Inside talk: Highlights Of Antariksham
With just a couple of days left for the worldwide release, expectations on Antariksham are escalating to the next level. The film’s stunning trailer has created a lot of buzz. Movie lovers are confident that Ghazi director Sankalp Reddy will live up to the expectations.
And here we have some exclusive details regarding Antariksham’s story. Apparently, the film’s main story happens in the first half, which will take place on the earth. The second half will entirely take place in the space and it will be quite thrilling. The VFX in the second half will be a main highlight.
Not stopping there, the film’s climax will be 8 minute long and the gripping drama will offer a nail-biting experience. If the content clicks with the audience, there’s no exaggeration in saying that Antariksham will be a landmark movie in Tollywood history.
Nepotism Debate: Why Bunny Behaving This Way?
Other day at Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Bunny told the animated audience, “I am the biggest ambassador of nepotism”. Earlier on a couple of occasions, he spoke about nepotism in a similar way. Comments are being heard that few other heroes who come from big filmy families are actually worried about these views of Stylish Star.
Earlier we have said umpteen times that nepotism, the act of favoring our relatives and friends, will only help all these ‘family’ based heroes to get 2-3 films. Those chances will come to commoners also, and that is why we have Nani, Raj Tarun, and Vijay Devarakonda today. And then, people who come to industry due to film background should prove their mettle to stay here.
The best example of that is none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and also Allu Arjun. Despite their elders being strong men in the film industry, these actors became superstars of a range that others find tough to match. There is more hard work and discipline behind their success. Knowing all these, why is Bunny project himself as the brand ambassador of nepotism is the question here?
And as Allu Arjun is in a successful position now, other brand ambassadors of nepotism are feeling sad, thinking that actually, the mega hero is making a mockery of them.
Even Balayya Said No To Vinayak?
Having delivered a blockbuster Chennakesava Reddy (2002) in their combination, the star director VV Vinayak & ‘Legend’ actor Nandamuri Balakrishna have decided to collaborate again under the production of C Kalyan. But, now, the project seems to be not working as per plan.
From the sources close to movie unit, it is learnt that the final version of the story is not yet formally locked. So, Balakrishna is on the verge of giving out his call sheets to the director who gave him resounding hits-Boyapati Srinu, once he finishes off NTR biopic.
With Balakrishna unlikely on the board, Vinayak is said to be on lookout for another star hero to roll out his movie. Fans of Balakrishna have been waiting to see this combination after more than one and half decade but there seems a roadblock for it now.
Just like another senior director Srinu Vaitla, VV Vinayak is also seriously struggling to make a solid comeback. Besides Khaidi No.150 which is a remake film, both his previous movies Akhil and Intelligent ended up as box-office duds. So, the senior filmmaker, who is highly popular with action movies, should concentrate on the storyline to gain the attention of audiences again.
Seizure of Guest House : Prabhas Moves High Court
Taking severe objection to the act of Serlingampally revenue officials who seized his guest house at Raidurg in Rangareddy over a land dispute, actor Prabhas has approached High Court. Prabhas has moved the High Court against the move by revenue officials and complained that his guest house has been seized without prior notice or information. The complaint said he has not received any notices from the officials.
It is learnt that the revenue officials have pasted the notice to the main gate of Prabhas’ guest house as no one was available at the time of seizure and the guest house has been seized accordingly. Notice boards have been placed at the site indicating that the land belongs to government.
Going into details, several houses and properties in the area have been seized by the revenue officials following court’s order. Serlingampally Tahsildar has been ordered to remove the illegal constructions in the Raidurg area in the survey No. 46. 84 Acres and 30 Guntas land is in dispute from longtime and court recently given orders in favour of petitioners Mala Ramulu, Neerudu Lakshmaiah and Siva Ramakrishna who claim to own some area of land in survey No. 46.
Receiving the court orders, Serlingampally Tahsildar and his team had acted against all the properties, houses in the contentious land. Several locals have raised the objection and threatened to move the court.
Varun Tej’s Next Film On Hold?
While Tollywood’s first space film, featuring the young Mega prince Varun Tej, is all set for release on this Friday – the actor of Anthariksham has got a setback from the makers of his upcoming film.
Varun Tej has signed a big budget film for 14 Reels Plus banner, which’s to be directed by Ayyare fame Sagar Chandra. The untitled film was scheduled to hit shooting floors after the Anthariksham. But, going by the latest reports from Film Nagar, the producers (Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta) are planning to shelve this film considering the budget (33 Cr), that was planned, would be too heavy for Varun Tej’s market to pull off.
Though Varun is delivering back to back hits, his market potential hasn’t expanded much. Also, the Sagar K Chandra is a budding director who in the past made Ayyare & Appatlo Okadundevadu. Even, this could have been one of the reasons to hold Varun Tej’s film. However, if Antariksham shatters the box-office with an impressive run, that would clear the clouds over his next film.
#RRR: Ram Charan’s Babai is a Tamilian
No other character from the ambitious multi-starrer movie ‘RRR’ is revealed by the makers. Director Rajamouli is said to be taking a call on the supporting cast to ensure right actors are filling the right roles.
Finally Rajamouli zeroed upon an actor who will reprise the ‘Babai’ role of Ram Charan in the movie. He is Samuthirkani. This Tamil director turned actor is a familiar face to the Telugu audience, all thanks to the dubbed films of heroes Dhanush and Karthi.
As ‘RRR’ is being simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu languages, Rajamouli is picking up actors who are not new to both the audiences. So we can look out for a bunch of more such actors.
Once again apart from Samuthirakani’s role no detail is being shared by the team for obvious reasons. But we can expect a ‘Babai-Abbai’ track for few minutes in the movie. What it’s going to be like and how crucial it will be, is up to the audience guess.
‘RRR’ has wrapped up the first schedule with an action episode on Ram Charan and Jr NTR. The second schedule may resume post Sankranthi festival.
Election Schedule to Hamper NTR Biopic 2
There is no clarity about the release date for NTR Biopic 2 yet. The film has been postponed from its original date – Jan 24. Plan is to release it in the third week of February.
But latest reports suggest that election commission is all set to announce the schedule for General Elections (Loksabha) as well as Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections in third week of February.
The poll code comes into effect the day election schedule is announced.
Then it will face problems from election commission. Even if the movie releases in the second week of February. The commission will have authority to terminate the movie’s screening from the third week when the election schedule is announced.
On the other hand, YSR’s Biopic “Yatra” has already locked Feb 8 as its release date and the film will have two to three weeks of solid time to run in theaters.

No Takers For Naidu Again In Telangana!
It appears Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has become a persona non grata in Telangana, after the recent debacle of the grand alliance or Maha Kootami in the recent assembly elections in the state.
Many leaders in the Maha Kootami has now started expressing their views rather openly that Naidu’s campaign had done more harm than good to the alliance.
“There should not have been any alliance with the TDP in the first place, as the people of Telangana still feel Naidu is the real villain who had tried to stall the formation of separate state till the last moment. They were carried away by TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao’s campaign that Naidu was trying to bring back Andhra colonial rule back in Telangana,” a Congress leader said.
Telangana Jana Samithi president M Kodandaram also felt that the intense campaign of Naidu in Telangana was one of the reasons for the Maha Kootami’s failure in the elections. He said people thought that elections were a fight between KCR and Naidu.
Another Congress leader said it was initially thought the TDP vote bank would get transferred to the Congress.“Especially, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu’s campaign would help attract settlers’ votes. But the strategy backfired completely,” he said.
