Telugu industry has this habit of releasing the same cyclone over and again if the first one clicks big time. And if a hero uses the titled ending with “raa” then we have a barge of films hitting the silver screen with the same title. If someone tastes success with a story that has a first half set up in foreign soil and second half in India, then a horde of films will follow.

It looks like the success of “Mahanati” is now making many producers and directors dig the stories of some old and veteran actors such that they could carve a movie on their life. While none of them is quick to zero on something, it looks like producer Raj Kandukuri got hold of another biopic after announcing a similar film long back.

Reports are coming that the producer of films like Pellichoopulu and Mental Madhilo is now making his moves to produce a biopic on late star heroine Soundarya. Though she is a Kannada girl, her whole career happened big way in Telugu only and hence Raj Kandukuri zeroed on this subject. Some say that the film will be made in all four Southern languages. But there is a long process of convincing her family members and husband to make a film on Soundarya’s life.

Cut to the recent past, Raj has earlier announced to produce the biopic of TRS supremo and Telangana CM KCR, but somehow there is no clue about that film so far. Now, let’s see if Soundarya will join Savitri to become the second actress to have a biopic or not.

Expressing that he’s jealous of “Mahanati” director for delivering such a classic, none other than Rajamouli himself heaped praises on the film and director Nag Ashwini. But during his speech, he left a pause, which is now creating tremors.

During his speech at the success party hosted by Allu Arvind, the Baabubali director gave a pause after saying, ‘why are you felicitating Ashwini Dutt garu, but not’. And later he added, ‘his kids have made the film, so they deserve the praises and felicitations’. But in that pause, already enough steam and story got cooked.

Some say, was Rajamouli about to ask why didn’t anyone felicitated him and producers of Baahubali in the same fashion, though they have tweeted about it and spoke about it at many venues? But he’s not such a person who worries about such things going by his nature we have witnessed from years, so there is no point in thinking that he gave a ‘secret punch’.

Film Industry folks are having an interesting explanation regarding this. “During Baahubali time, both common people and media stood like pillars are carried the film on their shoulders. But for Mahanati, despite being a classic, that is not happening. So film industry is doing their bit to promote it. There is nothing wrong or greed here” a senior film personality said.

All eyes were on the theatrical trailer of Bollywood hit machine Salman Khan’s upcoming action extravaganza ‘Race 3’. Salman took to Twitter and shared the film’s trailer with fans. Bhai’s addition to the third part of the super hit action movie franchise ‘Race’ had added a lot of buzz for Race 3.

Race 3 trailer is full of breathtaking action and Salman joins the Race family and oozes his testosterones on the screen like never before. The last few shots in which he displays his gun totting skills as he fires off a bazooka of sorts are pure treat for his fans. Spectacular locations are yet another major highlight of the trailer after the high-octane stunts.

Race 3 is slated for June 15 release as an Eid special treat. Salman Khan has been constantly delivering blockbusters whenever he had a release during the Eid festive season, and Race 3 already looks quite a money-spinner at the box office.

Choreographer Remo D’Souza has directed Race 3, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah and others. Salman co-produces the movie along with Ramesh Taurani of TIPS.

Director Srikanth Addala is known for writing scripts that will have no story but only a galaxy of emotions. And such stories worked big time when he has come up with films like Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu but failed when he did Brahmotsavam. So what’s his next now?

Reports are coming that Geetha Arts is once again backing this director, and this time they are going to turn producers as well for him. And recently when the director narrated a story of two brothers, they made Sharwa listen to it and also got his nod for the same. After wrapping Sudheer Varma and Hanu Raghavapudi’s films, the young hero is likely to take up this project.

As far as talk around the story is out, we hear that the film will be more like an extension of Seethamma Vaakitlo where we have seen the bonding of brothers, played by Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu. This film will showcase that bonding after they get married and live under the same roof, they say.

While it would have become tough for Addala to grab another star’s dates, it looks like the presence of Geetha Arts made easy for him. But with the galaxy of emotions he portrays, hope this time there will be some story as well.

For the first time, Kalyanram is trying out an out and out romantic avatar in his upcoming film ‘Naa Nuvve’. In another first, Kalyanram romances Tamannaah in the movie. One of the country’s finest cinematographers PC Sreeram handled cinematography for Naa Nuvve, while ad filmmaker Jayendra directed it.

The theatrical trailer of Naa Nuvve has been released today. The trailer showcases a pleasant yet intriguing relationship between Kalyanram and Tamannaah. The trailer was cut in such a way that it hardly leaves any hints of the film’s storyline.

However, PC Sreeram’s vibrant visuals, Sharreth’s alluring background score and Kalyanram-Tamannaah’s chemistry offer romantic vibes. We will have to wait until May 25 to see the real magic unfold. Cool Breeze Cinemas has produced Naa Nuvve in East Coast Productions banner’s presentation.
