For the first time, Mahesh’s brother-in-law Sudheer Babu has ventured into production. He is bankrolling his own film Nannu Dochukunduvate on his own banner and the film is all set to hit the screens this week. Even the film’s trailer looks impressive. But the film still needs more buzz to reach to masses. Amidst this, Sudheer Babu had a grand pre-release event at a star hotel last night. Many had expected that Mahesh Babu would come as a chief guest and give the much-needed buzz to the film. But pouring cold water on hopes of fans, Mahesh hasn’t turned up for the do.

Right from the grand launch of Sudheer’s own production, Mahesh has not appeared for any of the event related to the film. So, naturally, many expected that Mahesh would come for the pre-release event at least as it would help the film ahead of its release.

Talk is that Mahesh may come for the post-release promotions of the film. One has to see how this gonna help the film.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya are the loving couple. The couple have tied the knot on October 6, 2017. As they are all set to enter into their first wedding anniversary, the couple is having double celebrations as both of their films U-turn, Shailaja Reddy Alludu respectively were successful.

In a candid interview to a TV channel, Sam wore a heart on her sleeve. She has revealed many unknown things about them. Revealing that who has fallen for whom first, Sam admitted that it is her who have fallen for Chaitu while the shooting of Ye Maya Chesave. Sam said Chaitu had been very helpful then as it was her debut film. She said initially she had also focused about her lengthy dialogues and her performance, but she said she slowly started liking Chaitu.

Sam spilled the beans that it is Chaitu who is the head at home and who calls the shots. She said it’s not her who dominates.

When asked about her ‘short temper’ that was rumoured in the industry, Sam admitted it and quickly added that Chaitu has cut short her short temper. Samantha said she has changed a lot after marrying Naga Chaitanya.

Sam also revealed that both Chay and her would talk in English at home. When asked why don’t they talk in Telugu, Sam quipped that even Chay can’t speak Telugu fluently as he is brought up in Chennai. Sam said she would call Chaitu as Baby.

With the release of Nagarjuna and Nani starrer ‘Devadas’, the month of September ends. So far, all movies had released without any hitch.

But Vijay Deverakonda and his producers as well as Ravi Teja’s movie producers are in total confusion and it is leading to further disorder for the new releases in the month of October.

Ravi Teja and Sreenu Vaitla’s “Amar Akbar Anthony” that was to release on 5th October has been pulled out. But they have not made it official yet, nor are they confirming that would they release it in October end or November.

Furthermore, Vijay Deverakonda and his producers have been planning to release “NOTA” on October 4 but they have come under pressure from other makers.

If “NOTA” gets released on October 4, it will not get sufficient theaters in its second week as NTR’s “Aravindha Sametha” is releasing on October 11. If it sticks to October 18th date, it will face stiff competition from Vishal’s “Pandem Kodi 2” in Tamil.

Moreover, the makers are particular that they want to release “NOTA” before Vijay’s “Sarkar” hits the screens on Deepavali (November 1st week) because both the movies are political thrillers. “NOTA” has no choice but release in October.

Though they have released in trailer so early, they have stopped promotions there after due to this confusion about release date.

Certain incidents don’t even invite our celebs talking about them on social media and other places. For example, many Telugu stars kept mum to talk about #APSpecialStatus issue. Recently many didn’t even respond on Article 377 verdict as well. But at least, this particular incident is making them open up.

Other day Ram Charan also responded on the honor killing that happened in Miryalguda, Telangana, where a youngster named Pranay got killed by his wife’s father for marrying against their wishes. Earlier, the likes of Manchu Manoj and Nikhil have come down heavily on the incident and condemned the so-called ‘caste’ indifference.

If we have to tell frankly, Telugu Film industry is laced with the huge dose of casteist feelings and caste-fanatics often worship heroes of their caste only. That’s the reason we see certain castes divided for certain heroes. And the likes of Charan and Manoj not only gave these anti-caste statements on Twitter but in turn they married people from other castes, standing as true examples.

Film personalities will create a huge impact on the society and if they join hands to eradicate caste system, definitely we will see new Telugu states before seeing new India. Hope many more stars will respond on Pranay incident and stands together to demand justice for the poor soul who left this world leaving his wife and their unborn kid in permanent distress.

After the sudden demise of Nandamuri Harikrishna, his younger brother Nandamuri Balakrishna buried the past differences with NTR Jr and has started mingling with him.A video showing he is having affectionate conversation with NTR Jr and Kalyan Ram went viral and it has already been confirmed that Kalyan Ram is reprising the role of his father Harikrishna in NTR Biopic that is being produced by Balakrishna.

Kalyan Ram will be shooting for the biopic next month. There have been reports that Balakrishna is thinking of giving a role to NTR Jr as well as they have now patched up.When the biopic was launched Balakrishna vehemently denied giving any role to NTR Jr when Krish came up with the idea.Although Balakrishna has changed his mind now, it is clear whether NTR Jr can really get a role in the biopic.

The Young Tiger wants to portray the younger version of his grandfather NT Rama Rao but he may not suit now. Balakrishna wants his son Mokshagna to do the younger role of NT Rama Rao.Mokshagna has been trying to lose the weight and be fit for the acting debut. He has been put away from media glare. Mokshagna didn’t even come to the funeral of Harikrishna.

So if Mokshagna really makes debut, NTR Jr will not have chance to do the role. As of now, there is no clarity on these two.

Samantha had released two films on the same day in Tamil but both bombed at the box-office. While her bilingual ‘U Turn’ that won great critical acclaim and also saw good collections in Telugu, the Tamil version flopped miserably.

On the same day, her commercial entertainer ‘Seema Raja’ starring Siva Karthikeyan also released to lukewarm response. As per the latest reports, this movie is also heading towards flop.Samantha who has given three hits in a row this year – ‘Rangasthalam’, ‘Mahanati’ and ‘ Irumbu Thirai’ (Abhimanyudu in Telugu) has now got two flops and both these failures are in Kollywood.

However, Samantha is content with the response of “U Turn” in Telugu. It has been her dream to deliver a hit with a heroine-oriented movie/thriller like Anushka or Nayanthara have been consistently doing.She is yet to deliver such a massive hit like they did but she got pass marks with ‘U Turn’ in Telugu in her maiden attempt.

If at all that movie attracts any divide talk, anti-fans will strike with some extreme trolling on that actor and the film.
