When we talk about filmmakers who left their mark on Film Industry and in the hearts of Telugu audiences, KV Reddy, BN Reddy, Adurthi Subbarao, Bapu, K. Vishwanath, Kondandarami Reddy, K. Raghavendra Rao, Dasari Narayana Rao come to our mind.

Not many know about him, but we can’t escape his style and unique signature like Vamshi on-screen. By that sentence, we don’t mean his films have sticked one genre or are all made in one style.

Many in this generation heard his name as Arundhathi, Anji director but he much more than that. He could remake a film from any language without losing it’s flavour, make a comedy, innovate with technique, direct a serious emotional film and also come up with adult content.

He is a true versatile director of TFI, Kodi Ramakrishna. He died on 22nd February due to ill-health and many from Film Industry came to visit him for one last time.

Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna and many others who acted in his films like Intlo Ramayya Veedilo Krishnayya, Alaya Shikharam, Anji, Muddula Mavayya, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, Mangamma Gari Manavadu, Ankusam, Ahuthi, Arundhathi, Ammoru, and many more, gave him their last respects.

At Mahaprasthanam, his daughter Deepika gave him the license to leave the human body and became the angel like inspiration to many, as per Hindu rituals.

We will really miss his expertise to adapt to any genre and any style. His films will last as inspirations to coming generations. TFI lost a legend!

The MeToo movement can easily be called as a revolutionary movement in the Indian film industry. Many actresses from various industries came out strongly and confessed all the harassments they have undergone to survive in the industry. This movement has exposed the dark side of the film industry.

The latest entrant of this campaign is actress Kani Kusruthi, who was seen in the films like Cocktail, Pisassu and Shikkar. The actress was well known for her performance in the short film Maa. But she expressed her happiness on MeToo movement and hoped that it would bring a change in the industry slowly.

A Theft took place in the residence of Mohan Babu. Senior Actor’s Manager Chanti lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills Police in this regard.

Cops have been suspecting the involvement of Domestic Help in the case related to missing valuables. Cash and Jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh were found missing from Mohan Babu’s house. Banjara Hills Police registered a theft case and begun investigation.

Time has come for hero Ram Pothineni to prove that he is a box office bonanza, as most of his recent films didn’t work out though he sounded like changing his path after Nenu Sailaja movie. His next is ‘iSmart Shankar’ being directed by veteran gun Puri Jagan.

Like we said it already, this ‘double sim’ guy happens to be a closer clone of Pokiri, an industry hit delivered by Puri more than a decade ago. And now, Ram will be seen as both Police and Rowdy like in Pokiri and will take on the Hyderabad mafia in a typical Telangana slang. He will be romancing Nidhie Agarwal and Nabha Natesh while becoming this smartest guy.

Reports have that Puri is carving a new aggressive hero out of Ram on one side and a completely crazy version of it with other character. These variations are bound to surprise the audiences big time while the story is all about guns and glory again. We have to see what the duo will deliver.

Other day, Pelli Choopulu fame Priyadarshi and Arjun Reddy fame Rahul Ramakrishna starrer “Mithai” got released and critics gave a big thumbs down for it. As the film failed to get decent reviews, on Saturday morning Rahul Ramakrishna has come up with a series of tweets where he stated that he hasn’t believed in the film, and knows about this result advanced.

An hour later, the film’s director Prashant Kumar also released an Open Letter saying that when a film scores hit all the 80 members want the credit, but everyone puts blame on director if it fails. Going by these two open statements given by the actor and director, many might feel that they are ‘too honest’ in agreeing that their film is a flop. But here is the reality.

Even when Vinaya Vidheya Rama got a disaster talk, the makers promoted it on TV with promos for a couple of weeks. Only after it made 60 crores gross and about to exit from theatres, Charan sent an Open Letter. That way, he allowed his producer to collect some quick bucks though losses are imminent. Had he issued that Open Letter on Day 2 of the release itself, the damage would have been bigger.

Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu do takes some time to watch movies and for his personal space as well. In the recent times, he watched many movies and went on to appreciate them. Recently the vice president had watched ‘Yatra’ which is based on late politician YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s ‘padayatra’ and shared his thoughts.

“Yes, I watched the movie and it is really impressive. Director Mahi V Raghav and Malayalam actor Mammootty did a fantastic job,” said Venkaiah who is touring Nellore district. However being in a constitutional position, he refrained himself to comment further.

‘Yatra’ had its release on February 8th and got critical claims from critics while audience response was mixed. The film settled for an average gross at the box office.

‘Gang Leader’ is a mega blockbuster in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s career. According to sources, the super hit movie title will become title for Nani’s 24th movie being directed by Vikram Kumar.Production house Mythri Movie Makers made an announcement that the film’s title will be made official tomorrow (Feb 24) 5pm on the occasion of Nani’s birthday. It didn’t reveal the title yet.

However, our sources say Mythri has locked this Chiranjeevi’s title for Nani’s movie as it suits to the movie’s theme.Nani is playing a novel writer whose life gets interlinked with five women. Is he leader for these five women?

After venturing into exhibition business with AMB Cinemas, Mahesh is in plans to produce web series for popular streaming With so much on hand, Mahesh couldn’t be as punctual as he used to be on the sets. Hence, Maharshi shoot has been getting delayed further.

The film is unlikely to make it on April 25 as announced. It may get postponed to May according to the latest buzz.The delays are adding to the already overspent budget of Maharshi.
