CBI To Arrest Naidu Very Soon?
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or the Enforcement Directorate (ED) might start witch-hunting of Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu from Monday, if one were to believe the predictions of actor-turned-political activist Shivaji.
On Saturday, Sivaji told reporters in Vijayawada that he had received specific information about a constitutional body serving notice on Chandrababu Naidu which would push the state into a crisis situation.
“The state has suffered a lot due to bifurcation. A strong leadership is providing some direction to the state. Now destabilizing the state will further affect the future of its people,” Sivaji said without naming the national party.
He further said that the arrest of Naidu would be inevitable even if took a few more days.
He said it was not a blind prediction but he had strong evidences to that effect, as provided some leaders in the national party.
“If the same kind of conspiracy is hatched against opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy, I would have reacted in the same way,” he said refuting allegations that he was tutored by the TDP.
He alleged that a national party which has been implementing “Operation Garuda” to usurp power in AP will be taking a final step to dethrone Naidu.
He predicted in the past that there would be an attack on a young leader who was on padayatra in the state to create a law and order issue.
The events would lead to large scale unrest in the state and in September Nara Chandrababu Naidu led government will be dissolved.
Jagan Shocks Mekapati
YS Jagan has given a shock Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy as he sacked Mekapati’s close aide from a key post in the party. This is seen as a step to obstruct Mekapati’s rise in the district’s politics. Since the move comes soon after Anam Ramanarayan Reddy’s entry, this is seen as a strategic move to put a check to Mekapati’s team.
Going into details, Jagan booted the Gudur party incharge Meriga Muralidhar by cutting down his responsibilities. Murali, who had met Jagan in Lotus Pond, said to have received Jagan’s anger.On the other hand, reports are rife that ZP Chairman Bommireddy Raghavendra Reddy, who has been working hard for the party for the last 2 years and has been working as party-incharge for Venkatagiri, may also be shown the door.
Anam Ramanarayana Reddy may be asked to take over the Venkatagiri. This decision is expected to take on 11th Sep in Vizag where YCP planned a crucial meet of all the 175 party incharges.
Since Bommireddy is also close to Mekapati, the senior leader is sulking over the rise of his opponents in the district. With a shock-after-shock, Mekapati is said to be upset with Jagan. This indicates that all is not well within YCP in Nellore district.
Vennela Kishore as Pranic Healer
Of late, Vennela Kishore is ruling the roost at the Box Office. Even in his recent outing Geetha Govindam, Kishore has tickled the funny bones with his show.
Now, the latest we hear is that writer-director Maruthi said to have penned a hilarious episode for Kishore in his forthcoming film Shailaja Reddy Alludu. Kishore will be seen as a Pranic Healer in the film. Scenes involving Kishore would be highlight of the film, say sources close to the film’s unit.
Apparently, director Maruthi got inspired from the true incidents. In recent times, Pranic Healing got the heads turned when some of the news channels aired shows with the pranic healers which invited the wrath of the rationalists.
Taking the premise, Maruthi said to have weaved a nice concept around it and roped in Kishore to add more fun to the scenes. The film also has good scenes involving Naga Chaitanya, Anu Emmanuel and Ramya Krishna as the ‘ego’ comes in between them.
Apart from entertainment and serious conflict, Gopi Sundar’s soothing music and rich visuals are expected to be the highlights of the film. After delayed due to Kerala floods, finally, Sailaja Reddy Alludu is hitting the screens on Sep 13 on the eve of Vinayaka Chavithi. Let’s wait and see. And of course, one has to see how far Kishore’s lucky tag favours the film.
NRIs among 15 indicted in US call centre scam
Washington: Fifteen people, including some of Indian-origin, and five India-based call centres have been indicted in a multi-million call centre scam that victimized thousands of people in the US.Seven people were arrested on Thursday in the US for their alleged involvement in the scam that victimized over 2,000 people, resulting in over $5.5 million in losses, the US Justice Department said in a press release on Friday.Seven defendants and five call centres in India were also charged for their alleged involvement, officials said.
Mohamed Kazim Momin, Palak Kumar Patel, Mohammed Sozab Momin, Devin Bradford Pope, Nicholas Alezander Deane, Drue Kyle Riggins and Jantz Parrish Miller were arraigned before US Magistrate Judge Janet F. King.”Internal Revenue Service (federal tax agency) and payday loan phone schemes seek to profit by exploiting US citizens, including the most vulnerable members of our community,” said US Attorney Byung J. Pak. “This indictment and yesterday’s arrests demonstrate our commitment to identifying and prosecuting those who hide behind these types of phone scams.”
“This indictment makes clear that the IRS impersonation scam has risen to a new level, with indictments against five call centres and seven co-conspirators in India who allegedly directed their employees to participate in the scam,” said J. Russell George, Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration. The indictment alleged that the defendants were involved in a “sophisticated scheme organized by co-conspirators in India, including a network of call centres in Ahmedabad”.
Using information obtained from data brokers and other sources, the accused allegedly called potential victims while impersonating officials from the IRS or individuals offering fictitious payday loans. The accused would then threaten potential victims with arrest, imprisonment, or fines if they did not pay taxes or penalties to the government. If the victims agreed to pay, the Indian call centres allegedly would immediately turn to a network of US-based co-conspirators to liquidate and launder the extorted funds by purchasing prepaid debit cards or through wire transfers, to the attention of fictitious names and US-based defendants and their co-conspirators.
The five India-based call centres that were indicted were Excellent Solutions BPO, ADN Infotech Pvt. Ltd, Infoace BPO Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Adore Infosource, Inc. and Zurik BPO Services Pvt. Ltd.The other indicted people were Shylesh Kumar Sharma, Dilipkumar Kodwini, Radhishraj Natarajan, Shubham Sharma, Nirav Janakbhai Panchal, Athar Parvez Mansuri, Mohmmad Samir Memon and Rodrigo Leon-Castillo.
What is Tamannaah upto now?
Tamannaah has been in Telugu film industry since a long time as competition has been increasing in this field, she did not have any releases immediately after Baahubali 2. Almost after two years, she got a release with Naa Nuvve and that too was a disaster at the box office.

Tamil director Sundar C is, was in search of a heroine for his next film with Vishal. Finally, the director had roped in Tamannaah for this yet-to-be-titled project. Once the remake of Attarintiki Daredi is wrapped up, Sundar will take up the new project.
Even Tamannaah has confirmed that she has signed for the project. The diva also has Seenu Ramasamy’s Kanne Kalaimane up for release in Tamil and in Telugu, she is part of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, F2-Fun and Frustration, remake of Queen and an untitled film with Sundeep Kishan, which is directed by Kunal Kohli.
For Tamannaah to join Sundar’s project, Vishal has to finish Ayogya, a remake of Telugu film Temper, which has Jr NTR in lead role. The remake is directed by newcomer Venkat Mohan. Vishal will also be seen in Bogan fame Lakshman’s next.

The combination of Allari Naresh and Sunil is bringing decent returns at box office.Silly Fellows is off to decent start in single screens while Care of Kancharapalem took better openings across multiplexes.Other releases like Manu and Premaku Raincheck couldn’t make much impact.
The casting, packaging and promotions of Silly Fellows clearly aimed at the masses and as expected it has got decent openings in B and C centers.Geetha Govindam is still running on shares across Telugu states. It is holding its ground in spite of entering fourth week. It is likely to be on top until Sailajareddy Alludu arrives.
Bollywood horror comedy Sthree has been a smash hit and Hollywood horror The Nun also has opened on a solid note.Last week’s releases Nartanashala and Paper Boy ended up as huge loss ventures for their makers and buyers.
Samantha Going All Out For ‘U Turn’
Actress Samantha is leaving no stone unturned for her latest movie ‘U Turn.’ She is currently busy with the promotions and is taking utmost care of them.
‘U Turn’ is basically the remake of Kannada movie with the same title. Samantha’s ‘U Turn’ is simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu languages and both the versions are releasing on September 13th.Also Samantha went a step ahead and did a promotional video for the first time in her career. This song called the ‘The Karma Theme’ got over nine million views while the trailer too received a similar response from the audience.
‘U Turn’ is written and directed by Pawan Kumar, who is also the director of the original version. It’s a mystery thriller and features Aadhi Pinisetty, Rahul Ravindran and Bhumika Chawla in key roles.
Verdict: TRS public meeting a waste of money!
The so-called “unprecedented” public meeting in the name of Pragati Nivedana Sabha conducted by the TRS at Kongara Kalan village on the outskirts of Hyderabad is a big waste of money, majority of the netizens who took part in the online poll conducted by Greatandhra.com early this week felt.Asked how they had felt about the Kongara Kalan public meeting, as many as 4,382 out of the 8,779 people who took part in the online voting, accounting for 49.91 per cent of the total respondents, said it was a sheer waste of money.
Apparently, they are of the view that TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao could have conveyed his message quite effectively to the people through forms of publicity.The speech of KCR was routine and boring, unlike his previous speeches. He did not even present his government’s progress report properly and only said the progress was there before everybody to see and experience. The party just distributed pamphlets at the meeting.
On the other hand, as many as 1,654 respondents, accounting for 18.84 per cent felt that the meeting was a big success, while 1,458 people (16.61 per cent) said that the meeting was far below the expectations.Though the TRS claimed that more than 25 lakh people would turn up at the public meeting, it was around one-fourth of it at the end of the day.Only 1,285 people accounting for 14.64 per cent of the respondents said the meeting was a big failure.
Obviously, they were of the view that the purpose of the meeting was not served even after spending over Rs 300 crore.

TRS Fielding Dummies In BJP Seats?
While releasing the list of 105 candidates of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi within an hour of dissolving the state assembly, TRS chief and caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao told media persons that his party would continue to be friendly with the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM).He declared that the TRS would have friendly contest with the MIM in its constituencies, indicating that the party would field only dummy candidates in such constituencies so as to help the MIM win those seats.
However, reliable sources said the TRS chief has a different plan in his mind. Though he did not announce it openly, it was evident from the list that his party is going to field dummy candidates in the constituencies of the BJP, so that it would retain all the five seats, if not more.This is evident from the way KCR has given ticket to Bethi Subhash Reddy, a relatively unknown candidate in Uppal, against BJP candidate N V S S Prabhakar.
Subhash Reddy lost the elections against Prabhakar in 2014. In fact, Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Rammohan has been aspiring for the seat and has been nurturing the constituency in the last four years.Similarly, KCR did not announce candidates in Amberpet, Goshamahal, Khairatabad and Musheerabad represented by the BJP, though there is an intense competition for those seats.He is said to be planning to field weak candidates in those seats, so that the BJP can win those seats easily.
For example, he did not consider Danam Nagender for Khairatabad, as he would give tough contest to Chintala Ramachandra Reddy of BJP. So is the case with Amberpet represented by Kishan Reddy. There are serious contenders like Krishna Yadav for the seat, but KCR did not consider them.“In fact, he is planning to field tough Muslim candidates in the MIM constituencies, so as to split the Muslim votes so that the BJP can win two or three seats more,” a source said.
It is learnt an understanding to this effect was reached when the BJP MLAs met KCR at Pragati Bhavan a few days ago in the name of asking for a statue of Vajpayee in the city. “Everything is going on the directions of the BJP high command,” the source added.

He will be pairing with Praneetha for the first time and it is yet to be known how their screen space would look like.Meanwhile, the shooting is happening at brisk pace and the latest and exclusive report is that the makers are planning to release the teaser of the film on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi.
On the other hand, as there are two heroines, the director and the producer are planning to release two teasers, featuring Anupama and Praneetha individually.
But at a point, they are confused as releasing two teasers might almost reveal the crux of the storyline. So, there are chances that only one teaser might be released.
Trinadha Rao Nakkina is known for films like Nenu Local, Cinema Chupistha Maava and others which slowly brought him into the track of films. Among the handful he has directed, Nenu Local brought him into some limelight.
