Agnyaathavaasi is just five days away from hitting the marquee and the makers are yet to launch the theatrical trailer.Fans are getting frustrated with the promotions of Agnyaathavaasi as the makers are not keen on releasing posters through social media.

Both Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram don’t believe in promoting films. Agreed that the brand itself brings enough buzz to their films, but they should give their best to intensify the buzz by launching trailers and posters prior to the release.

Agnyaathavaasi trailer was supposed to be out by Friday evening, but there is not even a sign of it as yet.Fans are already losing hopes on trailer as the release is just days away from now. Besides the teaser launch, audio launch and a couple of making videos the team failed to come up with anything innovative in terms of promotions.

Looks like Trivikram is getting carried away by the hype and buzz that is surrounding the film. Industry sources say that he is the one who is not keen on launching the trailer.Pawan usually doesn’t bother much about such things and the producers of the film cannot even dare to question Trivikram, who is a godlike figure for them.

For quite some time, controversial film critic Kathi Mahesh has been under attack from the fans of power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan, for targetting the latter in the social media.Mahesh, too, has stretched the things too far and has vowed to see the defeat of Pawan in politics.

And now, Kathi Mahesh has become the target even for the fans of senior actor and Telugu Desam Party MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna.Reason: Mahesh made some alleged derogatory comments against Balakrishna, too.

Stating that Balakrishna deserves psychiatric treatment for his eccentric behaviour, the film critic said the sooner the actor is taken to the hospital for treatment by a specialist doctor, the better for the people of the state.It is not exactly known in what context Mahesh made these comments, but they had seriously hurt the fans of Balakrishna.

“It is totally unethical to beat people. Especially since he is an MLA, it is not a good culture to beat the people. Being a public representative, Balakrishna has absolutely no right to beat anyone,” he said.He went on to say that Balakrishna was living in a world of illusion.

“He seems to be feeling that he is a monarch ruling kingdoms and that he hails from a great dynasty. He definitely needs psychiatric counselling,” Mahesh observed.Needless to say, Mahesh is specifically targeting Telugu film stars, whose are being released for Sankranti.

As part of his agenda, he has already made several comments against Pawan Kalyan’s forthcoming film Agyathavasi.Now, he is targeting Balakrishna, whose film Jai Simha is up for release during the festival!

Well-known singer Ghazal Srinivas who was arrested on the charges of sexual harassment received a shock. A city court in Hyderabad rejected the bail plea of the singer.

The magistrate rejected the bail petition filed by Srinivas. He was arrested on January 2 for sexually harassing a woman in the office of Save Temples Organisation and remanded to judicial custody till January 12.

The prosecution opposed Ghazal Srinivas’ bail petition on the ground that if released on bail, he will tamper with the evidence or influence the witnesses. The court agreed with the argument and refused to grant bail to the accused. Police filed case against the singer on the basis of video evidence furnished by the complainant.

It is quite common for heroines to enter into a relationship with directors and producers. Though the longevity of the relationship is debatable, they often end up making headlines for various tabloids. Many relationships between heroines and producers, directors end up with the movie itself. While few rubbish them as claims, others subtly ignore them.

So what is the fuss all about with a director saying Keerthi Suresh is scared about him? Speaking at the ‘Thaana Serndhan Koottam’ movie’s press meet, the film’s director Vignesh Shivan went on to share some exciting stories from the making of the film.

‘Keerthi Suresh began calling me brother within few days after the film’s shooting started. I wasn’t surprised or taken back. I was happy she registered me as her brother. I also assured Keerthi, that she is in a safe place, and she has nothing to worry’, said Vignesh.

Tamil media is quick to publicise that some negative talk on the movie ‘Spyder’ has made hottie Rakul Preet Kaur lost two plum projects in Kollywood arena. Taking a clue from this, even Telugu media also believing the same. But that doesn’t seem true.

With Rakul fighting with a Tamil journo couple of days back over some comments made, it is being spread that she’s out of both Surya’s film under Selvaraghavan direction and also Vijay’s next to be directed AR Murugadoss.

The reason is that Rakul apparently stated that working on Spyder is a bad experience though she would like to work with Murugadoss again. However, Rakul claimed that she never said anything against Spyder and asked the media folks to show any video or recorded proof of her uttering those words.

Anyway, now it is coming out that Rakul is not out of Surya’s film but she’s very much there. Sai Pallavi hasn’t replaced Rakul, but actually, both are heroines in this movie. Whatever the rumours are being heard about Rakul losing offers is just a bad propaganda but nothing else.

Coming to Vijay’s movie, it is heard that Rakul’s dates are not available, so the makers opted for Keerthi Suresh.

One of the most controversial film, not just after the release, but even before its first copy is shown to Censor is none other than “Padmavati” featuring Deepika Padukone in the titular role.

After Censor Board gave a go for this movie, now reports are coming about the possible release date. While some organisations belonging to Rajputs have already warned of creating a ruckus if the film releases ever, latest update coming from Sanjay Bhansali camp is that the film will hit cinemas in next month.

Trade circles are now getting information that February 9th will be the tentative release date of “Padmavat” movie. Yes, the movie lost that ‘i’ in the title after Censor Board laid condition to give U/A certificate only after that change is made. Very soon promotions will be kick-started by Deepika, Shahid Kapoor and Ranvir Singh for the film.

Directed and produced by Sanjay Bhansali with a whopping budget of 120+ crores, the film narrates the story of Rani Padmavati whose husband Ratansen suffered defeat at Allauddin Khilji’s hands and how she committed suicide later to avoid getting exploited by the victorious enemy.

There is no historical evidence for the story but some prominent writers like Malik Muhammad Jayasi’s wrote this story in 1540. This Sanjay Bhansali film is based on Padmavat poem conceptualised by this writer.

Cut to box office, there are no big releases other than Anushka Sharma’s another production venture “Pari” on that date. So on Feb 9th, we may see two-star heroines clashing in cinemas.

The much awaited first look of Akshay Kumar from his next Kesari has been unveiled. Sporting a large turbane, broad moustache and bushy beard, Akshay’s look is terrific and intriguing.

This is ambitious project of Karan Johar who wants to beat or recreate the magic of Baahubali made by SS Rajamouli.Keshari has gone onto the floors on Jan 5, 2018 (today). 50-year-old Akshay has joined the shoot.

Sharing his first look from the film, Akshay tweeted: “Feeling nothing but immense pride and gratitude while sharing this. Beginning my 2018 with #KESARI, my most ambitious film and a lot of passion. Need your best wishes as always.”

Telugu version producer of Sandeep Kishan’s latest movie “Project Z”, SK Basheed has come down heavily on the hero for cheating him. He has now accused that hero Sandeep is willfully promoting badly about the movie and creating unwanted rumours about it.

“The film released last week and it got the good talk. But what is wondering me is how the hero himself is cheating me when it comes to promoting this movie. For all producers there are villains are piracy, financiers and others, but for me, the villain for Project Z is Sandeep Kishan only. He’s a hero inside the film, but villain outside the movie” the producer said, talking about Sandeep straight.

“I’ve acquired negative rights of Project Z but haven’t released twice due to problems with Tamil release as we planned simultaneous release all the time. I’ve waited for long but decided to go with the release. But due to Sandeep Kishan not cooperating, I’ve got dubbed his voice with someone else, and needless to say, all of his 19 films with his original voice flopped, so I’ve got the voice done with another one. But Sandeep has started tweeted negatively about the film, and that now resulted in 3.5 crores loss despite film getting positive talk” said SK Basheed.

“All the producers of Sandeep Kishan end up in a huge loss only. His Nakshatram producer got operated for bypass surgery the day after film’s release. And the financier of Project Z committed suicide due to the delays. Rajamouli made a film with Eega, I’ll make a movie with a dog, but don’t make with Sandeep Kishan. He is of the feeling that Telugu audiences are ignoring him, that’s why he won’t promote the film” he added.

On a concluding note, SK Basheed said, “All the producers of Sandeep, beware of this hero and avoid him as he wants Tamil audiences more rather us. He calls people as brother and cheats them. Don’t believe in this hero. I went to court and released film legally, and I will continue to take action on him legally”.
