Nani Calls A Flop A Flop

Share

Nani might be riding high on the wave of success. But he is one who can call a flop a flop. He is no hypocrite. He says if he does not get films, he will move on to doing something else. If he loses his car, then he says he will buy a bike.

He is also clear about the concept of losing stardom. Now, he is openly calling his film a flop.

His recent release was Krishnarjunayuddham. The film has a class and mass character. Though the film opened with decent expectations, the film failed at the box-office cutting short his success run.

Senior Telangana TDP leader and firebrand politburo member Motkupalli Narasimhulu on Friday dared party national president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to take action against him if the latter thinks he has indulged in anti-party activities.

“I will rub my nose on the floor of Naidu’s house if I am at fault,” he said at a press conference at his residence here.Mr Narasimhulu said, “I took blows for Naidu, I have trusted him.”Mr Narasimhulu alleged that Mr Naidu had no respect for the Mala and Madiga communities. He said Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was working for SC categorisation and asked Mr Naidu was not moving on the matter. He said Mr Rao had given a Rajya Sabha seat to the poor.

The TD leader said, “Naidu believed MLA A. Revanth Reddy, but what happened finally?” Believing a “fraudulent person, Naidu has destroyed the party in Telangana state,” he said.An alliance with the Congress was theoretically not possible, and the TD could ally with the TRS, he said.“A situation is being created in the party to force me out of the party,” he said.

When asked if he would be joining the ruling TRS, Narsimhulu said: “Time will decide everything..I still stand by my earlier statement that KCR is our good friend and that TDP should go with TRS or merge with it in Telangana.”“Naidu is not even willing to meet me. I was not even invited to the Mahanadu in the city. Had Naidu given me an appointment, this press conference would not have been held to pour my heart out,” he added.

Rangasthalam Song Inspires Govt School Hoarding

Share

Art is inspired from life and life sometimes imitates art. This is a natural phenomenon in the history of mankind. We are now talking about how films are influencing the society. Recently a scene from the film “Bharat Ane Nenu” emphasizes on the need to upgrade government schools. Probably, that could be the reason even the government sector promotions are going innovative in catching the attention of the people.

“Aa Gattununtaavaa Naganna Ee Gattukostaavaa…” is one of the most famous songs in recent times among Telugus and thanks to “Rangasthalam” and lyricist Chandrabose.

Now a Mandal Parishat School in Kajulauru of East Godavari District has erected a hoarding sensitizing the locals about the importance of government school in comparison to that of private schools.

The words written on it are “Aa Gattununtaavaa Vidyaarthi! Ee Gattukkostaavaa? Aa gattunemo 20000 kharchu undi, ee gattunemo nanyamaina chaduvu undi”, as a parody to the famous Rangasthalam song.

Well, pictures speak louder than words. Just look at the picture here and understand what message is being conveyed hilariously.

KTR Hails Maha Villages’ Plea To Join Telangana!

Share

As many as 40 villages in Dharmabad taluk of Nanded district in neighbouring Maharashtra state expressed their desire to get merged with Telangana state.

Reason: the people are fed up with the Maharashtra government for neglecting them for years and they were impressed with the recent pro-farmer measures like Rythu Bandhu being taken up by the Telangana government.

This was highlighted recently when one of the village sarpanches submitted a letter to TRS MLA from Armoor Bajireddy Goverdhan asking the Telangana government to take over their villages.

On Friday, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao’s son and state IT minister K T Rama Rao described it as a major achievement for the government.

“It is a unique compliment for the chief minister as he could impress even the people of the neighbouring state,” he said.

He even tweeted that their MLA also supported the demand of the villagers.

“Can there be a better compliment? I wonder,” he said and also attacked an interesting clip from a Hindi television channel which telecast the same.

In their representation to Bajireddy, the village sarpanch Baburao Kadam said the villagers were deprived of even basic amenities such as roads and water.

The facilities currently available in the neighbouring villages in Telangana were much better than in Maharashtra, the sarpanch said.

Chief Minister’s Wife Dancing Clip Is Breaking The Internet

Share

Despite the fact that Karnataka’s JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy arrived at the swearing-in ceremony as Chief Minister along with his wife Anitha, the photos that go viral on the internet shows that he’s also married to heroine Kutty Radhika, with whom he has a daughter Shamika too.

Neither Kumaraswamy nor Radhika speaks about it openly because Hindu Marriage Act will make the incumbent CM a criminal then. Polygamy is a crime! Forget about the laws and rules, but now, dance clippings of heroine Radhika are going viral on the internet. Clips that showcase her dancing skills alongside actor/dancer Salman on the Kannada TV show ‘Dance Dance Juniors’ to the one where she attempted a Belly Dance as well.

And these clips are breaking the internet as netizens are showing quite an enthusiasm to catch those passionate moves of CM’s wife on the floor. Though Radhika has secretly married in 2006, which is confirmed by her in 2010, she always wanted to make a film on dance. Like the Hindi film ABCD, she wants to come up with the film “I Hate Dance”, but it never materialised. Currently, she’s back to films after 4-year hiatus and picking up some character roles.

Radhika acted in Tarakaratna’s Bhadradri Ramudu as the leading lady way back in 2004 and featured in a couple of other unreleased Telugu films too.

What Happened in Karnataka Assembly during Trust Vote?

Share

Giving a Friday shock to Modi-Shah combine, the Congress-JD(S) combine in Karnataka has won the Trust Vote easily. This is a big setback to BJP as it poured cold water on the remaining hopes that it had to grab the power in Southern state. BJP somewhere still had some hope that the alliance of JD(S)-Congress would get cracks while distribution of power. Banking on it, BJP’s candidate had even filed nomination for Speaker who later withdrawn fearing defeat. Soon after JD(S)-Congress won the Floor Test by achieving the magic figure, BJP MLAs staged walkout.

Earlier speaking in the Assembly, two-day CM Yeddyurappa has ‘targeted’ Congress leader and former minister DK Shivakumar and ‘rued’ over him saying he was “responsible for all” indicating at his loss of power. Angry Yeddyurappa cursed Shivakumar that he would get for what he did.

Meanwhile, Shivakumar is sulking against his party that he was not “rewarded” well. Shivakumar played crucial role in keeping the flock intact avoiding horse-trading/poaching from BJP that lacked required numbers.

Ram Charan wants to work with Rajkumar Hirani

Share

Telugu actor-producer Ram Charan says he is ready to explore Bollywood and wishes to work with Rajkumar Hirani.

While “Baahubali” fame actor Prabhas and Malayalam movie star Dulquer Salmaan are working in Bollywood films like “Saaho” and “Karwaan” respectively, asked if he has any favourite director in Bollywood, Ram said: “I am a huge fan of Rajkumar Hirani sir and would love to work with him.

“He is one of those filmmakers who is balancing the art and commerce rightly in his films. I so wish to work with him. I have also watched a few films of Vishal Bhardwaj and he makes some amazing pieces of cinema. Working with him would be such a pleasure.”

Ram has already worked in Bollywood as he featured in “Zanjeer” in 2013.

Asked if there’s a criteria he has for a Bollywood project, he said: “Yes, I tried it earlier and it did not do so well. But if I am getting something interesting, why not? I will surely give that a try. But this time, I will be looking at a few factors like the director, story, production… When I am targeting an audience out of my comfort zone, I have to be very careful.”

Since the actor is quite satisfied with his career in the south Indian film industry, according to him, “only a good story is my point of interest to go out of my comfort zone and work in a different language, because honestly, every regional cinema is doing experimental works these days”.

Does he have any favourite Bollywood actress whom he wishes to pair with on-screen?

“Every actress is unique in their own right and choosing one is difficult. Everyone is doing good work. I would be happy sharing screen space with anyone based on the demand of the story,” said Ram, who has already worked with Priyanka Chopra.
