When megastar Chiranjeevi hit a pause in his career, many directors tried to make films with him. Puri Jagannadh, Boyapati, Trivikram… and many others tried their luck to tempt him into doing his comeback film with them.Meanwhile, his comeback film happened. That apart, Chiranjeevi had said yes to a film with Surender Reddy who shot to fame with Race Gurram and Dhruva.Now, if Chiranjeevi himself says yes, it is good news for many top directors. However, Surender Reddy took his own time to confirm the film, reveals the film’s producer and Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan.

“That was a time when Surender Reddy was looking out for different stories. So, I had asked him to meet Paruchuri Brothers. He met them and immediately liked the story.However, despite it being a film with Chiranjeevi and me asking him personally, he did not say yes immediately. He took his own time as Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is not just a film, it is a huge responsibility,” shares Ram Charan.Though he asked him in the US, Surender Reddy returned to India and took a good one week before giving his final nod, says Charan adding that Surender Reddy had impressed his dad in one sitting.

“I had never seen dad saying yes to a story in one sitting. After hearing the story from Paruchuri Brothers, Surender Reddy got dad interested in just one sitting. So, a story that was in the waiting to be made for 12 years, finally began happening,” reveals Charan.He further added that the climax song of the film was also finalised recently. Incidentally, the song composed by Amit Trivedi was also okayed by his dad in single sitting, says Charan.

However, despite all this, Charan refrained from talking about the film’s budget. He simply concluded by saying that he was making a film that would remain in the hearts of mega fans and Telugu film fans for a long time.The teaser is already out and Ram Charan surely seems to have splurged on his dad’s film, while Surender Reddy decidedly seems to be making a period film that will be talked about for a while.

Sye Raa is being readied for a huge release during the summer of 2019.

‘Geetha Govindam’ is already creating mayhem at box-office. It has now got huge advantage. The film will not have any major competition for another two weeks as Naga Chaitanya’s movie has been postponed.This weekend Aadhi Pinishetty starrer “Neevevaro” and Rashmika starrer “Anthaku Minchi” are releasing but they are not considered a threat to Vijay Deverakonda’s entertainer.

The only film that will give good competition to “Geetha Govindam” is Naga Shaurya’s “@Narthanashala” which will be releasing on August 30.Now that “Shailaja Reddy Alludu” got postponed, Vijay Deverakonda will happily compete with one film. So, his film has got huge advantage to mint more money at the box-office.

It has now every chance to touch Rs 50 Cr mark worldwide.

Sailaja Reddy Alludu postponement news isn’t official yet but it is almost confirmed. Makers are planning to release it on Sep 13th as of now.Meanwhile, they will be reshooting a few portions that are not up to the their satisfaction.If the buzz from film circles is to be believed, Chaitanya’s wife Samatha had seen the rough cut of the movie recently and opined that a few scenes could have been better.

She has reportedly felt that certain scenes on Vennela Kishore are not up to the mark. So the makers decided to reshoot those scenes as per Sam’s suggestions.Vennela Kishore’s comedy sequence in Geetha Govindam turned out to be one of the key factors of that film’s grand success.Taking a cue from it, Sailaja Reddy Alludu also is making betterments to Vennela Kishore’s scenes. The star comedian is currently not available as he went abroad for a shooting.

Producers of SRA are making efforts to bring him back to Hyderabad as soon as possible and make the desired changes to the film.
