Kukatpally MLA Thanked Chiru For ‘Mega’ Support
In the recently concluded general elections, TRS party’s sitting MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao had won the Kukatpally constituency over TDP’s Nandamuri Suhasini with more than 41,000 vote majority. And now, surprising everyone, Madhavaram has met with actor-politician Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Madhavaram thanked Chiru for his victory in Kukatpally. Incidentally, when everyone was expecting a close contest between the TRS and the TDP, the Nandamuri fans had extensively worked for Suhasini. But much to everyone’s shock, all the Mega fans and the Kapu community sympathisers had worked in Madhavaram’s favour.
Close circles of Madhavaram and Chiranjeevi have downplayed their meeting as just a courtesy call to mutually exchange pleasantries on the New Year. However, political circles are abuzz with the talk that Madhavaram math Chiru for his indirect support in the elections in the Kukatpally constituency.
IT Raids On CM’s wife
The Income Tax department is holding raids at Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy’s wife Radhika’s residence in Bengaluru. The officials have arrived in two teams and are holding search operations at 10 locations, all related to Radhika.
The IT department is also raiding popular celebrities of the Kannada film industry. Mainstream hero Puneeth Rajkumar, producer ‘Rockline’ Venkatesh, ‘KGF’ producer Vijay Kirangandur and CR Mohan residences are the celebs in the list of IT raids.
Producer Venkatesh’s residence is located at Mahalakshmi layout while Puneeth Kumar resides in Sadasivanagar. The IT officials have scrutinizing every document and valuing the assets.
This has become a sensation on Thursday all over Karnataka state. The media is trying to reach the celebs for a comment. However, all the celebs phones are switched off.
Mega Hero Failed To Pull With Avg Content
As Telugu audiences are watching different concepts and genres these days, Mega Prince Varun Tej has attempted ‘Antariksham 9000 KMPH’ without any second thought. Also this film coming after two consecutive hits, Varun expected the film would get decent openings.
However, it went the other day. Forget about the openings, ‘Antariksham’ could not get the class audience appreciation too. It was a setback for Varun who has been planning for a standard market for himself. ‘Antariksham’ collections prove that Varun clearly lacks the charm to pull the audience with average content.
Heroes who juggle between genres don’t get connected with a section of audiences and so that will reflect when he experiments. Coming to Varun, fans want him to create a stable market and go for attempting different ideas that also have appeal or may be the commercial factor. After all, a box office hit is what matters at the end of the day.
Hopefully, Varun will learn as he is just seven films old.
All These Heroines Need A ‘Sankranthi’ Break!
Three big films are hitting cinemas this Sankranthi and more than the heroes, actually, the heroines of those films are in need of a dire break. If you still have any clouds over that, then go through this interesting snippet.
#NTR Kathanayakudu is the film that is hitting first on the eve of Sankranthi this year. And the film has Vidya Balan playing the leading lady in the role of NTR’s wife Basavatarakam. But she doesn’t need the break right now in Tollywood. The ones who need are heroines like Rakul Preet, Hansika and Praneetha. They really need one.
Cut to Varun Tej’s F2, we have hotties Tamanna and Mehreen doing the leads. While Tamanna needs another hit now to extend her career for years, Mehreen is tired of scoring flops from a long time. Both the beauties are looking forward to getting their box office fate changed in 2019.
At the same time, though Kiara Advani knocked doors of success with Bharat Anu Nenu, total credit went to Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva only. So she needs to prove her mettle as a glamorous starlet with Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
Definitely, this Sankranthi should give a break to these beauties, and hope it does.
Posani’s ‘Operation’ Against Chandrababu?
Other day, maverick writer and acerbic speaker Posani Krishna Murali announced that he will be soon directing another film whose story will be in the likes of Operation Duryodhana. Though the director’s thoughts and ideas are widely appreciated by some sections of the audience, this political film is not getting attention.
For the kind of Chandrababu Naidu bashing and for seeking all the Kamma caste people to vote against anti-TDP parties, Posani was back into the news couple of weeks ago. But if he had stayed neutral or joined hand with parties other than YSR Congress, he would have got hefty regard. Surprisingly his loyalties fell to YS Jagan and that is where people are not believing him.
Had Posani Murali Krishna not joined hands with Jagan, truly many would have believed that he will be coming up with a genuine political satire on the current situation in the two Telugu states. But with Jagan backing him, some netizens asked, “Posani garu, how could you do pooja with a knife in hand?”. Because everyone knows how YSR Congress feeds on bashing opponents with filthy accusations, rather than indulging in transparent and respectable politics.
Even then, if Posani could keep his political aspirations aside and make a movie that is genuine and watch-worthy, surely the film will get a red carpet rolled at the box office.
TRS Leaders and Cadre Feel ‘pity’ For Harish Rao!
TRS leaders and cadre are feeling pity for T Harish Rao and unable to digest the ‘shabby treatment’ being meted out to their leader after Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao assumed office for the second term recently.
During the first term of KCR’s cabinet, Harish as irrigation minister played a crucial role in the speedy execution of irrigation projects, especialy Kaleshwaram project.
Harish got national fame for his efforts in the speedy implementation of Kaleshwaram project. Right from union cabinet ministers, ministers and officials of various states, Governor etc, who visited Kaleshwaram project earlier were all praises for Harish Rao.
Several national and international news channels and magazines have done special stories on Kaleshwaram and highlighted Harish Rao’s efforts.
However, when TRS stormed into power after winning recent Assembly polls, KCR had not given irrigation portfolio to Harish so far.
In fact, KCR has been giving clear signals that Harish will no longer be made irrigation minister.
For this, KCR has been holding review meetings on Kaleshwaram and other irrigation projects without inviting Harish Rao.
KCR, is currently touring construction sites of Kaleshwaram project. KCR is accompanied by TRS MLAs and MLCs to Kaleshwaram tour but Harish was ignored though he is very much available in Hyderabad and Siddipet.
With this, Harish has confined himself to his Siddipet constituency and taking up various development activities.
TRS leaders and cadre are feeling pity for Harish, who is known as trouble shooter in the party.
They are upset over KCR deliberately sidelining and humiliating Harish for the sake of political growth of his son KTR.
#NTR Biopic: Trouble Troubles You Lakshmi Parvathi
With just six days more for the film’s release, actually, the makers of #NTR Biopic have knocked the doors of Censor to finish all the formalities couple of days ago. But we hear that the Censor Board is said to have asked them to bring a NOC from popular personalities like Lakshmi Parvathi and Nadendla Bhaskara Rao.
While Nadendla and Co are okay to be managed, with not much of their part present in the first part of the biopic, NTR Kathayanakudu, we wonder why Censor Board asked them to get a clearance from Lakshmi Parvathi, who is not at all present in the first part. Reports are coming that the second wife of NTR has actually written a letter to board citing some objections.
In this context, many are saying that if today Lakshmi Paravathi troubles the release of #NTR Biopic, then tomorrow the release of Lakshmi’s NTR will be troubled much. Because for that film, the whole of NTR family should give a NOC including that of Nara Chandrababu Naidu. If she tries to show them stars today, wouldn’t they pay her back soon?
All said and done, the film might get the much-needed Censor clearance in a day or two as LP and Nadendla don’t have a predominant role in NTR’s Kathanayakudu. Also, the whole film has shown everyone in a positive light, because to highlight NTR there is no need to downgrade any!!

Bellamkonda Sreenivas signs ‘RX100’ director
Hero Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas has signed two new films. On the occasion of his birthday on Thursday, an official announcement is made.
Sreenivas is going to be team up with directors Ajay Bhupathi of ‘RX100’ fame and Ramesh Varma. The details of the second film are out.
With Ramesh Varma, it is going to be an action entertainer. In this film, Sreenivas will be sporting a new look as well.
Satyanarayana Koneru and Havish Lakshman Koneru will be bankrolling the movie under A Studios banner.

First Look: Jagapathi Babu As YS Raja Reddy
Versatile actor Jagapathi Babu is playing YS Raja Reddy, father of YS Rajasekhar Reddy in the film Yatra.It is just a few minute cameo but given the importance of the character, Jagapathi Babu has been roped in.
Yatra is a movie based on real life incidents in late legendary leader YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s life. Specifically, Yatra is based upon the iconic Pada Yatra that brought YSR into power against all odds. Malayalam superstar Mammootty is playing the lead role in the film directed by Mahi V. Raghav. It is bankrolled by Vijay Chilla and Sasi Devireddy on 70 MM Entertainments.
The buzz around the film is building by the day and the first look of Jagapathi Babu’s look as YS Raja Reddy will further boost its business prospects.
