Jana Sena Party chief and power star Pawan Kalyan has once again proved that he does not have patience to spend lengthy period among the people.Like all film stars who prefer to move into caravan to take periodical breaks during the shooting hours, Pawan, too, looks for regular breaks during his tours to get relief and rejuvenate himself from the stress of addressing public meetings.

On Tuesday, Jana Sena Party’s political affairs committee convenor Madasu Gangadharam announced that Pawan Kalyan has postponed his next round of tour in West Godavari district scheduled to start from August 23.He is supposed to visit Jangareddigudem, Polavaram and Chintalapudi as part of the Praja Porata Yatra.However, Pawan got the right excuse to postpone his tour – heavy rains and floods in the areas.

“Since the villages are reeling under floods and people are suffering, Pawan decided to not to cause any inconvenience for them and hence, decided to postpone his tour. The rescheduled tour details will be communicated later,” Gangadharam said.The inconvenience is for Pawan and not to the people. If Pawan is so concerned about the flood-affected people, he should forget his celebrity status, step into the flood waters, participate in the relief operations and console the victims. That would have fetched a lot of mileage for him in the next elections as well.

But, Pawan is yet to come out of his celebrity aura. He cannot go directly into the people and needs security all around. He does not want to face any inconvenience.How can a person who wants to become the chief minister of the state expect the people to vote for him, if he keeps away from the ground realities?This is not the first time that Pawan has postponed his tours on one pretext or the other. He doesn’t have the patience to be amidst the people and understand their issues. So, very frequently, he has been taking a break from his hectic political schedule and goes into relaxing mood.

During his tour in north-coastal districts, the Jana Sena Party chief took at least four breaks for various reasons.After finishing Visakhapatnam, he was supposed to enter East Godavari, but dropped the plan as his schedule does not clash with the padayatra of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.He announced that he would resume the yatra in West Godavari district from July 16. But later, it was postponed to July 20.

On Tuesday, his party leaders in Hyderabad announced that Pawan has further postponed his yatra in West Godavari district because of heavy rains in the area.

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who tried to gain massive publicity for the so-called oversubscription of “Amaravati Bonds” floated by Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) for raising funds for the construction of new capital of Amaravati, is now on the defensive.Despite the wide spread publicity through press conferences by Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh and his ministers, besides the social media campaign by his supporters, there was a huge backlash from the opposition parties and also common people.

While the opposition YSR Congress party expressed apprehension that Naidu was pushing the state into a debt trap with his fancy ideas, people with business knowledge wonder what was so great about getting good response to the public bonds.In fact, YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy suspected that the entire exercise of floating bonds was a shady exercise.“The publicity on oversubscription of Amaravati bonds is a farce as the rate of interest, need and terms of the issue have been shady and questionable,” he said.

An economic expert wonders how the bonds that were issued with a huge interest rate of 10.75 per cent on quarterly basis would be beneficial to the state.“The state should have tried all the other means of raising funds before going in for public borrowing at such a massive interest,” he said.With the publicity plan backfiring, the Naidu government is now trying to put up a weak defence.

State planning board vice-chairman C Kutumba Rao sought to blame it on the centre for the state government compelling to go in for public borrowing.“We have no other way to mobilise r funds with the central government washing its hands off by giving just Rs 1500 crore and the the World Bank delaying sanction of loans due to letters by YSRCP,” he said.

Osisha CM Naveen Patnaik has shared the sixth place with Telangana CM KCR with 4 percent in favour of them. Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy and Assam’s Sarbananda Sonowal have taken the next place (7th) with mere 3 percent. Goa CM Manohar Parikkar, Punjab CM Amarinder Singh, Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani and Haryana’s Manohar Lal Khattar together stood in 8th place with 2 percent.

It said the results are subjected to the voters perception across the country. As Mamata is pitched as the next PM candidate of Opposition to take on mighty Modi, this rank is expected to come in handy for the Opposition parties. With 38 MPs for her party TMC, Mamta is already showing her domination.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has yet again unleashed an all-round attack on Chandrababu Naidu. In his fresh attack, Jagan rebuked Naidu of having 5 ‘political’ marriages. He alleged that Naidu had married BJP and divorced it. And accused him of now getting ready to marry Congress that divided the state unilaterally. He even pointed at CBN’s previous political alliances with CPI, CPM and TRS and described them of his ‘old’ marriages. Jagan accused Chandrababu Naidu of using BJP for his needs for 4 years and discontinued the marriage ahead of the elections.

Indicating at Nara Brahmin’s recent interaction with Rahul Gandhi as part of Gandhi’s Meet with the Business Persons, Entrepreneurs in Hyderabad recently, Jagan alleged Chandrababu Naidu of arranging the Rahul Gandhi’s meeting with his family members for the political talks. He even found fault with TDP for voting to Congress candidate in the Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman election.

Jagan didn’t stop there. He went onto accuse Naidu of looting the state and splurging people money. Jagan alleged that Chandrababu has splurged Rs 6000 Crore public money in the last four years and said that had that money has been spent for Polavaram Irrigation Project, he said the water would have come by now. He said Chandrababu is full of lies, corruption, injustice. He further accused him of spending public exchequer lavishly and pushing the state into debts. Jagan found fault with Amaravati’s bonds where state government is raising Rs 2000 Crore through the bonds for the development of the Capital Amaravati.
