‘Dhee’ movie. Genelia played the female lead in that film and Srinu Vytla helmed that project. As per the latest reports, Manchu Vishnu is going to join hands with the director again for his upcoming movie. Manchu Vishnu who recently spotted in Tirupati talked with the media and revealed some interesting things. He shared that he is going to work with director Srinu Vytla very soon. Talking about politics, he stated that he is going to campaign for YSR CP in Chittoor district. It is known that both Mohan Babu and Vishnu joined YSRCP recently.

On the other hand, Manchu Vishnu’s ‘Voter’ movie was supposed to hit the screens a long time ago but is finally going to make it into the theatres very soon.

Lakshmi’s NTR Release: High Court Shocker!

Nothing seems to be working for the Makers of Lakshmi’s NTR at the moment. Supreme Court hadn’t responded positively to the appeal of Producer Rakesh Reddy to pass the judgement on the petition seeking lifting of stay order at the earliest. And now, Yet another setback has been faced by the Team.

Natti Kumar-led AP Distributors Association moved High Court for the release of Lakshmi’s NTR at the earliest. High Court Judges were supposed to watch the film on Wednesday morning but they refused to do so citing the petition pending in the Supreme Court. Much to the shock of the Distributors, HC questioned how can it watch the movie and pass the judgement when Supreme Court accepted the petition. As a result, No decision has been taken on lifting the stay order. Next hearing of the case is being posted to April 9th. Which means, Possibility of Lakshmi’s NTR releasing before April 11th looks bleak.

On the other hand, Film Nagar Cultural Centre imposed a permanent ban on the screening of Lakshmi’s NTR. Generally, New Releases will be screened at the Cultural Centre in Jubilee Hills. Even ‘NTR – Kathanayakudu’ and ‘NTR – Mahanayakudu’ were screened here. However, A ban was imposed on Lakshmi’s NTR by the Chairman after a group within the Cultural Centre opposed the controversial flick.

Nagarjuna Hasn’t Watched ‘Majili’ Yet

It is known that King Nagarjuna will be the final judge of all the Akkineni Hero movies before the release. But as per the latest reports, he hasn’t watched Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s upcoming movie ‘Majili’ which is slated to hit the screens on April 5th yet.

During the promotional interviews of the movie, Naga Chaitanya stated that Nagarjuna hasn’t watched the film yet. ‘When he was available, the recording works were not completed. As it is a love story, the movie won’t be good without background score. So, he hasn’t watched the film yet’ said Naga Chaitanya. Considering his words, we can say that the movie unit hasn’t done any reshoots for the film and Nagarjuna has left the ‘Majili’ movie to director Shiva Nirvana. Talking about the movie, Naga Chaitanya stated that the film is made with middle-class sentiments and everyone will fall in love with the character of Samantha.

Talking about Samantha’s visit to Tirupati, ‘It was Sam’s idea to go to Tirupati and I just accompanied her’ said Naga Chaitanya and added that there will be so many emotional scenes in the film and his character will have arguments with almost every other character in the film.

IT Raids at TTD Chairman’s Residence

The income tax department officials are holding raids at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav’s residence in Proddutur, AP. Sudhakar Yadav is Telugu Desam’s MLA candidate from Maidakuru.

The initially reports of the IT raids claim that the officials have seized large amount of cash and documents related to Sudhakar Yadav. The TTD chairman is restricted from coming out of his residence and speak to the media. We are yet to get complete details of the raids.

As per the media reports, TDP is alleging that these raids are on the lines of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and suspects that more raids are likely to be held on TDP leaders and sympathisers in the coming days. TDP is also looking at the possibilities of giving a counter to IT raids in the state.

Why is Naidu provoking people against KCR?

Only six days are left for the conclusion of campaign for the general elections in Andhra Pradesh and political parties have intensified their electioneering in the state.So far so good. But what is surprising to everybody is the way Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been attacking on Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao with strong words and wild allegations.

“It is true that he TRS extended moral support to YSR Congress party with a view to make it a partner in the proposed federal front. There is nothing more than that. Neither KCR nor his party leaders have come to Andhra Pradesh so far to campaign for YSRC. Yet, Naidu is trying to whip up Andhra sentiment by abusing KCR,” a political observer said.

On Wednesday, YSRC honorary president Y S Vijayalakshmi also raised the same issue during her electioneering in Vizianagaram.She wondered why Naidu was instigating people against those who were neither contesting the elections from Andhra Pradesh nor were supporting any opposition party.

“KCR and his party candidates are not contesting Andhra Pradesh. Nor are they campaigning for our party. Why is Naidu calling people in his election campaigning to defeat KCR?” she asked.She alleged that TDP leaders have indulged in scams like sand, capital and Visakhapatnam lands and were not leaving anything to make money.
