Mega Worries For Tarak’s Aravinda Sametha!
As Aravinda Sametha races against time to meet the deadline of hitting the screens on October 11, director Trivikram has been reportedly worrying about Naga Babu’s health issues. It is known news that Nagababu is playing Tarak’s father character in the action drama. It is said to be a powerful role, which is one of the key factors in the film.
Trivikram is a director who pens all the characters according to the image and acting style of the actors. Nagababu’s towering physique and stern voice are believed to be the reasons for roping him for hero’s father role in Aravinda Sametha. But Nagababu who has been suffering with throat infection from a long time hasn’t recovered yet. He had to take the help of a dubbing artist in the recently released Geetha Govindam too.
The voice didn’t suit him but it has been overlooked as he had a limited role to play in it. Trivikram is hoping that Mega brother would recover by the time of dubbing of Aravinda Sametha. The team is worried that impact of the key scenes would be lost if they use a dubbing artist. Nagababu also is trying his best to recover soon as it is a career defining role for him.
KCR Paralysed All Institutions, Says Cong
The Telangana Congress party has accused the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government led by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of misusing public institutions and government machinery to launch election campaign for the TRS in the name of Pragati Nivedana Sabha (Meeting for presenting progress report).
New roads are being laid by the GHMC authorities, new electrical lines are being laid by the Electricity department, levelling of the land is being done by the local bodies and all public transport is being used to serve the TRS for the public meeting to be held at Kongara Kalan on September 2.
“Hundreds of crores of rupees are being spent on war footing to make arrangements for KCR’s public meeting,” Telangana PCC president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy said.He also alleged that all democratic institutions in Telangana had been paralysed by the TRS government.“Legislature is not functioning properly; media is either being intimidated or lured and prevented from reporting the truth. I can’t speaking anything about judiciary and how executive is functioning is quite visible,” he said.
He appealed all the people to feel their responsibility and raise voice to protect democracy in Telangana State.
PK Team Entrusted With Poaching Task?
YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who has been completely depending on the team of his advisor and political strategist Prashant Kishor for working out election strategies, is understood to have entrusted it with the task of poaching important leaders from other parties into the YSRC.As the elections are fast approaching, weakening the ruling Telugu Desam Party is one of the many strategies the YSRC has to adopt to win the elections.
The party is said to be identifying potential leaders in the TDP and lure them into the YSRC at crucial juncture. These are the leaders who have bleak chances of getting the TDP ticket in the next elections.There have been reports of late that TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu might deny party tickets to at least 40-45 sitting MLAs and replace them with new faces.“Naturally, these leaders will revolt against the TDP and cause considerable damage to its prospects in the next elections by contesting as rebel candidates. We have to lure them into our party. Though we may not be able to give tickets to all of them, we can make use of them to damage the TDP by offering them money and other positions,” a party leader said.
As part of the strategy, the PK team is learnt to have contacted Chirala MLA Amanchi Krishnamohan to bring him into the YSRC. Amanchi himself declared that the PK team members had met him twice.Apparently, they reportedly told him that he might not get the TDP ticket again, but the YSRC was ready to give him the ticket, because Amachi has his own strength in the constituency.However, Amanchi says he has not entertained the PK team members, who wanted to test his mind and cash in on his popularity.
Similar attempts are said to be underway to lure the potential TDP leaders into the YSRC.
Who Is Reporting Collections To Aadhi Pinishetty?
Versatile actor Aadhi Pinishetty took digs at film reviews at the ‘success meet’ of his latest film Neevevaro.The mystery thriller has been panned by critics and turned down by ticket paying public alike, which is evident from its disastrous first weekend collection report.Aadhi like many actors and filmmakers has put the blame on reviews for poor reports that the film has generated from its early shows. He stated that the film opened on a dull note because of Varalakshmi Vratam.
“People were busy with puja, which is why the film got below par openings,” he stated.Aadhi also went on to add that the collections have improved later and expressed his happiness as their hard work has been rewarded.What Aadhi has conveniently ignored is that a slight rise in collections on Saturday and Sunday doesn’t mean that the film has been accepted.
In fact, there isn’t much growth in the collections during the weekend as the film struggled to get noticed amid Geetha Govindam storm.Aadhi should have waited until Monday morning to gauge the film’s box office range before passing such statements.Neevevaro is having a dismal first Monday at the box office that makes the public verdict very clear. This wouldn’t be the scenario if ninety percent of entertainment loving audience liked the film, as he claimed.
Babu wants Stalin to become CM
Telugu actor Mohan Babu on Sunday attended the condolence meeting of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister late Karunanidhi, who served as chief of DMK party for five decades. MK Stalin, who is now serving as working president of DMK, has set up this meeting at Coimbatore in memory of his late father.
Actor Mohan Babu, who was also invited to this event, thanked Stalin for extending the invitation to him and wished to see him as the Chief Minister soon. “Thank q my brother @mkstalin for inviting me for the condolence meeting in Coimbatore for your great legendary father. I wish you all the best and hope to see you as the Chief Minister.” tweeted Collection King Mohan Babu by sharing a handshake moment with MK Stalin.This is definitely a shocking statement from Mohan Babu, considering that his dear friend and co-actor Rajinikanth is expected to fight the next election in Tamil Nadu.

No Regrets Hosting Bigg Boss, Says Nani
Nani has universal following as an actor. He has many fans and is also liked by the fans of all actors. He chose to host the super hit reality show Bigg Boss when he is at the peak of his career.Eyebrows were raised when Nani was announced as the host for second season. Despite a few hiccups, Nani has done a fairly neat job as the host until now.
However, Nani has received backlash from fans of the housemates. Why EC Not Keen On Early Polls In Telangana?
Though the Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders are extremely optimistic of holding early elections to the state assembly, reports from New Delhi have indicated that the Election Commission of India is not very keen on advancing the elections in Telangana.The Election Commission authorities reportedly fired at Telangana state government advisor and former chief secretary Rajiv Sharma who put forth the proposal of early polls in Telangana a couple of days ago.
“How can you expect us to go with the early elections when the voters’ list has not been revised till date? The deadline for the revision is January 31 and if elections are to be held earlier, you have to go with the old list and that would deprive a large number of new eligible voters of their right to franchise,” the authorities told Sharma.Another reason for their objection is that when Telangana had the assembly elections co-terminus with the general election where actually the need was to go with the early polls.
“It was Telangana which has supported the simultaneous polls for Lok Sabha and assembly. Why is it going back now?” the EC asked.Thirdly, the general elections are due in April and if Telangana has to go assembly elections in December, arrangements for general elections have to be made again within three-four months.
“The movement of EVMs, other material and deployment of security forces again would be a big problem and would involve additional expenditure,” the EC authorities told the state officials.It was only after EC put its foot down, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao rushed to Delhi to explain to Prime Minister Narendra Modi the rationale behind his decision.
It is not exactly known what is there in the mind of the Prime Minister, sources said.
