After the flop show of “Mehbooba” at the box office, director Puri Jagan is looking forward to coming back strongly and he has planned another movie with his son Akash in the lead. That’s the known news so far.

Somehow it started rumouring from other day that Puri Jagan has narrated a story to Nani and the natural star got floored by the mass characterisation he heard. Earlier names of many young heroes like Sandeep Kishan, Sharwanand and others surfaced in connection with Puri’s upcoming movies. But none of such films materialised at any point in time.

Though Nani is having a handful of films in line, the rumour generated so strong that his next is with Puri Jagan. When checked, Nani said, “Not true”, simply condemning that there is not even an iota of truth in the rumour being circulated. Currently busy with Sriram Aditya’s film shooting, Nani will be moving to “Jersey” soon and then he has some other films lined up.

Cut to Puri Jagan, the director is said to be cooking a script for his son Aakash and will be narrating a story to star heroes only after wrapping this project.

Dil Raju got away with some mediocre films last year. The star producer is well aware of the shortcomings of those films that were able to make money despite weak content.Dil Raju who released six films last year thought of releasing at least seven films this year from his production house.

However, Dil Raju has slowed down and is concentrating upon quality than quantity. He hasn’t yet released a movie from his banner in this year. But he will get busy in the second half of 2018 as three films from his banner are getting ready for release.

Raj Tarun’s Lover will be the first one from Dil Raju’s production house to hit the screens this year. It will be followed by Nithin’s Srinivasa Kalyanam that is slated for release in August.Ram’s Hello Guru Prema Kosame will release around Dussera/Diwali time. Raju’s big ticket film starring Mahesh has hit the floors a couple of days ago.

How did you felt Nani’s hosting? That’s the one question the first ever eliminated contestant of Big Boss 2, Sanjana Anne, is faced in many interviews. Ever since she’s shown exit doors from the reality show, the Vijayawada based model is busy giving interviews and making the most of the whatever image she got through this participation.

Maybe Nani has said that even he look liked NTR’s performance, or the fact that he also love to see only iPhone kind of stuff inside Big Boss house, and hence kicked out Sanjana. Netizens are hailing Nani’s reply as an epic counter to the struggling model.

Whatever these comments, Nani is impressing household audiences with his natural jokes, comedy liners and satires on the contestants. Audiences feel that both NTR and Nani are good in their own way and comparison is unethical. That said, Sanjana is trying to make more fame out of her short stint with these provoking comments in the name of honesty.

More than his films, his personal news hogs the limelight. Particularly after Baahubali, the rumours of his marriage became a Pan India topic for media which continue to speculate.While there were rumours of marriage with his Baahubali and Mirchi co-star Anushka Shetty earlier, both Anushka and Prabhas had condemned in T-town. However, those rumours gained heat in recent times in Bollywood while the marriage of Prabhas is getting delayed and delayed.

It’s now revealed that Tamil movie artists association, the Nadigar Sangam, has actually stopped these actors from attending Filmfare event. Not just Nayantara, but also the likes of Karthi, Simbu and Kushboo who have won the awards have boycotted the event and didn’t attend. Wonder why?

Actually, Nadigar Sangam laid a rule that any awards ceremony that happens should give some donation to artists association and producers council. They felt that its right to make such demand because these Awards Organisers spend a crore or two and earn more than 5 crores as profit from the whole setup. That’s the reason Vishal led Nadigar Sangam carved out a resolution asking actors and actress to ban awards functions if they don’t donate.

The likes of Colours TV, Vijay TV Awards and Galatta Dot Corn Award ceremonies that took place recently have donated big to Nadigar Sangam and hence these starts turned up there. And it looks like Filmfare didn’t, so they skipped it. We have to really appreciate their unity and wonder if Telugu Film Industry could come up with such resolutions?

In the wake of Nani’s “Jersey” announced, the title and concept poster revealed months before even the muhurat event is held, many other filmmakers who have carved their protagonists as a cricketer are slowly revealing their own stuff.

Though Naga Chaitanya and his director want to keep this is as a secret until their trailer gets out at least, finally, the news got spilt as that won’t look as a secret if they wait for more. In the upcoming film of director Siva Nirvana of Ninnu Kori fame, Chay will be seen as a cricketer. And he will be romancing none other than his wife Samantha on silver screen yet again for the fourth time.

However, we hear that Cricket is just a part of the story but the main film is a family drama revolving around Chay and Sam’s characters. The film is yet to go on floors and Chay is waiting to wrap films like Savyasachi and Sailaja Reddy Alludu to move to this project.With Chay also said to be playing a cricketer, we have to say that Rashmika Mandana in Dear Comrade and Nani in Jersey will join him in becoming the brand ambassador of biggest sports India plays and Indians loves.

It has already been reported that Dil Raju is making a movie with Anil Ravipudi which stars Venkatesh and Varun Tej in the lead.The film interestingly titled F2 will have its opening puja on June 23. Once the muhurat is done, the film will go on to the sets on June 30. Since then, they will shoot non-stop for 20 days in Hyderabad.

After Raja The Great, Anil Ravipudi will be seen once again in Dil Raju’s combination for the film. Venkatesh and Varun Tej will be seen as co-brothers in this out and out family entertainer. The family drama has Tamannah playing the female lead opposite Venkatesh and Mehreen playing on-screen wife of Varun Tej.In fact, for Venkatesh, it will be home-coming of sorts as he is best known for family entertainers. Though he did try his hand at doing different films, nothing worked in his favour.

After the puja on 23, from June 30 onwards music sittings with Devi Sri Prasad will happen and the unit intends to complete the entire shoot at the fastest, so that they can release the film around Sankranthi season. A final date hasn’t finalised though.
