Rahul Gives Big Surprise To Veteran Heroine
It is a double bonanza to Telugu veteran heroine and Telangana Congress senior leader Vijaya Shanthi. She has been given two key positions in the party ahead of the Assembly elections.
The lady Amitabh has been nominated as the Star Campaigner of Congress. She is the lone leader in Telangana Congress was given such important post.
Vijaya Shanthi was also appointed as Advisor to the party’s Election Campaign Committee. She will oversee the party’s campaign all through the election season and take part star campaigner. All the senior Congress leaders wonder-struck on giving important posts to the film actor turned political leader. She is likely to contest as MP from Medak Parliamentary Constituency, the native place of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Wanted To Ally With TRS – Chandrababu
Chandrababu Naidu has made surprising comments. He said TDP had wanted to ally with the TRS in Telangana and thus wanted to have good friend in the neighbouring state. Chandrababu said he wanted both the Telugu states to have cordial and friendly relation to progress together. He blamed BJP for playing spoilsport. Naidu alleged BJP of adopting ‘divide and rule’ policy and accused it of creating fights between Andhra and Telangana.
Stating that people of AP won’t forgive BJP for its heinous acts, Naidu said the next generations will teach a strong lesson to the saffron party for playing politics with people and their lives.
In a direct attack, Naidu said BJP wanted the downfall of AP and TDP. He questioned why BJP doesn’t want to fulfill the promises it made to AP and why it won’t fulfill the assurances the Centre had given to AP in AP Reorganization Act.
Jagan is AP Sasikala
Indicating that Opposition leader Jagan Mohan Reddy is AP’s Sasikala, Naidu alleged that Jagan has feared of his cases against him and joined with BJP to avoid cases. He said Jagan compromised with BJP to come out of his cases and mortgaged the interests of AP. Chandrababu said TDP won’t give up its fight and would continue to fight. He even stated that it will be TDP who will get the Special Category Status to AP.
Chandrababu has also asked AP BJP leaders to mount pressure on their party’s senior leaders to do justice for Andhra Pradesh.
Don’t Vote For Congress, It Promised Special Status To AP
With elections are fast approaching, the Telangana sentiment is back. The TRS, which had stormed to power in 2014 based on the sentiment, is banking on it yet again. With there is a lot of anti-incumbency and failed promises by KCR, TRS seems to have realized that sentiment only works in Telangana.
Harish Rao has asked why should anyone vote for Congress alleging the grand-old party of “cheating” Telangana. While it appears to be quite surprising, Harish continued saying Congress had declared national status to Polavaram Irrigation Project but it has given ’empty hand’ to Pranahita Irrigation project in Telangana.
Finding fault with Congress’ promise of Special Category Status to AP, Harish Rao claimed that Telangana would lose companies, investments if AP is given Status. Harish said Congress has given a raw deal to Telangana and asked people not to vote for it. He further said that all the parties have joined together for power but not for people.
Harish’s comments are drawing mixed reaction given that it was Congress that gave separate statehood for Telangana with Hyderabad as capital and made Telangana a state with surplus budget.
KTR pledges to Quit Politics, If TRS Loses
Weeks ahead of assembly elections in Telangana, the war of words between TRS and Congress party leaders is mounting to a new high day by day. On Wednesday, IT and Municipal Minister KTR declared that he will quit politics if TRS does not win the polls.
He also threw out a challenge to TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy to prove his potential by becoming the Chief Minister of Telangana. Confessing that few leaders in party are disgruntled over not getting party ticket, KTR said voters of Telangana are with KCR and want his administration back.
The minister took a swipe at Congress-TDP alliance by calling it a ‘Maha Gatiya Bandhan’ and said that their partnership will advantage TRS itself. In an interview to a national media, KTR said it would be easy for the TRS to emerge as triumphant against both these parties in one shot.
Gossip : Young Producer Can’t Leave Hot Heroine
He is a young producer and is media shy. She is a hot heroine who is very liberal and greedy about offers. Love blossomed between them. In fact, she had ended her relation with a director only for this producer. Buzz is that the duo is catching up often and is having great time at a star hotel. Talk is that he fallen for her that he couldn’t leave her.
Floored by her, the producer is said to be recommending her to many of his friends. In fact, he even repeated her in his own films and over-promoted her.
While he even tried to cast her in his next production, many of his close aides intervened and advised him not to repeat her. Even the producer’s family said to have got the tip off and forced him to not to cast her. This said to have pushed him into dilemma now.
I Acted For Free in Many Films: Sudheer Babu
Sudheer Babu is the new kid on the block in the club of actors-turned-producers. As many actors and heroes turn producers to have control over their films and to earn more from their films, what is the reason behind Sudheer Babu’s production debut. Has he earned a lot of money from acting and now putting that money into production?
“(Laughs). Frankly, I haven’t earned money from my films. I acted for free in most of my films. In fact, over 50 percent of my films, I hardly got money. Turning into producer wasn’t deliberate or pre-planned. Situations have made me turn into a producer,” shares Sudheer.
What exactly are the situations that have pushed him to take up production. “Honestly, the original producer of the film has dropped for his personal reasons. Director and me are very close and we have been thinking and finally, I decided to produce the film. I’ve so much confidence on the film’s script that made me to take over the film.”
So, why did you launch your own production banner instead of producing the film on Superstar Krishna’s banner or your brother-in-law Mahesh Babu’s production banner? “See, I’m an independent person. I’ve been acting on my own. I’ve struggled and faced a lot of difficulties in this journey. I have never sought anyone’s help in getting roles. If I want to be dependent, I could have just followed by my Dad’s business and would have worked from 9 to 5 pm and would have spent time with family happily. But I chose this field since I love it. I want to make my own name. That’s why I didn’t produce Nannu Dochukunduvate in Mahesh Babu production banner or Padmalaya Productions or Indira Productions.”
Did he consider his market before producing Nannu Dochukunduvate? “Whatever the story has required, we just arranged without compromising. But usually, I choose scripts that suit me and my market.”
The urban romance features Sudheer Babu as Karthik, a dead-serious boss without any emotions or sentiments and how he changes for good and what comes in between make Nannu Dochukunduvate. Sudheer Babu is pretty confident of the film and says he is quite elated after watching the film. He said he is keeping his fingers crossed to see how audiences would receive the film.
Akhil, What Is That Title? What Is This Promo?
Taking titles of their elders is a tradition followed from years by successors of film stars. Walking in the same lines, now Akhil Akkineni is coming up with “Mr Majnu”, taking a queue from Nagarjuna’s “Majnu”, directed by Dasari Narayana Rao.
Actually the first promo of “Mr Majnu” promises Akhil as a big playboy who doesn’t want to miss any Miss in London. And his romance with many foreign girls got highlighted in the name of Devadas’ grandson and Manmadhudu’s heir. But frankly speaking, some hardcore movie lovers felt that there is no connection between the teaser and title of the film.
‘Majnu’ is the word derived from popular Layla-Majnu story belonging to the Arabic tales from the 6th century. Majnu was deeply in love with Layla and feels shattered after her parents forcibly separate her from him and marries her off to a rich person. Later, Layla falls sicks and dies, after which Majnu also weeps at her grave and dies.
When everyone is expecting such an intense love story from Akhil, this funny playboy act is a little jerky. Something relatable to the title would have worked better, though cinema lovers don’t expect a serious failure love story of the Akkineni lad on the silver screen.
Buzz: Can This Aggressive Cutie Make It?
With Samantha slowly losing her queen bee position, many thought that other girls like Rashi Khanna, Anupama Parameswaran, Keerthi Suresh, Anu Emmanuel or Mehreen at least will grab that spot. But that is not happening anytime soon it looks like.

And her cute acts in Nannau Dochukunduvate trailer actually got all the attention for her.
Guess what, her PR team aggressively promotes her pictures, sending her images from various event much in advance than the original event manager. What we have to see is, if this aggressiveness will help her beget new stardom thereby leading to that top spot? Let’s see!!
