Tej’s Market Takes A Huge Hit !
Sai Dharam Tej, who won the appreciation of mega fans with his initial films, is currently struggling to reclaim his lost market.
He is yet to come out of the flop streak that has been giving him nightmares post Supreme. A series of disastrous decisions made him lose his market everywhere.
Tej’s last two films Intelligent and Tej I Love You ended up as huge disasters at box office despite having famous directors at the helm.
Intelligent turned out to be one of the biggest disasters of all time and Tej I Love You will end up below Intelligent in terms of box office returns.
Tej is trying hard to find a way to come out of the failure streak, but he couldn’t make wise judgments with his scripts.
His next film is finalized with Nenu Sailaja director Kishore Tirumala. Tentatively titled Chitralahari, the film is a family drama based on father-son sentiment.

Political Buzz: Eenadu To Stay Neutral?
The power of Ramoji Rao is evident from the fact that Amit Shah called on him personally during his visit to Hyderabad and discussed the political scenario.
With Chandrababu Naidu going hammer and tongs at the BJP with his army of media houses, Amit Shah apparently tried to bolster the BJP with the help of Ramoji Rao.
If there is any single individual who has stood as the backbone for the TDP and facilitated its rise over the years, it is Ramoji Rao. But, the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh has changed the dynamics completely between Naidu and Ramoji.
While Ramoji is extending generous support to KCR and the NDA and refraining from any scathing criticism of the Centre over the special category issue, Chandrababu is of the opinion that Ramoji no longer counts him among his priorities as the latter’s interests are hugely concentrated in Hyderabad.
Realising this, Naidu and Lokesh were seriously considering starting their own Telugu daily and news channel post-bifurcation.
If Eenadu also starts criticising the BJP over the SCS, it will be a fatal blow to the saffron party in Andhra.
But given Ramoji’s excellent relations with the BJP, Eenadu in all likelihood will stay neutral and confine itself to merely reporting instead of influencing the minds of the readers.
Former cricketer eyes Secunderabad LS seat
Former cricketer and Congress leader Mohammed Azharuddin on Sunday said he is keen to contest the Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat in 2019.
Though the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee wants him to contest from Hyderabad, to give a tough fight to the MIM in the Old City, and has made a request to the Congress high command in this regard, Mr Azharuddin is not keen on the Hyderabad seat.
He has contested Lok Sabha elections twice, from Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, on a Congress ticket.
He won from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh in 2009, but lost from Tonk-Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan in 2014.
H-1B Requests Can Now Be Rejected Outright
The Trump administration has empowered officials to outright reject visa applications under certain circumstances. This step can be taken if the required ‘initial evidence’ wasn’t submitted or it failed to establish eligibility for the visa sought.
The revised policy will apply to all applications and requests received by the authorities from September 11 onwards.
In other words, the visa applicants, that include companies sponsoring H-1B employees, are less likely to get a second chance to submit more documentary evidence or provide explanations that would substantiate eligibility for the visa.
In some cases, outright denial of the application, say for the extension of an H-1B visa, could even place the employee at the risk of deportation.
United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has issued this revised policy on July 13.
“It has rescinded an earlier policy that restricted official’s ability to deny a case without first giving the applicant an opportunity to provide more evidence to prove the case. While the revised policy instructs officials to deny the application, without a Request for Evidence (RFE), only if the case lacks sufficient ‘initial evidence’, it is not yet clear how this term will be interpreted,” states Fragomen, a global firm specialising in immigration laws.
Under the earlier policy, US officials processing visa applications were required to issue RFEs in all cases, unless there was no possibility that the additional document or information could rectify the issue.
USCIS attributes the revision as a measure to curb frivolous filings. Immigration experts believe that the revised policy gives subjective powers to officials and could make the process cumbersome.
I can’t talk about a film if I don’t like it: Allu Arjun
Allu Arjun was the chief guest at Mega son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev’s debut film, Vijetha, success meet function. Speaking on the occasion, Bunny had some nice things to say about Kalyaan’s performance.
“I watched Vijetha before coming here. I really liked the movie. I can’t talk about a film if I don’t like it. I got connected to the father sentiment scenes as a I have a deep affection for my father,” said the Stylish Star. Bunny also appreciated the film’s music. “I liked the ‘chicken song’ and the ‘Minsare’ song. I loved Harshavardhan Rameshwar’s music, especially his background score for Arjun Reddy,” Bunny added.
Allu Arjun then heaped praises on Murli Sharma, who played father’s role. “I have been observing his work right from Athidhi. He is a wonderful actor and he is quite good in Vijetha,” he said.
Finally, Bunny was all praise for Kalyaan Dhev. “I was apprehensive about Kalyaan’s performance in emotional scenes, but I could not see Kalyaan but only the son’s character in the auto scene with the father,” said Allu Arjun.
Why Media Cheap Talk On RX100 Heroine?
People tend to be opinionated and those opinions are likely to be biased too. But opinions of folks like Journalists should not be biased and they should have a rationale. Sample this, to understand what we are talking about.
Many feel that the success of “RX100” at the box office, despite critics giving a thumbs down to it, is solely due to the lip kissing scenes and glamour show of heroine Payal Rajput. Okay, let’s keep it that way. And then, some comments made by Telugu media folks have hurt the heroine now, says a source.
Some media folks questioned her, “Why so much glamour show for just 6 lakhs payment?” and “Why lip kissing and backless treats for such low payment?”. This is surely cheap talk and it hurts. Should a heroine charge basing on the amount of glamour show she pours on? That’s a completely ridiculous thinking.
A heroine’s pay-packet depends on the craze and stardom she has, it’s not on the amount of glamour she puts on. Sometimes few heroines get paid more for slipping into a bikini, but that doesn’t mean that one should wear a bikini only if they are paid high. Take Nayantara for example, she’s paid only in lakhs when she’s in that glamour phase, but now she’s pocketing more than 2 crores for author backed roles.
In a way, this particular comment passed by few media folks is nothing but objectifying women and seeing a heroine only from glamour aspect. Come on guys, grow up!
Star Hero Buys 50 Acres Land?
Noted Star hero has bought over 50 acres land in Telangana state. The star said to have invested huge money in purchasing land that is 60 kms away from the happening place of the city.
He is planning to develop a studio, a farm house and many more in the area. It is buzzed that the star hero has come to know that the area would develop a lot in the future and invested the large sum in the far away region. He also said to have hired some locals to take care of his property.
Apparently, a popular politician of Telangana state also said have purchased huge land near by this hero’s land. This is raising several suspicions among the locals and real-estate dealers who have hiked up the prices and is said to be selling the plots with higher rates.
The rates of plots in these region have come as shocker to many given that it is far higher than its locality which has no major facilities and the rates are on par with the rates in Hyderabad that is shocking many who are expressing doubts whether it is worth in investing so much in such place.
One has to wait and see, what is in store in the future.
Jagan Will Become CM If He Joins NDA!
YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has already clarified that his party would go it alone in the next elections and will contest all the 175 assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh. As such, there is no question of any alliance with any other party.
Jagan also clarified several times categorically that his party would support only that party or alliance at the Centre which would give it in writing that it would grant special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
Yet, the Telugu Desam Party leaders have been making allegations that Jagan was hand in glove with the BJP and would join the NDA sooner or later.
Lending credence to these allegations, Union minister for social justice and empowerment Ramdas Athawale, who represents Republican Party of India in the NDA, extended an open invitation to Jagan to join the NDA.
Speaking to media in Hyderabad, Athawale said Jagan had the bright chances of becoming the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, if he joined hands with the BJP and became partner in the NDA. He went on to say that YSR Congress and the BJP combine would do well in the next elections.
“Our party will give full support to Jagan if he joins hands with the BJP,” he said.
Athawale described TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s decision to come out of the NDA as a hasty move.
“Had he continued in the NDA and brought pressure on the Centre, the state would have got the special category status to AP,” he said.
Within minutes of Athawale making the statement, Naidu told media that the Union minister had only disclosed an underhand dealing between the BJP and the YSRC.
“I am not surprised by his statement,” he said.
My answer is clear and dont ask me again – Jr NTR
Looks like Jr NTR has made his mind with the possibility of facing this question again and again for the next few months. Other day he’s busy doing the press conference to announce his arrival as the brand ambassador of a mobile store.
During the conference, a journalist has once again asked him about the ongoing #NTR biopic. As Jr NTR happens to be that star-heir of legendary NTR, naturally he’s expected to be part of that film, but somehow he didn’t get any such invite. However, Tarak is not in a mood to answer this particular question again and again.
“I thing you’re asking me this question again. My answer was given already during the IPL promotions press meet. I stick by that answer. I don’t want to give an answer again. If you didn’t get it, rewind that video and get the answer clearly” said Tarak, when asked about it.
During IPL press meet, actually he said, “Naakem pilupu raledu. Meeku teliste naaku cheppandi. Okavela naaku telistey, meeku cheppe veltanu”, when questioned about his presence in that biopic. But he has ruled out the possibility of playing his grandfather NTR on the silver screen as he thinks there is a long way to go to meet grandpa’s range.
