Rakul Preet Singh Charges Extra for Nag
Even as Rakul Preet Singh is struggling to bag offers in Tollywood, she is getting good money for the films that she’s signing.
She missed the chance to pair up with Venkatesh in ‘Venky Mama’ but she has now more reason to celebrate as she bagged to act as romantic leading lady in senior actor Nagarjuna’s “Manmadhudu 2”. The highlight of this project is that she will receive more remuneration.
She will be paid whopping Rs 1.5 Cr for this movie since she’s acting opposite senior star.
Not many heroines are showing interest to pair up with senior actors like Venkatesh, Nagarjuna and Balakrishna. So, producers are shelling out extra money to convince the actresses like Tamannah and Rakul.
Though Rakul has not many Telugu films in hands, she demanded more money for ‘Manmadhudu 2’. The film will start rolling later this month.
Before signing this film, Rakul was willing to cut down her pay to snatch some offers. Interestingly, she is now getting more money than her regular remuneration.
Tamil Star Hero Confirms The Remake!
For many days, H. Vinoth and many from Tamil press stated that Ajith won’t be doing a remake and the film will be a normal masala entertainer.
But Thala Ajith decided to do two films for Boney Kapoor as Sri Devi wanted to produce films with him before her death.
He agreed to do Pink remake and there are certain changes that H. Vinoth who made Theeran Adhikaram Ondru/ Khakhee previously, did to the original to fit to Thala Ajith image.
Viswasam made it clear that Tamil Nadu youth and families are ready to see Ajith’s well made film over Rajni’s half-decent Petta.
This is a huge record for Ajith and many thought he may not take Pink remake with no heroism but Pink remake is titled Ner Konda Paarvai and movie could release on 1st May.
The second film for Boney Kapoor will be an action entertainer again with H. Vinoth, it seems. Without much hype and hoopla, team announced the title with first look on Mahasivaratri.

Mahesh wanted Anil Sunkara and Anil Ravipudi movie with Dil Raju as the presenter to release for Sankranthi and hence, the ripple effect broke his tie with Sukumar for his next.
Well, the reason for Mahesh to adamantly try and set this project up is the high remuneration that Anil Sunkara offered him, it seems.
Anil Sunkara is big fan of Krishna and Nagarjuna. He owed to make films with both the stars and when he launched operations, he contacted Mahesh and Nag, with big offers.
Mahesh agreed and they made Dookudu, Nenokkadine and Aagadu. That 14 Reels broke up and Mahesh got a new offer from Anil Sunkara to revive the producer, it seems.
He asked Mahesh to accept a movie under his banner and he will give him a 50% of the budget as remuneration, it seems.
Hence, this movie became crucial for all parties and for Anil Ravipudi, the brief is simple it seems. If he can present Mahesh in rough avatar like Srinu Vaitla or Puri Jagannath, he will get the movie to go on to floors by May end.
Anil is almost ready with the character sketch and he is working overtime to impress Dil Raju and Mahesh, it seems. He has till mid-April to finish all pre-production works, it seems. Sankranthi release is said to be the target of GMB, 14 reels plus and Dil Raju as presenter.

Upasana Exposes Devotional Side of Mr C
On the occasion of Maha Shiva Rathri, a lot of people performed special pujas to Lord Shiva and sought his blessings for the well-being of everyone. Ram Charan and his wife Upasana were also among them. Apparently, the couple performed pujas at an ancient temple that was built 800 years back.
Upasana posted pictures and videos in which Charan can be seen cleaning the Shiva Linga and performing the rituals in traditional attire.

If we get into the story, Karthi recently attended the audio launch of the film July Kattril. Veteran actress Kasturi hosted this event. When Karthi was on stage, she clicked a selfie with him and jokingly commented Karthi’s father Shiva Kumar is not around when she is clicking a selfie. Shiva Kumar was in news recently for beating up a fan who tried to click a selfie with him.
Hurt by the comments, Karthi said that it is a minimum courtesy to ask a celebrity for permission before clicking a selfie. Anyone would get angry when people mob us and click selfies without our consent. It would be great if people follow the minimum courtesy standards. In fact, whatever Karthi said is true and is a befitting reply to Kasturi’s statements.
