Ever since, Bhaagamathie trailer is out, Bhaagamathie Adda and Bhaagamathie bungalow have become the talking point. Not many know the kinda toil that went into building Bhaagamathie bungalow. Apparently, it took nearly 29 days to erect the Bhaagamathie bungalow set which cost Rs 3 crores for producers. Here are highlights of Bhaagamathie bungalow which are treated to be one of the lead characters in the film.

Art director Ravinder was apparently asked to design a 500 -year-old bungalow that was actually constructed as part of the story by a king to gift his wife. Since the production team couldn’t find the right bungalow of their requirement anywhere in the world, they had made up their mind to design and construct one for the film.

“We drew many sketches and at last erected a huge set in 28,000 sqft. A total of 189 stone pillars of different heights from 10 to 40 fts were used to construct the massive set of Bhaagamathie bungalow. The two floor building which has 12 rooms had lift facility in those days. Laborers used to lift this lift with help of ropes. We designed such special lift for the film. Lots of fiber was used and we took extreme care about colors. You will find unique colors which weren’t used by anyone earlier. Photo frames of rulers of 10 ft height weighing 3 kgs each will be seen hanged to the walls. 200 workers worked for 29 days- day and night to construct the bungalow set. Since producers of UV Creations didn’t bother about budget, we could build a perfect bungalow which cost Rs 3 crores.

Half of Bhaagamathie story is portrayed in this set. Like for Maryada Ramanna, we’re trying for patent rights for Bhaagamathie bungalow set as well. Celebrities like Thota Tharani, Gautham Menon, VV Vinayak, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Sukumar, Sai Dharam Tej and few others visited the set and appreciated my team’s hard work,” informed Ravinder who is contented with the response for the set.

Hence one needs to wait till January 26th to witness the majesty in each and every corner of Bhaagamathi bungalow.

Ravinder, who worked for several noted Telugu films and is the production designer for Anushka Shetty’s Bhaagamathie, enthused confidence that his work would get due appreciation after Bhaagmathie’s release.

Ravinder has several acclaimed films under his belt. Few of his works include Chatrapathi, Magadheera, Maryada Ramanna, Eega, Attarintiki Daredi, S/O Satyamurthy, Duvvada Jagannadham. It may be mentioned here that the house set designed by Ravinder for Maryada Ramanna had got patent rights which is a great attainment. He is now keeping his fingers crossed for the final result of Bhaagamathie.

There is a big twist at the interval of NTR’s disaster film, ‘Shakti’. The actor, who is shown as a tourist guide throughout the first half, is revealed as a police officer at the interval. A similar twist might be in offing in Ravi Teja’s upcoming film, ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ too.

It is heard that Ravi Teja plays the role of a police officer in Touch Chesi Chudu, but it is revealed only at the interval block. The actor hides his identity throughout the first half in order to accomplish a mission. Ravi Teja had earlier played cop roles in films like Vikramarkudu and Power, but Touch Chesi Chudu is the first film where his cop identity is kept a secret.

Starring Raashi Khanna and Seerat Kapoor, the film is directed by noted screenplay writer, Vikram Siri. The action entertainer will be high on glamor as both the leading ladies have reportedly competed with each other in this aspect.

Popular singer and musician Ghazal Srinivas has secured ‘conditional bail’ in the sexual harassment case that he was arrested on earlier this month.

City Civil court on Wednesday granted bail to the singer by imposing certain conditions. Srinivas was directed to appear in Panjagutta police station every Wednesday and Sunday. He was also asked to submit Rs 10,000 surety and signatures of two guaranteers.

Srinivas was arrested on Jan 2 on the complaint of a woman who worked as an RJ in his web radio. She accused him of sexual harassment. A couple of days later, videos of Srinivas allegedly getting massage from women went viral.

Ghazal Srinivas has become a household name and attained fame with his Guinness record feat for singing in most number of languages.

Acclaimed filmmaker Priyadarshan’s beautiful daughter Kalyani Priyadarshan made her grand debut into the industry with Akkineni Akhil’s re-launch film ‘Hello’ helmed by Vikram K Kumar. Keeping the movie outcome aside, now producer Nagarjuna Akkineni got a legal notice over this heroine’s phone number.

Cut to the film “Hello”, in a scene heroine scribbles a phone number and hands it over to Akhil and asks him to call him. The whole story revolves around that phone number and calling only. All movie lovers who have fallen in love with Kalyani’s cute performance started dialling that number now. Who’s number is that?

Vikas Prajapathi, a guy from Jharkhand, who is the real owner of that number is now receiving the calls made by Kalyani’s fans. He shared his agony and stated that the use of his number has made his both his professional and personal lives miserable.  He stated that he couldn’t change his number, as he has been using the same number for the past five years and is known to all his friends. As the unstopping phone calls annoyed his bosses at work and irritated his wife as well, he has now sent a legal notice to Nagarjuna claiming 50 lakh compensation for the mental harassment he has gone through.

The makers of Hello, however, claimed that they took permission from Telecom company before flashing that number on the screen. But the biggest shocker came from the telecom operator who shot back that they haven’t given any such permission whatsoever.

Telugu Television always looks forward to some sort of new game shows and interview types of shows. Due to the advent of Jabardasth and its sister like Pataas, many have turned to adult comedies but not they realised that TV is in dire need of new game shows.

Like the way we have some TV game shows like Genes, now hero Navdeep is getting ready to host another ‘remake’ game show, “Tollywood Squares” that is based on board game ‘tic tac toe’. There will be almost nine celebrity contestants in the game show all at once. For that reason, we hear that Navdeep has come up with a unique plan. He’s likely to rope in most of Telugu Big Boss contestants for this.

Tic Tac Toe- is a simple game that is well known to many people. Here two people will mark their symbol on a 3×3 grid and whoever makes either three ‘O’s or three ‘X’s in a row, including horizontal, diagonal or vertical will win a point.

Guess what, this is the basis of a game show titled “Hollywood Squares” and now that is coming into Tollywood as “Tollywood Squares”. Here, nine celebrities will sit in the nine squares and the contestant who wants to mark his symbol will actually ask the celeb a question and if the celeb answers correct, it is equivalent to his marking.

Breaking the norms that actresses generally slow down on films after getting married, Samantha is instead signing interesting films one after another. The Akkineni daughter-in-law has just announced her new woman-centric film where she will be seen playing the protagonist.

Impressed with the unique storytelling in Kannada hit film, “U Turn”, released to overwhleming reviews in 2016, Samantha had very long ago expressed interest to act n the Telugu/Tamil remake. The film however has been put on hold for this long due to Samas other professional and personal commitments. At one stage, she even thought of turning a producer with this remake.

Samantha is finally all set to take her ambitious remake onto floors in February. Pawan Kumar, who directed the Kannada original, will direct the Telugu and Tamil remake as well. The mystery thriller will go on floors in February.

Meanwhile Sam has a slew of releases in the first half of 2018, including Rangasthalam and Mahanati.

Senior actress Krishna Kumari who has stunned Telugu cinema as a heroine in the 1960s has breathed her last. Born in a Telugu Brahmin family, the 85-year-old actress’ roots are from Rajahmundry and she happens to be the sister of another prominent actress Sowkar Janaki.

From some time, Krishna Kumari is suffering from health-related issues and breathed her last today morning at her Bangalore residence. She’s survived by her daughter, son in law and a grandson. A couple of years ago when she gave interviews to a popular Telugu news channel, her vintage fans got pretty excited about her re-appearance.

Born on March 6th, 1933, Krishna Kumari debuted in films in 1951 and was seen in a short Gandharva Kanya role in acclaimed Pathala Bhairavi role. Later she acted in many Telugu and Tamil films and became part of classics like Bharya Bhartalu, Kulagotralu, Gudigantalu, Dr Chakravarthi, Chikkadu Dorakadu as a leading lady. Though she tried her luck in Hindi films as well under the name ‘Rati’, luck hasn’t come to her side.

In 1969, after her marriage with Bangalore-based businessman Ajay Mohan Khaitan, Krishna Kumari moved to Bangalore to start a new life. She appeared in guest roles in just 3-4 movies after her marriage.

The first treat that film lovers can’t wait to watch is the much-awaited teaser of Ram Charan and Sukumar’s period drama Rangasthalam. The film is set in 1985 backdrop. All the posters that are released so far have greatly impressed the audience and the makers are confident that the teaser which is going to get unveiled on the evening of January 24th will also gain a positive response.

On 25th January, another mega hero who is going to surprise fans is Allu Arjun. He is going to unveil the first song ‘Sainika’ from his upcoming movie ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India’. As per the talk, the song will be a tribute to our Indian Soldiers. Ramajogaiah Sastry penned the lyrics of the song. As Bunny is playing the role of an angry Indian Army Officer, the buzz about this patriotic flick is quite high.

Joining this race is Superstar Mahesh as he gets ready to release the first look poster of his forthcoming film Bharath Anu Nenu, a political film directed by Koratala Siva on 26th. Despite Mahesh’s last release Spyder turning a flop, the expectations on his next are pretty high. Owing to them, Mahesh is revealing the title along with audio of his ‘oath taking ceremony’, which is a first of sorts.
