Hippi Teaser: Casanova-Kickboxer’s Smooch Saga
RX100 actor Karthikeya’s new movie Hippi teaser is released and he seems to be continuing his kissing saga, which worked great in his last film. Unlike his look in RX100, Karthikeya transformed into a casanova- kickboxer with six pack, who claims himself a loverboy, but not a playboy.
With other noted actors like Vennela Kishore and JD chakravarthy, the teaser shows nothing much except his introducing his playboyish role, few kicks on the boxing ring, girls and him kissing them.
New actresses Digangana Suryavanshi and Jazba Singh are making their debut in Telugu with Hippi. Let us wait for the director TN Krishna’s trailer cut to see if there is something other than kissing and kicking.
Can Young ‘Vamshi’ Succeed With ‘Maharshi’?
Mahesh is coming with his 25th film, Maharshi on 9th May, 2019. PVP is producing the movie with Dil Raju and Ashwin Dutt.For movies, normally a successful title is a sentiment. They use classic titles to see that if that can help them catch the buzz.
Geethanjali, Malliswari, Ninne Pelladutha, Santhosham worked out well but many like Ganesh, Shatruvu, Shankarabharanam failed miserably at the box office.But Mahesh is using a flop yet cult 1988 movie title for his movie. Raghava, the main lead from the movie became Maharshi Raghava and Ilaiyaraja’s music from the movie is still popular.
Vamshi delivered a completely different love story but it couldn’t really do wonders like Darr for Shah Rukh Khan. As he made his stalker hero soft and silent, he went for an emotional climax but audiences couldn’t connect with character of Raghava.
Now, Vamshi Paidipally is using the same title for the biggest and most prestigious movie of his career. Interestingly both ‘Vamshi’s chose Maharshi title for their different and prestigious films. Senior Vamshi’s name was too huge in 1988 and Maharshi was his biggest gamble.Will this young Vamshi be able to work magic at box office while the movie also turns out to be really good? Let’s wait and see, how this reverse sentiment will work!?
Sai Dharam Tej Became ‘Sai Tej’ Now?
Even in the age of science and artificial intelligence, we do believe in things like numerology and astrology. That’s good, as long as it ups the spirit and gives a new energy booster to anyone. And now, we have to say that even Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej is depending on one.
After six back to back flops, this mega menalludu is now coming up with the movie “Chitralahari” that is directed by Kishore Tirumala. And now, like how some other heroes including the one from his family went for dropping of a certain word in their name, even Sai Dharam Tej did that.
The lyrical video of “Parugu Parugu” song shows his name as “Sai Tej” with a crown placed on the word Tej. While he is fondly called as Teju by his family members it looks like ‘Dharam’ is dropped for the good. Earlier we have Ram Charan Tej dropping that Tej from his birth name while Vijaya Sai Devarakonda dropped Sai from his passport name. Looks like Sai Tej also followed similar footsteps.
Featuring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Nivetha Pethuraj as leading ladies, Chitralahari is likely to hit cinemas on April 12th.
Rana Daggubati To Star In A Big Bollywood Film!
Rana Daggubati started his career as a typical Telugu mass masala hero after a delightfully different debut movie, Leader. That did not work out for him.He immediately decided to try out other languages as he got a Hindi movie chance like Dum Maaro Dum and even though it did not become a hit, it gave him many friends.
He became a good friend with Karan Johar that helped him to bring the producer on board for Baahubali. His look changed his fate and he started acting in all languages that he got an offer from.He acted with Ajith in Arrambham in Tamil and Baby with Akshay Kumar in Hindi. These two films along with Baahubali changed his image completely.
He can now dream big and be part of big Hindi and Tamil films along with Telugu films. He got a chance to act in a 1971 war film, Bhuj: The Pride of India.Ajay Devgn is acting as main lead in the film. Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra, Sanjay Dutt and Ammy Virk are acting in lead roles.
Along with this he will be seen in Housefull 4 and Haathi Mera Saathi. He also accepted Hiranyakasyapa in the direction of Guna Sekhar.
Jagan to change ex-CI in Hindupur LS seat?
Daredevil police officer Gorantla Madhav, who resigned from his post of circle inspector of Kadiri police station in Anantapur, has turned out to be unlucky in fulfilling his ambition to enter politics.
Madhav, who joined YSR Congress party a couple of months ago and has been nominated as party candidate from Hindupur Lok Sabha constituency, is being compelled to drop from the contest.
According to latest information from the party, the Election Commission is likely to reject Madhav’s nomination on the grounds that his resignation has not been accepted, as he has to complete the mandatory three months’ notice period. Apparently, the police department has been deliberately dodging on relieving him from the job.
Madhav hit the headlines a few months ago threatening to slash the tongue of firebrand TDP MP from Anantapur J C Diwakar Reddy.
He clashed with Diwakar Reddy who alleged that the police had miserably failed in controlling the violence in Tadipatri mandal that took place during the Ganesh Nimajjan festivities at Swamy Prabobhananda Ashram.
Since Madhav belongs to Kuruba caste which had big representation of voters in Hindupur Lok Sabha segment, Jagan preferred to field him from the constituency.
But now that his candidature has run into trouble, YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is compelled to look for an alternative candidate to fight the elections in the Hindupur parliamentary constituency.
Telugu Desam Party has fielded two-time MP and senior politician Nimmala Kishtappa from this constituency.
