From a long time, Pawan Kalyan and his time are setting up their own media house like how other political parties in Andhra Pradesh are having one each. And then, some news channels have voluntarily supported him but after the barrage of tweets he has poured on media, some have withdrawn.

Later some recruitments also happened in Jubilee Hills for JTV, which will be unanimously supporting Janasena party. However this process got slowed down though many thought that it will speed up after Janasena move to their new office in Madhapur. And the latest reports we are hearing is that the investors behind this new channel are pouring their investment into another channel.

With Pawan getting close to Left parties, crowd-funded TV channel 10TV is sounding positive for the Janasena president. To consolidate that stand of the channel, now it’s heard that close aides of Pawan are getting ready to invest nearly 70+ crores in this channel.

Whether they are really investing or not, it looks like grabbing support of a TV channel is must for a politician to promote his presence.

As expected, Telugu Desam Party’s Rajya Sabha member C M Ramesh on Saturday broke his 11-day indefinite fast which he had taken up on June 20, demanding establishment of a steel factory at Kadapa.TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu offered lemon juice to Ramesh, who obliged his request and ended his fast, at the deeksha venue of Kadapa zilla parishad grounds, in the presence of thousands of his followers mobilised from all parts of the district.

Along with Ramesh, Naidu also offered lime juice to MLC B Tech Ravi, though he broke his fast four days ago.Everything went on as per the script. Naidu scheduled his visit to Kadapa for Saturday and it was expected that Ramesh would continue his fast till then.Media persons from Hyderabad and also Delhi were brought to Kadapa at huge expense to witness the high drama of Naidu requesting Ramesh to end his fast.

And Naidu did not come out with any concrete assurance on setting up of steel plant on behalf of the state government.He said the fight would continue till the Centre makes an announcement to that effect.“The state government has already made it clear that it would provide all facilities, including land, water, iron ore and power. The Mekon should immediately submit the report to the Centre so as to take a decision,” he said.

The chief minister set a deadline of two months for the Centre to start the process for steel plant at Kadapa.“We will bear 50 per cent of the cost of setting up the steel plant. If it still does not come forward, the state government itself will decide on setting up the plant on its own,” he asserted.

Power star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has been making tall claims that his party would not have any tie up with any party and would contest all the assembly and Lok Sabha seats in the next elections.So far so good. But the problem is Pawan has so far not built up his party organisation yet, let alone identifying the candidates for the next elections. He is going one step forward and two steps backwards.

His Jana Chaitanya Yatra has been facing a bumpy ride as Pawan has not been able to sustain the long yatras and is taking rest for more than a week for every 10 days or tour.Jana Sena Party spokespersons said before the commencement of Pawan Kalyan’s tour that during the yatra, he would identify party candidates for every constituency and announce their names.

He has completed tour in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts and covered half of Visakhapatnam districts, but so far, he has not announced any candidates in these two districts.What is worse, unrest is mounting among the party cadre, as Pawan is admitting all and sundry into the party, who realised they might not get the party tickets in other parties.He is not taking into consideration the views of his fans, a mistake which was committed by his brother megastar Chiranjeevi while running the Praja Rajyam Party. At several places, Jana Sainiks have been agitating before the party offices.

Interestingly, the Left parties are also slowly distancing themselves from Pawan Kalyan, ever since he declared that there would be no alliance with any party and that his party would contest the elections on its own.

June 28 will go down as another black day in the history of the Andhras for Telanganite KCR will be visiting Vijayawada and presenting a nose stud to the Mother Goddess.For what? He had vowed to present her with one if Telangana became a reality (if he became CM). If Telangana wanted to become separate, fine!

There is no problem with that but it should have been a division based on respect and equitable distribution of assets. But no such thing happened.For the better part of more than a decade, this fellow Chandrasekhar Rao used the worst possible language against the Andhras and always put the Andhras in Hyderabad under a constant unspoken threat of intimidation and violence.

Of course, had the Telanganites resorted to violence, they would have made a serious mistake in terms of underestimating the Andhras.Today, providing an official reception to Chandrasekhar Rao to redeem his vow, a vow that hurts the pride of the Andhras, is a really shameful day for the descendants of the Satakarnis.

While it is understandable for the people of the two Telugu states to have normal relations with each other, inviting people like KCR to the State and marriage receptions is shameful.Have they Andhras forgotten how Jayaprakash Narayan was assaulted by the TRS ruffinas in the Assembly, the attack on Parakala Prabhakar, the way OU students manhandled our Andhra proessors who had gone to Hyerabad for invigilation?

The TDP should also be ashamed of itself for putting up flexis of KCR whenever he is visiting AP.

The Telugus have been divided along regional lines into Andhras and Telanganites. It’s now time for the gods to be divided as well.The Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) Party founded by Kodandaram questioned the act of KCR going to Vijayawada and presenting a nose stud to the Mother Goddess.

“Was it Andhra gods who brought Telangana or the sacrifices made by students and martyrs? KCR should clarify immediately,” said TJS leaders and added, “Had we known that gods would give Telangana, we would simply have prostrated to Annavaram Satyanarayana Swamy and prevented the deaths of so many people for the cause of Telangana.”

Earlier, we saw Murali Mohan giving a caste to Lord Venkateswara Swamy. Now, the Telanganites are dividing gods along geographical lines.While a person visiting a temple should be accorded all respect, even the Andhras are not happy with KCR’s visit. If a person speaks badly of you and wants to do injustice to you, see you ruined and takes a vow that he will visit the temple in your city if his wish is fulfilled, should he be allowed into the city to redeem his vow?

That is exactly how the Andhras feel about KCR’s visit.

The video of the TDP MPs themselves making fun of CM Ramesh’s deeksha has proved that the TDP itself does not take the deeksha seriously.The video is out there on the web and has done incalculable damage to the prestige of the Telugus and the Andhra cause for special category status.

Had it been one lone MP, it might have been dismissed as an aberration but here, we have the whole flock of TDP MPs making merry and dismissing the fast of CM Ramesh as a mere gimmick.How then can the Andhras expect the Centre to take the deeksha favorably and take a decision in favour of the steel plant at Kadapa?

Whatever protests are undertaken by the TDP henceforth will be dismissed as drama by the Centre and rest of the nation.Even Lord Venkanna Chowdary cannot save the reputation of Murali Mohan and his colleagues.As or CM Ramesh’s deeksha, it is best if Naidu sends in the police and shift him to a hospital citing that his health condition is now dangerous.

That would be the best option in the current scenario as the damage has already been done.

The younger generation of TDP leaders is all set to prove their mettle in the upcoming elections whether it be the sons of Karanam Balaram, Devineni Nehru, Ayyanna Patrudu, Yerram Naidu etc.Figuring right at the top of the list though are JC Pawan Reddy and Paritala Sriram, sons of JC Diwakar Reddy and Paritala Ravi.Both of them are now trying for control over Anantpur district and making their moves accordingly.

Both Pawan and Sriram will be contesting the 2019 polls on the TDP ticket and the JC family will be venturing out of Tadipatri for the first time.Ironically, when Paritala Ravi was alive, he exercised total control over Anantpur district and when he entered Tadipatri for the municipal elections there, the JC family did not even contest the polls and had to leave the district. But it’s a different story now.

JC Pawan is a smart young man and rumour has it that Nara Lokesh actually gives more credence to Pawan than Sriram, in his coterie.JC Pawan and Sriram are carrying forward the legacies of their families and 2019 will determine which of them emerges on top in Anantpur district.
