Yet, he is close to a big family in the industry and is also friend of Superstar. He often plays with Superstar’s kids so much. Given his track record, no one in the industry dares to do films with film. But all have been good and nice to him. He is regular at the parties, birthday bashes and usual hangouts of heroes, directors.

And industry people also are seeing him more like a friend than a director. Apart from one or two commercials, he hasn’t directed a feature film in longtime. Now, this director is said to be claiming that he is in plans to direct Allu Arjun. This is what leaves everyone in shock.He is apparently telling his aides and folks that he would direct Allu Arjun and he said Bunny is also keen to do with him provided impressive story, treatment.

Now this has become laughing stock in industry circuits. No doubt, he might be close to a big family and also very close to Superstar, but profession is different from personal relations. Before expecting stars to give him one more chance, he should rather prove himself by doing some popular web-series or do a movie with newcomers and score a hit and then dream about directing Bunny, say industry folks.

Before Arjun Reddy, when the makers of Geetha Govindam were approaching heroines opposite Vijay Deverakonda, most of the top and happening heroines in the film industry have single answer : Who will work opposite Vijay Deverakonda?While a heroine who just worked with a big star then had demanded 1 Crore from the makers, another top heroine who is now mostly not seen much has cited dates issue.

Even the likes of Ritu Varma who have worked opposite Vijay in Pelli Choopulu couldn’t take up Geetha Govindam since she has bulk dates for her Tamil film with Gautham Menon and as per the contract, she couldn’t sign any other film in between.

And several young heroines too have their own reasons to drop out of the project. Strangely, a few heroines have liked the story narrated by Parasuram, but suggested him to do the film with Varun Tej (who had just scored Fidaa in July 2017) or any other hero from a big family. Taken aback with such suggestions, director Parasuram continued his search for the female lead.

Finally, it landed into the lap of Rashmika Mandanna. And the rest is history. Arjun Reddy became a rage subsequently. And Rashmika’s Tollywood debut opposite Naga Shaurya Chalo became a sleeper hit. The hit combo with Parasuram worked brilliantly and brought huge moolah to producers Bunny Vas, Allu Aravind and also the distributors who have bought the film’s rights.

Handling a film of Rs. 200 crore budget is not an easy task especially if the director has no previous experience of handling high budget epic movies. Despite being aware of Surender Reddy’s inexperience at handling a magnum opus, Ram Charan handed over him the responsibility of directing Sye Raa.

Everyone including Chiranjeevi was skeptical about the choice of Charan, but being the producer the Dhruva hero had immense confidence in his director. Sye Raa was supposed to be wrapped up by December but it is running behind schedule as of now. Only fifty percent of the filming part is done up to this point.

Surender is under immense pressure because of the magnanimity of the project and the costs involved. Ram Charan wants Surender to give his hundred percent without thinking much about the budget and delay issues. Charan stated to the media that he is not looking for profits and is also okay if there are any losses. “I want this film to be a memorable one for my dad. Success will be a bonus only,” he said.

Charan also is not putting pressure on Surender to meet any deadlines regarding the release. “It may take eight months or ten months to complete. As of now we don’t know when it will hit the theaters,” Charan said. Surender must consider himself lucky for having a producer like Ram Charan who is not bothered much about the time and money. All he wants is a good film that would be remembered for a long time.

This time Prakash Raj reportedly had an altercation with cinematographer Vijay K Chakravarthy on Hello Guru Prema Kosame sets.Prakash Raj told the cinematographer to shoot the close shot first and later finish it with a dupe in the wide shot. Vijay K Chakravarthy said that is not possible as he fixed the wide shot already.

When he refused to change it to close shot, Prakash Raj had a heated argument with him for several minutes it seems.It is surprising that such fights are happening on the sets of a movie produced by top producer Dil Raju.Hello Guru Prema Kosame starring Ram is directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina. It is set to release in October.

Rajasekhar will be seen in a very different avatar in this film tentatively titled Kalki.

As per unconfirmed reports, Kalki has been finalized as the title for this film bankrolled by Dr. Rajasekhar himself.Pre look of the film was launched on Wednesday and the title will be announced on Aug 26th.
