Maharashtra court issues warrant against Andhra CM
Hyderabad: A court in Maharashtra on Thursday issued warrant against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu in an eight-year-old case relating to his protest over Babli Project.
The Dharmabad Magistrate’s Court also issued warrants to Andhra Pradesh Cabinet Minister D. Umamaheshwar Rao and 14 others. They were all directed to appear before the court on September 21, according to sources in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)
In 2010, the TDP had organised a huge protest over what it called illegal construction of Babli Project across Godavari river by the Maharashtra government.
Naidu, who was then the Leader of Opposition in undivided Andhra Pradesh, along with 40 MLAs of his party and many, had entered Maharashtra and was heading towards Babli Project in violation of the ban orders imposed by the neighbouring state.
The police had arrested Naidu and others and registered a non-bailable case against them.
Recently a petitioner approached the Dharmabad court, seeking direction to reopen the case.
The TDP Thursday night reacted sharply to the warrant against Naidu and alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is behind the conspiracy. TDP leader Buddha Venkanna told reporters in Vijayawada that the BJP is resorting to witch-hunting.
Bandla Ganesh to Contest on Congress Ticket
Producer Bandla Ganesh has surprised everyone by joining Congress party. Bandla Ganesh today took the party membership and officially joined the oldest party in India in presence of Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi.
Bandla Ganesh who has been dragged into many controversies and is also facing cheque bounce cases is known as loyal friend of Pawan Kalyan.
Till few months ago, he was telling that he would contest from Jana Sena and now he has joined the Congress party.
He also said that Congress will be forming the next government. When asked whether he is joining the Congress party to evade cases on him, he said he doesn’t have any cases.
He also said he has been admirer of Congress party’s policies from childhood. He avoided questions about Pawan Kalyan.
There is no promise from Rahul Gandhi about giving ticket to him but he is hoping contest from Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad on Congress ticket in the coming general elections in Telangana.
He hails from Shadnagar in Telangana state.
Not Against Critics: Aadhi Pinisetty
Actor Aadhi Pinisetty said he is not against critics and reviews. Aadhi interacted with media as his role from ‘U Turn’ is getting good feedback.Speaking Aadhi said, “This is a genuine film with social concept. ‘U Turn’ is an example of what goes around, comes around.”
He added that he really liked his introduction in the movie as there is no special episode as such and happy to be part of a good cinema.After watching this film, Aadhi said he stopped going in wrong directions and that kind of impact it created on him.
“U Turn is that film that doesn’t preach the audience but it will show it’s indirect influence,” stated Aadhi.Further Aadhi said working with Pawan is great and he developed a good rapport with him during the course of making.
Rakshit Earns Respect For Defending Rashmi

When Rashmika’s mother was contacted for clarification, she said, “We are disturbed and on the path to recovery. For every individual, his life comes first. Nobody likes to hurt each other and everybody should be happy.”

Reel Buzz: Excess Of NTR Bhajana
The biopic on NTR is being made on a large scale and timed for an election release to bring the TDP back to power.
Apparently, the film is being made in such a way that the impression sought to be conveyed is that the Telugus are blessed to have a personality like NTR.Every two lines of dialogue will be eulogising him to the skies and depicting him as the greatest thing to have happened in Andhra Pradesh.
Whether the people of Andhra Pradesh believe this is an entirely different matter.Rana Daggubati will be playing the role of Chandrababu Naidu and Chandrababu will also be shown in a vey positive avatar.Look at the irony. While Chandrababu dethroned NTR, his own son Nandamuri Balakrishna was partner to this treachery.
Now a biopic is being made by Balakrishna which will show his son-in-law and sons as great human beings. Downright ludicrous!
U-Turn Movie Review and Rating
U Turn is the remake of Kannada hit by the same name. Pawan Kumar who directed the original wielded the megaphone for remake too.
What is it about?
Rachana (Samantha) is an intern journalist who wants to report something big. She focuses on the traffic violators who move the divider blocks on a flyover. She is also in the process of getting close to her colleague, a crime reporter (Rahul Ravindran). Rachana gets the bike number of a violator from a roadside elderly person and traces his address. But he is found dead when Rachana visits his home. Now Rachana turns the prime suspect for the killing. A police officer called Nayak (Aadhi) believes that she is innocent and gets into the details of the case. He finds startling facts about many mysterious deaths that happened to all the violators who took the wrong turn. Who is behind these killings and what happens to Rachana?
Performances:
Samantha’s makeover as a simple but independent girl is perfect. She got into the skin of the character and made us believe that she is an ordinary girl who is caught in an extra ordinary situation. She had dubbed in her own voice too. Aadhi is good as a sincere cop. Rahul Ravindran also is aptly cast. Bhumika gets a small but important role to play.
Technicalities:
Pawan Kumar remained faithful to the original in spite of getting better star cast and bigger budget for the remake. He could recreate the magic of the original with taut narration and realistic taking. The way he hooks you on to the story is commendable.
There are no songs in the film, but background score is on point. Cinematography by Niketh places you in the middle of the situation. Production design is superb. Dialogues are simple yet effective.

Analysis:
U Turn doesn’t waste any time in getting to the thick of the things. The viewers will be left as clueless and as puzzled as Samantha at the beginning of the events. The director creates nail biting suspense as we get to know details about the mysterious U Turn. Most part of the first half focuses on the investigative part and is confined to a single location (police station). However, there is no lack of action as things get further interesting with each incident. The execution of the script in the first half is terrific and makes you impatient to watch the second half.
Second half also maintains similar pace and tension for most part. But it turns out a bit drab after the actual reason is revealed. The supernatural element is hard to believe and we find many logical errors as we get more details about the actual incident. The tautness maintained to that point also goes missing once the mystery is revealed. It could have been trimmed down a bit and should have maintained the pace during the climatic sequences. Director shines in creating a dream like sequence where Samantha gets to know about the actual reason behind the killings. We expect more such creative stuff than regular mom and daughter supernatural drama.
U Turn’s strength lies in its approach. A simple, relatable concept told in a most effective manner separates it from the rest. Everyone involved have given their hundred percent to the film. Pawan Kumar once again succeeds in getting his casting right. Samantha and Aadhi are aptly cast and take the story forward with their effortless portrayal of Rachana and Nayak respectively. Technically the film is brilliant with topnotch cinematography and super effective production design.
U Turn isn’t perfect but it checks most of the boxes that are needed for a well executed thriller. It loses some bite towards the end with logical holes, but that doesn’t take away its plus points. It will appeal to the audience who love to watch thrillers and suspense filled stories. It is a film worth watching if you look for novel experience at the cinemas. It should be a successful one given the minimal costs and crowd pulling star like Samantha playing the main lead.
Verdict: An Interesting Turn Indeed!
US can reject visa, Green Card applications for errors
Travelling to the US for Indian passport holders is going to get a lot tougher. A new visa rule for USA that kicked in on September 12 this year, says that authorities can now reject an application over missing documents and mistakes, without giving the applicant an opportunity to explain.
The rule is likely to apply to H1B visa holders too.
A Hindustan Times report says that the people who are most likely to be affected by the new changes are the ones looking to procure a Green Card and stay in the country as a citizen, immigrants, non-immigrants who want to stay and work in the country on a temporary basis and people who want a US citizenship.
What comes as slight relief is that applicants who want to go to the US on a tourist visa or for business are not going to be affected by the revised rules.
The new rule is likely to make the process of getting a visa to the US – an already notoriously complex process – even lengthier, more complex and more expensive.
Failing to provide accurate documents or errors in the application may also lead to a person, already residing in the US, being deported to India if he or she falls out of status during the process.
The move has been called a ‘major shift’ by emigration lawyers, says the report in the daily.
Indians who hold an H1B visa in the US will be impacted by the change, as will people who seek a work-related Green Card and wish to settle down in the US. Every year, about 9,800 Indians acquire Green Cards for work.
“This policy change is part of an ongoing effort to help faithfully execute and protect the integrity of our laws, cut down on frivolous applications, reduce waste, and help ensure legitimate, law abiding petitioners seeking greater safety, security and prosperity aren’t undermined by those able to game our system,” Michael Bars, spokesperson for US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), said.
In June this year, the USCIS had said about the new rule, “It is not intended to penalise filers for innocent mistakes or misunderstandings of evidentiary requirements.”

Shock To Jagan, Ex MLA Meets Pawan
Contrary to recent media reports that Rajole ex MLA and former Congress leader Rapaka Varaprasada Rao would join YSRCP, Varaprasad has given a shock to Jagan as he met Pawan Kalyan. Rapaka said to have a detailed discussion with Pawan and his entry into Janasena is almost certain.

Standup Comedian Makes fun of Mahesh Babu, Fans Angry!
A Tamil standup comedian chose to make fun of Mahesh Babu in his recent video, which is making the superstar fans angry. Manoj Prabhakar is a not-so-popular standup comedian suddenly got into the news with his unwanted remarks on Mahesh Babu’s acting and expressions.
