In what can be called as a rare incident in South Korea, a wealthy woman decided to toss her south korean currency worth 15.8 million (approximately INR 9 lakh) on the roads of Daegu city. In a viral video, she was seen throwing her cash from moving car in 11 different areas. The people in city reported incident to police and gave back the money to police because it was crime to collect money found on roads.

Though the wealthy woman remained mum about this charity, her mother offered an explanation. She spoke on her daughter’s interest to give money to needy people. The Korean police authorities, who found woman’s mother based on the number plate of the car, declared that they would give back money to them if they claim it.

A couple of days ago, as part of Telangana government’s ambitious Haritha Haram program, TRS party’s Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha challenged star director Rajamouli. Kavitha challenged Rajamouli to plant a sapling and spread the word for a greener and better world.

Rajamouli accepted Kavitha’s challenge and took to Twitter to post of photograph of him planting a sapling while his pet dog watches on. The Baahubali maker said that he planted banyan, gulmohar and neem samplings in what seems to be a vast farmland at an undisclosed location.

Not stopping there, Rajamouli then challenged Indian Badminton champion Pullela Gopichand, TRS Minister KTR and young directors Sandeep Reddy Vanga (Arjun Reddy) and Nag Ashwin (Mahanati) to take up the Haritha haram challenge. Kavitha immediately acknowledged Rajamouli’s gesture with a “Thank you”.

Looks like Bigg Boss is on a mission to bring Tejaswi back into the house. They have announced a poll to get one of the evicted contestants back in the show right after Tejaswi was evicted.

The voting should have been transparent so the people’s choice would’ve won the poll. But here comes a ‘glitch’ to give an edge to Tejaswi over other evicted contestants.

Voting lines were opened at 11PM on Monday and Bigg Boss uploaded last week’s nominations for Google votes instead of the latest list.

Meaning, none of the other evicted contestants names were present in the poll except for Tejaswi in that list. This ‘glitch’ was not corrected for forty five minutes. 45 mins means 75% of Monday votes on Google.

If it really was a technical glitch, then they shouldn’t have considered the votes until the error was rectified, but submitted votes were taken into consideration until that point.

So Tejaswi had an unassailable lead on Monday because of this ‘technical glitch’. Many fans and followers have addressed the issue right away to StarMaa through social media, but they took their own sweet time to correct the so called ‘error’.

A glitch like this is humanly impossible unless it is deliberate, opine many on the social media. Is this really a glitch or the best possible route for Tejaswi’s reentry? Is what people ask.

Whatever the reason be, the reputation of the show, its host’s Nani’s public image and good will are at stake now.

July 24th, 1998. That was exactly 20 years ago on this day. A film got released in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh only to make movie lovers go crazy about it and its hero. A director who found a picture of a guy on a cinema-magazine has cast him in the lead role in his debut film, without expecting that he will grow as a Powerful man of Telugu cinema.

Today it marks two decades of “Tholi Prema”, a film that won hearts, box office and awards as well. Back then, no one expected that Kalyan Babu will become Pawan Kalyan, and Pawan Kalyan will become “Powerstar”. But it happened. His looks are impressive, his acting style is unique, his mannerisms resemble boy next door. More than anything, his previous three films made him sound like he is the brother of Megastar Chiranjeevi, but this made him a Powerstar for audiences.

Cut to the film, Tholi Prema was written and directed by Karunakaran, a director who is regarded as a master craftsman of love stories. The film has beautiful Keerthi Reddy as the heroine, who has given up her career pretty shortly. Soulful music scored by Deva, simple joys, comedy and the Taj Mahal set in one particular song still give a special feeling about this movie. That said, Tholi Prema won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu, Nandi Award for Best Screenplay Writer and Nandi Award for Best First Film of a Director.

While Keerthi Reddy who played Anu shouts “Balu” (Pawan) in the climax to confess her love, from that day to date audiences are calling Powerstar to confess their love to this superstar. However, when fans are expecting to have that deja vu moment, Pawan Kalyan slipped into full-time politics, leaving his silver screen character.

Mega daughter Niharika Konidela is said to be quite friendly with people on the sets. She said to have bonded well with the people around her during the shoot of Happy Wedding. A video was shot on mobile when she was serving food to an assistant director on the sets of the film and this video is now widely shared by the mega fans.

Although Niharika performed well in her debut feature film Oka Manasu, the film was a disappointment at the Box Office. Naturally, the mega fans are keeping their fingers crossed over her next film that hits the screens this week.

The team of “Geetha Govindam” that planned to release its teaser on Sunday had postponed it to Monday just to not compete with Dil Raju’s production.
